The day was beautiful. The wind blew gently on the flowers. The clouds were soft and white and changed form as they moved slowly in the sky. The little critters ran cheerfully, for it was playtime. Fluttershy sat on the humid grass to enjoy the peace and quiet. She picked up a white, tiny flower and smelled it. As she inhaled, she could smell the lovley fragrance. She looked up at the sky and smiled. The beauty was amazing. She looked down at the tiny flower she picked and stared at it for a long time. Angel Bunny tugged on her tail. She gasped and looked back.

"What is it?" she asked softly. He kept tuging her tail then pointed at the dark forest. Fluttershy looked towards where he pointed. Her eyes widened as she saw the Everfree Forest. The forest was dark and calm. No noise came out of it. This wasn't unusual but something made her worry.

" You want me to go in there?" She worried. Angel noddod rapidly. Fluttershy bit her lip. Something was in there, she could feel it. She got up slowly and stood there staring at the forest. Angel pushed her so she could start walking. She gulped. She walked slowly, then she started walking normaly, and then she broke into a trot. Why was she doing this? Wasn't she scared?

Inside the forest was cold and damp. Fluttershy looked around her. She saw oddly shaped trees. She heard the wind whistling behind her ears. Angel sat on her back twitching his nose. Everything was calm and silent. Suddenly a twig snapped. Fluttershy jumped almost knocking Angel off her back. She looked around. Her wings were folded tightly and her forhead was sweating. Another twig snapped behind her. She turned rapidly. She wasn't alone.

"He-hello?" her voice shook. she saw a silhouette moving fast behind a tree. Fluttershy gasped. She herd hoofsteps. Angel held on to her tightly. Fluttershy closed her eyes shut and whimpered like a new born puppy. She heard something groan.No, not something; somepony. She looked up and as her eyes fixed on the darkness. The pony groaned again but much louder. It sounded like it was in pain. Fluttershy looked harder and slowly walked towards the tree the pony was leaning on. As she walked closer she could see the shape of wings. Then she saw a ragged ,light yellow mane. The pony breathed loudly and moaned. Fluttershy saw a complete image of a light pink pony with a hurt wing covered with blood.

"Excuse me?" Fluttershy startled the pony.

"Who are you?" the stranger asked.

Fluttershy looked in her Emerald, green eyes.

"A friend," Fluttershy replied.

"please help me," she said hoarsley. Fluttershy grabbed Angel and placed him on her pink mane. She put the hurt pony on her back.

Fluttershy took the pony's temperature. The pony was laying on the couch. Fluttershy looked at her. She looked back. Fluttershy took the thermometer from her mouth and looked at it. She didn't have a fever. Fluttershy sighed.

"You were lucky I found you," She put the thermometer on the table infront of the couch,"I'm Fluttershy. What's you name?"

"I'm Radiant. Thank you for helping me," She smiled at her. Fluttershy smiled back. Radiant slowly sat up.

"What were you doing in the Everfree Forest?" Fluttershy asked. Radiant looked down at her hooves. then looked at Fluttershy.

"I was sent here on a mission to find friendship," Fluttershy's eyes widened. Isn't that why Twilight was sent to ponyville?

"Were you sent by the princess?" Radiant looked confused as Fluttershy asked the question.Fluttershy shook her head and told her to continue.

"Well I walked into the forest and i heard some growling and snarling." Fluttershy put her hooves to her mouth.

"then what happened?"

"There were big Timberwolves. I started to run but they caught up. One of them bit my wing," She looked at her bandaged wing then continued,"and i screamed. Then more of them came. I ran but I tripped and fell into a puddle of mud. They couldn't smell me because of the mud.When they went away I shook the mud off me and ran to another part of the forest." Rdiant continued to tell her her story. After that Fluttershy saw her cutiemark. It looked like a sunflower. She wondered what her special talent was. She didn't bother asking ,though. It was getting dark anyway and Radiant needed some rest.

It was morning when Radiant woke up. She blinked in the sunlight. She looked around and saw little critters running around. One of the critters looked up at her. It was a ferret. It climbed the couch and stared at Radiant. Radiant looked back. His eyes were sparkly like a million diamonds. And he had a cute little pink nose. The ferret licked her hoof. She sat up and petted him. She giggled as the ferret licked her face. His whiskers tickeld her.

"Oh, good you're up," Fluttershy entered the room full of animals. She was holding a bowl with soup.

"You take care of animals?" Radiant asked.

"Yes. I hope they aren't a bother to you," Fluttershy handed her the bowl.

"not at all! I think they are adorable," She grabbed the bowl and devoured the soup.

"Wow you are very hungry! How many days has it been since you last ate?" She asked looking at her thin friend. Radiant tried to remember. Then she just shrugged.

"I don't know, about a week," She guessed. Fluttershy hung her mouth open with wide eyes. How could have she survived without food or water? Does she have some kind of special ability that made her go without food or water? Radiant gave her the bowl and asked for more. Fluttershy nodded. She grabbed the empty bowl and glided over to the kitchen. She filled the bowl with soup. She looked at a picture with her best friends. Should I intoduce her to my friends? She thought.
