Azura
Azura was a place for the most prestigious of the COG, and while they dine on fine meals, other people were left to the hounds. It was a Bunker for the rich and the overpaid. It had this maelstorm generator or something on the island somewhere.
When the Locust captured it, they killed them all, except for Adam Fenix, Locust keep strict tabs on him while he designed the big weapon thing. It's classified info, hush-hush stuff.
Azure was wrapped in a non-stop storm, taking any sunlight from the once beautiful island. Most of the time, Locust just roam around. The chance's of a attack were non-existent, still, they brought them guns and ammo.
On this eternal night, a Mauler, two Drones, and a Theron guard were wandering around a massive labyrinth. One of the Drones held a Mk.2 Lancer in his hands, the other with a powerful Sawed-Off Shotgun. The Theron guard had a Hammerburst I (Classic Hammerburst). The Mauler had a Elite Mauler's shield and a Flail with a big spike on it's head.
Each of there weapons had something special about it, The Lancer had the Crimson Omen painted on it. so does the Hammerbust. The Sawed-Off had been painted Red. The Shield and Flail remained the same.
"Hey, Ron, " one of the Drones said to the other Drone, "You catch that Ticker game last night?"
"Yeah, think i'd miss out on a game?"
"Well, I thought you'd be busy cleaning and huggin' that shottie of yours."
The two Drones continued to talk until the Theron Guard broke in the conversation, "Ryder, Ron. Quit your bickering, We're going to take a left down this hallway and link up with Rae's patrol, then we're heading to the docking area for some upgrades. "
The small patrol linked up with another patrol. A Kantus, Grenadier, and a Butcher made up the patrol. Each member greeted each other in there own ways. The two Drones greeted the Grenadier with a simple "Whats Up?". The Mauler and Butcher clashed there Shield and Cleaver together. The two patrol leaders, The Theron Guard and Kantus, greeted each other with reports on the patrol.
The patrol headed off towards the docking area. Unknown to them, there reckoning was coming to say hello.

The patrol headed off towards the Docking Area. Sub's come in daily, carrying food, ammo, guns, and info from the outside. One of the sub's pilot always brought them special gear. Smart Locust always work together.
Few years back, the Grenadier, Ven. Found some old books from a schoolhouse, from that point on, they taught themselves human history and knowledge. There the only Locust to have real friends.
As they arrived at the docking area, there friend, Jeke, stepped off his submarine's ladders.
His Sub was anything new or fancy, but she had a shit ton of storage space and life support, It had 2 Troika Turrets mounted on each side. It's cockpit only seated one, and it was heavily armored.
The combined patrol casually walked to there friend, while they did that, Jeke took out a big medal table and began placing there new gear on it.
The first gear was something real nice, A Booshka Grenade Launcher. It's a COG weapon and the COG's sure know how to made things go boom. The Nade Launcher shoots imulsion-filled projectiles at enemies. It was laid to rest some time ago, but that didn't mean it wasn't good.
Of course, The Mauler. Jueo, took it.
The next piece was another weapon out of service. The GZ18 Sniper Rifle, nicknamed "Markza". it was a semi-auto sniper, it didn't have jaw-dropping damage, but it got the job done from a distance.
The Theron Guard, Bal, took it.
What came up next was another treat, The Scorcher Flamethrower. The Dragon's Breath was what's in everyone's nightmare. It sets it's targets on fire and it burns though any armor. Most users of this are stupid enough to keep a huge pack of the flame on there backs, it was a deadly weapon simple.
The Grenadier, Ven, took it. He didn't take the big fuel tank.
The Mole came up next, The Digger Launcher fires live ammo, which means it use living things as ammo. It Digs under cover to come up on your ass and explode, making your life go boom. It was created by The Savage Armies.
The Butcher, Vels, took it.
Next up was a Classic Weapon, The Gnasher. It's a shot gun, nuff said.
Surprisingly, it landed into the drone, Ryder, hands. Now, he was only using COG weapons.
What came up next surprised all of them, an entire set of armor for a Kantus, untouched and new. It came with two Gorgon SMG's. The plates were made up of Onyx Medal. making the wearer shrug off small arms fire.
The Kantus, Rae, took it with gusto.
A Beatbox, that's what came next, a beatbox. It's speaker were broken and so was the CD holder, but it's cool it have on your shoulder.
Once they had all there new gear strapped on there backs and legs, they went off to patrol again.
A pack of Wretches rushed passed them, one of them jumping over Vels. They all ran towards a Sub named "Something Foul" . Many other Drones and other Locust jumped into subs.
Not knowing what was going on. Ven grabbed a Wretch, who was trampled by the Locust, and asked him what was going on.
The Wretch tried to free himself, to this, Ven shook him more. Finally he spoke,
"Delta Come! Run!" The Wretch shouted with his evil sounding voice. Ven Dropped him and together, they all ran back to Jeke ship. They knew who Delta was, every Locust did. most turn and run away when they see them. They're known as the Locust Killers, The Bersekers Ridas, and many other titles.
They all scrambled to get inside, they explained what was going on to Jeke. The Plan was to hide somewhere else, anywhere else.

