Peace and Death
Not as planned
Previous ChapterNext ChapterOkay, maybe rocketing towards the forest with my coffin closed wasn't such a good idea after all I internally groaned.I had failed to take in account the short distance which caused me to crash to the ground at full force.
"Those fillies will pay.." I muttered as i lifted myself up from the ground and scanned my surroundings . "This forest is pitch black! I can barely see were I am" I growled in frustration " But they shall not escape! No one mocks me and gets away with it, just wait you insolent fillies!" I shouted in rage as I started to make my way deeper into the forest.
The fillies have been awfully quiet ever since I entered this forest I thought as I made my way thorough the dense fauna of the forest. I could hear the cries of various animals and critters around me, but I just ignored them and kept going, after all who would try to confront a God? Even so I couldn't shake the feeling that I was being watched.
I turned around to make sure that no-one was following me. "Hmm?" I tilted my head as I found something standing still in the blackness of the forest " Is that a cottage?" I wondered aloud as I took the sight in front of me. A small lonely cottage just stood there. Now who would live in a dangerous forest like this? I moved closer to get a better look of the dark cottage.
It seems that the inhabitant is away at the moment, wait what are those letters on the door? I squint my eyes to read the letters on the door " Callum....Fortwood?" I said aloud" Thats a human name....strange" I moved away from the door and peeked inside the house from the small window.I could only grimace at the sight.
The room was full of hanging nooses which were covered in blood.
Its seem that even this world has its dark sides I scanned the room and saw that the floor was littered with paper sheets This "Callum" person seems to have some mental problems I thought as I found out that all the sheets had the same text written on them .
"Its all that a psycho needs" I read aloud and turned away from the window, having seen enough.
I hope that this person has not found those fillies. They are mine and mine only With a last glance towards the cottage, I resumed my search.
1 hour later........
I cannot stand this! Were are they!? I fumed in rage as the forest seemed to be mocking me." It would be easier to just burn this place to the ground an-" Then it hit me. Mot you are a genius! I chuckled in glee A small fire will lure the fillies away and thats when I will victorious I triumphantly started charging a basic fire bolt attack.
"Come to Mot little ones!"I yelled with malice as I threw the bolt at the forest which resulted in a massive explosion. I could feel my eyes stretch from their sockets in surprise as the forest was soon engulfed in a sea of fire. It seems that I used a *little** bit too much of my power...* I awkwardly thought as the fires swept across the forest. But my thinking was cut short when I heard footsteps coming from the fire.
A bipedal creature emerged from the flames and made its way towards me. Is that..a human? I thought, surprised that a human lived in this world. The creature stopped a few feet away from me revealing its entire appearance.A male, looks fairly young, wears some kind of weird clothes. Definitely a human I thought as I stared at the still bipedal, but something else suddenly caught my eye as I directed my gaze at its arms.
It was carrying the three fillies. I glared at the human who in return just tilted its head and grinned, causing something to fall from its pocket. A hanging noose..
"Callum Fortwood I presume?" I questioned after a long staring competition.
The humans grin grew wider. " You presume correctly" The human replied with a very thick British accent."It seems that you have visited my humble home already" he tilted his head again.
"It would be impossible for a human to live in a world that is so far away in the dimensional current. Who are you?" I demanded.
"Callum" just stared at me with his green eyes. " I am many things. A ghost? A corrupted spirit? Or perhaps a wraith? In the end It makes no difference " He chuckled . "What really matters is that I have something that you wish to have as your own" He pointed at the unconscious fillies. " They happened to stumble across me. Poor things screamed in terror and fainted from the sight of me " He said as he caressed their manes." And since I found you looking for these fillies I believe its best if I gave them to you. I do prefer grown up mares much more" He licked his lips and lowered the fillies to the ground.
"Finally this wild goose chase is over.." I muttered as I picked up my prize. I glanced at the fire and with a snap of my fingers summoned a powerful gust of wind which caused the fires to fade away. Now to get out of this forest so I can harvest their souls
"Now then I believe its time for me to leave" Callum said as he started walking towards the darkness of the forest " Do visit me sometimes. You are the only one who knows that I even exist here" He laughed wickedly as he disappeared in the darkness.
I stared for a moment in deep thought Its best to not question his intentions I turned away and stared at the fillies Its time to harvest I grinned and made my way towards the entrance of the forest with the fillies fast asleep in my arms.
???
Callum stared at the retreating from of the God of death and grinned. " A God of death and ponies? Such a strange combination" He tilted his head " Things are about to get interesting, but whatever the case..." He glanced at a roped unconscious unicorn mare with a lyre mark and grinned even more. "I will be looking forward to my next visitor" He flung the unicorn over his shoulder.
"Its all that a psycho needs..." He sang as he walked towards his cottage.
