Before I begin with the story, let me introduce myself because every story needs to have an introduction and plus it will leave a lot of unanswered questions if a story didn't have a prologue or an introduction.
My name is Daniel Harrington and I'm from Dallas, TX. Before I came to Equestria, I was a cashier at my local supermarket. I wanted to became a counselor because I was always good at making people feel better and it fills my heart to know that I did a very good deed to the person. However, my parents could not afford to pay for college and I didn't have very good grades in high school. But that didn't stop me from helping other people when they need comfort or somebody to talk to. I still kept that with me and I don't think I'll ever let that talent go, no matter what other people say or do to me.
I lived in an apartment, a very cheap apartment. To my surprise, it was actually pretty nice. There wasn't any problem with the plumbing nor was there a problem with the heat. But the size of the bedrooms were my main complaint. It would have been pretty nice to have more space instead of this. When I would try to go to the bathroom, the sink would be right there and I barely had enough room to sit on the toilet and do my business. When I would wake up in the morning, I would always like I'm in a small containment chamber. Well, I'm sure it wasn't that bad. Still, it was a pretty small bedroom.
During my time in school, I was picked on a lot and nobody didn't care about me. So I figured, what was the point of even breathing? Just when I was about to give up on myself, I was introduced to a girl named Ashley. She was the kindest person I have ever met. We spent a lot of time together and she was the one that kept me going. She was always there for me when I was down. She would sometimes be in a bad mood, but she wouldn't take it out on me because she would tell me why she was in the good mood and I would then see if I can get her in a good mood again. It was the best moments of my life. But about five months later, it would turn my world upside down. One day, Ashley never showed up to school. Some of her friends told me that they didn't know where she was. Concerned, I decided to call Ashley's parents to see what was wrong. Her mom picked it up, which I expected. But the thing that concerned me even more was the way she sounded. She didn't sound good at all.
"Hello?"
"Is this Ashley's mother?" I asked her.
"Yes. Is this Daniel?"
"Yeah. Is there something going on? Why wasn't Ashley in school today?" I asked in concern.
"...Ashley died from a car accident, Daniel." she said sadly.
My heart dropped. I didn't expect this at all.
"WHAT?!?"
"I know this is hard for you Daniel." she began. "I also know it's hard for you to accept."
She was right about that. I was in full denial about the whole thing.
"No. There has to be some sort of mistake. She can't be dead. We've only known each other for five months. There is no way that Ashley can be dead. PLEASE tell me that she isn't dead because I don't know what I would do without her!" I shouted.
"Daniel, she is dead. But that doesn't mean you shouldn't go on with your life. You have so many opportunities for you. So many people around the world. So many years of life to live. You will get through this Daniel and don't let this get in you're way. Ashley wouldn't want you to live in sorrow because of her. It's what she would want you to do." she said comfortingly.
I took all of this in. She was right. Ashley wouldn't want me to live in sorrow over her death. She would have wanted me to move on with my life.
"...Your right. I mean, it still pains me deeply that she's gone, but I have to move on." I said. "Thank you for the piece of advice."
"No. I should be thanking you."
"Me? Thank me for what?" I asked with confusion.
"For being so caring and thoughtful to my daughter. She wouldn't stop talking about you. She said that you are the sweetest, most caring person she has ever met." she began. "Before she met you Daniel, she was depressed and unhappy with her life. But as soon as she met you, she was so happy. Did you ever notice her sadness when you met her Daniel?"
"Yeah. I did actually." I answered.
"And did you notice her getting happier and happier as you two spent more time together?" she asked.
"Yeah." I began. "But I still don't see the point in this."
"My point, Daniel, is that if you can change her life, then you can change other people's life and make them happier than they originally were. Maybe you could make a career out of that." she explained.
"...Wow. I never really thought about that until you mentioned it." I began. "Do you really think I can pull it off?"
"Yes. Like I said, if you can change her life, then you can change other people's life around. You just gotta believe in yourself and push yourself to do so." she explained.
"...This is all happening too fast Mrs. H." I told her.
"That's the whole process of growing up Daniel." she said.
"Yeah. I guess it is." I said.
"Well Daniel, I don't know about you, but I'm getting pretty tired." she began. "We'll talk about this tomorrow."
"Yeah. I was thinking the exact same thing. Try to have yourself a good evening, okay?" I asked.
"I'll try. Good night Daniel."
She then hung up and left me with so many thoughts in my head. What she told me was so influential, I stuck with it for the rest of my life. I grew tired from crying too much and, the next thing I knew, I feel asleep.

A Princess's Sadness Prologue Part 2 Is This Really Happening?
It's been a few years since Ashley died and I just graduated from high school. I was only a freshman when she died and I still couldn't get over it. But it wasn't as bad as it was years ago. I mean, yes, I still miss her dearly. I had to move on with my life though. At least we got to spend a lot of time together before she died, so I'm thankful for that.
Now before I go on, I just want to tell you guys right now that I watched some of G 3.5 and I absolutely hated it. I watched like two to three episodes of it and already did I want to destroy my computer screen. So, what I'm basically implying is, I'm familiar with the MLP franchise. But, like I said, this one was completely different.
I look at it for a few moments and already did it catch my interest. So I look it up and find out that it's called: "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic." Another thing I have to say, I always look up the reputation of pretty much everything, even cartoons. To my surprise, critics really like the show and say it's great. It also received a lot of fans real quick. They go by the term "bronies." But the thing that really surprised me was that most of the fans of the show were grown men! I just couldn't help but laugh at that because I don't think I've ever seen a cartoon get so popular fast and have the fan-base of mostly grown-up men. I mean, at the time, I thought this was just flat-out silly! I honestly couldn't see why they would like it. That is, until I watched the first episode and I finally understood why they like it so much.
Since this was so popular, I thought I would watch the first episode and see why this got so popular in the last couple months. So I look up the first episode and began to watch it. The beginning was about two sister putting balance in the kingdom, known as Equestria. One raised the sun, Celestia, and one raised the moon, Luna, and the cycle continues for many generations. This is where the story gets sad. Luna was starting to grow darker and darker as the days went one. Then, one day, Luna refused to lower the moon and threatened eternal night. Celestia tried to reason with Luna, but her cold heart took over, I guess, and she become what she was mostly known as "Nightmare Moon". Then it goes on to Celestia using "The Elements of Harmony" on Luna, or Nightmare Moon, to banish her to the moon for 1,000 years.
Whoa. A thousand years? That's a little harsh. I began. I mean, I could only imagine what must be going through her mind once she gets to the moon. How is she going to survive? From what I learned, there is no oxygen, water, or food on the moon. So couldn't the white one at least thought about it before she sent her to the moon?
I then shrugged it off and began watching it again because it was just a cartoon. So why start an argument about something like that?
As the episode went on, I was introduced to a purple-colored pony known as Twilight Sparkle. I liked this one already because, at the time, purple was my favorite color. What really caught my eye was her hair and eyes. They were the same color and that's what I liked about her. Plus she read a lot of books, which is something I tend to do. I continued to watch it because it really caught my interest.

I just got done with the second episode and I was instantly hooked. The animation was amazing, the characters were amazing, and the plot was...I don't know. I still couldn't understand what the message of the show was. I looked at the title again. Friendship. I then realized what it meant.
I had some plans in mind, but I figured that I would do that tomorrow and watch more MLP. So I began to watch the third episode. Then the fourth, the fifth, the sixth, the seventh and I continued from there. I watched it up until the sixteenth episode. All this stuff about friendship was really getting to me. I enjoyed the episodes, but as I watch more, I grow more and more depressed. I think it had something to do with the purple pony, which is Twilight. She really reminded me of Ashley. She always liked to read books and tell me things that I never knew were true and things I didn't know about.
Anyway, I was in the middle of me bashing myself and that's when something truly shocking happens.
"This is all my fault!" I began. "Why didn't I go with her? Maybe if I would have gone with her, then this would have never happened. But, nope, I'm too much of an idiot to do such a thing. Maybe this is my punishment! A punishment for WHAT?!?! What did I do to deserve this? GOD I CAN'T DO ANYTHING RIGHT!!!"
I started to sob uncontrollably, not caring if anyone else heard so. It was in the middle of the night and everyone was sleeping. Like I said, I didn't care if anyone heard me. As I cried my eyes out, I felt something that warmed my heart a little bit. Then, it happened.
"Why do you continue to bash yourself Daniel?"
The voice sounded so loving and caring, it warmed my heart a little bit. But that didn't stop me from crying. I didn't turn around because the shock caused me to stay still.
"Why would you care? Who are you anyway and how did you get into my house?!" I yelled.
"If I didn't care, then I wouldn't be here." the voice said.
"That doesn't answer my question! Who are you?"
"I'll give you a hint: stars." she said.
I was starting to get angry.
"Stars? WHAT DO YOU EVEN ME-"
My heart then skipped a beat as I then figured out who it was. But I had to be sure. Since the shock went down, I turned around to see who it was and what I saw stunned me beyond belief. I just couldn't believe it was her, appearing right in front of my eyes. Is this really happening?

A Princess's Sadness Prologue Part 3 Goodbye Earth
There she was, standing right in front of my eyes. There were a whole bunch of questions racing in my head that I wanted answers for. I mean, this couldn't possibly be happening right now...right?
"...Are you real or are you just a figment of my imagination?" I asked.
"Yes I am real." she responded.
"...Who are you?"
She hesitated a little bit, but eventually she answered my questions.
"My name is Princess Luna. I am from the magical land of Equestria and I'm the bringer of the night." she answered.
I honestly didn't have anything else to say after that. I now knew that she was, in fact, real. But I still had many other questions that I wanted an answer for.
"Daniel, do you know why I am here?" Luna asked.
It took me a little bit to answer that. I was going to say yes, but lying to the Goddess of the Night was definitely not an option for me. I'm not good at lying at all. So I'm always honest with pretty much everybody that I meet.
"No I don't. Why are you here?" I asked.
"I'm here to take you to Equestria, Daniel." she responded.
My heart, once again, skipped a beat. I couldn't believe that she said that. Me going to Equestria? ME? Why couldn't it be anybody else? Why me?
"...Me?"
"Yes you! Is there a problem with my offer?" she asked.
"No no, I would love to go to Equestria. However, I still have more questions to ask. Well, that is, if you don't answering." I said sheepishly.
"Of course, Daniel. I don't mind that at all. Ask away!" she responded.
I then gathered my thoughts so I don't ask the wrong question at the wrong time. But it was kind of hard to do so because of the great offer. I really would love to go to Equestria instead of being in this shit hole we call "Earth". Sorry for the cursing, but it's the truth.
"How do you know my name?" I finally ask.
Once again, Luna hesitated a little bit before answering me.
"I hope this doesn't sound creepy Daniel, but I've been watching you for a couple months now." she answered.
Before I go on, I have to get this out. What she said kind of reminds me of one of those movies where the main character is going through a lot of pressure and then, out of nowhere, someone or something appears out of nowhere and says they have been watching you for a long time and they want to offer you something. That's what this whole situation is reminding of.
"...You have been watching me? May I ask why?"
"Your sadness and depression is the reason, Daniel." she responded.
"Wow." I began. "I mean, I knew I was sad and depressed. But I didn't think it get to the point where you would have to step in. Is it really that bad?" I asked.
"Yes." she responded.
"Does anyone else know about this, besides you?" I asked softly.
"My sister, Celestia, knows about this."
Oh great. I wonder when she's gonna get here. I thought to myself.
"She should be here in a few moments. Do not worry, she's just as friendly as I am." she responded.
Okay, whoa, I didn't see that coming. I just stood there in complete awe. She can hear my thoughts? That's something I didn't know about her. What else could she do?
"Wait, you can hear my thoughts? Can Celestia read thoughts too or can you only do that?" I asked curiously.
"I'm the only that can do that, as far as I know." she said.
At this point, things started to get interesting. I never thought that she could do that. Though I wondered why I was surprised. I shouldn't be because, for one thing, she was an alicorn and she was also a Goddess. Still, it was a pretty cool feature to her. I was starting to like her even more, not in that way if that's what you are wondering.
"If you don't mind me asking, but what else can you do?" I asked in curiousness.
"I can go into a ponie's dream. If it sounds a little creepy, I completely understand that." she said.
"No, it actually sounds pretty cool. What do you do when a pony has a very bad nightmare?" I asked.
"I guide them out of it, no matter how bad it is."
I then started to ask some questions that concern me because I still wanted to know why she chose me in the first place. I know I already asked already, but I thought it wasn't good enough.
"Hey Luna?"
"Yes Daniel?" she responded nicely.
"Why did you choose me? I mean, there has to be a good number of people that are going through the same type of stuff that I'm currently going through right now. So why me?" I asked.
Luna, again, hesitated. It looked like she was gathering her thoughts for this question. So I was expecting a long answer from her.
"Well, Daniel," she began. "Honestly, I can't seem to find an answer. There's just something special about you and Celestia says the same thing. But I think I should let her answer that question instead of me because she better at answering these kinds of questions than I am. Speaking of Celestia, here she comes."
I looked around, but saw nothing. This kind of confused me.
"...Where is she? I don't see anythi- WHOA!"
That's when a big orb of light appeared in the middle of my living room. It was pretty bright and it caused me to shield my eyes because of how bright it was. Then, just like that, the light was gone.
Damn that was bright. What the hell was that? I asked myself.
"Maybe you should uncover your eyes and see for yourself, Daniel." Luna said.
I did just that. I uncovered my eyes and standing there was the one and only Princess Celestia. I couldn't help but just stare at her. I always did like her mane and the amount of beauty she had.
She always did have a beautiful smile. I thought to myself.
"Thank you Daniel." Celestia said, blushing lightly.
I couldn't help but smile. Celestia blushing was the cutest thing I have ever seen. I even giggled a little because of it. Then it got awkwardly quiet for some reason. I then decided to break the silence with a few questions for Celestia.
"So Celestia," I began. "Are you here to take us to Equestria?"
"Yes I am. But only if your ready Daniel."
"I'm ready. But I have to do something first before we go." I said.
"Take your time Daniel." Luna said.
"I will." I responded.
That's when I went up to my room and got a few things. My family picture, laptop, iPod Touch and my iPod charger. I also took some clothes with me as well because I knew that they didn't have any clothes that would fit a human in Equestria.
I made my out of my room and went downstairs. Then, I was once again greeted by Celestia and Luna, who were very patient with me.
"Are you ready to go Daniel?" Celestia asked.
I thought about it for a few moments. I still couldn't believe I was going to Equestria. After a few moments of thinking, I finally made my decision.
"I'm ready whenever you two are." I responded.
"Okay then. Step closer to me." Celestia said.
I did just that. I stepped closer to Celestia and then waited for something to happen. But it took her a while to do so.
"So...now wha- WHOA." I yelled suddenly.
A bright light then surrounded us. I started to get dizzy as the light got closer to my face. Then, everything went black.

