The Voice of Harmony

         He walked through Ponyville, for the first time in a long time, he had nothing to do. He decided perhaps he should get to know everypony, but he decided that he wanted to be alone instead.

         "Hey! Is your name Scar?" He turned around to see a small filly with an orange coat and purple mane.

         "Yeah that's me, so what can I do for ya."

         "Well I just wanted to thank you for saving Rainbow Dash, but I never got the chance."

         "Well your welcome. I don't suppose there is anything in this town I could really do at the moment."

         "Weeeeeeeellll. There is one thing you cou-" there was a loud crash coming from the Everfree.

         "ONE DAY IS THAT REALLY TOO MUCH TO ASK!" He shouted as he ran towards the forest.

         He gets there to see that his friends were already there. There. Was. A. Fucking. Hydra. "What in oblivion is that doing here." He said as the hydra started to approach them and the town. Twilight and Rarity combined their magic and formed a sphere around the hydra, attempting to keep it contained. However it started slamming its heads against it. Already starting to shatter it.

       "Somepony help please!" Twilight shouted as the last of the field shattered.

       "Hold on!" He shouted as he got between the hydra and his friends, almost like he forgot he lost his powers. The hydra smacked him out of the way using one of its forelegs. It was now standing in front of his friends, all four heads ready to strike. "No! Don't you dare hurt my friends!" There was a loud sound but nopony looked over at Scar they were too terrified of the hydra. One of the heads came down, only to be sent straight towards Scar, and then smacked straight into a tree by Scars' claws. The mane six looked over at Scar, only to be terrified at the sight of the Vampire Lord, that was before them. For a few seconds he was moving incredibly quickly, but without effort and he punched straight through one of the hydras' necks. They other heads roared and dove for him. But he vanished in a swarm of bats and reappeared on the back of the beast. He slammed his claw straight through its back grabbed the part of the spine that connected to each of the heads, and snapped it. Much to the horror of the ponies witnessing this, Fluttershy had already passed out. While almost all of the others have thrown up. He hopped down before summoning a gargoyle inside another one of the hydras' throats, you can guess what happened from that. The last two hydras roared, not in anger as much as pain. He through two absorb health orbs at the left remaining heads, sending it either into a coma, or into the next life. Finally he grabbed the last head using telekinesis he brought up his claw and was about to ring it down to end the last head.

       "STOP!" Scar turned around to see his friends with tears in their eyes. "Please, you won, just stop." He lowered his claw before staring back at his friends.

       "I'm sorry." The sadness and fear in his voice could be felt by the friends that were still concious, before he vanished once again in a swarm of bats that flew towards his home.

Twilight checked on her friends to make sure they were okay, and without exchanging words, they knew she had to go after him. 'What was that, did he lose control? No he was perfectly in control, his moves were precise and well executed.... Wow could I have picked a worse choice of words for that, NEVERMIND.'

As soon as he got in the door he reverted from his vampiric form. He was crying heavily, he grabbed the blood cursed elven arrows and darted towards the old tower.

Twilight ran into the castle about a minute after him, "Scar! Scar! Where'd you go?!?" She found herself quickly rushing through one of the doors she had not yet opened, to find herself in a garden. She noticed there were plates showing the phases of the moon, and that one of the plates had been misplaced, this was a horrible time for her OCD to kick in she thought, but as she slid the plate into place a new entrance began to open up. "Woah, didn't expect that to happen." She then shook off her feeling of awe and remembered her insane worry for her friend. She made her way through the ancient labyrinth of a castle, she could have sworn the statues were staring at her, but she continued to rush. Near the end she saw what looked to be a fireplace, however the back had slid away revealing another room. At the top of the walk-way she saw Scar gathering up various ingredients and placing them into a brazier.

        "What are you doing?" Scar turned around to see a crying Twilight.

        "Twilight, I'm a monster in this world, you'd be better off without me." He said before dropping the blood cursed arrow in the brazier. The floor below started to move and glow, Twilight gasped as the portal opened. "Only vampires can move through this portal, I will make sure to close. It once I am through."

        "Why!" She screamed while looking at Scar. "You've saved us THREE times in less than a week! What makes you think that we're better without you?!?" She screamed at the vampire.

        "Twilight I'm too powerful, and that power is evil." He choked out hose words.

        "I don't care if your power is evil! Your power is under your control you proved that today, you're my friend, your our friend. If you just explain, we won't tell anypony. Please." The two stared at eachother for what seemed like an eternity, the only sound that could be heard were the sobs of the distraught and partially furious Twilight. "You would rush into battle expecting to die for us, and when we find out that you have a dark ability you want to turn and leave out of fear of hurting us. Why don't you ever just stop and think about how we feel?! If you had died that day, NONE of us would have forgiven ourselves or YOU!" Her cries were getting louder, and he was starting to tear up himself. He was about to speak, but was interrupted by something he thought impossible.

