Being famous isn't easy

"JAI HO!" sang the group of young ponies around the microphone as they completed the song and looked out at the empty room except for Pinky standing in the door way

"WOO WOO ENCORE ENCORE!" shouted Pinky smiling and clapping her hands and bouncing in her seat. "You're going to do great tonight." The group of Ponies blushed until Derpy finally spoke up.

"You really think so?" asked Derpy as her eye went all derped

"I know so." said Pinky nodding her head and her hair bounced with it.

"Well I'm not surpised with Lyra singing lead." said Bon Bon as Lyra blushed.

"Oh no, I mean it couldn't just be me." said Lyra lowering her head and inching backwards.

"It is, you are the only one of us that has a music cutie mark." said Berry punch hic-upping a little as she went to go drink more wine.

"But that's for the Lyre...." said Lyra blushing more and then smiled and shook her head. "Maybe we should practise one last song." the group of ponies nodded there heads and Derpy began strumming a guitar.

"Me and my derpy eyes...." sang Derpy laughing a little.

"Will you ever get that song finished?" asked Bon Bon as Derpy

"I will one day, it's the only song I haven't finished." said Derpy beginning to play the tune of one of her faviourite songs 'Moonlight alley' it didn't have words because they didn't need them and they would just hum to the tune.

"Moonlight shining, Moonlight bright the song of sorrow blazing light." sang Lyra she would always sing that one line so the song atleast had that and then the song finished and Derpy realised how tired everyone was.

"I'm pooped, I might hit the hay before tonight." said Berry Punch flicking her tail.

"I might join yah." said Bon Bon looking like she was going to fall asleep on her feet.

"I should get going." said Lyra flicking her ears and walking off with the others.

"Hey Derpy?" whispered Colgate walking up to Derpy.

"Yeah?" asked Derpy turning towards Colgate.

"What if everybody changes if we become famous?" asked Colgate looking at the ground.

"Everybody will be the same, they won't change and if they do..." said Derpy knocking over a chair with her rump. "I'll get them with this iron rump of mine." Colgate laughed and stopped worrying.

"Well see you tonight." said Colgate walking out the door and left Derpy by herself with Pinky asleep in a chair.

"See yah." said Derpy looking at the lyric sheet and continued writing her song.