A Princess's Sadness Prologue Part 4 The Dream
I'm not sure how long I was out, but it felt like an eternity! Plus, I couldn't even move. It was starting to get to me. What if I was dead? What if this was just all a dream?
"Hey. What's going on? Why can't I move anything? I'm not dead, am I?" I asked, irritated.
No response. Maybe I should try using my head, since they can read my thoughts.
...Hello? Celestia? Luna? What's going on? Are we there yet?
"Hi Daniel." Celestia began. "Sorry for not responding to you the first time. No, we are not there yet. Just be patient and we'll be there in no time."
Great, more waiting.
"Well, what should I do? Sleep more?" I asked.
No response.
...Hello?
Still no response.
...Hey Luna?
"Yes, Daniel?" Luna asked.
What is Celestia doing right now? What's going on?
"She's trying to locate where we're going. It shouldn't take that long."
...How long was I out?
"About an hour or two and, to answer your question from earlier, no you are not dead." she said.
So what do I do now?
"It's like what Tia said before, just wait a little longer and be more patient. While you are waiting, you could think about things other than what is going on. That might help pass the time!"
That actually wasn't a bad idea. I started thinking about what will be in store for me in Equestria. I'll be able to make a lot more friends than I ever dreamed of. I might even find the love of my life there! Then, I started thinking about Ashley. She was just...unbelievably beautiful. If you were to see her for yourself, you would agree with me. Whenever I think about her, I feel so happy inside, but then I would feel sad inside because of what happened to her. She shouldn't have died like that.
Hey. What's going on now? Why am I getting tired all of a sudden?
"It's nothing to worry about, Daniel. We're actually almost there to Equestria. It will take us a couple hours and since you don't like waiting for that long, I put a spell on you to make you sleep for the time being. Once you wake up, we'll be in Equestria. Now...sleep." Celestia finally says.
It's weird, as soon as she said those last two words, my eyes started to feel heavy. The more I tried to stay awake, the more heavy my eyes were getting. So, I soon stopped trying to stay awake and I let myself fall asleep. My new life is about to begin and I couldn't be anymore excited...
Daniel's Dream
I open my eyes and I'm in a field of some sort. It was sunny, the sky was blue and flowers were everywhere. It was...beautiful. I look ahead of me and I see...a women in the distance.
...No. It can't be.
I start to think of what might happen if I just...call out her name. She'll just turn around, then smile and then fade away into nothingness. You know, kind of like in the movies. The only difference is that this isn't a movie. This is actually happening to me in my mind. In my sleep. I just...felt this urge to call her name, but something was telling me not to do it. I had to. I just had to be sure it was her. So, without any further delays, I start walking towards her slowly. I didn't want to rush it. Why? I have no idea. As I was walking, I think about what else she might do if I call her name. What if she just...disappears? No, she wouldn't do that...would she? I got back into focusing on what was going on in the dream. I got close enough to her and when I did, I stopped walking and prepare myself for what might happen.
"...Ashley?"
...Nothing. She didn't do anything. Then, she did something I didn't expect at all...she started crying. Why?
"Ashley? Why are you crying?" I asked with care.
"...I'm...I'm so sorry, Daniel."
"About what? Why are you sorry?"
"I'm sorry that had to happen." Ashley said.
Do you know what I wanted to do at that moment? I just wanted to hug her tightly. However, I knew it wasn't the right time. I held my ground and continued to talk to her.
"Ashley, you don't need to be sorry. It is me that needs to say I'm sorry." I said.
That's when she turned around. She still looked as beautiful as ever.
"You? Sorry? For what?" she asked with confusion.
"I'm sorry for not being there for you when you needed me. I feel like it's my fault."
"Oh Daniel, this is not your fault at all. If you were there with me, then you would have died as well. Just be thankful that you're still alive and that you have a new life waiting for you in Equestria." she said with a warm smile.
...Wait what?
"Wait, how do you know about Equestria?" I asked, with the biggest hint of confusion.
"Daniel, I know you watch that show." she said simply.
I kind of blushed at that. I tried to hide it, but she already saw it and started laughing a little bit and oh my GOD was that laugh adorable!
"Oh Daniel, don't be embarrassed by it. I think it's wonderful that you got into something that actually made you happy for once...something that made you forget about me..." she said sadly.
That was it. I grabbed her and I hugged her tightly. It lasted a good while. After a few more minutes, we broke the embrace and I started talking again.
"What are you talking about?" I began. "Why on Earth would you think I forgot about you?" I asked seriously.
"Well, I just saw how happy you were and...I thought that, over time, you forgot about me. I thought that you found another reason to keep going..."
"Ashley. I want you to look at me when I say this, alright?"
She looked at me straight in the eyes and gave me her full attention. I...never told her this and I'm glad I did.
"Ashley, I love you with all my heart and there is literally NOTHING that will change that. I will admit, the show did make me feel happy, but that doesn't mean I still won't think about you! You are literally the best thing that has ever happened to me and you are the very reason why I'm still alive. All those time we spent together were the best moments of my life! I love you SO much, Ashley and, like I said before, there is NOTHING that will change that. I will never forget about you, no matter what happens." I say with full satisfaction.
After what I said, Ashley just stands there...dumbfounded about what I just said to her.
"...Daniel." she begins. "That might have been just about the sweetest thing I have ever heard."
Then, she walks closer to me and she gives me probably the best kiss she could offer to me and let me tell you, it felt great to finally do that with her again. We do this for a while...until this happened.
"...Oh no."
"What wrong, Daniel?" she asked with worry.
"I'm waking up! WHY NOW?!?" I yell.
"It's alright, Daniel. I'll still be here waiting for you." she said comfortably.
"...Your the best, you know that?" I said happily.
She blushes and giggles a little bit.
"I know. Now go! They're waiting for you!" she says.
With that being said, I turn around, see a light becoming brighter and brighter and then I see nothing but darkness. My new life in Equestria was about to begin.

This took a lot longer than it should have...
Blame school for this part being so late! Mainly the exams, but whatever.
Anyways, yeah. GET OVER IT. There's a part five and yes, that will be the final part of the prologue. I know I said this will be the final part, but I got a little more creative and...made this. You people BETTER be satisfied with this because I worked HARD on this part.
But, anyway, hope you guys enjoyed it. Expect part five in the near future.

A Princess's Sadness Prologue Part 5-1 Hello Equestria!
I opened my eyes and I saw that I was...in the castle. I looked around and I saw that I was in a bed. It was really comfy, but I still had a few questions. I looked around some more and I saw a piece of paper on the side dresser. I picked it up and looked at it. It was a letter from Celestia.
Hi Daniel.
If you are reading this, then that means you just woke up. We arrived two hours ago. You were still dreaming when we arrived. You must have some questions that are still unanswered. Rest assured, we'll get to that eventually. If you are wondering if you were turned into a pony, no you weren't. Luna and I figured that it would be best if you were still human. It wouldn't be fair to turn you into a pony without your permission.
Anyway, I'm on royal duty right now. I don't have much to do today and I promise that I will get to you as soon as I am done with everything. I should be done by the time you are awake. When you are done reading this letter, meet me in my throne room. You and I have a lot to talk about and I also want to know more about you because we didn't really have that much time to talk when we first met. I really do hope that this decision was a good one because I would feel terrible if this isn't what you really want. Anyways, you know where to meet me and welcome to Equestria. -Celestia P.S: Luna also wants to talk to you, but about other things. She says it's personal and she also says that she'll tell me later about it some time after you two are done talking.
Well this is going to be an interesting day, indeed. I wonder what Luna wants to talk to me about? It doesn't matter, I'm sure I'll be able to handle it.
With that being said, I got up to get dressed. I looked around, again, and I see that my clothes were neatly folded and that my computer was...on a desk. It was plugged in as well.
Okay, that must either be magic or that this room was custom-made. I'm starting to like this already.
I'm just letting you guys know, I never got an answer as to how they did that. Sorry about that...
Anyway, I got dressed and was about to head out the door when I heard a knock on my door. I open it and it was...Derpy.
...God, she's adorable. I thought to myself.
"Hi! Are you Daniel?" she asked me.
"Um...yeah? Are you Derpy?" I asked politely.
She kind of made a face that implies that she's not happy. I didn't know why at first, but then it hit me.
Oh no...
"Did I offend you in anyway because if I did, I'm so sorry."
"...A little bit. I don't really like that name. Call me Ditzy. I like that better." she said, sheepishly.
"Okay, Ditzy. Again, I'm sorry if I offended you."
"It's not your fault. Anyway, I have a letter for you from Twilight Sparkle. She said to get this to you as soon as possible."
...Wait what?
"Interesting. Thank you, Ditzy. Do I need to pay you?" I asked in confusion.
"Nope! Princess Celestia told me to not charge you. Consider yourself lucky, sir." she said.
"...Wow. Thanks again."
"No problem! Well, I best be on my way. Got more mail to deliver. I'll see you around, Daniel!" she said as she was leaving.
"Sounds good! Bye." I respond back.
I close the door and I begin to read the letter.
Dear Daniel,
My name is Twilight Sparkle and the princess informed me of your arrival not too long ago. I can honestly say that this is exciting. I mean, you'll be the first human to walk the face of Equestria! I can't wait to meet you and get to know you! I hope that we can be very good friends and I bet that the rest of my friends will really like you. I told Spike, my assistant about you and he's excited to meet you as well. Anyway, I just wanted to make this letter short because I know you have a long day today and that you're going to be busy with the princesses. Yeah, Celestia told me in the letter as well. So, I hope to meet you soon and welcome to Equestria. -Twilight.
This is turning out to be a great day so far. I'm going to be meeting my favorite pony! She interests me and I've wanted to know more about her as well.
Oh. I have to meet Celestia at the throne room. I almost forgot about that.
With that also being said, I head out the door and make my way to the throne room.
As I'm walking through the castle, I can honestly say that it looks amazing, even though I've already seen it on television. I never would have imagined that it would look this beautiful when you're actually there in the castle. As I was making my way to the throne room, I guess I didn't see where I was going and accidentally bumped into some other pony. I look to see who it is and...it's Blueblood.
God dammit, not him.
"Watch where you're going you moron!" he asked irritated.
Okay, be polite. Don't do anything stupid.
"I'm sorry. I guess I didn't see where I was going." I said, sheepishly.
"Yeah. You better be sorry you stupid ape."
...Really?
"That's kind of rude." I said, politely.
"No one cares! Now I'm starting to wonder why my aunt would bring such a piece of trash into this world..." he said, VERY harshly.
"Why are you insulting me? What did I do to you?" I ask.
"Why should I answer any of your stupid questions? It's obvious that no one ever loved you." he said.
"Okay, I don't even know what your problem is, but I got to go meet your aunt at her throne room. I hope by the mean time that you improve on your attitude." I say as I walking away.
This is where he went way over the line.
"Oh yeah and my aunt told me about your little lover, Ashley. She sounds pretty fucking ugly if you ask me and I bet she was just as retarded as you are. I hope you rot in a hole somewhere you stupid ape!" he yelled.
I stopped dead in my tracks. He said that...he actually said that. I saw some guards have shocked looks on their faces and they knew I was pissed. I turned around and Blueblood was still standing there with that stupid smile on his face.
"What did you just say, YOU FUCKING MULE?!" I screamed out.
Blueblood flinched a little bit and started to look a little worried. He still had that smile on his face, though and that's what pissed me off even more.
"You listen to me and you listen to me GOOD." I began, furious. "You don't even know me, okay? Do you even know what I could do to you right now? I would beat your face in and I wouldn't even give a DAMN how hurt you are! However, I'm not going to do that. You wanna know why? It's because you're just a waste of my fucking time. I bet a filly could beat you up and not even try because that's how weak you are. Do you even care about what your aunt thinks? In fact, does she even KNOW what you're doing to other ponies? I bet she doesn't because you probably beat the crap out of them so that they won't talk and that you won't get in trouble!"
Blueblood just stood there dumbfounded.
"Let me ask you something, BLUEBLOOD. Do you beat mares?" I ask.
"N-No!" he said, stuttering.
"You're LYING! You wanna know how I know you're lying? It's because you're stuttering. Is that another problem with you, Blueblood? Do you have a big stuttering problem? If that's the case, than you need to go back to whatever special school you came from so that you actually learn how to talk like a normal pony!"
"...Y-You will regret saying this to me you ape! I-I will tell my aunt on you and she will PUNISH you for your actions against me!" he said with a smile.
"Oh, is that so? Tell me, how are you going to pull that off with those three guards over there as my witness?" I asked him.
He stood there frozen and with a terrified look on his face.
"Yeah. That's exactly what I thought. I'll make sure that the guards and I will tell your aunt about you and that she will punish you for your acts against me and all the other ponies that you insulted, including Rarity."
"W-WHAT?! How did you know about that?" he asked, terrified.
"I didn't. That's another thing I'll be sure to tell your aunt. Do you know how disappointed in you she'll be once she knows about this?" I ask.
"I would be very disappointed, Daniel."
We both turn around to see Princess Celestia with a very disappointed look on her face.
...You're not disappointed in me, are you? I ask her in my thoughts.
"No, I'm not." she began. "I don't blame you at all for reacting that way, Daniel. I mean, if it was me, I wouldn't react that way, but I would still be angry."
We all stood there in silence for a few minutes until Celestia broke the silence.
"Daniel, go to the throne room. I will take care of Blueblood. In the mean time, I want you to calm down and relax so that we can talk."
"...Okay." I simply said.
As I left, I gave Blueblood a big smile like he did to me.

The Talk with Celestia
What is taking her so long?"
It seriously felt like an hour since that whole incident between Blueblood and I. I know that she was going to talk to Blueblood, but I didn't think it would be this long. Actually, now that I think about it, that's actually understandable. I mean, she didn't even know what he was doing to other ponies and possibly other mares. To be honest, it wouldn't surprise me if he does beat mares that he dates.
Ugh! How much longer?
"You don't have to wait any longer, Daniel." Celestia suddenly said.
"Finally! What was with the long wait? Was the talk with Blueblood a little longer than you thought it would be or was it intended to be that long?" I asked.
"It was intended to be that long. When I said that I would talk to Blueblood, I meant that. I just can't believe that he did that to all those ponies. I mean, I knew his behavior had to be dealt with, but I didn't know that he has been insulting other ponies. I am just...so disappointed in him." Celestia said.
"Was he always like that?" I asked.
"Of course not. He was a very nice when he was younger. I believe it's just that he was spoiled WAY too much."
"Yeah. That can happen."
"...So have you calmed down, Daniel? I mean, you have a very bad temper." Celestia said.
"Yeah I calmed down and I'm sincerely sorry that you had to see me that way. I didn't want you to see that. I mean, believe me, I hate it when I get that out of control." I said, frustrated.
"It's alright. We have our moments." Celestia said.
It was silent for a few minutes.
"So, you wanted to talk to me about something?" I said, breaking the silence.
"Oh yes. Like I said in the letter, I just want to know more about you." Celestia said.
"...Well okay. What do you want to know?" I ask.
"What are you interested in? What did you want to be?"
"...And you want to know everything?" I ask.
"If you want..." Celestia says.
"...Well." I began. "I'm interested in two things: writing and helping people, basically consoling. I've always been interested in writing because I was a decent writer and I always got an A on every English assignment. So, at first, I thought that was going to be my career. I thought I wanted to be a writer. However, I also enjoyed helping people when they were down and I was always there to help them out. So I thought that was going to be my career, but I already decided that I was going to be a writer. That's when I came to a dead end. I wanted to be two things, but I couldn't decide on one thing because I loved doing both. At first, I thought I loved writing more than helping people, then I thought that I loved helping people more than writing. So, basically, I know what I'm interested in, but I still haven't decided what I want to be."
"Well, did you ever think that you could do both of those things at the same time?" Celestia asked.
"...Actually, I did. However, I immediately pushed the thought out of my mind."
"Why?" she asked.
"That's the thing. I don't know. I guess I was just too stressed out. I don't really know. What do you think I should do?" I asked her.
"I think that you should do both. I mean, you love to write and you love to help people. So why don't you do both at the same time. Well, not exactly 'at the same time', but do both is what I'm saying." Celestia said.
"...Actually, you're right. I still don't know why I didn't think of that years ago."
"So, have you decided?"
"I think I did. Thank you." I said happily.
More awkward silence.
"...So is there anything else you want to know?" I asked.
"Well, I already know about Ashley. Tell me about your mother, if you don't mind. I don't really know that much about her."
"No, it's alright." I began. "Well, my mother was a very nice woman. She was basically my role model. She helped me out with a lot of stuff that I was going through and plus, I had some trouble spelling. So, she helped me out with that as well."
I took a deep breath as I was getting to the bad part.
"...Daniel, if you don't want to tell me any more, we can move on to something else." she said with worry.
"No, no. I think you should know this. It was about sometime after I graduated, I believe, and I get the news that my mother was in the hospital. I started freaking out and, since I didn't have a car, I basically ran all the way to the hospital and let me tell you something, it was a LONG run. It literally took me at least twenty minutes to get there. I was surprised that I wasn't that tired. Yeah, I run a lot. It really came in handy at the moment. Anyway, I arrive at the hospital and I ask the doctor what was wrong. He told me that she had cancer and that they couldn't operate because it was way too serious to do anything. So, basically, my mom was going to die. I knew that she wasn't going to live for that long, so I spent every second with my mother until the day she died. When she died on that hospital bed, it felt like a part of me died inside. She was...all that I had left."
"What about your father? Was he even there?"
"Oh don't even get me started on that asshole." I began. "Let me just say this: he's dead to me. He was never there for me. My mom told me that he left when I was just one month old. ONE MONTH OLD, Celestia! My mom also told me that he was nothing but a drunk. He beat my mother, he cheated on her, and he almost tried to kill me. I'm sure that he's rotting in prison right now. I don't care. I literally could care less about him. I told my mom that if he ever stepped foot on the porch, I would make him regret that he even touched her. I would make him regret leaving me and my mother. So, basically, I didn't think about him at all when I was with my mother. I don't even give the slightest damn about him."
"...I'm so sorry, Daniel." Celestia said with care.
"Don't be! I basically lived on without him. In fact, I don't even think I would be here if it wasn't for him. So, I guess I can thank him for not being there. I mean, if he was there, I would be a completely different person. I would probably be the biggest jerk right now. I don't know what would have happened if he was there. All I know, is that I wouldn't be the person that I am today. So...that's the only thing I thank him for. Other than that, I hate his guts. You have NOTHING to be sorry about, Celestia." I reassured her.
"...Okay. Well, look at that. It's time for Luna to raise the moon." Celestia said, looking out the window.
I look out the window and I see the sun setting.
"Yeah, it is. Have we been talking for that long?" I ask.
"Apparently. Well, I guess I have to go now. Remember, Luna wants to talk to you." Celestia reminded me.
"Oh yeah! I forgot about that. Thanks for the reminder!"
"No problem, Daniel. Now, I think you should get going. Luna might be waiting for you."
"Okay. I'll see you around, Celestia." I said.
"Bye, Daniel." Celestia said as I was leaving.
I stop dead in my tracks.
"Wait, where do I meet her?" I ask.
"Meet her in your room. Don't worry, she's just there to talk." Celestia said.
"...Alright. See you later!" I said as I left.
As I was running out of the throne room, again, I start to think what will happen when I get there.
I really hope THAT won't happen...because that would be weird...very, VERY weird.

