Ice and Water

They finally reached the city. The barpony from the inn saw them and became angry:

• No! Not you! Our lives depend on a stranger pony! We won't sacrifice us for her and you won't save her!

• Chill out, pal! - Glace told him and froze him.

The citizen had the same thought in mid. What was a stranger for them? they only cared for themselves. The landicorn had a lot ponies to "chill out".

• They sure are angry! - shared he with the rest of the gang.- I wonder will they chill out faster if I just give them a slushy?

• Surely not! - Dash was starting to like his sence of humor

• There! - Luna saw the place

A crowd gathered around the beach. They didn't want to see the group at all. Sadly, things weren't just for "chillin'out" as Applejack said. They needed some bucks to make the crowd make them way.

• Oh, you come just in time for the big show! - spoke Hydro

• But the great show won't be as planned! - said Glace and jumped in front of Cadence - To get to her you must first pass me!

• You? Come on! You aren't even a lord!

• But I still got some tricks, old pony!

The last thing made Hydro angry. The sea stalion fired a water stream with his horn. In the same moment Glace shot an ice beam with his. The forces were equal. Exactly in the middle between the two ponies huge chunks of ice fell.

• You were better than I thought! But my force isn't only water... It is everything that lives in it! - yelled the water lord

Suddenly a huge great white shark jumped out of the water. It was 'this' close to eat the ice bender, but he just threw some big ice chunks at it and the shark returned screaming to the water.

• That was a cheap trick, Hydro!

• But you handled it. Let's see how will you handle this!

The sea made a little tide. The both landicorns were in water to their knees. Rarity saw the horrifying jellyfish swimming to Glace. She yelled:

• Jellyfish! Look out!

• That isn't fair! - Rainbow was angry at Hydro

Glace just flew in the air and froze the water beneath.

• Sorry, old pony, but I prefer ice skating than water skiing!

He slipped on the ice and punched Hydro. Once, twice, thrice...

• ENOUGH! - yelled the sea stalion. The ice became water again and returned to the sea. - I was playing with you, but now you shall feel my rage. My TIDAL RAGE!!!

• Oops! - Glace said.

• What? - asked Luna

• Tidal rage is his most powerful spell, the one, that you use to become a lord. Remember?

• Oh. I s'ppose that's bad! - spoke Applejack

• If you think a 100 feet tall wave for a bad thing, yes!

• No! - yelled Cadence

Glace turned around to see, that Hydro was getting ready to stab Cadence with the siren blade. Every mare, stabbed with it, became a siren.

• No! - yelled Glace and flew to her...

... just in time. The blade pierced him instead. And to stalions it brought death.

• NO! - Cadence fell over Glace and started crying.

• Arrr. Now I have to wait another year! - Hydro was very angry. - At least you will all die now! - yelled he at the crowd. The huge wave was already on the horizon.

• At least you won't be a siren, Cadence. - spoke Glace. He coughed quietly. The blade had pierced him in his lung. His death was sure.

• No! You shall live! It only... - Cadence didn't have words to express her grief. The coming wave had no meaning. She would die as her friend, who saved her from unworthy live.

• Hey Twi.  What is it with the medalion? - asked Rainbow Dash

The purple earth pony got it off her neck. It was now shining and there were letters on the back. The inscription saud:

       The worthy I shall save, the worthy I shall gift.

Twilight knew the meaning. She trew it with all the strength she hat at Glace.  As the medalion touched him, he opened his eyes, started breathing again and the blade fell from him.

• You are alive! - now Cadence had no words for her joy.

• He's been tiranizing for too long. I shall teach him a lesson of chillin' out he won't forget. Hey old pony! - yelled Glace at Hydro

• You are alive?

• You know. As my friend Twilight says: Friendship is magic!

• But...

• There is no but, Hydro. Now prepare for the newest ice age!

Glace got up in the air. He wasn't flying, because his wings weren't moving. Soon storm clouds gathered over him. The wind  blowed.

• Ah, what is he doin'? - asked the confused Applejack

Twilight got the medalion. The letters were still there.

• It says that not only it saves the worthy, but it also gifts him. the gift must be the spell Blizzard.

• Blizzard? - both the princesses were also confused.

• Yes! With it he'll freeze the wave!

The wave came. it was really, really tall. But in the same moment the blizzard also reached it maximum power. The crowd could barely hear it's own thought. The blizzard was fighting the wave and Hase was fighting Hydro. In one moment it looked like the wave would flud the town, but in the next moment it was completely frost.

• NO! Even on the dry land it is unstoppable! How? - yelled Hydro

• It's time past. Now yours past too! - replied Glace and stabbed him with an ice blade on his hoof.

The sea stalion turned to water, froze and exploded.

• Woot! That was hard! - spoke Glace.

• Hey, Glace, what's that on you? - asked Dash

Glace looked himself. In the battle he didn't notice, that he was now covered in silver armour.

• I guess I am a lord now! - answered the landicorn.

The town ponies got out of their hiding places. Glace turned to them:

• Citizen! Your town is finally free from it's curse!

• Hooray! - yelled the town ponies and threw their hats in the air.

• I guess our job here is done. We should go now. - told Twilight everypony

• No! Stay! - yelled a filly from the crowd

• Yes! - supported her a colt

• No, no. We have 5 more cities to liberate.

• I guess you should get this. - said Glace to Twilight

Twilight got the thing in her hand. It was the aquamarine stone from the medalion. It passed perfectly in.

The group moved to the portal, followed by the whole town.

• You and Cadence are remaining here to fix the damage, right? - Celestia asked Glace

• Actually we thought, that we might help a bit later. For now you need a bigger help! - Cadence told them

• So you are coming with us? Yay! - even as an alicorn Pinkie was still the happiest pony around.

• Hey! Chill out! - spoke Glace

Everypony looked him strange.

• Just kidding!

Now everypony laughed.

• Bye! - the group was saying good bye with the town.

• Bye! - the citizen replied.

Twilight put the medalion n the stone. It spun and stopped on the empty place for the ruby.

• So it is going to be Fire! - Luna spoke

• Great! I love marshmalows! - Glace joked.

The ponies stepped in the portal and dissapeared. The portal closed behind them.
