Today was lyra's big day. The day when she got a job at the library.

"Oh, this is fantastic!" Bonbon said, "It will bring your mind off your visions!" Lyra frowned.

"But my visions are real. And I think they mean something." Bonbon sighed. All this nonsense was just too much for her. "Lyra, I know you believe it's real, but I haven't seen it. No one else has seen it. It's fake."

Bonbon started to walk back into the house, in hopes that lyra would head off to work, but then she heard a mumble from behind her.

"I'm sorry, what was that?" She asked. Lyra spoke up.

"You're just like Thomas."

Those words hit bonbon like a block of ice.

"Who, or what is Thomas?!" She asked.

"Doubting Thomas. He didn't believe in Jesus, the son of Jehovah, until he saw. But believing is what we do. Bonbon, have you ever seen princess celestia in real life?" Lyra asked.

Bonbon was still in shock from what she heard.

"Umm........no. No I haven't. But I know she's real." Lyra now had the upper hand.

"Exactly! You believe, yet you've never seen her! how do you know she's real?" Bonbon was at a loss of words. Lyra still had strength to stand up for what she believed. It was great, yet Bonbon didn't like where this was going.

"Who exactly is Jehovah, or Jesus?" She asked.

"I don't know. It was one of my old visions." Lyra said. "Lyra, how about you stay home today. You seem like you need more rest." Bonbon said, in a comforting tone.

Lyra didn't mind that the subject was being changed. Bonbon couldn't get it, even if she tried.

"Alright, I suppose Twilight probably wouldn't mind having me missing one day." Lyra said. Bonbon smiled.

"Of course she wouldn't mind, she's kind enough to acknowledge that you have visions and understand." Bonbon said.

Lyra was sitting on the couch when she smelled something very sweet.

"What's that?" she asked.

Bonbon came out of the kitchen, carrying the scent in her mane.

"I'm just making cinnimon rolls." Bonbon said.

"Mmm........well, they smell delicious!" Lyra said.

"Thank you." Said the cream-colored mare.

"It's the kind with the frosting inside it."

"Wow. that sounds even more delicious. When can I have some?!" Lyra whined.

Bonbon started to walk back into the kitchen.

"You can't have any. I have to bring them back to sugarcube corner tomorrow."

Lyra sighed. "dammit."

As Bonbon was walking away, Lyra said

"Wait a minute, come over here." Bonbon obeyed.

Lyra sniffed Bonbon's mane.

"Mmm......that smells delicious.

"Haha, umm Lyra, what are you doing?" Bonbon asked nervously.

"Just smelling your mane." Lyra said.

Bonbon was confused. Lyra sat there, smelling her, staring into her blue eyes for a few minutes.

"Lyra, why are you smelling my mane?" Bonbon asked.

"I told you, it smells good." Said the mint-green mare.

"well, that's obvious." Bonbon replied.

"Why are you staring at me like that?" She asked.

Lyra smiled.

"Because your eyes are the most perfect shade of blue in all of Equestria."

Bonbon was scared. Is Lyra on drugs?!

"Lyra, please tell me your reason for this. Now." She frowned.

Lyra stopped.

"I have no idea. I just like how you look. And smell."

Bonbon was immediately afraid. She knew that after sight and smell came taste.

"Oh dear, don't tell me your gonna taste me now, are you?!" Bonbon asked frantically.

"If you'll let me." Lyra said.

At that moment, Bonbon's eyes were wide open, as if she were a dear in the headlights.

"Hehe, I think the cin-in-imin-n-imons are d-done." She stuttered.

As quickly as she could, Bonbon ran into the kitchen, just to realize she could only open the oven with the help of Lyra's magic.

For Celestia's sake, why do we have a unicorn oven?!

As fast as she could, she ran out the door, all the way to sugarcube corner.

Pinkie Pie was just finishing an order for Angel bunny's birthday cake, when Bonbon burst into the door.

"Whoa, what's up Bonbon? You look like you just saw a ghosty!" Pinkie said.

"It's a long story." Said Bonbon.

"Oh, can I help?" Asked the pink mare.

"No, it's just a problem with Lyra. You know how she is. But thank you for asking." Said Bonbon.

Pinkie smiled, her usual, extremely happy smile.

"Okie dokie lokie!"

Bonbon felt better, being at a very joy-filled place, without all the sadness that went on at home. Sure, Lyra was a great friend, and they were truly insperable, but when Lyra got confused with reality and fantasy, it was troublesome to tell her the difference. But then again, Lyra had 10 times more imagination than the average pony. It was exciting to brag about being her bff. But now, she just needed time to figure out what the hell just happened.
