Chapter 2: An odd visitor

"It's ok, I won't hurt you like those other of my kind!" The candlelight revieled a black, hole filled changeling that had green eyes, instead of the regular blue, and he looked like he walked for miles in a dark forest without food or clean water for days and was mistreated somehow.

Fluttershy was just quivering and she coud barely say, "O-ok..?"

"You could call me #507," The changeling said, then coughed and said something that sounded like a curse in a different language. "Sorry, it's just that it hard speaking in your, language. In fact, beside my old voice, I am fairly young!" The raspy voice was a bit more pony sounding in this little part, and it's scaley quality wasn't there. He just sounded like he had to cough for about, five more minutes.

"Ok," Fluttershy barely managed to whisper. She sounded like all she was going to say, until she could truly trust "#507", was yes and ok. She wasn't one to argue with a shape shifter.

507 just was playing with his hooves like they were puzzle pieces when he looked up from his "game" only to say, "You wouln't mind if I came with you to what ever you were doing tomorrow?"

Then Fluttershy looked both surprised and almost offended at the thought of someone possibly following- more or less, stalking -her through her home then running back to a forest for the rest of the day. She had a new tone in her voice, like a little angry, "Are you saying you followed me?"

"No - well, yes, but-"

"I do NOT appreciate being followed by some stranger who's name is some sort of number. So, no, you can't come. But if you wait here, in what ever form you can that won't seem suspicious, BUT NOT ME, you can tell me whatever you want and I will tell you about the meeting."

"Ok."

They shake on it, and the changeling turns into a filly. "Better?" he managed to say in a squeaky voice.

Fluttershy was happy about the voice and body change. "Better," she agreed in a soothing voice.

They shook hooves again, and filly #507 slept on the couch, and when Fluttershy climbed in bed, she just couldn't sleep.

"Wow, Fluttershy, you look a whole lot calmer today then yesterday," Twilight commented.

All Fluttershy could think about is the changeling she left at home. "I hope he will be all right..." She murmured.

"What was thait?" A.J., the closest one to her, was the only one who heard.

"What?" Rainbow Dash swooped down from where she was hanging out on a cloud she brought in and flew up to Fluttershy, "What is Apple Jack talking about, Fluttey?"

"Eep!" She looked surprised that somepony heard her. "Nothing!"

"I never knew that I had to agree to staying a different form a whole day" - groaned #507, as he itched at the floor - "or maybe I could've picked one that had better qualities, like a pegasus, or maybe unicorn."

Knock! Knock! Knock!

His eyes went wide with fear. "Awwww snap."

"You WHAAAT?!" Rainbow Dash was shocked at what information she (with help from the mane 6, but she took all the glory in the interview) pried out of Fluttey.

Pinkie Pie's mane was more flat then at other times, but then it fluffed back up, as she joyfully exclaimed, "YAY! SHAPESHIFTER PARTY!" She pulled out a popper and confetti went everywhere.

"Pinkie, this is serious. I think we should check- wait, where's Fluttershy?" Twiley and the others were left standing there, distracted by pinkie and her excitment about a changeling party (which, in my opinion, has got to be epic.).

They then realized that Twiley was gone, too.

"We're going, NOW!" Fluttershy rushed in, took the little filly form of #507 on her back, and rushed out of the tavern towards the everfree forest.

"Wait, where are we going?" The changeling changed back to his original form and was flying over head as they sped into the forest.

Soon enough, they found a cave and stayed in there for the rest of the day.

What they didn't know about was the mess 507 made while he was there, and that Fluttershy flew in so fast that when she stopped, it sent things like papers everywhere. She also forgot to shut the door.

"What went on here?" The mane 6 had arrived, and Twilight just teleported into the living room.

Rarity's head popped out from the stairway that led up to Flutter's room. "It's as if a window was left open and a breeze came in, but the papers are all closer to the shut window then normal."

"This just doesn't make sense. Why would Fluttershy leave her home in such a mess, UNLESS,"

"Unless what?" Rainbw Dash asked, wanting to go on an adventure like crazy.

"We can't let anybody know she is gone."

"Why? It's not like people are coming to her house every day about animals-" Rarity was starting when a pony walked in.

Vinyl said, "Hey, can I have a pe- woaaaahh, what happened here?"

Rarity then corrected her earlier statement by saying, "This is going to be harder then we thought."
