The sun was starting to rise that morning and dew was on the beautiful olive trees that stood proudly on the rolling hills. Lyra was awake, sitting on the porch, admiring the beautiful scenery, when a tear rolled down her cheek.

How wonderful is it that a mortal being could be so close to such beauty.

As the tear dropped, Bonbon came onto the porch.

"Lyra, what's the matter?! Are you ok?!" she asked.

Lyra jumped at being startled.

"Oh, don't sneak up on me like that! I was only looking at the trees. they must be a thousand years old!" said Lyra.

"Um, Lyra............there isn't any trees." Stated Bonbon. "I've been worried about your visions lately. Dr. Stethoscope has told me that you'd never get better. For Celestia's sake Lyra, he told me that he may have to take you away to a funny farm! You don't want to leave, do you?!"

"No, I don't. But I can't stop what's there. Don't you see-"

Lyra was about to finish what she was saying when she realized that the trees, the rolling hills, and the sunshine was all gone.

It was raining, and they were outside their house next to the library.

"But I swear it was there!!! Can't you believe me?!" The mint-green mare shouted.

The only answer she got was a faint smile. A few seconds passed, then Bonbon said

"Come on, let's go inside. We don't want to catch a cold, now do we?"

"Of course not." lyra said unhappily.

It hurt her to think that her own best friend would think she had schizophrenia.

Only if I could prove to her that nothing's wrong with me, then maybe she would believe that this isn't a lie!