The Talk with Luna
As I was walking to my room, I still couldn't help but wonder what Luna wants to talk to me about. Is it about the whole Nightmare Moon incident? Is it about something else? I just didn't know. I also wanted to know why she would want to talk to me in my room. At the time, I thought that it would be pretty brief and quick, since I was still a little pissed from that incident with Blueblood. I knew that I had to calm down because I didn't want to talk to Luna feeling angry. She would pick it up and then she would ask me about it and then I would have to tell her about the whole thing. It would get her angry too and it would cause her to not talk and then she would leave.
Okay, CALM DOWN. You're taking this way too seriously! Come on, Daniel. Calm down...calm down.
I take a deep breath and I now felt calm enough to keep going. I make it to my room and I open the door to see Luna crying. This had me worried and I instantly walk over to her to see what was wrong.
"Luna? What's wrong?" I asked, in concern.
"...It's nothing. Maybe I should just...leave." she said as she was getting up to leave.
"No. Sit back down, Luna. If what you want to tell me is causing you to cry, then you need to talk to me about it. Okay?"
"...Okay. I'll stay."
Luna sat back down, but was still crying. I sit next to her and I give her a hug. I kind of figured that she needed it because as soon as I embraced her, she instantly returned the hug. However, it was a little tighter. I hugged her tighter and I let her get it all out. In the process, my shirt got wet. It wasn't anything too bad, though. She just needed to get that out. After a while, she stopped crying, but she still wouldn't let me go.
"...Are you okay? What's wrong?" I asked.
"...I know I should tell you, but I don't know how to say it." Luna said quietly.
"Don't think. Just let it out. Tell me what's wrong." I said in a soothing voice.
"...I just need somepony to talk to and, from what I've seen, you seem to be a good...'person' to talk to. Before I came to get you, I literally had no other pony to talk to. I mean, I had Celestia, but she was always too busy and plus, when I'm attending my duties as Princess of the Night, she would be too tired. I...I just need to talk to...somepony, Daniel. I have a lot of things to get off my chest and I need you to listen to me. Will you listen to me?" Luna asked, sadly.
"Of course I will, Luna. What's the problem?" I asked, soothingly.
"...Well. There's this...stallion I know and...he won't talk to me. I've...had this...very big crush on him and I just don't know how to tell him. What do you think I should say to him, Daniel?" Luna asked me.
"...Well." I began. "I think you should just...talk about how you two have been at first. Then you need to tell that you need to talk to him and that it is important. That's when you tell him how you really feel for him."
"But, what if I mess up? What if I say something stupid?"
"I'm sure that you won't mess up. How can you mess up? You just need to tell him how you feel...and...maybe, ask him out on a date."
Luna blushed. Since she was sad, I thought I would cheer her up, which is something I probably doing. I thought about joking around with her a little bit, since I want to see her smile and giggle a little bit. I really didn't like seeing her with that frown on her face.
"...You really think I could do it?" Luna asked.
"Sure, and maybe you'll get lucky." I said, with a small grin.
"...Lucky? What do you mean?" Luna asked, confused.
"Think about it."
She thinks...and thinks...and then...she instantly breaks the embrace and turns away, covering her face that is crimson red. I start bursting out laughing because of that. I just knew that she would do that. She then starts to giggle a little bit and then she joins me in laughing. We laugh for a little while before she hugs me again. She goes quiet again and is still hiding her face. She was still blushing, but it wasn't as bad as before.
"...You know that I was only kidding, right?"
"I know, Daniel and I appreciate that, but I guess in a way that you may be on to something here." Luna said.
"Really?" I asked, a little surprised.
"Yeah! I mean, I could get lucky and I'll be able to do it again."
"Let's not talk about...THAT, okay and move on with the subject in hand." I said, simply.
"Fair enough. You probably don't know the feeling, anyway..." Luna said.
"Are you kidding? I know the feeling." I said immediately.
"Oh...was it with...her?" Luna asked, curiously.
"Who? Ashley?"
"Yeah. How was it. You don't have to explain if you don't want to..." Luna said.
"I plan not to. However, I will tell you this: It was the best night we've ever had. It felt...just incredible and, at the time, I could tell that I made Ashley very happy because with all that stress she had, she needed it. It was the same thing for me. I needed to do that. I will admit, it's a very good way to relieve stress." I said, blushing a little bit.
"That I can agree with." Luna said.
We sat there in silence for a few minutes before Luna broke the longest embrace I've ever had.
"...So what's his name?" I asked, breaking the silence.
"...My crush?" Luna asked.
"Yeah. Who is he?"
"...I don't remember, exactly."
"Well, I'm sure that you'll remember. When you do, you can tell me." I said.
Once again, silence filled the air.
Man, what's up with these awkward silences?
"I don't know. You tell me." Luna said.
"...Oh yeah, I forgot. You can hear my thoughts. Sorry for forgetting that." I said, sheepishly.
"It's okay. It's not really that important, anyway."
"Yeah. So is there anything else you want to talk to me about?" I asked.
"No. That's about all I wanted to say. I'm not sure if I should tell Tia, though..." Luna said, unsure.
"I really think you should talk to her about it. She even says that you could talk to her anytime. You don't need to be afraid to talk to your own sister about what's on your mind, Luna." I said, reassuring her.
"...You're right. Well, I think I should get going. I need to attend my duties and I also need to leave you to rest for tomorrow."
"Yeah. That would be best. Well, I guess this is good night, then. I said.
"Indeed it is. Good night, Daniel."
"Good night, Luna." I said.
She then got up to leave when I had to say this.
"Remember, you can talk to me about anything at anytime."
"I know. Good night." Luna said as she closed the door.
I was now alone with my thoughts. It has been quite a day, indeed. I got to talk to both of the princesses! Besides that incident with Blueblood, it was a pretty good day. As I start to go deeper into thinking, I start to get tired and my eyes start to get heavy. It was time for me to go to bed. I put on my pajamas and get into bed. Tomorrow is gonna be a good day. I close my eyes and I fall asleep instantly.
The Meeting with Twilight The Next Day
I wake up feeling better than before. I also wake up to see that my door was open. I look to the right side of the bed to see Celestia sitting on a chair reading a scroll. Probably a letter. She noticed that I just woke up and gave a warm smile. Celestia put down the scroll and looked at me and gave me a...lustful look?
"...Um. Hi? What's with the...look?" I ask, in fear.
"Shh, just relax." Celestia said in a lustful tone.
She crawls into my bed and she slowly goes lower and lower down my body.
OH MY GOD. WHAT THE FUCK, WHAT THE FUCK, WHAT THE FUCK, WHAT THE FUCK, WHAT THE FUCK?!?!?!
"Daniel? Daniel! Wake up!"
Huh?
Everything started to disappear and I was starting to actually wake up.
"AAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!" I scream out as I wake up.
I instantly sit up and start panting. I wake up with cold sweat and with the feeling of fear. I look out the window to my left. It was morning.
Wow. That was one fucked up nightmare. Now I know why they call her Molestia...wait. Was it a nightmare?
I pull my covers and look under it. There was no sign of a white alicorn. I sigh in relief.
"Are you okay, Daniel?"
I instantly open my eyes and slowly turn my head to the direction I heard the voice. It was to the right and when I looked to the right, Celestia was there having a worried expression on her face.
"Oh...yeah. I just had a nightmare. I'm fine." I said, reassuring her.
"Luna told me about it." Celestia said.
"...She...she did?"
"Yes and when I heard, I was pretty shocked by it. You don't have feelings for me in...that way, do you?" she asked me.
"What? No! It was just a random nightmare that I had. I mean, I'm gonna be honest with you, I've had nightmares before. However, they didn't even look even close to looking as real as this nightmare. I don't have feelings for you in that way, Celestia. I would never even try to pressure you into doing that." I said.
"...Okay then. Well...today is the day that you meet Twilight. She sent you a letter and I thought that I would deliver it to you personally. That was the scroll I was reading just before I got here. I actually have it with me. Do you want to read it?"
"Um...sure." I said.
Celestia then gave me the letter so I can read it.
"I'll leave you to get ready. When you're done getting dressed, I want you to meet me to the throne room. I'm just going to let you know on what to expect from the ponies in Ponyville." Celestia said.
"Okay then. I'll see you there." I said.
"I will. See you in a little bit, Daniel."
"Okay." I said.
Celestia walks out and closes the door, leaving me with the letter.
Let's have a look here, shall we?
I open the scroll and begin reading...
Dear Daniel,
Today is the day! Oh boy, I can't wait to meet you! I actually have plans for us to do today, that is if you're up to it. I'll talk to you about that when you get here. I don't know what to say, honestly. All I have to say is: I'm just so excited! Come on, get ready and get here already! The excitement is killing me, Daniel. I really want to get to know you, but I can't do that if you're not here in Ponyville!
Speaking of Ponyville, I told everypony here and, I'll admit, they were nervous about the fact that you were coming. Like I said before, you will be the first human to walk the face of Equestria. Think about it: everypony would want to know more about your species and when I say 'everypony', I mean mostly me!
Anyway, everypony in Ponyville will be expecting you and possibly Princess Celestia to get here soon! I can't wait to meet you! I know I've said that a lot, but it's true! I'm not trying to rush you or anything, but hurry up! -Twilight