        "Well Scar, what have you done this time." They both turned to see a slender human female, with black hair,  royal attire and glowing orange and black eyes. "I never pictured you as one to make a girl cry." Twilight stared in confusion and fear for a second. Her eyes locked with those of the newcomer, they had a bad hunger to them. She was terrified of her, but at the same time, comforted. Twilight looked over to Scar to see what his take on this was, but for a moment he just stared, with the expression of complete and utter shock on his face.

        "Serana!" Scar shouted before running straight to her and hugged her, she was surprised incredibly, but nonetheless returned the embrace. "I thought you died!" Twilight felt everything click in her head.

         "I did, but Durvehniir brought me to the Soul Cairn, I can't return to Nirn, but this isn't Nirn." She said to the now tearless pony. "So how is it that you're eh, you're a pony now huh?" She asked attempting to stifle her laughter.

         "Hello, I'm still a little out of the loop." Twilight said to the reunited pair.

         "Sorry Twi, I'd like you to meet the two thousand year old princess of the vampires Serana." Twilights' eyes were now bulging out of her head as she stared at Serana. "Well I guess technically you're actually the queen now."

         "Wait what?" Twilight said confused by this whole situation.

         "We'll explain in a bit, get everyone together, except for Celestia, being as she tried to arrest me just for my strength I don't know what she would do if she found out we're vampires." Twilight reluctantly nodded.

Half an hour later

        Once we finally got Fluttershy to stop fainting and convinced Pinkie to stop trying to stake us we were finally able to talk. "Okay now, before you try to kill us again let us explain. Vampires are not inherently evil, we have choices like everyone else, and trying to kill us in specific is probably the worst idea you could think of." Their faces were full of curiosity. "Not only is Serana the queen of the vampires, but I am the king." Everypony gasped at this. "Vampires do not burn in the sun, but they are weaker. We do not need blood to live, it just strengthens us against the sun." Everypony let out a sigh of relief. "Any questions?"

        "Is Serana your sister or wife." Rarity was the first one to ask a question, which was kinda surprising.

        "Neither," he started blushing. "I'm hoping she sees herself as my girlfriend, but that is the most we are."

        "Which one of you is royal by birth?" Twilight asked, her inquiry was a near radiation.

        "I am." Serana said to the purple mare, "but Scar is much more worthy of the title, he killed the old king, my 'father'." She spat the last word with disgust.

        "Why are you glad he killed your father?" Twilight and her friends seemed terrified of that thought.

        "My father was a tyrant, he tore our family apart over a prophecy he barely understood. After I came back after a thousand years, the first thing he asked was if I still had the scroll, not if I was okay. In order to complete the prophecy, he would have gladly killed me in order to block out he sun." Twilight and her friends were absolutely horrified, they couldn't imagine anyone evil enough to do any of that, let alone to family.

"Why couldn't you two ever get married?" Rarity asked them questioningly.

"The only way to get married in Skyrim is to go to the temple of Mara, they don't like vampires." Scar explained.

"Can all vampires turn into that thing?" Dash questioned while staring at her friend.

"Only those turned by royalty, or royalty themself."

"If we asked, would you turn us into vampires?" Everyone turned to stare at Twilight. "What it's just a question." she said sheepishly

"Only if it really meant that much to you, or we had no other choice. It's not just a bite to us, we can bite without turning. Turning someone is very........ Intimate." He said while looking at Serana, causing them all to blush lightly. "Now I have a question for all of you." They nodded, "Can you keep what we are a secret from everypony?" They nodded. "Twilight, that includes the Princesses." She hesitated, but nodded again. "Good, now get some rest, I'd like to show Serana around." He said before reaching hooking arms with her, and they both dissipated into a larger swarm of bats.

"Wow, kinky." Everyone stared at Dash. "Whaaaat."

Serana and Scar now stood at the top of the highest building in Ponyville. "Hey Serana."

"Yes."

"Two things, first of all, could you shapeshift into a pony? That way no one would be suspicious."

"Wouldn't be the weirdest thing I've turned into." They shared a laugh for a few seconds, before Scar took on a serious, yet affectionate demeanor.

"Also, I need you to bite me again, I still have my powers for now but they are wading rapidly." She looked at him nervously before morphing into a scarlet pony with a black mane and complying with his requests. The bite lasted for a couple seconds. Once she pulled back, he pushed forward, their lips meeting for a few seconds, Her eyes going incredibly wide, with shock like his had earlier. "Eh'm sorry." They both blushed before she spoke.

