Chapter 2

Rainbow Dash

Rainbow Dash awoke from her terrifying nightmare. She stared down at the stream below her. When had her sleeping cloud floated over this?

`Rainbow hung her head over the edge and sighed. Where was she going with her life. There was nothing left when rehabilitation deemed her fit to be around other ponies.

I could always go back to CloudsDale she thought. Rainbow shook her head and scorned herself for even thinking about that wretched place. Why in gods name would she ever go back there?

The things that wretched place does to keep it's reputation cleaned. The screams still haunt her, day and night. That is when Rainbow spotted a figure dashing across the empty plains.

Her gray mane fluttered in the wind. Rainbow could tell she was a pegasi, but was confused as to why she wasn’t flying. Then she spotted the bandaged wing. Her other wing was open and flapping uselessly.

How pitiful  Rainbow thought. The figure darted under Rainbows cloud, the looked up. Her face was ridden with scars and her Rose colored eyes peered up at Rainbow. “ Hey! Hey You!” Rainbow called out. The mare was obviously confused. She pointed a hoof at herself. “Yes you! Whats wrong with you, why not fly?” The mare shook her head and turned in he direction she had previously been heading in. Rainbow called out again “ If you’re looking for Equestria, Its that way.” She pointed a hoof North. The mare nodded and turned to that direction, then slowly and surely darted towards Equestria.  What the hell?  Rainbow thought

Cloud was beginning to tire, and she skidded to a halt. She panted, taking slow deep breaths. She walked North, in the direction the mysterious pony had pointed her too. She walked till dawn, and she was now on the outskirts of Equestria.