The ship's engine had been hit by some rocks and was out of play. Luckily, they were going to make it into a tunnel leading down into some old caverns. It was an old tunnel for Locust submarines to come out of.
They had found it out awhile ago, they've been planing to gather all the other smart Locust and build some type of living down there. For they knew the COG will win this dreaded war, with a squad like Delta, it was inevitable. They hoped to come out when it was all over and make some kind of treaty with the Humans.
Jeke lead the submarine into the tunnels. Bal and Ryder maned each Troika turret, in case they had to shoot some rocks in the way, Old tunnels were infamous for collapses and hostile sea life.
They had found a little submarine depot down here, the Submarine they were riding in was taken from there.
Before the ship could explore the ancient tunnels, a large octopus that was hiding at the entrance to the tunnel latched unto the ships front. Both Bal and Ryder began firing both of the death machines at it, hardly doing anything to loosen it's grip on the ship.
The ships hull was about to be breached, if it did, everyone on the inside were going to die. Furious at the thought of his friends dying at the hands (Tentacles) of this thing. Bal aimed for the eyes and blasted them to hell. Soon, the sea beast retreated back into the cave.
Although the sea monster ran away, Jeke still had bad news. Due to the attack, the submarine was now unable to move any further. They were sitting ducks waiting for the plucking.
They had only two options. Swim back up and face Delta, or swim into the cave with that Big Fucker and other bad things inside it. The group decided to take what ever they can carry and swim into the tunnel with flashlights and Air Tanks.
Bal took both of his guns, but left his Ink Nades.
Ven took his Scorcher with the fuel and a extra Snub Pistol.
Vels strapped his Digger to his back and carried his Cleaver.
Ryder took both of his guns and the COG helmet. he was able to change the visor into a more redish color, instead of the COG Blue
Jueo took his shield and Booshka and strapped his Flail to his back.
Rae wore his Armored Dress and left his Hammerburst II.
Ron took his red bunker buster of a shotgun.
Jeke took his scope-less Longshot.
With all the gear they could carry, they opened the hatch that went outside.

The tanks were heavy, but they continued on. They all decided to hunt down Mr. Sea. (That's what they named the big octopus) once they got to the Sub Depot, if it had planted its eggs or something in this cave, then they must crush them.
A big rock blocked the route they were taking. Bal gurgled an order to Jueo to blast it to hell, which he did with gusto.
Some god up there must be in the mood for some henti or something, because the rock had another Octopus and it's family on the other side.
Jueo blasted his Nade launcher in it's cavern, killing a small monster and making the mother aware of there position. The mother's tentacles all tried to grab them. Jueo used his shield spin to cut the limb away. Ryder chainsawed the thing off his body. Vels ripped the thing off him with his cleaver. Rae spun in his suit of armor, shredding the thing off him. But everyone else was stuck in it's grip.
Vels suddenly had a idea. Vels got his Digger off his back and pointed it down a massive tentacle and with a rare speaking, launched the creature down the arm while gurgling the word "Dig!"
The idea worked perfectly. It went to his head and exploded, showering the cavern in ink, brain matter, and blood.
Where the creature was staying, a airlock was at the back of the cavern. it was labeled "Homeboy 7"
Rae was the one to open the airlock. Vels and Jueo could just barely fit inside it. Inside the airlock was another door, a few lockers. Ron and Ryder searched all the lockers and found nothing.
While inside, they all decided what to do. All the air tanks were running low. None of them explored the tunnel system, so none of them knew what Homeboy 7 meant. For all they knew, Homeboy 7 was a Berserker mating chamber. They all shuddered at the thought.
In the end, Bal and Rae, the team's leaders, were left with the choice making. And they decided to open it.
Jeke was elected to open the door. Jeke's clawed hand grabbed the lever that opened the door, and with one mighty tug, opened it.
A massive spool of light poured onto them, forcing them to shield there eyes with there hands. Then suddenly, the spotlight turned off.
Bal lowered his hand to see what the light was, he was surprised to say the least.
All around the cavern they were now in, were Locust. Smart Locust by the looks of it. They had a guns at the ready pointed at the door, Bal even saw a Troika turret perched onto a pile of rock. Beside it, was a multi-turret with Boomshots.
In the center of the cavern, a big glowing pad lied on the ground.

