The Voice of Harmony

            Reality started fading in as Scar began to wake up. He could hear voices around him, and he wanted to talk back, but all he could do was watch for a moment.

      "What do you think happened, why is he a pony now?" Dash asked Twilight, utterly confused.

      "I have no idea. But I have a feeling he would be dead if it hadn't happened." Twilight answered.

      "Girls 'e's awake." Applejack said while staring at Scar.

      "Scar how'd you get your gear back, and where is it now." Dash asked, her face less than an inch from his.

      "I'll tell you when I'm feeling better, but since I can't summon him to ask him. Twilight would you mind telling me what got you flustered this morning?" Scar asked with a grin on his face.

      "Um I'll tell you later." She said quickly as she started to blush.

      "I am sorry about how I treated you earlier, you saved so many lives and from what Twilight told me, you expected to die, but you smiled anyway." A familiar voice said, as the solar princess entered the room.

      "Well good morning sunshine," Scar said joking about her power. "As for what you said, I have nearly died many times. If I had died back there it probably would have been the best way so far. Also the reason I was smiling was because I remembered what a wise man once said. 'Do not be sad now that the good times are over, smile because they happened.'" When Scar said this, every pony was put into deep thought by just how right this was.

         "Anyway I must ask if you think any more of those portals will appear." Celestia stated.

         "No, they will not. Meridia assured me so." When Scar said this, the mane 6 cringed slightly, as they had remembered the Daedric Princes. "And before you ask, yes she is the reason I still breathe, she sent me my armor. So that I could protect the light of this realm."

        "So hold on one of those demonic rulers helped you save us." Twilight asked nervously, Scar nodded. "Also why haven't you healed yourself yet?"

         Scar sighed, "Because in return for me having this body and my life, she took away my powers." At this everypony's eyes got wide.

        "You mean you have up all of your powers in order to save us?" The group asked in unison, he nodded.

        "I am certain that I have one more use of each of my once a day powers." After he said this he started to glow green and he got out of the hospital bed. "That was my last use of Mora's Boon, it completely rejuvenated me."

        "So what other abilities can you use just one more time?" Pinkie asked.

        "Well before I summon my butler for the last time, Celestia could I exchange each of my gold septims for a bit? You can melt down the septims and use them for whatever you want. By the way I would like to get a house in Ponyville, as my Butler will be bringing A Lot of stuff." Scar said as they walked out of the hospital.

        "Of course you may, it would be unjust to not allow the pony that saved the town keep the fortune from his world." Celestia said calmly.

        The group was about to start a new subject, when a familiar sound caught their attention. They turned around to see Lucien standing there, smiling. "Hello Ex-Listener." As he said this everyone was slightly frightened. "A new Listener will take your place. But because of all you have done for the brotherhood, Sithis has given me the power to summon myself to you." He then turned his head to Twilight. "Hello Miss Sparkle, you slept with Scar lately?" He asked while smiling, Twilights' and Scars' eyes went wide and she blushed furiously. All was silent for a moment, even Celestia lost her composure.

        "Wait you WHAT!?!" Dash finally broke the silent with a shout.

        "Not like that!" Twilight screamed. "We were both just insanely tired so I fell asleep with my head on his shoulder!" She then scowled at Lucien for making such an awkward moment.

        Rainbow Dash then started laughing incredibly hard. "Holy crap! That has to be one of the best ways to prank somepony!" Applejack shut her up by bucking her into a wall.

        "Hey as much as I know your pissed, if you saw what I saw you would have called it adorable." He said as he got closer to his former master and current friend. Twilight just blushed again.

        "Okay well now that that awkward moment is out of the way, Celestia where might I be able to stay?" Scar asked

        "Oh I almost forgot," Lucien said while holding out his hand. "This is a gift from Sithis." He handed Scar a cube. "Throw it wherever you want your home." Scar decided to toss it to the outskirts of Ponyville.

       A small shack formed around where the cube landed. "It's kinda small don't you think?" Dash asked Scar.

      "Check the inside, and tell me if you still think so." Lucien told her. The group proceeded into the ancient looking shack and upon entry everyone save for Celestia's jaw dropped. The inside of the construction was the size of the castle in canterlot.