That's all I could say, to be honest. I kind of felt like a celebrity for a second there. It was like I was a famous music artist or something and Twilight is one of my 'biggest fans'. I started giggling and I couldn't seem to stop for a minute there. Right now, I had to go meet Celestia at the throne room for another talk. I guess, this time, it's going to be brief. So after I was done reading the letter, I get dressed and I head out the door.
I wonder if Lyra has a big interest in humans. I'd really like to know that.
I make my way to the throne room and I see...Blueblood, AGAIN. This time, he just stops and gives me this look of anguish and anger. I didn't care. I just kept walking. I made it clear that the next time he does that again, he's pretty much done. I mean, come on, have you seen him? Do you remember the Grand Galloping Gala episode? His voice, his looks, just everything about him just annoys me.
Let it go, Daniel. He's not worth it.
I make it to the throne room and I see Celestia sitting on her throne reading more scrolls. I'm guessing that they were letters or something because, so far, that's all they were used for in the cartoon. As I'm about to walk up to her throne, two of the guards step in front of me. I realized why.
"...Oh. Sorry. Is this a bad time?" I asked.
Celestia took notice and she smiled.
"Of course not. I'm just reading one of my letters. It will only be a few minutes."
I look at the guards. I don't know why, but I kind of giggled at their armor, but not to insult them or anything. One of the guards took notice and he looked kind of annoyed by it.
"Sorry. Did I offend you?" I asked nicely.
"Yes, you did actually."
"I apologize. It was rude of me."
I then wait patiently for a little while longer before Celestia was done reading the scroll.
"Can you two wait outside for a bit and guard the doors? Daniel and I need to talk about a few things." Celestia told the two guards.
They both gave a simple nod and left the throne room. Once the doors were closed, I gave Celestia my full attention.
"Now, Daniel, I want to ask you something and don't be offended by this." Celestia said.
"...Alright? Ask."
"Why were you giggling?"
I knew that was coming.
"Well, it's just the armor they were wearing. I mean, I've seen that kind of armor before. However, I've only seen it in my local museum." I said, sheepishly.
"I see." Celestia said.
"...So what did you really want to talk to me about?" I asked, trying to change the subject.
"Oh yes. I wanted to talk to you about the ponies in Ponyville. They might be a little...nervous around you. Just be very polite to the ponies and just...don't scare any of them." Celestia informed me.
"I won't." I said.
"Okay. Now, I think you should get going because I think Twilight has waited long enough."
"I agree. So I guess that I go outside and there will be some sort of transportation waiting for me?" I asked.
"Yes." Celestia said.
"Okay, then. So I guess I'll see you later?"
"Maybe. If you decide you want to stay, then you can come back and get your stuff."
"I already got my stuff. I still want to keep my room, though. You know, just in case I want to come back."
"I understand, Daniel. Now, get going. She's waiting. Have a good time." Celestia said with a smile.
"I will. Bye!" I said as I left.
The doors open, I grab my stuff and I make my way outside.
Today is going to be a great day...
The transportation was awesome! I got a good view of the mountains and the Everfree Forest from there. While I was in the carriage, I couldn't help but feel excited. I get to meet all the ponies in Ponyville and, best of all, I get to meet Twilight Sparkle for the first time! She's always been an interesting pony and I always wanted to get to know her more. Then, I see it. I see Ponyville. When Ponyville was in sight, they descend and the excitement kept increasing as we got closer to the ground.
This it it, Daniel!
We finally land. I could see that every pony took notice and started to form a crowd. I kept hearing talking from the ponies, but I guess they figured that I would be saying something, so they went quiet. At first, I got confused. Then I noticed why they went quiet. So I quickly think of what to say to them.
Don't think. Just say it.
"Hi everypony!" I began. "My name is Daniel Harrington and let me say, it's a pleasure meeting all of you today. Princess Celestia told me that you would be a little nervous of my arrival. I just want to make this clear; I will not hurt any of you and I have no thoughts or intentions of doing so. You have no reason to be nervous nor do you have no reason to be afraid of me. If any of you have any questions, you can ask. Don't worry, you ask me anything and I won't be offended."
I wait for a pony to raise their hoof to ask me a question. It wasn't long until a pony finally offered me a question. I point to her and give her the signal to ask the question. I got a good look at her and I'm pretty sure it was Lyra.
"What are you, exactly?" she asked simply.
"Good question! I am a human. Have any of you ever heard of a human before? If so, can you tell me how you know?" I ask the crowd.
I didn't see anypony raise their hoofs.
"That's okay. I'll tell more about humans later, but for now, I just want to say that I'm very happy to be here with all of you and I hope we can be good friends." I said, concluding my speech.
I step out of the carriage and I see the crowd dispersing. As the crowd dispersed, I look around and see that Pinkie Pie wasn't around.
Weird. She usually comes out of nowhere and does her little thing for ponies who are new around here. Hm...I'm still gonna watch my back, though. That pony is random...very, VERY random and that's why she makes me laugh.
Every time I think of Pinkie Pie, I always laugh a little bit and smile.
"...Daniel?"
I look down and I see...Twilight.
"...Twilight Sparkle?"
"Yeah! It's great to finally meet you!" she says with joy.
"Yep. It's good to meet you too!"
"...So um, do you have your stuff with you because, you know, you need a place to stay...and...stuff." she says, sheepishly.
"Yes I do, actually. Maybe after I get settled in, you could show me around. You know, give me the grand tour on Ponyville." I suggested.
"That's a great idea, Daniel! Now, come on. We have a lot to do, today!"
"Sounds like a plan." I said.
Twilight gives me the signal to follow her and that's when I grabbed my stuff and went the direction she went. It actually didn't take that long at all to get to the library. In fact, it was literally a few steps away. We make it there and she was about to open the door...
"Allow me, Twilight."
I open the door and I step to the side.
"Ladies first." I said with a smile.
"Thank you, Daniel!" she says with a big grin.
"No problem."
We get inside the library and it looked just like her library on T.V. It was so cool to actually be there. I hear a door open and I look to see where it came from. It was coming from Twilight's bedroom door. It was Spike.
"Oh. Hi Spike." Twilight said.
Spike then looked at me and he had a nervous look on his face. I expected that.
"...Is this Daniel?" Spike asked, nervously.
"Yes it is, actually. Daniel, this is Spike. He's my number one assistant."
"It's nice to meet you, Spike." I said, politely.
I pull out my hand for a hand shake. He was hesitant at first, but he eventually shook my hand. Twilight and I noticed how nervous he was and I thought it would be a good time to calm him down a little bit.
"Spike, there's nothing to be nervous about. I won't hurt Twilight, if that's what you're worried about, and I won't hurt you. You have nothing to be nervous about nor do you have anything to be afraid of. I promise you that." I said, reassuring Spike.
"...Okay, but don't do anything you'll regret." Spike warned me.
"I won't." I said.
Spike then gave me a little smile and went to Twilight to see what he needed to do. Twilight told him that he didn't have anything to do today. So, Spike was free for the day and he thought it would be a good time to go to Rarity's for the day. Spike left and now it was just the two of us...alone.
"Don't worry about Spike. He really is a nice guy and he really does want to get to know you better. Just give him some time." Twilight said.
"I know. I figured that this would happen and I'm not really that worried."
"That's good. So what do you want to do now?" Twilight asked.
"I'm just gonna put my stuff somewhere and then, we can go on that tour I suggested." I said.
"Oh yeah. Just put your stuff upstairs and we'll figure out what else to do later."
"Okay then. Sounds like a plan, I guess." I said, sheepishly.
"Alright then. I'll meet you outside." Twilight said.
She then walked outside and closed the door, waiting for me.
Today keeps getting better and better...
I take this time to look around. It was still pretty cool to say the least. I mean, I'm in Equestria, starting my new life, and I got to meet all the ponies in Equestria, including Twilight. As these thoughts ran through my head, I take my stuff upstairs and I head my way to the door. I open the door and walk outside to see Twilight sitting there waiting. She took notice of my arrival and gave me a smile.
"You ready?" Twilight asked.
"Yep. Let's get going." I said.
"Alright. Let's go!" Twilight said as we started walking.
For the rest of the time, Twilight showed me around the town and it was pretty fun spending time with her. We talked, we laughed, it was a fun time. After that, she introduced me to all of her friends. When I met Rarity, she had this look on her face that looked familiar. Yeah, another familiar look. I've seen all kinds of looks from other girls, but that's not the point. The point I'm trying to make here is that she...was really flirty. The reason that I say that is because she was making all these compliments like how funny I was and how nice I was. She even gave me 'hints', if you know what I mean. I'm not going into detail about that because I don't really feel too comfortable talking about those things. Well, besides that talk I had with Luna, but that was completely different!
MOVING ON!
Besides all the flirty stuff that Rarity did, she was really nice. I'm actually going to be honest, she knew what she was doing. I actually knew a few girls back of Earth that did that sort of thing and they were pretty good at it. I mean flirting, not...THAT. Anyway, it was a good day. All of Twilight's friends were very nice, besides Rainbow Dash. I mean, she was nice and all, but she was really cocky and I don't really like that. So we said hi, we talked, she showed a couple of her 'new' moves, and then we went our separate ways.
"SURPRISE!!!!!!"
It was a Welcome to Ponyville party! I felt pretty surprised, but yet I saw this coming as well. I knew that something like this would happen. I mean, it's Pinkie Pie. It wouldn't feel right if she didn't throw me a little welcome party.
"What a day, huh?" I ask.
"Yeah...it was a great day. I'm pretty tired from that party." Twilight admitted.
"So am I. Every pony was pretty much going crazy. We danced, we pretty much went wild. It was great." I said.
We both let out a big yawn and that was the signal for the both of us that it was time for us to go to sleep. We both crawl into our beds and Twilight turns out the lights. Before I went to sleep, I just had to say this to Twilight.
"Hey Twilight?" I called out.
"Yeah?"
"It feels great to finally meet you."
"Yeah. Well, I'm gonna get some sleep. Good night, Daniel."
"Good night, Twilight." I said, getting more tired.
I swear, as soon as Twilight said that, she was passed out. I couldn't help but giggle a little bit. I start to get more tired and I feel my eyes getting heavy. So, I close my eyes and fall asleep.
I love being here already.

A Princess's Sadness Chapter 1
It was a few days after Twilight's ceremony and her new transformation. I thought I would pay her a visit today since I haven't seen her in a couple days. So I make my way over to the castle and when I got there, I happen to stumble across Celestia.
"Good morning Daniel." she said nicely. "How are you?"
"Morning Princess Celestia. I'm doing pretty good."
"What brings you here this early in the morning?" Celestia asked.
"I just wanted to pay Twilight a visit. I haven't seen her in a couple days. Is she alright?" I ask nicely.
She then had a look on her face that I didn't want to see: sadness. That's when I started to get worried and I knew that something was wrong with Twilight and I then wanted to know what was going on.
"Is there something wrong with Twilight your majesty?" I worriedly asked.
"She never told me." Celestia began. "She won't come out of her room and she won't talk to anypony, not even me."
Now I was really getting worried. This didn't sound like Twilight at all. I think that she would at least talk to the princess what is wrong and what was bothering her. I think it was time for me to step in and try to solve this situation.
"Do you think I could go talk to her?" I asked. "I think she would want me to talk to if she doesn't want to talk to any other pony."
"I...I suppose you could try to see what is wrong with my student." she said. "Her room is upstairs."
"Thank you. I'll try to see what is wrong with her and try to bring her back onto her hooves again." I said.
"Please do so Daniel." she began with worry. "I hate to see her this sad and it pains me to not know what is wrong with her."
She then left and I made my way to Twilight's room. It took me forever to get up there, but I finally get to Twilight's room. I knocked on the door and didn't hear anything at first. I knocked again and still got nothing.
"Twilight? Are you okay?" I ask her.
All I heard from her was sniffles.
"Twilight. It's Daniel! Are you alright?"
Still no response from her.
"Come on Twilight! You have to talk to me. Can I please come in?" I ask her politely.
"Not now Daniel!" She finally said.
This is definitely not the Twilight I know. She usually doesn't turn me down. There was something seriously wrong with her and I wasn't going to leave until she talks to me.
"Twilight, this is Daniel your talking to! I told you that no matter what problem you have and how serious it is, I will always be there to comfort you! Now please let me in." I said
"You wouldn't understand Daniel!" she yelled.
This started to piss me off. She will not do this to me.
"Twilight, there is something seriously wrong with you and I want to know what it is that is bothering you! You will NOT push me away and drown in your sorrow!" I yelled. "All I want to do is try my best to help you what ever it is that is bothering you Twi. You know that I won't just walk away and give up. If it's that serious, then you need to tell me and you need to do it now!"
No response.
"...Twi?" I call out in worry.
"...Are you sure you want to come in here? My room is all messy and I look terrible!" she said.
"Twi, you know that I don't care about that type of thing. Like I said before, all I want to do is help you with whatever problem you are facing right now." I told her.
"...Can you promise not to tell anypony, other than the princess?" she asked.
"I promise."
"Pinkie Pie promise?" she asked.
I chuckled a little bit that the fact that I had to do it. Oh well, anything for Twilight.
"Cross my heart and hope to fly, stick a cupcake in my eye!" I said.
"...Alright Daniel. You can come in. But, like I said before, my room and my mane is really messy."
Thank god. I thought.
A purple aura then appears around the door, indicating that Twilight was using her magic to open the door. What I saw was shocking. She was right, it WAS a complete mess. Trash was on the floor, tissues were overflowing the trash bin and pile of books were stacked in the left corner near her bed, neatly. But that's not what shocked me the most. What really shocked me the most was Twilight.
Her mane was a mess, she had bags under her eyes, and she had the most saddening look on her face. Oh my god, her face. I have never seen her this sad before. It actually made me sad just by looking at her. I could tell that she was bottling a lot inside her and she looks like she could start crying any second now.
"Twily. What's wrong?" I asked with deep concern.
She then gave that look again and I actually started to tear up a little bit. But I kept my ground and waited for an answer. After a few minutes of her crying in my arms, she was calm enough to tell me what was troubling her.
"I don't want this!" she yelled.
"Twily, slow down. What don't you want?" I asked.
"I don't want to be an alicorn! I don't want to be a princess! I DON'T WANT THIS!!" she screamed.
She started to cry again, but she was crying even louder this time and more tears started to come down from her eyes.
"I didn't realize that this would hit you this hard Twilight. I'm so sorry." I said.
We just sat there in silence for a good ten minutes before I finally broke the silence.
"Hey Twi?"
"Yes Daniel?"
"Do you want me to get you anything?" I asked.
"...Some water would be great right now." she said.
"Okay. I'll be right back." I said.
I was about to head out the door when Twilight stopped me for another hug.
"Thank you for being here Daniel. Your a great friend." she told me.
"That's what friends are for Twi. I'll be back in a little while." I told her.
I than gave her a heart-warming smile and then left the room. I just can't believe at what I just heard. I never thought that Twilight would be THIS upset with the whole transformation thing. I tried to think of what I should do, but I couldn't think of anything.
This is going to be a long day... I thought to myself as I walk out of the castle with thoughts racing through my head.