Turns out. The Smart Locust were trying to escape though a experimental portal. The reports said it was designed to transport Humans to an different dimension. Any place that wasn't this war scarred planet.

They were busy putting their weapons, supplies, and vehicles on the massive pad. They were quick to aim and shoot at the intruders, but once they saw it was their kin, they let them join in on the exodus.
The pad was circle shaped and at least 60 feat wide. It was big enough to fit the Assault Derrick they somehow managed to get inside the spacious cavern, and the COG APC.
Bal asked their leader, Hela. A Grenadier Elite with the Queen's symbol dangling around his neck. Why they couldn't just stay in the cavern. The other leader told him that he was assigned to be one of the guards for Adam when he was a Palace Guard. He said he overheard that Adam's weapon had some flaws. It would kill any Lambent cells, but it would also kill all Locust because they have tons of the stuff in there bodies.
A weapon like that was going to be used by Delta. No matter what they place between them and it. Delta was lead my a hellish human known as Marcus. Second in command, was Dom. Equally hellish and fierce. Driven by the loss of his family. He's known to have a desire to chew though all Locust. Bal saw him shoot his wife point-blank. Luckily, when Delta started killing his outpost that had a few humans. He was smart enough to play dead and let them pass.
After that day. He saw just how much this war had costed. It wasn't worth it. He still didn't see why they had to fight. The Earth was plentiful and had space for all of it's creatures. The sea's held drink for all of them. Yet they still had too fight over something they can share. But, the COG destroyed almost all of plant life because of their usage of the Hammer of Dawn. Yeah, the locust did some damage by tunneling everywhere. But the HoDs did twice more.
A few weeks ago. Hela sent a squad of Smart Locust into the portal. They reported the COG had tried to build a checkpoint around the pad and that it can send them back. And the area was untouched by this foul war. They were going to send another expedition team to explore more, but the Delta Squad had other ideas.
A few minutes passed by and all the Cargo and Locust have been loaded on the Rig. All that was left to do was to push the countdown button.
A Wretch named Luc pressed the big red button that started the countdown on the explosives rigged all around the cavern. And jumped onto the wheels on the Derrick. Most of the other Locust sat on top. Their shoulders pressed together.
In the seconds it took for the porter to warm up. The only song that came to Ven's vast mind was an old song called Space Oddity by Chris Hadfield. Although he was considered brash and rough by human terms. Ven always was fond of music. So fond that he scavenged a few COG ear pieces and constructed a music player that played songs when pressed.
Although most Smart Locust make due with they can find on the Battlefield. Some groups give a member a job as the team's Engineer. His crew gave Jeke the title. Ven was quite handy with the wrench, but in the end, Jeke got the job.
He placed his flamethrower in between the legs and pressed the button. The driver of the mobile base voice began the countdown to blastoff. Some of the smaller Locust placed there heads in between their legs and prayed to anything that they don't get thrown off.

The calming song began playing in his right ear. While some of the other bodies started breathing heavily and tearing up. Ven simply closed his eyes and let his head relax, inviting the music flow though his head.