"Don't be, however this will be funny to show to your friends. It's kinda obvious the purple one and the blue one like you a little." They both chuckled at that before kissing again and vanishing in a cloud of winged fiends. They reappeared a few feet from the door to their beloved castle. "I bet you they've been doing nothing but gossip and talk about how they still doubt us."

They both entered the door and saw a sight that Scar knew they would see, BUT REALLY THIS SOON. Scar saw just inside the room staring straight at them, was the princess of the night. "Are you fucking kidding me Twilight?" He said staring at the purple mare. "Well Luna I hope you don't mind, but I'd like to not get too formal. Your sister attempted that and in all seriousness I still hate her." He continued as he and Serana bat swarmed to their places at the table. "I will assume you know what we are, since you were waiting for us."

"Y-yes, thou art correct." She said, astounded at the creatures she was seeing talk to her like this. "We hath not told our sister yet. She can be quite irrational sometimes." She said before taking a seat across from them.

"You know I'm already getting to like you." He said as he back at the princess again. "But I am going to say this now, if Celestia does find out, and ANY of the guards try to harm Serana, I will block out the sun."

They were all taken back by this.'Does he really have that kind of power, what am I thinking we heard two of his earth shattering stories. This isn't too far fetched.' Twilight thought, slightly frightened by his sudden change in attitude. She noticed however, that Serana was impressed with the lengths he would go to.

'Unless he's just trying to scare them. She laughed to herself quietly.

"Now I can tell that since you haven't told Celestia yet, that you are just checking on us. If you want to know more about us and why we would not use our powers against the innocent. I guess we can go to that story tonight." Luna was slightly confused while all of the girls' eyes lit up like fireworks. "So it was basically a normal day, I was walking around Whiterun to get some of my gear for a new adventure, which had to be happening soon, because I can never have an actually normal day.EVER. Then this oddly armored orc appeared, he asked me if I wanted to combat the vampire menace in Skyrim. I hadn't exactly noticed any menace of that sort, but I thought this would be a good way to kill some time. I was right. I find my way to an enormous fort behind Riften, Fort Dawnguard. I was soon allowed in given my title and powers, and I was assigned to go to a cave and stop these vampires from finding whatever it was they were looking for. It took me about twenty minutes to clear out the vamps and come across some sort of ceremonial room. I put my hand on a button and a spike came out impaling my hand." They cringed at that, "my blood worked wonders though, I quickly lifted the lock on whatever the obelisk in the center was for, I open it and the tile slides down. Revealing the most beautiful girl I had ever seen in all my years in Skyrim." He looked to Serana, "She was locked away for at least a thousand years, but I got her out and we soon escaped the dark cave. She had no idea where she was going, and because of her eyes I knew no one else would help her. So I escorted her back to her castle on the northeast coast of Skyrim, castle Volkihar." He gestured to the building they were in. He then proceeded to tell them about the rest of the adventure including him taking the offering Seranas' father gave him, all the way to the moth priest, the prophecy, and finally Auri-els' bow. Then the confrontation with Seranas' father. "He then suspended himself in his shield above the fountain AGAIN, so I used the bow along with the sunhallowed arrows and finished him. His last words were ones trying to get Serana to feel guilty. Didn't work for more than a second. SO, any questions that I haven't already been asked?"

"Do vampires have any other abilities?" Twilight asked while looking straight at him nervously.

"We can raise the dead to fight for us, we can drain health using magic instead of biting, we can turn completely invisible for a short time, and the only one I haven't actually tried fully yet, once a day we can seduce any mortal we wish." He chuckled at the embarassed and nervous looks he was getting from the group, especially Luna. "But don't worry, if I ever did that, Serana would kill me, bring me back to life, and kill me again. Literally." She giggled lightly at this. "Anyway, Twi I know you're going to ask this. The reason I thought Serana was dead, and she was, was because after a fight with two dragons, three giants, a mammoth, and some seriously pissed of Gray-Beards, don't ask, I couldn't find her. I searched for a month, I got so attached because with my life style, I rarely make friends, let alone relationships. Now it has been a REALLY long day, so I would like to get to bed." They all nodded before they took on the bat swarm again, and went towards Scar's room.

"Seriously, after that last power he told us about, you still don't think the vampire thing is pretty kinky." They all stared at Dash again, except for Luna who had heard and thought about more lewd things in this one night than she had in the past thousand years, was blushing furiously. Dash started laughing, "Well this has escalated very quickly now I'm gonna go sleep too."