A Princess's Sadness Chapter 2
No matter gain or grim It's those tiny little sparks In daily life that makes me Forget my wounded heart.
Remember when I said I walked out of the castle? Yeah, I didn't leave the castle. I just went to the cafe to get Twilight some water, since it is the drink that she asked for. I mean, all that crying she did, it might have made her a little dehydrated because of all the tears that were going down her face. I can't blame her, it's happened to me before. You know, before I came here...
"Hey Luna. What's with the frown?" I asked.
"Oh...hey Daniel. It's nothing. I still can't remember my crush's name." Luna said sadly.
I noticed how depressing that sounded.
"Hey, don't get depressed over it. You'll remember eventually. If you really can't remember his name, then tell me what he looks like and I'll see if he sounds familiar." I said.
"...Thanks, Daniel. Oh and one more thing, is Twilight Sparkle alright? I heard crying a few minutes ago and why is your shirt soaking wet?" Luna asked, worried.
"Twilight isn't doing very good and my shirt being soaking wet is from her crying. That's why I'm bringing her some water because I figured that she would be dehydrated from the amount of tears that were running down her face. You really don't have to worry about anything. I got it all under control. I'll tell you and Celestia about it, if she'll allow me." I said.
"...Well. Okay then. I'll see you later, I guess." Luna said, walking away.
"Oh...okay. Bye Luna..."
I then make my way back to Twilight's room. I had a few questions running through my head. Some of them were about Luna, but it was mostly about Twilight. I still couldn't get her face out of my mind. She looked...horrible. I mean, don't get me wrong, she's not ugly, not even close to that. It's just the face she made, it just broke my heart a little bit. I literally haven't seen a look like that for years. I don't exactly remember who, but I do know it was one of my 'friends'. Yeah, it didn't really work out. I tried helping him, but it wasn't any good. It resulted in him being sent to a mental hospital. Poor guy, I still feel bad for him. I think his name was John. He was a nice guy. He was the only real friend I remember having. Other than that, I didn't really have that many friends back on Earth.
"...Twilight?"
I call out her name, but I didn't get a response. I figured that she was hiding, so I looked for her.
How long was I gone? I don't remember being gone for that long. It only felt like a few minutes! Calm down, Daniel. You'll find her...
I look in her closet. She's not there.
Dear Daniel,
If you are reading this, then that means I'm gone. Now, don't worry, I'm not running away. I'm just going to fly around and get some fresh air. I figured that's what I should do since I haven't been out of my room for a long while now. I really do appreciate what you are doing for me. When I get back, I'll tell you what's wrong. For now, walk around the castle for a while. Just make sure you don't walk around for too long. So, basically, I'll be back in a little bit. -Twilight
Oh, thank you. I didn't want to go on a hunt for you...
"Well, good thing you didn't have to..."
I turn around and I see Princess Celestia just outside the door.
"Oh, hi Celestia. You kind of scared me for a second there. Is there anything wrong?" I asked.
"Hi Daniel. There is nothing wrong. I just heard crying up hear earlier. What was going on?" Celestia asked.
"Oh. That was Twilight. She didn't tell me what's wrong with her, exactly, but she'll tell me eventually." I said, informing her.
"Will you tell me after you two are done talking?" Celestia asked.
"I think it will be better if she told you, but I think I need to convince her to do it because she's really hesitant in telling you what the problem is."
"...Alright. Where is she, exactly?" Celestia asked, curious.
"She went outside to fly around. You know, to get some fresh air."
"I see. Well, when Twilight gets back, make sure that you tell her that I'm here for her and that she can talk to me about anything. Can you do that?"
"Yeah, sure."
"Good. Well, I need to get back to the throne room. I'll see you later, Daniel."
"Okay. Bye, Celestia." I said as she was leaving.
Celestia closed the door and went back to the throne room. I figured that, since Twilight won't be back for a while, I might as well lay down on the bed and take a short nap.
One Hour Later...
I wake up and I see that it's still sunny out. I look at the clock on the wall and it says it's 3:30 p.m.
"Did you have a good nap?"
I look behind me and I see Twilight sitting on a chair, reading a book.
"Um...yeah I did, actually. When did you get back?" I asked.
"Ten minutes ago. I didn't want to wake you up, so I sat and read a book, waiting for you to wake up. Thanks for the water by the way. I really needed it." Twilight said.
"You're welcome. So...have you calmed down?" I asked.
"Yeah. Why?"
"I still need to know what's going on, Twi. What's the problem?"
Twilight then put down the book, took a deep breath and began talking.
"Well," she began. "At first, I was so happy to be a princess. However, I started thinking about how long Celestia and Luna have been living and...and then a question came into mind. What if I outlive my friends? It's the kind of thing that I never want to think about, but the thought always comes back into mind everyday. Now, it's all I think about and it's causing me not to do a single thing, besides laying in bed and/or reading books. I...I just don't want to lose my friends, Daniel."
"...So basically, you're worried about how long you will live and that you might outlive your friends?" I asked.
"Pretty much, yeah. What do you think I should do?" Twilight asked.
"Spend a lot of time with your friends." I said simply.
"Yeah, I know, but what if I'm busy?"
"If you're free, then spend the day hanging out with your friends. If you finish up early, then spend the rest of the day with your friends."
"What if it takes me almost the whole day to finish my work?" Twilight asked.
"Well, since it might be night time, then you can just spend some time with me. That is, if you're not tired from working."
"When I finish my work, it's usually close to sun set. Sometimes I finish around the time when Luna raises the moon."
"Either way, you can either spend some time with me or with your other friends." I suggested.
"...There's also something else I've been thinking about. The thought crossed my mind when I was flying around."
"Okay. Tell me what it is." I said, listening.
"...What if you die before I do?" Twilight asked.
Oh no...
She then started to tear up. That's when I got up from the bed, walked over to her and hugged her.
"Twi, I don't want you to have these thoughts."
"I know you don't, Daniel! I just can't help but think about my friends, especially you. Out of all the ponies I've ever met, you are the greatest friend I've ever had, including my other friends in Ponyville. I just...don't want to lose you!" Twilight said, crying.
"...Wait. What do mean by that? What are you trying to say?"
"I'm saying...I love you very much, Daniel." Twilight said.
I was shocked. I sat there, frozen in place. I stay like that for a good five minutes until a thought crossed my mind.
Is this the main reason why she's sad?
"...Twi. Is this...is this the real reason why you've been so sad?" I asked.
"...Yes." Twilight confessed.
"...How long have you had these feelings?"
"Remember that talk we had three months ago?"
"Yeah. Why?" I asked.
"That was when I got the feeling." Twilight said.
"Are you sure it's love that you're feeling? Can you...describe it to me because I know what love feels like." I said/asked.
"...Well." she began. "It's...something I just can't describe, Daniel. Ever since that talk we had three months ago, I just couldn't get you off my mind. I miss you all the time and, sometimes, I even had...dreams about you."
"Whoa whoa whoa, dreams? What kind of dreams?" I asked, curiously.
Twilight blushed, then whispered it into my ear. As soon as she told me that, I broke the embrace and just...blushed crimson red. I'm not joking, if you were to see my face, it would be completely red. I knew Twilight saw my face because she was giggling.
"...Well. That's really something." I said, still blushing.
"So...do you think it's love?" Twilight asked.
"Oh yeah, that's love."
"Have you had the same feelings for me, Daniel?" she asked, in a curious tone.
My heart stopped. I don't know why. I mean, honestly, I knew that question was coming. However, I didn't know she would asked me that soon. When I calmed down a little bit, I turned to Twilight. She was still giggling a little bit because I was still blushing a little bit.
"...I'm not sure." I said.
Twilight then had a frown on her face. She also had a confused look on it as well.
"Hey, I'm not implying that I never had feelings over you. I'm just...not sure if this is actually love or not. I know I've told you that I know what love feels like, but I don't know if this feeling IS love. I just don't know, yet." I said.
I saw her head droop.
"...I get it."
I looked at her with suspicion.
"...You do?" I said.
"Yes...you don't like me anymore because of what I said." Twilight said, looking at me with anger.
...No.
"...Twi. Don't say that. Of course I care about you! Why do you think I came all the way from Ponyville to see you, huh? What? Is it just because I fucking felt like it? NO, THAT'S NOT IT. That's because I care about you a lot and I don't want to see anypony sad and depressed, especially you. You know me well enough that I would never stop caring about you. EVER. Now-"
"SHUT UP! LIES!" Twilight said, covering her ears with her hoofs.
...This can't be happening.
"...Twilight, wh-"
"GET OUT!!" Twilight screamed. "GET OUT AND NEVER COME BACK! YOU NEVER CARED ABOUT ME AND YOU KNOW IT!! GET. OUT."
I looked at her with utter shock. I then gave her a look of pity.
"...Fine."
She then looked at me.
"Wh...what?"
"I said FINE. If you want me to leave, then I'll leave and never bother you again." I said.
She stared at me for a long time.
"...Fine. Go."
"...So this is it, huh? We've only known each other for SEVEN MONTHS and we already know everything about each other. I know you well enough that-"
"STOP!" Twilight screamed.
"NO. I WON'T STOP."
"WHY CAN'T YOU ACCEPT THE FACT THAT I DON'T WANT YOU HERE ANYMORE?! LEAVE AND NEVER COME BACK! IT'S LIKE I SAID BEFORE, YOU NEVER CARED ABOUT ME." Twilight screamed.
...This can't be happening.
"...Are you really going to let our relationship go out the window...AFTER ALL WE'VE BEEN THROUGH?!?!" I screamed.
Twilight flinched.
"I know you damn well enough that you need me right now, but if you want me gone, then I'll leave! Don't come crying to me when you're hurt because you know what you just did? YOU BLEW IT. I care about you, but you need to get your FUCKING ACT TOGETHER!" I said.
I turn around and leave the room, heartbroken.
The Fight
I reach the main floor of the castle, in tears. Luna comes walking by, which is something I did not want right now. She was about to speak to me, but I walked too quickly for her to even say anything. I was in complete rage and tears. I then see the exit. I walk my fastest to it.
"You see you idiot?! You caused this to happen!"
I stop dead in my tracks. I turned around. It was Blueblood.
"Blueblood, not now!" I yelled.
"Aw, what's the matter. Did the little monkey get his heart broken again? HA! I could laugh for ages at you. Look at you! You're pathetic, weak and DOWN-RIGHT STUPID! When will you ever learn that you don't need to be here. You're a disgrace to us! Even my aunt Celestia says so, especially my aunt Luna." Blueblood.
"YOU'RE LYING!" I scream.
"I'm only but telling you the cold truth, Daniel. It's the truth and you know it! I can't wait to see what Twilight truly has to say about you. Besides, she's not really the smartest mare out there anyway. Have you seen her lately? UGH, I could almost vomit! She's just down-right pathetic and you only made it worse! Now, I'm gonna have to laugh at her even more for being the biggest failure to ponykind! See you later, you dumb monkey!" Blueblood said, spitting on the ground.
I stand there, utterly speechless. I then feel something literally BURNING.
Oh no, not this again.
My vision begins to blur. I was blacking out, but I forced myself not to because I wanted to remember what I was about to do. I walked towards Blueblood. Then ran. Then sprinted. Blueblood turned around, taking notice, and he jumped and started running for his dear life. Holy shit was he a fast runner, but not that much. He then started laughing at me. That only made me angrier and made me run faster. I eventually caught to him, tackled him to the ground. I then look at him with the biggest amount of fury I could possibly manage. I then clench my fists. Blueblood then realized what I was about to do and was about to call for help. I was quicker then him. A LOT quicker. I punched him right in the jaw the second he opened his mouth. I kept doing this for about a half an hour. I threw my last punch and stop. I get up from the ground and look at Blueblood. He was crying like the little bitch that he is. I then kicked him in the stomach five times until he just laid there, whimpering. I take a few deep breaths and calm down enough to speak.
"That's what happens when you get a human to their absolute breaking point. Humans are very violent creatures, but can be the most harmless. That was a pure example of why you shouldn't fuck with a human like that, especially me. I'm warning you right now, if you even so much as lay a single hair on Twilight, I will find you and do the exact same thing I just did to you, but a lot worse. That's not only a promise, but a warning and a threat. You can tell Celestia about it. I don't care. She won't care and neither will the guards. You want to know why? It's simple, they're getting sick and tired of your fucking bullshit. Do you even know how to respect a mare? Probably not.
HA! And you call me the weak one. You think that hurt? Just wait until the next time I beat you to a pulp. There better not be a next time because, bitch, I will send you to the hospital with broken bones and a broken jaw. You can have my word on it." I conclude.
I turn around and was about to walk, but I see five guards standing there, in complete awe. I just smile and walk by, putting my hand on one of their shoulders. I also see Princess Celestia. She gave me a disappointed look and I didn't like it.
"Don't look at me like that. You know just as well as I do that he deserved that beating. Don't come up with any of your shitty sayings that you say to your guards or Twilight. As a matter of fact, I'm done talking to her. You can go up there now. She can tell you everything. I'm done. Don't ever come to me for help, because I've had enough. I'm through. I'm going back to Ponyville and think about if I've made a good decision of even coming here because, honey, I don't think I ever did. You can thank yourself for losing the best thing that has ever happened to Twilight; the love of her life." I said.
I leave Celestia heartbroken and saddened. I walk out of the castle and make my way to the train station. I get to the train station and wait for the train to Ponyville. I waited for at least an hour before the train arrived.
"DANIEL, WAIT!" Twilight screamed.
I ignored her. I look at the ring that she gave me two months ago. It was the symbol of our friendship. We didn't have one. I took it off, put it on the ground and got on the train.
"DANIEL, PLEASE LISTEN TO ME!"
I turned around and said these words that I will never forget: "...No. It's over. Goodbye, Twilight." I said.
The train doors close and I leave Twilight in utter tears and sorrow. I turn to sit and I see other mares and a few stallions giving me a confused look.
"WHAT?!" I asked, screaming.
They instantly go back to what they were doing. I then took a deep breath and tried to calm down. I then find an empty seat and sit down, looking out the window with the feeling of extreme sorrow and sadness.
...What have I done?

Three Weeks Later...
I've been laying around in my house in Ponyville for that long, not wanting to go outside. I couldn't believe she would do that to me, after all I have done for her. I cared for her, comforted her when she needed me and this is the thanks I get. It's nothing new to me, though. I have had people do this to me before. I would usually do what I would always do when they shut me out of their life; not care for them anymore. Twilight is different. She needs me and she knows it. That's why I've been receiving letters from her everyday for those three weeks. I would instantly throw them away, but why would I do that? Well, for starters, she basically said that she didn't want me in her life anymore, even though she said she "loved me way too much." Still...I think I could have done that more properly. I still call myself an idiot for ignoring her for that long. I've never done that before. It wasn't like me to do that to a person.
When I got home that day, I cried for the rest of the day, alone. I needed somepony to comfort me, but I didn't have Twilight or Luna or anypony. I was alone again. It was coming back to me. The suicidal thoughts. The thoughts of suicide actions were coming back, but a whole lot worse. I felt terrible and I was in a terrible state of mind. However, what really pushed me over the edge is what I got in the mail one day; a letter from Luna. Here's what the letter was:
Dear Chris,
By the time you read this, then Princess Twilight Sparkle will be in the Crystal Empire, taking a long vacation. You need to listen to me and Tia both. We sent you here to get away from what you were going through on your home plant and we are not going to sit here and let you ignore us any longer. If you do not comply, then we have no choice but to consult with you in person. You are better than this. Even Shining Armor and Princess Cadence says that you are a better person than this. Twilight cries out for your very name, Daniel. She loves you with her very heart and we know you do too. You care for her just as much as you did with Ashley. You need to stand up and be the man that you are. Do not let your heart crumple up and turn into stone. You need to go to Twilight and say your sorry for what you have done to her.

"...Say your sorry? SAY YOUR SORRY?!" I screamed.
I was outraged. I knew that one day that I would get a letter that would make me reply to. Here is what I replied with:
Are you kidding me? I'M the one that needs to apologize? She's the one that needs to do the apologizing. She has said to me that she didn't want me in part of her life anymore! So, I'm only granting her wishes and I told her to not come crying to me, saying she's sorry for what she has said because I told her that it's over and that is going to stay that way. If you can't realize that I'm the one that is more hurt than she is, then I pity both you and Tia. Until you can actually send me a decent message giving a more proper excuse to come back to Canterlot, we are DONE. Let me write that again, but two more times: WE'RE DONE AND WE'RE DONE.

I finish writing the letter, walk outside and tell Ditzy to send this to Princess Luna. She then flew away. I then walk back inside and wait for her reply.
Two Days Later...
While I was waiting for Luna's reply, I decided to go shopping around the market, since I was running out of food and the fact that I had enough bits to spend. I walk to Ponyville and I get a few stares. Nothing special. Ponies were still getting used to me being here and I understood that. Usually, I would wave and that would make them smile, especially the mares that had the hots for me. Well, that's at least what I've heard from Roseluck. Yeah, we started talking and I was beginning to like her a little bit. No, I wasn't falling in love with her. She was just somepony that I could talk to in the mornings. We were neighbors at the time and I honestly loved the stories that she told me. They were pretty funny. To think that she was just some ordinary background pony, like I saw in the show back on Earth, and to actually meet her and find out that she's a lot more interesting than many people think. She's actually pretty cute too. She would give me winks every now and then, just to tell me hello if she didn't really want to talk or anything like that.
So, anyway, I make my way to town and I actually bump into Rarity. She didn't give me the usual wink that she always give me whenever she sees me. Oh no, she actually talked to me. That was a shock. She was usually too shy to talk to me, which is a surprise I know. Guys, you have to understand, I'm in Equestria and the ponies that you know from the show are not the same as the ones I know here. Rarity is a little shy when it came to talking to me, which is something I was confused about. I asked her why and...her answer kind of turned me on.
"Well, it's simple darling! You're way too cute, well for a different species that is. I wouldn't really mind you coming over and 'giving me some company', if you know what I mean."
...I know. She's more...slutty then she is in the show. Well, I wouldn't exactly say "slutty". I would say more..."lustful". She REALLY had the hots for me and...I swear, I gave the best reply I could offer to her. I had to whisper it in her ear.
"I'll come over some time to give you 'a massage'."
She blushed crimson red and told me that she would love that. I honestly would too. Have you seen her ass?
OH GOD, LET'S MOVE ON.
After talking with Rarity, I buy some apples, celery, and a few apple pies. It didn't cost me that much, believe or not. I get my stuff and make my way back to my place. It took me a while, but I finally get there and I see that my flag wasn't up yet. That's when I realized something: what if I went too far? What if I really did push Luna and Celestia over the edge? What if that WAS the reason why I had to go back?
"...Oh god...I need to get to Rarity's place and get that massage over with." I said to myself.
I know, I know! I really did realize that I went too far, but I wanted to have some fun before I had to go back to Canterlot. You know what I decided? I decided to go there...AT NIGHT. That was pretty clever of me to do, since Sweetie Belle is asleep and that fact that I can find a way to make girls moan very quietly, but make them feel like a queen and that's very hard to do. Thank Ashley for that.
That night was FUN. We did things that I never would have even thought of! First, a little oral. Then, the good old inner course! The oral is actually my favorite part. I don't why. I guess I get that from my dad, but I don't know...
So, the next morning, I had to explain to her that I had to go back to Canterlot so that I could see Twilight. She gave me her puppy eyes to stay a little longer and so that we can have "Morning Fun", which is something I've never done before. She said it was to fully wake up a stallion from last night and, holy shit, it sure woke me up.
It was mostly oral. I did the ABCs to her and gave me 'head'. Best. Morning. Ever. Before I left, I thought I would be a nice guy...and give her a nice kiss on the lips.
"...Thank you. I had a lot of fun last night, Daniel. I REALLY hope we get to do this again sometime because, my oh my, you are a machine, darling!" Rarity said, with lust.
"Yeah, I know I can be. This was actually a great morning too. Thanks a lot for that! It really woke me up." I said.
"Oh, it's no trouble at all. I know you needed it, since you are going to go see Twilight." Rarity said.
We then said our goodbyes and I left Rarity, feeling like the little queen of fashion that she is.

Dear Twilight,
I'm so sorry for what I did to you three weeks ago. I should have listened to you, but at the same time, you should have listened to me. I still care for you and...I think I might be in love with you. I can't get you off my mind and I still care for you severely. I want you to come down to Ponyville so that we can talk in private. This time, you can tell me everything that's going on. You need to tell me more because I'm a still a little bit confused as of why you are in deep sorrow. I hurt you and broke your heart, but you did the same, but worse. That's okay, though. That can be a part of the process of love and, as time goes on, that feeling will grow ever more strongly.
Like I said, come to Ponyville so that we can talk, but find the time to do so, like I also said to you before.
I love you, Twilight. Don't ever forget that.