It was all over in a flash. It lasted no more then the blink of a eye. Not a single beast or creature could see the amazing show of lights as they crossed plans of existence.
Our favorite Grenadier was roughly shaken by Bal. Summoning him back to the real word. He took one glance at his surroundings and lost his breath.
All around them was life. Not the grey sad life, but the green that was only saw in dreams. Trees, half as high as the massive war machine they stood on top. Critters ran all around the wooden surfaces. But where there is prey, there's predators.
Most of the members were already down and building the camp by the time our gang got down. They had a large bonfire going on.
Since they were the last ones down. They were sent out to get the grub in this new world.

They never had to hunt down anything, except some humans with dogs. But they proven themselves pros. For they have caught a large white chicken with a horn or something protruding from it's head. They found it with two others, but they ran away when they saw them. This one wasn't as smart or fast.
While on their way back to the camp. Wolves made from wood -crazy right?- tried to get their catch away from them. Ven gave them a little tan and turned them to firewood with his flamethrower. The white chicken hid back in it's sack and stopped whimpering after that.
When the group returned to the hungry Locust. They were greeted as close friends and the catch was tied up and gagged then placed over the bonfire. They were about to start the fire, despite the muffled pleas from the foolish animal, when 6 things looking like the catch appeared from the treeline and barked something. Two of them had horns like the catch. This made them think that they were the parents of the creature.
When asking nicely didn't get them leave. Force seemed like a suitable option. The team that caught the catch was sent to scare the things off.
The crew stepped upon the scene with much swagger. Stopped in front of the catch and ordered that the Locust keeping the parents and the child away to disperse. The strange creatures stomped up and tried to bark another order to the gang. Failing because these creatures could not speak their tongue.
When they refuse to give the child back to the simple creatures. The blue one charge and tried to take the small one away. Bal aimed his rifle at the blue speedest and squeezed the trigger.
Hey, guys. I may be going off for a while. Might have to handle some work outside of town, eh? But I wanted to give you this before Judgement Day. And I'm thinking about adding a few more members to my operation.
Bal aimed his rifle and fired.
The burst of bullets grazed its right foreleg. Causing it to slam into the dirt face-first. The four-legged creature cried out in pain and gripped its injured foreleg. The beasts friends were about to charge to rescue their fallen friends. But Rae let loose a wave of rounds from his SMGs in front of the unknown creatures feet. The animals ran back into the treeline, screaming. Leaving behind fallen mates. A crime punishable by death on the battlefield.
The blue one, left by the only chance of escape and salvation, coward in the little dirt fort around it. Vels laughed darkly as he closed on it with his massive cleaver.
"Whoosh"
A light rose colored bolt of something shot the knife from the grip of The Butcher. The strange projectile came from the place where the chumps ran. A turquoise white one they haven't seen stood there. Covered in what looked like purple armor and a horn sticking out its forehead. Unlike the rest, this one's horn was glowing a light rose. Which led the behemoth to assume the blast came from this creature.
Angered by the lose of his blade, Vels pulled his Digger from its sling. Before the giant could release a dig. A massive explosion of light happen in front of them. Causing all of them to become blind.
When the light finally subsided. Another thing walked out. This one was bigger and had wings like the blue one and a horn. It had what looked like a tatto of the sun upon it's side and what appeared a moving rainbow attached to it's head. It had a fierce look plastered to it's alien face. Also, its horn was glowing.
"Whoosh"
"Clang"
The big white one shot a bolt of yellow stuff at Vels from it's horn. Jueo somehow moved fast enough to deflect the thing back with his shield. The bolt flew back to its sender. The beast ducked and the blast flew into a tree and left a scorched mark upon the bark. The shooter look in amazement at the mark.
The Mauler's shield spinning sounds brought the animal's attention back to him. Jueo let a battle cry escape his large throat and charged. The strange creature let loose a barrage of yellow stuff at the enraged Mauler. All of which were shrugged off or deflected. Within moments he closed in on the creature. Whose fate will be sealed for trying to attack a teammate.
The Mauler slammed his shield on the creature's side. Making it fall to the ground. Jueo raised his war-shield above the downed animal. To execute the beast.
"Wait!"
A loud, commanding voice spoke out, stopping the spinning shield from severing the thing's middle. The only thing keeping it there was the hand of the Mauler. Hela walked by the animal's side, took a knee, and looked deeply into the scared eyes of the animal.
When he was finished with the exam, he tasked some Wretch and a Ticker to bring it back to the soon-to-be bonfire.

