Being famous isn't easy

Derpy sat on the make shift stage and tuned her guitar waiting for it to be 5 o'clock so the concert would start and ponies could start walking in, Pinky had made the counter a bar so the ponies could have a drink if they wanted but Derpy didn't think it was necessary but let Pinky do it anyway.

"Hey Derpy guess what I heard." said Colgate walking up to Derpy.

"What?" asked Derpy looking at Colgate who smiled.

"Golden records is coming." said Colgate with a toothy grin

"WHAT!" shouted Derpy as Colgate mentioned the name of the world renowned record producer who discovered famous ponies like Vinyl scratch and Octavia.

"Yeah he said he was looking for some new talent so he came to see us perform." said Colgate closing her mouth and started bouncing with excitement

"This could be our big break did you tell the others?" asked Derpy and Colgate nodded her head and then looked towards the clock that chimed telling them it was five o'clock so they went back stage and watched as a tale gray furred stallion walked in, he had a slate gray mane and tail and had a golden record disk as a cutie mark.

"I'm so nervous." whispered Lyra as they watched more ponies walk in and the curtain go up soon after and Lyra walked on stage with the rest of the band.

"Jai ho, Jai ho." they sang together

"I got shivers when you touch that way," sang Lyra looking at the crowd and feeling the hot lights pouring over her.

"I'll make you hot, get all you got." sang Derpy as they danced to the rhythm

"I'll make you wanna say." Colgate said the line and they continued singing.

"JAI HO! JAI HO!" sang the group feeling happy as they sang.

Derpy sighed as she swept the floor of the Cupcake corner it had been a week since they had performed and they had heard nothing from Golden Record though they weren't the best group and Derpy wasn't surprised, they weren't the most talented group he could have chosen but the cheers from the crowd was that tiny bit of hope Derpy had.

"Um excuse me is miss Derpy hooves here?" asked a youngs brown stallion, he had a hour glass as a cutie mark.

"Yes?" asked Derpy putting down the broom and walking up to the stallion

"Well I came here to tell you that Golden Record wants to create a music video," said the Brown stallion smiling as Derpy's eyes lit up like light bulbs."Well miss Derpy congratulations," the stallion went from his equestrian accent to a bitish one. "also would you like some tea and crumpets?" Derpy laughed and then smiled.

"I'll have to take you up on the offer." said Derpy as the stallion smiled again.

"By the way my names Time Turner." said Time Turner placing a note on the table that had all of Golden Records details and even a few of Time Turners own and then started walking out the door but was stopped by derpy.

"Do you want to have some muffins they would have been sold but business has been slow." said Derpy hoping a tiny bit that Time Turner would stay and TIme Turner walked back in.