      "How?" Was all Twilight could ask as she stared at the impossible structure.

      "The doorway was a portal to the void, where Sithis can create anything from nothing. He made this." Lucien said as he walked into the next room, revealing a dining hall that was very familiar.

      "Lucien. Is this Castle Volkihar?" They turned to see Scar, whose face was now plastered with fear.

      "No, but it is a replica. Minus some of the 'bad' decor." A wave of relief washed over Scar's face.

      "Scar what's wrong. What's Castle Volkihar?" Twilight asked and everyone looked at Scar inquisitively.

      "Tell you what. I will tell you, once you hear the rest of my stories first. Say, one every evening?" The group beamed at the mention of his stories that he would gladly tell, and that they are currently in a castle from one that had specific significance.

      "Yeah of course, hey can we hear one of the stories tonight. I really wanna have a sleepover since I couldn't throw you a welcome to Ponyville party!" Pinkie yelled as she popped out of nowhere.

      "Sure, in fact I'll tell you the longest one. My story of being a Dragonborn." After he said that the ponies all went silent, as their eyes wen as wide as possible.

       He began by telling them the events of Helgen, followed by his travel to Whiterun and then Ironbind barrow. Along with the slaying of his first dragon, then the summons of the Graybeards. He proceeded this way for many hours, but nonetheless they all listened attentively. He was now at the part where he summoned and tamed Odahviin. Rainbows' eyes were especially wide for that part, as she had rid on its' back. When he finally told them that he had in fact killed the son of the dragon god Akatosh, it looked like their eyes were goin to explode, while Celestia's looked like they contained fear. "-then I was returned to Riverwood, the town I had first visited once I escaped from Helgen."

         "Wow, I knew you were powerful, but, wow." Everyone looked at Twi as she realized she was so in awe she made the least intelligent reaction possible. "-I mean, that's very impressive." Lucien chuckled the same way he did during that incident.

         "You should write all of this down, you could give the author of Daring Doo a run for her money." Rainbow said as she stared at the adventurous pony.

         "Anyway we should be getting to sleep. If I remember correctly, the guest rooms should be up those stairs and down the right hall." The girls nodded and each of them said good night before thy found three rooms, each with two beds. However Celestia had returned to Canterlot before anyone noticed.

         "Hey Fluttershy, what do you think of Scar anyway?" Dash asked her roommate.

         "Well, I think I can trust him. But I still think he's scary." She said comfortably to her childhood friend.

         "I like him, he only just met us, and he was still willing to die for us." She said while staring at the ceiling.

         "I think he's fascinating, and I really think he's nice." Twilight said looking at AJ.

         "I think he's nice too....... But, he seems like he's hiding something I had a feeling before but the moment he actually asked about the castle, it seemed like he was frightened." She said with concern plastered on her face. "Ahm just saying we should watch em."

        "I am so throwing him a house warming party." Pinkie said as her smile lines extended beyond her face.

        "He reminds me of somepony, but I can't remember exactly." Rarity said with slight worry. "I'm not sure but he both comforts me and frightens me."

          "So what do you think about them." Lucien asked his old friend.

          "I think that I can never expect them to fully trust me until they know what I am, but they may not like me afterwards."

7:00 AM

"Come on! Rise and shine everypony, I'd like to tell another story over breakfast." At the sound of food something happened that no one expected, Dash didn't wake up last.

"So what story are you going to tell today?" Twilight looked more eager than any of the other pony to hear the stories.

"This morning I will tell you one of two stories, I can tell you my work in the Thieves Guild," everyponies' eyes were wide when he admitted to being a thief. "Or I can tell you about my time at the Mages' College in Winterhold." Everyponies' expression could tell which one they picked, except for Dash, who frowned at the word 'College'.

"Alright well I guess Dash doesn't want to hear about the ancient strongholds I went through to gain one of the magical artifacts that helped me save Skyrim for the fourth time." At the words 'ancient stronghold' Dash immedietly lit up. "Okay so it all started with a single spell in order to get in....." He told the story of how he entered along with the ward spell and even about the other three students that were there. He told them about the narcissistic cat, and how he always referred to himself in the third person.

