Jake lives out his life being bored with what happens around him all the time and begins to wonder what life would be like if he was somewhere else. His wish comes true and he ends up in the magical land of Equestia and has to grasp his new life in Ponyville with questionable interests. Jake also has trouble managing with all the different personalities of the ponies and questions if he sees himself as a human or Pony, when he eventually falls for a mare.
