*The last sonic Rainboom chapter 2*

Behind them stood a fearsome dragon it was huge the size of all of PonyVille, the scales were red, red as blood with each move of his wings made gusts of wind blow toward Twilight, Spike and Rainbow Dash moving smaller rocks are the boulder holding Rainbow down his claws looked sharp ao sharp that they would be able to cut though a fully grown apple tree in one swing, his eye's were black and glowing red, smoke was coming out of his nose whenever he breathed out he did not look pleased to see the ponies and Spike stood infront of him,

It was silent after the 'roar' that the dragon had caused all three were frozen in fear not one of them wanted to make a noise until Rainbow decided to say

"guy's you need to get this boulder of me before he starts to attack us"

"I agree, but how can we get the boulder of Rainbow's wing it's to heavy to move"

Twilight had not taken her eye's of the dragon not even for a second, then all of a sudden she said

"if we can get the dragon to fly close enough to the boulder it might just move"

"how do you suppose we do that?" replied Spike

"if you run past him and back around and make him chase you and then jump behind the boulder he should get close enough to move it" said Twilight with the sound of urgency on her voice

"why me?" said Spike

"im not fire proof am I Spike?" replied Twilight

"okay fine" after saying this Spike began to run toward the dragon, the dragon let out a thunderous 'roar' and flew up into the sky Spike turned around to run back to the boulder while Twilight trotted behind a wall the dragon begun to descend upon Spike and shot a fire ball directly at him

"Spike, run!" Screamed Twilight

noticing the dragon was getting closer and closer and getting his claws ready for an onslaught Spike realised this to and jumped behind the boulder just as the dragon's jaw snapped shut behind him, Spike felt a tremendous amount of force that had been created due to the dragon's shear size, mass and wing power, Spike rolled forwards realising the boulder was beginning to move and Rainbow Dash sprung free.

Rainbow started to fly in a circular motion going faster and faster creating a small tornado, Rainbow then flung the tornado directly at the dragon, Rainbow then flew directly down to Twilight and Spike

"guy's we need to go now, that tornado won't stop him for long" said Rainbow Dash

All three of them started to move as fast as they could though the Everfree forest, after a couple of minutes Twilight said

"I think we lost him guy's"

Just as Twilight said that a huge fireball landed right next to them burning down a few tree's that surrounded them they all screamed in fear

"really Twilight, you just had to say somthing didn't you" Said Rainbow Dash

They could see PonyVille they were in the home stretch, the dragon was just about to fire one last shot at the trio that would have annihilated all three of them but then 'Boom' the dragon was stuck in mid air like he had flown into somthing, the three of them stopped and turned to look at the dragon who gave out one last 'roar' in frustration and started to fly back to Everfree forest,

"what was that, that stopped the dragon from going any further? Because I definitely didn't see anything" said Rainbow Dash relieved that the chase was over

"I don't know, but im thankful to whatever it was" replied Twilight

The trio began to walk into PonyVille they were nearly at the center of town their was not a pony insight

"Twilight, Spike and Rainbow Dash are you okay?" said Princess Celestia

"Princess, we are okay but I have a bit of news for you, I think a dragon came out of the portal" replied Twilight

"Twilight I think you may be right, the dragon that was chasing you"

Twilight Interupted "how do you know about the dragon?"

"haha, I thought you may need a bit of help so I came here as fast as I could, and I could see from here that Dylektro was chasing you so I put up a magical force field to stop him from hurting you" said Celestia with a smile upon her face

"okay who is Dylektro?" replied Twilight

"well he is an ancient dragon that I defeated and destroyed a few hundred years ago that's why I think you may be right about him coming though the portal" replied Celestia

"well how did you defeat him" said Twilight

"how I defeated him doesn't matter you and your friend's need to go to Canterlot and get the Element's of harmony that is the only way that your powers will be strong enough to defeat him without getting hurt" said Celestia

"are you sure that, that will work" replied Twilight

"im pretty sure that his power shouldn't be enough to take on the Element's of harmony" said Celestia

"okay, im going to go and get all my friends and start this quest" replied Twilight

"that will not be necessary Twilight, I have already told soldiers of the royal guard to go to the apple farm to get your friend's they will be here very soon" said Celestia

"wait why are they at the apple farm?" replied Twilight

"I saw Dylektro coming towards PonyVille and I didn't know if my magic would be enough to stop him so I got everyone to gather at the apple farm so they would be safe"

"Twilight!" shouted FlutterShy, Rarity, Apple Jack and Pinkie Pie

"hey guy's" screamed Rainbow Dash

"guy's we can talk later, right now we have a mission to complete let's get to Canterlot and get the Element's of harmony" said Twilight

"yeah" shouted Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Apple Jack, Pinkie Pie, FlutterShy

They all started to run in the direction of Canterlot.