Dear Luna,
Please disregard of what I have said in that letter. I was in a very bad mental state. You're right, I need to be to change this, or else my heart will turn cold. Please forgive me for what I have said to you. It was terribly rude and I feel extremely guilty for it because, after all, you are the one that brought me to this world. The same goes to Tia.
I still won't be going to the castle, though. I want Twilight to come down to Ponyville and talk to me, so that you won't have to hear me in that horribly, angry state again.

Dear Celestia,
Now, before you read anymore of this, I just want to say that this letter has to be between you and me. I'm also going to be completely honest with you on this one, so prepare yourself.
I didn't appreciate the look that you gave me when I left the castle. You know just as well as I do that he deserved that beating. I won't be coming back to the castle until you realize that Blueblood's behavior is far worse than you think, because it is. I don't know if you were there to hear what he was saying, but he said some outrageous lies that involved you and Luna. He actually had the audacity to say, in front of my face, that you never cared for me nor did you want anything to do with me. He also said that Luna never cared for me either and that she was thinking about sending me back to Earth because 'I was such a stupid monkey that never learns.' Do you see where I'm going with this, Tia? I want you to, not only talk to him, but give him a proper punishment. Make him do the things that he despises, like actually being nice to a mare because I know that he never treated any of the mares that he dated right.
However, with the look you gave me, I don't blame you, though like I said, I didn't appreciate it. I was out of control and completely not the person that I was, but now you, Blueblood and the rest of the Royal Guards know not to get me to that point of anger. I have had problems with that in the past and I didn't want that coming back, but what he said caused it.
I'm now going to say things that you've probably heard before, but I'll also tell you things that come straight from my heart.
You are the most beautiful creature in Equestria, which isn't that much of a coincidence because I bet you get that from your mother's side of the family. Your hair is what defines you and what you do as the Goddess of the Sun. It's like the hair that I've always dreamed of a woman having and you made it come true. I'm not saying I'm in love with you or anything. However, at first, I thought I was, but despite your beauty and your enormous amount of kindness that you have for ponies and me, I don't think a relationship between us would ever work. I mean, think about it, I'm a human that won't live past one hundred years and you, as far as I know, have lived a lot longer than I have and will keep living for thousands of more years. So, basically, a mortal dating an immortal? No. That doesn't work. However, just saying, I think you would love to have me as your boyfriend. All I'm saying is; I'm pretty good at keeping relationships going for a pretty long time, I mean look at how long Ashley and I lasted. It was a really long time. I don't think you know this, but I'm also pretty good when it comes to the bedroom. You've probably had pretty good stallions in bed, but I bet that I'm better. i may be getting cocky, but it's like I said before, I'm just being completely honest with you here and you know what they say; honesty is the best policy.
So, basically, I bet I could 'rock your world' and make you feel like the princess that you are because, honestly, I wouldn't really mind doing so and I probably wouldn't even try. Now I'm getting cocky. Let's move on.
In all seriousness, you are awesome at what you do and the same goes to Luna. You both are beautiful mares. Luna was really fun to talk to and we haven't really talked that much yet, so we should do that soon. I bet you would be a blast to talk with. Maybe later we could have a little fun, but I bet that won't happen.

Yeah, I had to think of what to say to the three of them. It's just a habit of mine. I especially had to think of the things that I wanted to say to Celestia because I had a lot to tell her.
Anyways, I get ready for bed by taking my shirt and jeans off. I take off my reading glasses and turn off the lights.

"Oh Daniel! It's Rarity again! I have a special surprise for you! Open the door so that you can claim it..." Rarity said, with a lustful tone in her voice

A Princess's Sadness Chapter 4-1
The Interesting Conversation with Rarity
I wake up, feeling refreshed from the night with Rarity. Speaking of which, she was still here. She was cuddling me and making the cutest snore. I had to wake her up though. However, I thought I would be creative about it. I reach my arm out very slowly and carefully and make my hand towards her butt. I didn't spank it or just flat-out grab it. No, I poked it and gave it my special pinch. She didn't wake up.
She's awake. She's messing with me.
I then decided to just grab it and just give it a nice massage. She moaned in pleasure and lust. I got a little more rough with it and it made her even happier.
"You awake yet?" I asked.
No response.
"I know you're awake, Rarity. I won't stop until you give me some sort of response." I said in a playful manner.
She then opened her eyes and gave me a lustful smile. I smile back and stop. Just letting you guys know, her ass is nice and soft. Mainly because of the fur.

"I mean, don't get me wrong, it's a great idea. I'm just...not in the mood right now. Besides, I'm already fully awake. A little morning sex would probably get me tired again..."
"...Oh. I see." Rarity said, disappointed.
"...I'm sorry."
"Oh no, it's perfectly fine, dear. I think I've put you through my wonderful talents for long enough and I think that should do me some good for some time. I've been really looking for...'someone' like you for a while now and I thought that I would never get the chance to be with that type again." Rarity said.
I got confused.

That's when it got quiet. The rest of the time, it was mostly Rarity brushing her hair, putting on her make-up and her humming a little tune. I honestly liked her singing. I think I might have said this before, but I think she has the best singing voice.
While she's doing that, I lay back in my bed, with only my underwear on and stare out the window, thinking about Twilight. Yes, it may have been fun with Rarity, but I bet it would be a wonderful experience if I was to share that feeling with Twilight.
"Well, I'm just about done with everything, darling. Are you sure you don't want to have a little more fun before I go, Daniel?" Rarity asked.
"Yeah...I'm sure. Thanks for the offer though, Rarity." I said.
"Okay. Well, I'd best be going then. I have a lot to do today and Sweetie Belle is probably worrying about me right now, so I guess I'll talk to you later. Okay?"
"Sounds good. Bye, Rarity." I said, waving goodbye.
"Bye, Daniel." Rarity said, with a wink.
She heads out the door and that just leaves me alone with my thoughts about Twilight.
I really hope she got that letter. Who knows how much emotional pain she's feeling right now. Shining Armor is going to kill me, probably. Oh well. If Twilight does get the letter, then I hope that she comes over. I really would like to-

"A scattered dream that's like a far-off memory. A far-off memory that's like a scattered dream. I want to line the pieces up- yours and mine."
"Um...I didn't expect to see you this soon. How are you?" I asked.
"I'm still recovering from what happened three weeks ago."
I sighed and said, "Look, I'm terribly sorry for my actions that day. I just turned into a completely different person and it disgusts me to even think about. Again, I'm sorry."
"It's okay. I wasn't myself either, so don't feel bad." Twilight said.
"...Um, do you want to come in for a little while, so that we can talk?" I asked, very politely.
"Of course I do. That's the whole reason why I came here."
Twilight walked in and I closed the door behind her. I thought that I would open a few blinds because the house was a little dark and that fact that it might have been bothering her a little bit.
"So...you went to the Crystal Empire, huh?"
"Yes. That's where I've been for the past three weeks. It was just me mainly talking to Cadence and Shining Armor, which by the way isn't very happy with you." Twilight said.
"I could talk to him if you want me to, since this is my fault." I said.
"No it isn't, Daniel."
"Please calm down. I really don't like seeing you like this." Twilight said.
I took a deep breath and plopped onto my bed, looking up at the ceiling. I then feel Twilight jump onto the bed and come over to me, lying next to me; cuddling. My heart exploded and couldn’t help but giggle. Twilight giggled a little bit too.
“What’s so funny?” Twilight asked, looking at me with her big and beautiful eyes.
“Oh nothing, it’s just that you look so freaking adorable when you do that. In fact, I think you’re adorable in general.” I said.
I then gave her a kiss on the forehead and she giggled. We cuddled for a little bit, before Twilight decided to bring up a certain subject three weeks ago.
“So…what went through your mind when you were beating up Blueblood?” Twilight asked, giving me a playful smile.
I instantly knew what she was talking about.
“…Shit, all I remember was hearing yelling. I don’t really remember much.”
“You mean…you blacked out?”
“That’s exactly what I did. Did you ever see him after I beat the crap out of him?” I asked.
“Yeah and…wow. I didn’t know that you were capable with such violence, Daniel.”
“It’s part of human nature. Humans can have their moments. Sometimes they can be calm & walk away from a potential fight, which is something I should’ve done, and sometimes…they can be pushed to their uttermost limit & basically no longer have control in what they do and they blackout. With me, when I blackout, you would want to stay away from me. It would probably take at least six royal guards to restrain me. I may not look that tough, but I’m secretly a monster when it comes to strength. My mom told me that I get that from my father, but I don’t know for sure since I don’t know much about him.” I said.
“You…never knew your father?”
“Nope and I think I’m better off without him too because do you know where he was, Twilight? IN A MENTAL INSTITUTION! That’s where he fucking was and I don’t know why. My mother never told me, but my dad did. I visited him once and…ugh. Let me tell the story. This is an experience that I’ll never forget until the day I die.” I said, beginning my story.
This story contains a few things that I have failed to mention, but the big thing is that I know what my father looked like. I never got to know him though, that’s the screwed up part about this whole thing and…it changed me forever. It’s…pretty eye opening and shocking, to say the least.
15 Years Ago
I was only eight years old when I went to visit my father and it would be my only visit. My mom and I arrived at the prison at the right time; 10:00 A.M. I was kind of tired, due to the fact that I stayed up late last night playing Super Mario World, a game back on my planet. Oh well, at least I got some sleep. I was nervous. I didn’t even know what prison was back then and it already sounded unpleasant.
“Now, Daniel, when we get in there; you are not to look at a single man that is in there, okay?”
“Yes mommy. I won’t.” I said, scared.
“It’s okay, sweetheart. They won’t take you away from me. I’ll make sure of that.” My mom said, trying to calm me down.
That’s not what I was scared of. I was scared of what my dad was going to be like from being in prison for so long. We soon made our way into the prison and we were met with a police officer and a psychologist. We were told that he was just in that room.
“Oh and he has requested that Daniel is to come in without his mother.”
I looked at my mommy with nervousness. My mom hugged me tightly and kissed me on my forehead.
“Don’t worry, Daniel. This police officer will make sure that nothing will happen to you. I’ll be watching closely in the other room.” My mom said, smiling at me with comfort.
“But…I’m scared mommy.”
“Don’t be scared, honey. It’ll be alright. Now go with the police officer; your father is excited to meet you.”
The lady officer took out her hand and smiled. I was very hesitant.
“It’s alright, buddy. I won’t bite. Take my hand.”
I took her by her word and took her hand. We were now in the room and that’s when I saw him; my father. He grinned from ear to ear.
“Daniel! Look at you; all grown up! I haven’t seen you since you were only a baby. Come here, give me a hug!” My dad said, kneeling down.
I was hesitant, but ran up to him and gave him a big hug. He started crying.
“Oh god, it’s so good to see you son. You have no idea how happy I am right now.” My dad said.
“Don’t cry, daddy. I don’t want to see you cry.”
My dad looked down at me with a smile.
“I’m not crying because of sadness, Daniel. I’m crying because of how happy I am to see you.” My dad broke the embrace.
“Come; let’s have a seat and talk.”
My dad pulled a chair for me and sat down from the other side of the table. I sat down on the chair and began our ‘conversation’.
“So…how have you been, Daniel?”
“…Good.”
“That’s good! How are you doing in school?”
“…Alright.”
My dad gave me a look of worry.
“What’s wrong, D-“
“Why are you here, daddy?”
My dad gave me a look of shock and took a deep breath. He looked at the window above. I looked and there my mom. She nodded her head in acceptance, telling him to tell me the truth.
“Daniel…I’m sick.”
“Sick? What do you mean ‘sick’, daddy? Do you have the flu?”
My dad giggled.
“No, Daniel. That’s not what I mean. I mean I’m sick in the head. I have this disorder where…I have a terrible case of delusions. I haven’t seen any in a long time, which is good. That’s why I left and went here. Your mother and I still love each other to death, but we both decided that it was for the best that I remain here. I won’t be here for that long, though. I get out of here in a few more years. When I get back, we are going to spend a lot of time together. I’m sorry I wasn’t there for you, Danny.”
My eyes widened. My mother called me Danny sometimes and the fact that my dad just called me Danny was a shock for me. That proved to me that my dad really did love me. I started crying.
“What’s the-“
“I love you daddy.”
My dad smiled and started crying again.
“I love you too, son.” He said.
He got up again, walked up to me and gave me another tight embrace. I did the same and we cried for ten minutes. Then…it happened. My dad looked up and had an intense look of fear on his face.
“Daddy, what’s wrong?” I asked, starting to get scared.
“…Get him out of here. Daniel, I love you. We’ll see each other soon.” My dad said.
He then grabbed his head and screamed at the top of his lungs. I got scared instantly and went to grab the officer.
“GET HIM OUT OF HERE! I DON’T WANT HIM TO SEE ME LIKE THIS! OH GOD, MY HEAD!” My dad screamed, grabbing his head intensely.
“HELP ME MOMMY! HELP ME!” My dad screamed.
The officer got me out of the room and went back to the room to take care of my father’s fit. I see my mom, kneeling. I ran to my mom and hugged her very tightly. I started crying intensely.
“I know, sweetie. I know.”
I continued to cry all the way home. When we got home, my mom grabbed me, went up to my room and I just cried for the rest of the day. My mom knew what I was feeling; terrified. I have never felt fear like that in all of my life. It was traumatized me to the point where I was silent for the rest of my summer break.
Twilight was tearing up, immensely.
“Oh, Daniel; I’m so sorry that happened to you.”
I hugged her and started to pet her mane.
“I feel sorry for my father. I thought that he was a bad man and left me because he hated me. At least I got to talk to him for that short amount of time. I’m lucky to have even seen him. If my mom didn’t schedule that appointment; I still would have those thoughts and feelings for my father. He was right; it was for a best that he wasn’t there.”
“It’s true. If he was there with that condition untreated; I think I would’ve developed a psychological disorder and that would’ve made me a completely different person, possibly like my father. But, you know, that’s just a theory. He was a good man, though. It’s good that I was able to talk to him for only those few minutes.”
“Yes it was.”
We both laid there for a while; just cuddling with each other and Twilight would giggle with bliss and I would just lie there thinking about the past.
“Hey Daniel?”
“What is it, Twi?”
“Do you think…you want to go out for dinner sometime in Canterlot? It would mean the world to the Princesses. My brother also wanted to talk to you. Like I said; he isn’t happy with you.”
“I know and I’m prepared for a beating, but I don’t care. If it means getting even, then so be it.”
“No, no. He’s not THAT angry. He’s just not amused with what you did. All he wants to do is talk to you about a few things. Cadence also wants to talk to you, but privately.”
Oh god.
“No, Daniel. She doesn’t want to have sex with you or anything. All she wants to do is talk. That’s all; nothing sexual, none of that.”
“…Did you just read my mind?”
“Yep.”
“Do all alicorns have that ability?”
“Yep.”
“Okay then.”
Twilight giggled and continued to cuddle with me. It was really heartwarming.
“So when do you think we’ll go?” I asked curiously.
“They want us to be there tomorrow, so I think you should get your stuff ready.”
“Don’t worry. I will.”
Everything went silent after that. Good. It’s not anything bad; it was just silent, quality time with my Twily. I then looked at her wings and wondering if it really was sensitive. So, I touched it and Twilight yelped in surprise.
“Daniel, don’t do that! My wings are really sensitive!” Twilight said.
“So it really is true, then.”
“What; that the wings of an Alicorn and Pegasus are sensitive?”
“Yeah.”
“Everypony knows that, Daniel.”
“Well, I didn’t.”
“Well, you should’ve known that you silly pants.” Twilight said, poking my nose with her hoof.
“Whatever, egghead.”
“Hey!”
I laughed and kissed her on the forehead.
“…So is your horn sensitive too?”
“…Yes. Don’t touch it, though.”
“Okay, I won’t.”
“I’m getting tied, Danny.”
“It’s like…5:00. 5:00?! Have we really been laying here for that long?”
“Yep.”
“…Whatever. Let’s get some sleep, even though it’s the afternoon.”
“That’s fine with me, sweetie.”
I took off my shirt and pants, turned off the lamp and got under the covers with Twilight. Twilight crashed in a few minutes, still cuddling with me. I just lay there, thinking about things.
I’m not excited for tomorrow, that’s for sure. I’m still kind of nervous that Shining is still going to give me a pounding. It’s not that I’m scared of him or anything. I just don’t like fighting with anypony. And what will Cadence talk to me about? Maybe give me some advice or share some personal things that she possibly went through when she was young? I don’t know, I’m going to have to find out tomorrow after dinner. And Rarity…man she’s hot.
My eyes then got heavy and I instantly fell asleep.

