The quest

"Well then why are you here?" I asked my mother. The godess shifted nervously as if thinking if it was really worth telling me.

"What you found was a white point star not a pearl." She answered.

"What's a white point star? I've never heard of anything like that."

"Of course not it belongs in Equestria. It focuses on powerful and magical beings and brings it to it's dimension."

"So a demigod is here then?"

"Yes she arrived not too long ago and is in the badlands south of Saddle Araibia."

"She?" Hecate nodded.

"Good luck. This is part of an immunity deal. You get her to Ponyville alive, your acts againts the gods will be forgiven." She explained. I awoke not to long after. The moon was setting showing sunrise would be soon. This meant one thing. Hecate didn't want anyone to know about the quest. Quickly I got out of bed and made my way to the libaray. I made a note that read,

Dear Twilight,

I have to leave Ponyville for a couple days. Don't worry I'll be fine.

Sincerly Promettis.

I stabbed the note to the wall with my celestial bronze dagger. 'Perfect. Now she won't worry *and** know I'm leaving. I'm a genius'* I shook my cantteen of ambrosia, to which it made a made a slight swhishing sound. "Almost empty." I whispered. After finding the maps and grabbing food, I left in the grey morning light. By the time I reached the Everfree Forest the sun gave just enough light so I could see my map.

"So the Everfree forest is here" I placed my finger on the map where the Everfree forset was. ",So I need to go Eastward." I used the scale to judge how many days it would take to get to the badlands. "3 days walk. I can do that." And with that I set off.

I tried my best to not go into cities and scrounge up what little supplies there were. By the end of the first day I had blisters the size of pancakes on my feet. I was sore, tired, and nostalgic. This was just like old times running around America with Alabaster not knowing if we'll see the next day. It was awesome. Don't get me wrong it sucked but there was a sense of freedom in it that only a demigod could truly enjoy.

The second day was uneventful at best but the land seemed to become more barren and less green. By the end of the day when I looked at my map I was about five miles from the badlands.

"Well better set up camp." I muttered. Not too long after I had a tent and a roaring fire and was roasting a chicken I found and killed . It reminded me of when I was a kid back in Vermont. I colsed my eyes and relived the scene.

"Now listen up boy" My father barked in his heavy Russian accent. It was my sixth birthday, so my I thought my dad would of gotten me something stupid like socks or something. ",It's your birthday. So I wanted to give you this." he continued and handed me a small hen. "Take good care of it understand?" I nodded. We lived so remote in Vermont that I didn't even go to school. The only person I knew was my dad so this chikcen seemed like a godsend.

A couple moths later after my dad called me to the front yard and to bring the chicken. In the front yard there was a tree stump and an axe.

"Whats going on dad?" I asked.

"Bring the chicked here." He muttered. I walked up to him and he took the hen from my hands and placed it on the stump, he was still holding the hens legs. "Kill it." He ordered.

"W-what?"

"I said kill it!!" He shouted and handed me the axe. "Kill it now or I will." Tears were rolling down my eyes. I had to kill my pet.

"Why?"

"KILL IT NOW!!!" He barked. I slowly raised my axe in the air and it came down. The hen died instantly. I was thankful for that. After I killed the hen I ran up to my room and cried for hours.

The rumbling of my stomach reminded me that it was in the past and I need to eat. After I ate the chicken I lay down and went to sleep.

I woke up to the sound of a low grumble. Right next me was a wolf but not a furry one, but one made of stone and rock. It's eyes were a blood red and fangs the size of pencils.  It didn't attack like I thought it would, rather walk off and look back every couple seconds. "You want me to follow you?" I asked not expecting an answer. But for some odd reason the wolf nodded! I gulped and followed it.

By the time of dawn I was still following the wolf and saw in the distance a large tower. The tower looked like it was made of some sort of nest and had numerous holes in it. The runes on my vest glowed brighter. The demigod was in that tower. By the time we actually got to the tower, the wolf stopped and looked at me with a grin. 'It's a trap!!' I pulled out my AA-12 shotgun just in time for the first creature to pop out. THere was no nice was of describing this it. It looked like a gigant in bug with a twisty unicorn horn. One shot from the AA-12 killed it. But not two seconds later more and more came out from hiding spots behind rocks. Good thing my AA-12 was fully automatic and enchanted for unlimated ammo or else I'd be dead meat. Unfourtunately theres only so much one man can do with his shotgun tens of the bug like creatures pillled on me as the world went black.