The Ticker made contact with the same light rose bolt of energy from before. Causing it to burst into a fine blood mist. Luckily, he didn't have a imusion pack. The shot came from the other white one, with the purple armor. The crew's favorite Kantus was elected to do the killing.
Rae, clearly wanting to get this over with, pulled out one of his Gorgons and pointed it at the stupid creature.

The weapon flew from Rae's hand. Landing in a patch of grass not a foot away from him. The half-disarmed and dismayed Kantus thought the foolish creature would just give up and die. But it had fight in it. The Armored Kantus released a violent scream, making the white beast cover its ears with little hoof things that make up its arms.
The Shaman's scream brought out a creature from the green forest. A wolf, like the one they spotted while on the hunt, came to heed the call. A Kantus scream can do many things. One of which is manipulating simple creatures to do their will. the wolf did not come alone, Three more followed it. The white beast was too caught up in the painful screech to recognize the wooden threat approaching.
The four predators surround the idiot beast. The creature shook its head, ridding him of the awful ring that took place in both ears. The simple beast grew scared at the sight of the four wooden hunters that each took a place on a side of him. Readying themselves to devour it.
Hela watch this unfold from afar. He sat on a stump. He only laughed at the creatures resistance. He would have ran his Retro Lancer's bayonet though their little bodies.
As he watch the wooden beasties readying themselves to dine. The only being who could speak English scrambled to his side. A Ticker who toted around a ammo pack, instead of a Imusion pack. The leader normally wouldn't speak with such a creature. But since Hela was enjoying the show, he let the small beast talk.
"Sah,," The Ticker spoke with much caution. Hela wasn't too forgiving when it came to smaller things. "These thingies are speaking Englie!"

The submarine's living area were spacious, spacious enough for the Locust Crew to live in. Bal was cleaning his new rifle. Ven was adjusting the sights on his Boltlock. Ryder found an old COG Gear helmet and was playing Soldier or something. The others were either catching up, talking about random stuff, or breaking there new guns in.
The ride was going to take 2 hours or so. The plan was to hide back in the old tunnels. The lower and middle tunnels were filled with lmulsion, but some of the upper tunnels were still safe from the stuff. Least that's what they hoped.
While Jeke drove the submarine, the others decided to take stock in the armory.
Bal had 156 rounds for his Hammerburst I, and 32 rounds for his Markza.
Ven had 215 rounds for his Mk.1 Lancer, and 21 gallons of fuel for his new flamethrower. He also had his Boltlock pistol.
Vels still had his massive Cleaver. He had 5 shots for his Digger.
Jueo had his Elite Mauler Shield as well as his flail. He had 16 shots for his Booshka.
Ron had his Sawed-Offed shotgun with only 3 buckshots for it and his Snub Pistol.
Ryder has his Mk.2 Lancer with 269 rounds for it, he also had 23 shells for his Gnasher.
Jeke had his Longshot. He took off the scope and replaced it with Iron Sights
Rae had his suit of armor, his Hammerbust II with 132 rounds for it, both his Gorgon SMG's with 452 rounds in total.
Suddenly, the submarine violently shook, knocking over various things. After it was over, Jeke voice came over the Comms "We just had been hit by some rocks! Our engine is busted up, luckily I see our destination comin' up!

The CMC Clubhouse. Formerly used by Applejack, it now homes 3 files that call themselves The Cutie Mark Crusaders.
Being in the CMC wasn't easy. Always packed with excitement, adventure, treasures, action, and best of all, siting around.

The orange one piped up. "Ah got it girls!" she said with her high pitched voice "We can get our Cutie Marks in brewing! All we gotta do is go ask Zecora!"
Recently, there has been some strange things happening around The Everfree, but when isn't there? Some of the other members were a little scared, but from taunts of being a chicken, they all soon came along. When school is over, the plan was to sneak off to see Zecora. What could go wrong?