Sorry that 4-2 was terribly short. I seriously am sorry about that. I should have made it a hell of a lot longer than that, but oh well, it was still a good chapter. Dirtier than the rest, but it was still a good one in my opinion.
I'm going to be honest, Chapter 2 is probably the best one; very powerful, very sad, and very heartbreaking.
But yeah, anyways, I really hope you guys enjoyed this one. I'm actually having fun typing this again and I don't even know why I dissed it before; this story is very good and I really hope that others will come across this and enjoy it. If you don't like it, that's perfectly okay! It's your opinion and you should stick with it, kind of like me not liking Duck Dynasty...and Capcom.

The Train to Canterlot
Twilight and I woke up early to catch the morning train to Canterlot. We wanted to get there as soon as possible. I wanted to do it to get it out of the way and apologize to Luna face-to-face.
The train arrived and we got on with the luggage that I brought with me, because I was probably going to be staying there for a while. Of course, we sat together and Twilight didn’t really get as much sleep as I originally thought, so I let her take an hour nap. It was going to be a long train ride to Canterlot because it usually takes about three hours to get there on the train.
While she was sleeping and cuddling me; I began thinking about a few things.
I really hope that it works out between us. I don’t want to break her heart, because she’s too special to me. I love her. I can’t possibly screw this up.
Now Cadence, I don’t know what she’s going to be talking to me about. Maybe she wants me to share my thoughts about Twilight. Maybe she wants to give me some more advice on love. I mean, I already know enough, so it shouldn’t be that difficult, for me anyway.
My thoughts were interrupted by Twilight yawning and opening her beautiful eyes. She looks up at me and smiles.
“Hey Danny.”
“Hey Twi. Did you have a good nap?” I asked.
“Yes I did. I love taking naps.” Twilight said, kissing me on the lips. “I love you, Danny.”
“I love you too, Twily.” I said, pecking her on the nose. She giggled and went to lie back down. She wrapped her arms around me and continued to cuddle with me. She closed her eyes and moaned blissfully.
“…Do you think that it will go well with me and Shining.” I asked, nervous.
“Don’t worry, honey. He won’t beat you up or anything.”
“What about Cadence? Do you know what she wants to talk to me about?”
“I actually don’t. She said she’ll tell me after you two are done talking. I’m not worried, though. I’m sure it’ll go smoothly.” Twilight said, yawning and falling back to sleep.
“…Okay then.” I said, relieved.
My eyes were beginning to get heavy and I slowly began to fall asleep myself. We only had two more hours to go until we got to Canterlot.
Canterlot
“Danny. Wake up, sweetie. We’re here!”
I open my eyes and yawned. I look out the window and I see the Princesses waiting for us outside. Celestia gave me a stern look and I knew that she wanted to talk to me. Luna had a sad expression on her face, which made me feel guilty because of the letter that I sent to her.
“Come on, Danny. You too, Rarity!” Twilight called out.
My eyes widened. I turn around slowly and I indeed saw Rarity. Twilight went outside and so did Rarity, but she brushed her tail on my you-know-what and winked at me lustfully. I sighed, a tiny-bit agitated.
This isn’t going to go well.
“Daniel?” Twilight called.
“Oh, um, coming!”
I ran over to Twilight and that’s when I was blocked off by the guards. I gave a confused look at Celestia.
“It’s for protection. Blueblood will riding with us.” Celestia said.
“What? Why is he here?” I asked, angry.
“He wanted to tag along, plus he wanted to talk to you. He’s over in his cart. The guards will escort you there. I’m sorry I have to do this to you, Daniel.” Celestia said, guilty.
“No, it’s alright. It’s understandable.” I said.
“Now, Daniel. I don’t want you fighting with Blueblood at all. I mean it.” Celestia said with a serious tone.
“I won’t.” I said, with a smile.
I was not looking forward to the ride with Blueblood, which is a bad idea all together because it may end up with me beating his ass again. The guards pushed me into the cart and that’s when I saw Blueblood on the other side. He...surprisingly looked calm.
We just stared at each other, neither of us knew what to say. So...I started talking.
"...Hey, listen, Blueblood...I'm really sorry that-"
"No, I should be the one that's sorry." Blueblood began. "I shouldn't have said those words. I shouldn't have pushed you that far. I knew you were angry and I knew I would get you angrier, but I didn't expect that. You definitely caught me by surprise. I deserved every bit of that beating. After you left, my aunt gave me a nice scolding and she really opened my eyes this time. I'm...I'm an asshole and...what I did to Rarity...I don't think I'll ever get her forgiveness. In fact, I don't think I'll ever forgive myself. I treated her so badly and...I was such a coward. I'm still a big coward, but...that's just the way I am. I've never liked to fight, both verbally and physically. So...I'm sorry. You shouldn't be sorry at all. It's my fault."
...Did that really just happen? I was stunned. I've never seen Blueblood like that...ever. Okay, you know how in the show, Blueblood was being just...a spoiled little shit? I think, right here, he just...changed. I never thought in my life that I would be able to see that, but I just witnessed it.
"...However, I'm still pissed at you." Blueblood said suddenly.
"And you want to throw one punch onto me, right?"
"...Yeah." Blueblood said, chuckling nervously.
I gave him a look, but I smiled and said it was okay. Blueblood then gave me a hard blow to the face and man did it hurt. Now I know what it's like to be punched by a hoof. Let me clear when I say this, you don't want to know how badly it hurts. He broke my nose, but I didn't get mad at him. I was just kind of surprised. I knew it would hurt, but I didn't expect it to hurt THAT badly.
"Oh gosh, are you alright?"
"...Yeah. I'll be fine. Man, that hurt. I know you didn't punch me that hard, but holy shit I never want to be punched in the face by a hoof ever again!" I said, laughing.
Arrival
I told Blueblood what got me so upset. Blueblood understood. He said that it wasn't my fault at all. Twilight started it. I asked why she would do that and he said he didn't know. She was a mare. Mares do that sometimes. It's just like women on my planet, so it wasn't anything new to me. I couldn't help but agree with him, though. He was right. Twilight did start this whole thing. But I can't bash her for something so stupid. It just feels rude to talk this way about her. But I can't help but do so. It still confuses me as to why she reacted that way.
"Danny! We're he- OH MY GOSH, WHAT HAPPENED TO YOUR NOSE?!" Twilight screamed.
Tia and Lulu came rushing in and immediately gave an angry look at Blueblood.
"Ladies, it's okay. I let him do that. It was just to get even. We're cool, now. He admitted that he was wrong and he apologized. It's alright."
Tia and Lulu stared at me and then at Blueblood again in shock. Tia then smiled and a tear ran down her eye.
"I never thought I would see the day. I'm proud of you, nephew. But don't think your punishment isn't over. It's only the beginning."
"I understand." Blueblood said, then grunting.
We step out and then I saw him; Shining Armour. Twilight rushed him and gave him a big hug. After they chatted for a bit, he then made eye contact with me and boy he was not happy.
"Let us get to the castle before you two chat, hm? We don't want a fight here in public." Celestia said.
If you think the chat with him was fun. It wasn't...at all.
Shining Armour
We arrive at the castle and it was just as I remembered it. The guards saw me and gave me a defensive look. I gave them a gesture that I was alright. They sighed and continued doing what they were doing. We then get to the throne room.
The door shuts and now...it was only me and Shining. He then started to pace a bit.
"...I don't know what to say. I honestly don't." Shining began. "Do you know how bad of a wreck she was three weeks ago? She wouldn't stop crying and we had to keep giving her water because we worried that she would become too dehydrated. So, I'm going to ask this once and I expect an answer. What in the name is Celestia happened that made her come to us in such grief?!"
"She was already a complete wreck when I got to the castle! I was over there because I wanted to visit her, but when I heard Celestia say that she's been up in her room for god knows how long, I became worried instantly. Shining, she was such a wreck. Her hair was a complete mess and her book were everywhere; UNORGANIZED! There were tissues every where on the floor and Twilight was sobbing so badly. I got her to calm down a bit and she told that she didn't want this. She didn't want to be a Princess. All she wants is to be with her friends. She never asked for this at all. I mean, she's honored, believe me she is, but she still wants to be a normal unicorn that wants to be with her friends. This new responsibility has really put a lot more weight on her shoulders."
"It got to the point where it was starting to affect her personality. She's not the same Twilight that I knew when I first met her. She changed a lot. It's not my fault that event happened. She started it. I was just trying to be her friend and just started going off on me. I couldn't take it anymore and I left. Blueblood and I got into a huge fight, that resulted in me beating the utter living shit out of him and me going back to Ponyville. Now, here I am, talking to you, pouring my heart out and telling you everything that happened. Is there more that you want to say or are we done?!" I yelled.
"..."
Shining was silent for a long time. I waited patiently for his response and...
"...Yeah...we're done. I just wanted to know what happened and...I got more than I wanted. Thanks...really." Shining said, leaving.
"...I didn't go too far, did I?" I asked, worried.
"No, you didn't. I'm not mad at you. You told me everything and that's all I wanted to hear. You didn't hurt my feelings or anything like that. I'm just glad that I now know what happened. Thank you."
Shining then left me alone in the throne room. After a while of just standing there in silence, I felt a great pressure being lifted from my body. But I knew this wasn't over. There was more that had to be done and I knew who I had to talk to next.

As I wait for somepony else to arrive in the throne room, I couldn't help but think over the events that happened for the last couple of weeks. I finally realized something that I have failed to see all along and I still feel stupid to this very day for not seeing it.
...I'm so STUPID! I began thinking to myself. How could I have not seen this?! It isn't Blueblood's fault. It wasn't Twilight's fault, either. This whole thing is my fault! My behavior over these past few weeks have been so childish. I should never have reacted that way towards Blueblood, Luna, Celestia, or Twilight! My god, especially Shining! What did I have to yell like that! ...This isn't me. This isn't who I am, at all! I never made excuses for my behavior in the past, so why am I making them now?! God...I feel like a big jerk right now. I need to set things right. I can't rely on anybody to help with things like this. I need to do this on my own. I feel like this is the only way to do this. I'm smarter than this. What the hell is wrong with me?! Am I...becoming like my dad in a way? No, that can't be it. Why would I become like my dad? Mom told me that he made so many excuses for HIS temper tantrums! I don't want to become like him. Has...has his illness been transferred to me? No...no that can't be it. There's no way. I wasn't like this before, so why am I like this now?! Why do I keep asking myself these stupid questions?

