Living with Lyra

Chapter 6: Reipu

It has been 5 days since helping Applejack and have learnt that Bon Bon owns a candy store and Lyra works there with her. I have been helping them by doing errands like getting supplies for making some of the sweets and today after work I put my hat in my room and went flying. It is about 3:30pm "The mountain makes the sunsets look like I'm laying on my side, wait sunset, where is the town centre clock, Lyra wanted help with getting ingredients for, Bon Bon's Birthday cake." I squinted to see the town clock "3:30... SHIT I NEED TO GET TO HOME NOW," I yelled as I started flying as fast as I could.

I got home with Lyra waiting for me at the front door. "Okay, I'm here," I said as I landed while panting.

"That was some fast flying, you were really trying to get here on time," Lyra said a bit amazed at how fast I flew.

"I know that I'm late, I'm not the perfect stallion and we can leave without my hat, I don't need it," I replied still panting.

"Well, okay lets go," Lyra said back a bit unsure if I was okay.

After a bit of walking to the stores I asked "Um, Lyra you know my talent is not baking or anything to do with cakes right... so why do you want me to come."

"Oh, you know it is starting to get late and maybe I like spending time with you," Lyra said getting quite near the end of the sentence and blushed a bit.

I turned my head away as I also was blushing a bit.

Soon after Lyra looked at my mane and asked "By the way I have never seen your mane messy."

"My parents say when my mane is like this it looks like a mare could have it," I replied.

Lyra giggled  "I'll tell you the truth that your mane don't look like a mane for a mare,"

“It was only until I planned on coming here I started really cleaning up my mane,” I was quick to add on.

It was about 4:10 pm, Lyra and I were leaving the store while she was asking "You sure she will like strawberries on the cake?".

"Am I the mare that is her best friend, no I'm not and from what I can gather from growing up with two sisters is that mares like strawberries and you can use your magic to dip the strawberries in melted chocolate if needed," I said reassuringly.

Lyra looked at a street side clock. "Um, Drag, we need to get back home now we stayed at the shop for too long." Lyra points her hoof down a backstreet "We’ll  need to go down there."

I looked at the dark backstreet  "Are you sure about that, Lyra, will it get us home faster and is it safe?".

Lyra was quick to answer me "I have no idea if it is safe but I do know that if we take that way we will get home before, Bon Bon,"

"Well... okay," I  replied concerned with the decision.

We were walking through the backstreet and then I thought to myself "It quite dark here, you would think there would be more light."

Out of hiding two ponies came out and tackled me then one took one big punch to my stomach.

I let out a small grunt of pain that grabbed the attention of Lyra to turn around and then the two ponies who were stallions pinned me up a wall with one on my top legs and the other on my bottom legs.

Lyra gasped and let out my name with shock  "DRAGA."

Lyra was yet to notice but yet another stallion appeared but he was behind her and in a tuxedo  "I wouldn't say anything so loud if I was you."

Lyra was terrified as she slowly turned around and whimpered  "Who are you and what do you want?".

The stallion didn’t listen to her and put his right hoof on her cheek "What a fine, young, unicorn, mare we have here, you just call me Reipu".

"YOU GET AWAY FROM HER," I yelled.

Reipu looked at me with a smug look "Don't think I have forgotten you, boys show this basted how we treat stallions like him."

The stallion on my top legs took his left hoof and punch me in the face two times.

I gave a smug smile back. "If you think that is going to put me down… you are some weak cunts," I said.

Reipu looks angry and with Lyra shaking in fear "So you think you the tough guy, boys don't stop until I see him crying."

The stallion on my top legs pulled his leg back for another punch but with all my power focused in my right leg and hoof I punched the stallion in the face and a blue fire blasted from my hoofs on impact. The punch pushed the stallion back to land on the ground on his back but before he landed I punch the other stallion on my bottom legs in the face with my left hoof and with him not putting much pressure on my legs I pulled my right bottom leg and kicked him in the face, both of them were unconscious.

Both Lyra and Reipu gasped at the blue fire from the punch and the speed of my movement.

"Those morons can't even take one punch but now it looks like I will have to do this myself," said Reipu as he started charging at me.

I stood on just my hind legs and put my top hoofs 10 centimetres(4 inches) apart and then a small growing red fireball formed in the middle of the gap and when Reipu got too close for him to get away I pulled my right hoof and made a uppercut punch with the fireball hitting Reipu in-between the front legs.

Reipu flew 2.5 meters (98.5 inches) up into the air and soon landed flat on the ground also unconscious.

Everything is going dark, I can't keep conscious.
