The Legend of Time Turner

The TARDIS was spinning out of control, causing the Doctor to fall, despite his grip on every rail he was close enough to grab. He looked at the monitor that was showing where the TARDIS was headed and the screen went black. Suddenly, the TARDIS shut down entirely. The Doctor could no longer see what was happening outside and he was scared for the first time in over three thousand years. He fell hard on his chest when he heard a loud crashing noise. His sonic screwdriver cut deep into his left heart, causing him to scream in agony. He pulled it out and tried to stand but remembered that his left heart sent blood to the left side of his body and he fell back down on his back. He had no choice but to regenerate. He began to do so and when he finished, he passed out from lack of energy. When he woke up, he noticed he was not wearing any clothes. He felt wrong but when he looked in the mirror he knew why. He had become a completely different species. He was obviously an equine of some sort. He was definitley not a normal horse or pony. He was four feet tall and had grown a dark brown mane and tail,both of which were spiky, and his clothes were all gone,replaced by a single white collar and a red bow-tie. His eyes were a brilliant baby blue and there was a tattoo on each of his flanks. He laughed at what the tattoo was of. On each of his flanks, he had a tattoo of an hourglass. He realized what had happened. The TARDIS had gone through a rift in space and travelled to another dimension. Since he had gone through a rift, he had regenerated as the dominant species of the first planet he had come to. He was surprised to learn he could speak. He told the TARDIS to take a trip to gather as much data on this universe as possible. A trip that, according to the TARDIS, would take two years. The Doctor sent it on its quest after leaving to investigate his surroundings. He walked on all fours as all equines do and he didn't walk long before he came to a town that had a sign saying "Welcome to Ponyville". He wondered how the creatures of this Earth-like planet wrote so well without fingers. He was suddenly surprised by a pink equine who literally bounced right up to him and began bouncing backwards while talking to him. "Hi! My names Pinkie Pie! What's your name? I know everypony in Ponyville but I don't know you which means you don't know anypony here which means you need friends which means you need me!" Pinkie began to bounce alongside him while asking him questions. "What's your name?" "Just call me the Doctor." "If your a doctor,then why is your cutie mark an hourglass?" "So that's what it's called! Odd name though, is that an odd name? I think it's an odd name. What is a cutie mark? What does the picture have to do with my profession?" "Boy,oh boy! You could give me a run for my bits in talking! Well if you really don't know what a cutie mark is then i guess i should take you to Twilight. She can tell you anything you wanna know!" "Very well then! Take me to see this 'Twilight'. I would love to see another intellectual." "Boy you sure do use big words! Twilight's gonna love you!" So Pinkie took the Doctor to a large tree with a door and windows in it. She knocked on the door and another equine opened the door. This one was calm and collected. She had a lavender colored body with a dark purple mane and tail,both of which had two different colored streaks in them. Her mane was mostly dark purple, but had a streak of hot pink and a streak of indigo in it. She had a horn poking out from behind her mane and her tail had the same two streaks. When the door opened, she had been a few feet away from it and there had been a faint purple-pink glow around the doorknob. Pinkie walked in and the Doctor followed. He saw rows upon rows and shelves upon shelves of books in the lower floor of the tree and even more going up a flight of stairs."Pinkie, I'm trying to reorganise the books,so try not to get in the way please." "Okey dokey lokey! I brought a friend to see you! He says he doesn't know what a cutie mark is, even though he has one!". "Wait....you don't know what a cutie mark is?" said Twilight as she looked at her own flank. The Doctor noticed her 'cutie mark' was a dark purple star with pinkish lines going outward from the center of the star, and darker purple lines even smaller than the pinkish ones going outward between the star and the pink lines. "What exactly are these things and what do they mean Miss Twilight?" "Oh, you can just call me Twilight. Well, where to begin? Okay! A cutie mark is a visual representation of what our special talent is and it just so happens that our cutie marks show up on our flanks." "Ah. I see. So what does Pinkies cuite mark represent?" "Oh, Pinkie is the best party pony in all of equestria! Nopony throws a better party than Pinkie!" "And your's?" "Well this is my cutie mark because my special talent is magic." "Magic! Ooh this world just gets better and better! I'm going to regret leaving in two years!" "Ummm, did I miss something?" said Twilight. "Oh no, but if you don't mind listening to an explanation, I would gladly fill you in on the details!" "Okay then...um... I never learned your name." The Doctor tried to think of a name but couldn't. "Just call me either Doctor or the Doctor." Twilight looked at him quizzically but just went over to a couch and sat down. It amazed the Doctor at how human they seemed. Even the way they sat on a couch was human. Pinkie left and the Doctor sat down next to Twilight. "All right. Fill me in on what I didn't understand." 'Very well. I was born on a planet called Gallifrey and when I got older, I built a device called a sonic screwdri-" "Wait a second. Did you say you were born on a planet called 'Gallifrey'?" "Yes." ''That would mean you are an alien!" 'Well yes. To you i am an alien, but to me you are the alien." "But how do you look so much like a normal earthpony?'' "Well, I was on my TARDIS,thats pretty much a time machine and a...well it stands for Time and Relative Dimension in Space. It can literally go anywhere." "Okay...but that doesn't answer my question." "Oh, right! Well, i was flying my TARDIS when i went through a rip in Space between your universe and mine. When the TARDIS crashed on this planet, I fell on my sonic screwdriver,which is a device that can do anything as long as I can think it, and it impaled one of my two hearts, causing instant death for the entire left half of my body. Well, since i couldn't even walk, i had no choice but to employ my power of regeneration to survive and when I regenerated, I guess I turned into the dominant species of this planet since it was closest to me,considering the fact that I was already on this planet." After he had finished his story, Twilight began to think. The Doctor could see the wheels spinning in her head as she thought about his story. "Well then, I guess I'm gonna have to teach you all about Ponyville and Equestria. I hope you like learning!"
