As The Rush Comes
Octavia's life never did anything fun. Sometimes she feels like she's doomed to play the cello and study basic school skills for the rest of her life, all under the watchful eye of her strict mother. That is, until somepony pulls her out of
Octavia comes from a straight-laced, strict family with no leeway when it comes to her freedom. When her family moves due to her father's business, she finds that she's still just as trapped as she was in her old city. She still has to balance the most difficult classes, orchestra, and private cello lessons, as well as anything else her mother desires her to do. Without an out, she's quickly become a bitter, snooty snob of a filly.
But when she meets Vinyl Scratch, a wild, raucous pony that's her dream and opposite in every way, her entire life is tossed into turmoil-a whirlpool that she may or may not make it out of the same pony as she was before.