"Hey that sounds a lot like that lying illusionist, Trixie." The group said almost in sync.

"Well, as full of himself as J'Zargo is he is actually incredibly strong." The girls were a bit taken back by this, although they weren't exactly surprised. "Anyway......" Scar then told them about his first lesson in the ward spells, and explained that he used one of the stronger ones to protect himself from the dragons flame before. He then told about the college field trip to the ancient ruins, and how he and his teacher fought undead all the way down to discover the Eye of Magnus. About an half an hour passed as he told of the rest of the adventures along with the betrayal of Ancano. And the challenges of the Labyrinthian, he made sure to tell them about the skeletal dragon and the ancient undead dragon priest guarding the Staff of Magnus. It eventually got to the point where the story came to a close. "After that I said goodbye to all of my new friends, except for J'Zargo he came with me, he was helpful and the way he spoke was kind of funny."

"Wow." Twilight said again, in the least impressive tone possible, she then caught what she said....... again.

"Is that going to be a usual thing for you Twilight?" Scar asked, slightly chuckling.

"Anyway, can you give me a hint as to why you seemed down when Lucien told you which castle this place was." Rarity asked, and was followed by the stares of all of her friends.

"Gah! Ugh, I will tell you this and only this, one of my incredibly close friends lived here, her name was Serana." His voice was almost as inaudible as Fluttershy's when he said that last part. "Whatever though, I've got to get moved in." He summoned his butler.

"Yes sir."

"Since this is the last time I'm going to be able to summon you, I want all of my stuff, I want my trophies to line the walls of this place." The butler simply waved his hands and suddenly the entire building now had a series of swords, staves, bows, shields, armor, and other pieces of equipment lining it. Accompanied by an enormous pile of gold in the very center of the room. "Yeah that's about all the gold I had, although I don't see what good it'll do here, I suppose you can just move it into one of the back rooms." The butler moves the pile and then vanished for the last time.

"WAIT WAIT WAIT! So you're like a frigging millionaire?!?" Dash exclaimed.

"Well, yeah." He said as he sighed. "But I don't really need it, after all I still have all of my stuff, regardless of if it has any power or not." He said as he started to smile. "Listen, I am willing to tell my stories anytime all of you are willing to listen. But for now I'd like to try and make a new life for myself, besides I'm sure you all have something to do for yourselves right now." Scar said before he started to walk outside.

"Girls I'm sorry but I don't trust 'im." Applejack said as soon as Scar was out of ear shot.

"What!? He's like one of the most awesomest ponies I've ever met!" Dash said while scowling at AJ, "Plus he saved our lives when he thought he was going to die, that has to count for something AppleJack."

"Ahm not sayin' Ahm ungrateful, I haven't sensed him lie yet but, but it doesn't feel like he's telling us everything either." She said strongly.

"Do you expect him to darling. The poor fellow just left his world and got dropped into ours and had to save our lives twice at the cost of all of his abilities. He is allowed to have a few secrets." Rarity said, actually without insulting anyone's fashion.

"In all seriousness I have to agree with both of you." As Fluttershy spoke everyone in the room turned to look at her.

"What do you mean Fluttershy."

"Well...... He is definetly looking out for us, but when I looked into his eyes when he was talking about this place, I saw...... fear. Whatever his secret is it's something big enough that he is terrified of telling us it." The weight of these words were not carried by their sound, and everypony suddenly felt slightly insecure.

"Well, I still think that he is just paranoi-" Dash was cut off by a pink blur.

"WHAT IF HE'S A VAMPONY!!!!!" Pinkie screamed at the top of her lungs.

"PINKIE!" Twilight shouted, "Have you seriously not learned your lesson since Nightmare Night? You can't just go shouting things like that."

"Sorry Twilight, but I can't think of a secret so big, that someone who would just casually tell us he was a thief would be scared to tell." Pinkie said as her hair almost straightened.

"It's fine Pinkie, but we should probably let him gather his thoughts on this, we can't force him to tell us."

"So how do you plan on telling them." Lucien asked the worried warrior.

"I have no idea, how am I supposed to tell them this. About Serana, about her father, about the Dawnguard? Especially when I just find out I might be able to talk to her again."