Chapter 6 A Princess's Sadness

Celestia
Man, how long has it been since Shining left? It's been a pretty long time...either that or I'm just getting really impatient.
I check the time...but my watch doesn't work anymore. It's funny, I actually forgot about my watch until at that moment. It's strange.
I then hear the sound of hoofs coming towards my direction. I look to see who it is and...it's Celestia. That kind of surprised me. I thought I was going to talk to Cadence next.
"Cadence decided to talk to you later. She not very happy with you, Daniel...neither am I. We have a lot to talk about, so it's going to be a while." Celestia began. "...I'm very disappointed in you. ...But I'm also proud. I heard your thoughts. I'm glad that you've opened your eyes to what you've really done. You really hurt us, Danny...especially Lulu and Twilight. Why did you react the way you did towards my nephew. I understand that he got on your nerves, but attacking him? That's down-right immature and childish. I know that you realized this, but you better listen to me good, Daniel Lee Harrington. This isn't you, at all. Ever since that day when you came to the castle to comfort Twilight, things started to get out of control for you. Your behavior, your personality, everything about you is starting to decay and I don't want that to happen to you."
"You have to think; what would Ashley think of this? I might have an-"
"Stop."
"No, I won't. Look, I'm sorry that I went there with you, but I had to. I need you to really open your eyes and see what you're doing to yourself. You're better than this and Twilight has even said this to me while you and Shining were in the throne room. Twilight loves you so much. Neither of us don't want to see you become an angry and bitter man. You need to make some changes and you need to make them now."
Celestia stepped closer to me and sat down next to me. She took a deep breath and continued.
"You have a new family now, Daniel. You have us now. All of us care about you so much and we want to help you become a better person. We just need you to just accept our friendship."
"What are you talking about? I already have." I said, looking at her with confusion.
"Not entirely. You aren't letting us help you." Celestia continued, starting to cry. "And...I don't think you know this, but...Luna loves you as if you're her child, Danny...as do I. I haven't seen her cry this much in a very long time. Do you have any idea how much you hurt her feelings when you sent that response?! DO YOU?! You hurt her so badly. That's why she isn't here. She's up in her room, crying herself to sleep. I really hope this says something to you." Celestia said, crying.
She then storms out of the throne room and slams the two doors. She left me and...I was alone with my thoughts again. The amount of guilt I was feeling at that moment will still haunt me. I was powerless at that moment. I couldn't move. I felt hot tears rolling down my face...but I wiped them off.
I was sick of crying. I was angry...at myself. I knew then...that I had to make things right. I messed up badly and I had to pick the broken pieces and put them back together. I've had enough. I had to go talk to Luna...alone. When I finally calmed down, I made my way towards the two doors that leads out of the throne room, but something stopped me. I felt a presence. It was a few inches away from me. This energy I was feeling...it felt sad. I couldn't describe it. It was so powerful. I turned around to see what the source of this energy was. What I saw broke me.
"...Ashley?" I managed to speak out. "...Ashley, what's the matter, sweetheart?"
"..."
She didn't respond. She just...looked at me with tears running down her eyes. I moved closer to her. As I did, I felt the energy getting more powerful and more severe. Something was telling me to stop, but I couldn't. I had to know what was wrong.
"...Ashley...what's the matter?"
"..."
"Ashley, sweetheart, you need to talk to me. You came to me for a reason...so what's wrong?"
"...Why?"
"Why what, honey?" I asked.
"Why did you do that to her? This isn't you, Dan. I know you better than anybody. This isn't you at all! Why are you being this way? I thought you were a good guy!" She said as her sobs got louder.
"No, I AM a good guy, sweetie." I began, embracing her. "It's just...a lot of things are going on right now that's what Celestia was talking to me about. She wants me to change and be back to my normal self again. Don't think for a second that I'm not the person that you thought I was. I'm still the Daniel that you knew before you died and always will be. I WILL make things right, Ashley. Don't cry. It's going to be alright! I promise that I'll never give up on Twilight."
"...You really promise?" Ashley asked, still crying.
"Yes! I truly promise. Now Ssh, wipe those tears. It'll be alright." I said in a soothing voice.
We remain embraced until Ashley had to go. I felt her touch slowly disappearing. When she was about to do so, she kissed me and told me that she loves me. My heart still ached for her to come back, but I knew she wouldn't. I accepted that fact and moved on. I didn't want to waste any more time than I already have and head to Luna's room.
Twilight
As I was making my way towards Luna's room, I suddenly felt a serious case of Déjà vu. I couldn't help but chuckle at that. It just feels like I'm doing the same thing again, but it was Luna this time and it was just as serious as when Twilight was in that situation. However...this was going to be a lot harder for me. This is Lulu we're talking about. It's going to be harder for me to be able to calm her down. I might have to stay in there for a long time, possibly for the rest of the day and for the whole night.
I get to her room and there was a note on the front.
No need to knock, Daniel. Just let yourself in.
I still knocked and let myself in. Luna was sniffling. She turned around and gave a small grin.
"Didn't I say you didn't have to knock?"
"Sorry. I just feel that it's rude to not knock when you're entering somepony's room without knocking." I said.
Luna giggled a bit and turned back around, facing the window. She was laying down in her bed. I closed her door and made my way to her. I sat next to her and held her hoof. Tears started to run down her already bloodshot red eyes.
"...I'm so sorry about what I said to you in the second letter that I sent to you. I didn't mean a single word that I said."
Luna's smile turned into a frown. She sat up and looked down on the floor.
"...You really hurt me, Daniel. Do you honestly expect that just saying 'I'm sorry' is going to cover it?" Luna asked, looking at me with teary eyes and an angry look.
"No...no I don't and I don't blame you for being heartbroken. It's my fault and I deserve whatever scolding you'll give me." I began. "I talked with your sister...and somepony else. They really opened my eyes and I now see what I've truly done and what I've been doing. I've been making so many excuses for my behavior and been pointing fingers at my friends and family, saying that it's their fault for my reaction to Blueblood and my reaction to what Twilight suddenly said to me a couple weeks ago. I don't think that I'll ever be able to forgive myself for what I've done. So, yeah, I did that and now...I just need to get over it. As much as I wish that I could go back to the past and change what I've done, I can't. What's done is done. There isn't much I can do now...except try to fix this."
"I think you've done just about enough, Daniel. Leave." Luna said, using her magic to open the door.
"...No."
"LEAVE!" Luna screamed, using her booming voice.
"...No. I'm not leaving. I promised that somepony that I would make things right with you and I'm not leaving until that happens. Get over it." I said, giving her a serious look in my eyes.
Luna sighed and looked at me with a sad frown.
"Daniel, look, I appreciate it. Believe me, I do. I do want to talk to you, but I can't right now. All I require is some time to gather my thoughts. That is all I'm asking for. Please?"
I gave a sigh and looked at her. She was giving me those puppy dog eyes and I couldn't help but smile a bit.
"...Alright. Open the door when you're ready, okay?"
"Okay."
I was just about to walk out the door when...
"Oh, and Daniel?"
I turn to look at her.
"I didn't mean what I said; 'I think you've done enough'. That was just out of anger. I apologize."
"It's okay. It happens." I said, giving her a smile. I walk back out into the hallway and close the door behind me. I started to go into my thoughts, but was interrupted by the feeling of a hoof on my leg. I look down to see Rarity. I actually forgot that she came with Twilight and I to Canterlot. She wasn't the way she usually is when she sees me. She actually started to talk to me.
"...Hi darling."
"...Hey." I said, feeling a bit awkward. Rarity sat down next to me, putting her head on my shoulder.
"...Listen...there's something I've been wanting to talk to you about." she began. "I'm really sorry for the way I've behaving around you. I was-"
"On heat?"
"...Yeah. I'm...very sorry. I kind of lose control of myself around stallions. But when you first met my eyesight, I lost all control of myself and I just...wanted you so badly. Again, I'm sorry about that."
"It's okay. At least I satisfied you, right?"
Rarity blushed and giggled. "That you did do. Thank you for that."
"You're welcome. Now you know about the human anatomy." I said, laughing.
Rarity joined in, but stopped when she went pale. I turned in her direction and I froze. Twilight was standing on the other side of the hallway, having a confused look on her face. Those eyes of hers told me that she heard everything that we said. I couldn't move or take my eyes off of Twilight. I didn't know what she was going to do. Then...she started walking towards us. I prepared myself for the worst that was to come. I could already imagine it. Rarity and Twilight would get into a fight, kind of like a cat fight with girls back in my world. They fight and then make out. Rarity slowly goes down on Twilight and she then when she gets to the prize, she then sticks her tongue out and-
WHOA WHOA WHOA! WHERE DID THAT COME FROM?! I NEED TO CALM DOWN! I screamed to myself in my thoughts.
"So...you two...did THAT, huh?" Twilight began. "So, DANIEL, when did this event happen? Mind telling me the freaking details of that night, huh?"
Oh boy...
"It was before we got together. It wasn't anything passionate. It was just a one-time thing. That's all. I wouldn't cheat on you, Twi. Come on, you know me better than that!" I said, giving a look that said 'Are you kidding me?'
"...Rarity...do you mind?"
"Yeah, I should get going. Bye Twi...and sorry for getting you roped into this awkward situation, Daniel." Rarity said, giving me a look that said 'whoops'. Rarity was gone in a snap. One second she's there and then the next second, POOF, she's gone. Twilight sat next to me and we just looked at each other.

I didn't get a response after that. I looked at her with worry. Then, I realized something.

Daniel...I had a relationship with...a stallion before you and I met. In fact, this was before you came to Equestria. I can't remember his name, but what I do remember is the fights that we had on the first four months of us being together. The first couple of weeks were going so well...but then he changed. He wasn't...him anymore. He was somepony else. That's when...the abuse started.
You...were abused?
...Yeah. I was...emotionally abused. He never laid a hoof on me...until...the last day we were together. We...got into an extremely heated fight. Spike was out running some errands. That was the perfect opportunity for him to tell me everything he's done behind my back. He cheated on me with three mares and said he felt no guilt. I lost it. I was so angry. I screamed at him for hours and I finally pushed him to the door. I wanted him out of my life. That...when he hit me. Oh Faust...the pain. It hurt so much. I instantly froze and looked up at him. I was so scared. I didn't even move because I was afraid that he would hit me again. I just stared at him, with tears falling down my cheeks like a waterfall. As soon as he saw my tears, he lost it. I can't even describe how much pain I had to endure during that time. Oh Daniel, he beat the crap out of me. I was so helpless. I couldn't even use my magic because of the trauma and fear. I went blank. The only thing I did was try to fight back. It went on for over an hour. I was beaten to a pulp. I felt so broken. So...weak. He was still kicking my sides...and then the door opened. He froze and went pale instantly. I looked at who entered. It was Macintosh and Applejack. AJ was carrying a package for me that I was supposed to receive from her earlier that day. She forgot to give to me, so she came over and was supposed to just drop it off on my door and leave. I whimpered and crawled to them. My ex then realized what I was doing and he stomped on my hoof. I screamed so loud. Macintosh dropped everything that he had and charged at him at a speed that I didn't think he would accomplish. Macintosh was beating the crap out of him, Dan. I've never seen Mac so angry before. After he finally got tired of fighting, he looked at me. He was still mad, but he immediately picked me up with not trouble at all and quickly took me to the hospital. When I got there, I fell unconscious. When I woke up, Shining was laying next to me. He had me embraced and was such a wreck. He was up all night, begging for me not to die. I was in a bad condition when I was taken to the hospital. I had bruises all over my stomach, both of my eyes were black and I couldn't speak. I could only speak telepathically to my friends. When I cried, it hurt. When I walked, it hurt. When I even tried to lay down, it hurt.
It was the worst experience in my life. I don't want you to be like him, Danny. Please don't be like him. Please...
Twilight then started sobbing again, just like when this all started. I picked her up, put her on my lap and embraced her, hoping to comfort her in some way. Right then and there, I realized what I have truly done to the love of my life and I felt like an asshole for not realizing the extent of her sadness.
Twi... I'm so sorry.

For a while, Twilight and I just sat on the floor, embraced. She broke the hug and said that she had to go. We said our goodbyes and she left. Now that I was alone, I had a lot of questions spinning inside my head and I was getting to the point where I was just afraid. Afraid of what, you say? I didn't know at the time. I was still a youngster, so I didn't fully understand love just yet. I thought I had it all figured out, but in reality, I was far from understanding it.
As more questions came from the depths of my mind, I suddenly found myself stuck and confused. It was getting to the point where it was driving me insane. I was over the edge and I was very close into falling into the depths of insanity. Then, a question that stood above all the rest came into mind.
What if our love... isn't real?
A Princess' Sadness Chapter 7-1
"It's an unexplainable feeling, an expression. It's a touch, it's a feel. Once you feel it, it's like no other thing in the world."
Whoa, whoa, whoa. Time out. Where did THAT come from? Of course I love Twilight! ...Or wait...do I?
I pushed that aside for now and started thinking of other matters.
Is it really her fault or mine? Maybe it's both our fault that this happened? I don't know why they keep telling me it's not my fault. It is. Well...mostly. If I hadn't have reacted that way, then MAYBE this whole thing wouldn't have happened.
Then I thought back to what Twilight said those weeks ago when I was at the castle.
What caused her to feel that way? 'You don't like me anymore because of what I said.'? What is that supposed to mean? Maybe she didn't mean that. She was probably confused and had terrible thoughts going through her head...like me dying before her.
I deeply thought about those last words.
I need to talk to her about that. I don't think I had the chance to do so. ...It could be why she's so freaking stressed out.
I then thought of the night with Rarity.
Why? Why did I do that?! You know what? I deserve her screaming at me for that. I can't blame her for being mad at Rarity and I. Though...it was nice. I actually feel like a big chunk of my stress was lifted after that. Probably why I crashed as soon as I had that orgasm. Eh, I don't know. All I know is that it was wrong for me to do that.
Now, back to the matter at hand. If Twilight IS going to live longer than me, then she's going to outlive...her...friends...
Right then and there, something clicked. My eyes grew wide and I stood up because of that realization.
Oh my god...not only is she worried about me dying before her, but she's also worried about outliving her friends. Why didn't I think of that?! I have to find her friends. Now.
I knocked on Luna's door.
"Hey, Lulu! Is Twi's friends here or not?"
"Um...I think they arrived not too long after your talk with Shining ended. They might be in Twi's room."
"Thank you!"
I immediately ran to my destination. I had to hurry, because I might not have another chance of doing this.
The Mane 6
I arrive not that long after Luna informed me of the rest of the Mane 6's arrival. I knew Rarity was here, but I didn't know if the rest of them would be here. I heard chatter in Twi's room. I knocked on the door and it fell completely silent.
"If that's Daniel, then go away." Rainbow Dash yelled.
"I need to talk to you guys about something critically important! Can I please come in?"
"Dash, open the dang door for the guy, for Celestia's sake!" Rarity yelled.
"Why?!"
"Because if you don't, then I'll bust down the door! Now let me in."
Silence then overcame the room. I hear a irritated grunt from Dash and she finally allows me to enter. I get a very nasty glare from her, and I didn't comment on it.
"I deserve that look. After all, it's my fault."
"It really isn't your fault-"
"No, it IS my fault, Twi! I've made so many terrible excuses for my bad behavior and I don't deserve you, I don't deserve your friends' support and I don't deserve anything after what I did! So, basically, I screwed up and I need to deal with it."
A short silence overcame the room once again.
"Well...at least you admit that you screwed up...so I guess you can have A BIT of respect from us, but don't take that lightly, you jerk!" Dash sat down on the floor. "Now, why are you here? What's so important that you need to talk to Twilight about?"
"Ask her." I said.
They all looked at Twilight and her head just droops. Tears start to fall down from her eyes onto her bed. I crawl onto her bed and wrapped my arm around her.
"I guess I should tell you all."
"Fer pete's sake, spit it out!" Applejack said impatiently.
I hesitate for a minute and took a deep breath.
"...Twilight is afraid that she'll outlive us."
Gasps filled the room and they all forgot they're anger towards me and looked at Twilight in shock.
"Twi...is this true, darling?" Rarity sadly asked.
Twilight looked up with tears in her eyes and slowly nodded. She begins sniffling and embraces me softly.
"This is why I came here, because I knew she wouldn't be able to talk about it. She's afraid to do so. She...also doesn't want to be...a princess anymore."
The girls gave me a confused look when I said that.
"Why?" Dash asked.
"...It's too stressful for me, Rainbow! I mean, at first, it wasn't that bad, but then, as time progressed, it just became more and more stressful. The more info that I discovered, more questions came into mind. It was just this one question that stood above the rest of them and that's what brought me down immensely. Thank Celestia that you came over that day, Danny. I really..."
Twilight then seemed to remember what she said to me that day. Her head droops a little and looks very guilty.
"...Girls? Do you think that Dan and I can talk alone? Please?"
They all hesitated, but reluctantly nodded in agreement and went outside. Now, we were alone, in the same room that started everything.
Twilight closed the door with her magic and broke her soft embrace to look at me.
"Listen...about what I said to you. I'm so sorry. I shouldn't have said that."
"It's okay. I should also apologize to you too. I never should have left you that day. Oh and...about Rarity and I...that was a-"
Twilight put a hoof on my lips. She gave me a smile and I smiled back at her.
"I know. It was a one-time thing. I have to apologize about earlier too. I overreacted. I wasn't thinking straight."
"It's alright."
For a few moments, there was silence.
"So...Dan..."
"Yeah?"
"...Do you think that we'll really last?"
I sort of was expecting this question, and I had to answer it, because there's no way I was going to avoid it for long.
"...Honestly, I don't know. We're not even the same species...and I'm not saying that we won't last because of it, but at the same time...dating a species that looks completely different from your own...it just seems-"
"Weird?" Twilight asked.
I look at her before continuing. "...Yeah. It shouldn't matter though, that's the thing. However...I don't think it'll be socially acceptable."
"Why? Why should you and I care about what other ponies think of us?" Twilight put her hoof on my hand. "Right now, all I care about is getting this situation sorted...and for my brother not to be such a jerk."
"Your brother a jerk?"
"He's been calling you some pretty nasty names. They're on par with Blueblood's insults, and we know how that turned out, right?" I just shook my head and grunted. "But listen to me, okay? Shining doesn't mean ANYTHING that he says about you. He likes you, he really does. He's not angry at you...okay he's a little angry at you, but he's mostly disappointed at you...and also at me. We both shouldn't have done the things that we did and we shouldn't have said the things that we've said to each other. I just...can't help but feel that it's mostly my fault. I was the one that started this whole ordeal...and I'm the one that caused you to leave."
"You didn't cause me to leave. I made that choice and I need to accept that I basically fucked up, okay? You need to stop blaming this all on yourself. WE, the both of us, are responsible for this situation starting. I never should've left, and I'm still calling myself an idiot for doing so." I sighed. "...That's why I do want to make this work." Twilight's ears perked up and her eyes widened. "I can't fight with another girl that I love so much...but I don't know if the love is real or not. That's the thing with love. It's confusing as hell and it's also frustrating. Love...can break a friendship apart, and I don't want that. If this love is real, Twi, then I want it to work. But...if it isn't...then I don't know what we'll do. I don't know what I'll do. I don't know if I'll ever feel love after losing Ashley. I...just don't know what to do."
"Is it...something that I have to figure out...or do I need guidance? It's so freaking confusing!" I yell. "It's why I HATE love...but at the same time...it's the most wonderful thing in the world." I look at Twilight with tears running down my eyes. "Twi...I'm so sorry for leaving you that day. I'm sorry for leaving you in the dark for all those weeks. I'm sorry that I'm probably the worst friend you've ever had. I'm sorry for the bullshit and all the excuses that I came up with to hide the truth from myself. I'm sorry...I-I'm just...s-so sorry...t-that I hurt you more."
The water dam broke down and the tears came down like Niagara Falls. I was now crying my eyes out. It felt like me crying when I found out Ashley died, but...it felt much worse than that. I could physically feel the pain that was being lifted deep within my heart. All the pain that I had to go through all my life and all the suffering were being released and I was letting it all out. I hugged Twilight tightly and she hugged me back.
However...this was just the beginning. What happens next will confirm that this was the worst day of my life.
