Twilight Sparkle returns to Canterlot for a family visit and finds some drastic changes have taken place at home. This upsets her and leaves her longing for how things use to be. Later she discovers Princess Luna is also suffering from such nostalgia, though to an infinitely greater degree. Twilight takes it upon herself to help Luna come to accept the Equestria of today. However it's not so easy to forget a life that was taken from you. Will Luna be able to overcome her grief and lay aside her resentment to once again become the leader she is meant to be. Will Twilight learn to not live in the past herself and embrace a new chapter in her life.
