The Mystery Within.

The mist was gathering around the 2 explorers as they started the ascension up the mountain, snow started to blanket the jagged edges. The pony's looked worried as they climbed the face of the mountain with great caution.

"Is this safe?" said the younger one.

"I don't know, we are the only pony's to try who is alive at this part" said the elder as he grabbed hold of a stone, which crumbled as he placed his hoof on it.

"Ugh, this is to dangerous for anypony to climb, what if this is for nothing?" Said the younger climber.

"It would make a good souvenir photo" chuckled the elder.

"Ha ha, we are hanging in the very brink of death and you make jokes" said the younger one.

"Wait, what is that cave over in the distance" said the younger one with no hiding of the happiness on his frost covered face.

"This is it, finally.. I'm coming hysteria"

"What did you say master?" said the youngling with great confusion in his eyes

"Nothing, lets just move on" he said

When then entered the cave they were introduced to a smell of blood and mist as they trotted into the decrypted room, there was strange symbols carved on the mossy walls and totems of a mythical creature. In front of their eyes was a massive idol holding a glowing purple orb with mist engulfing a figure inside.

"This is it, the crystal that I have been looking for, the crystal that will make me rich" said the elder with a evil tone in his voice.

"Yes it wi... Rich??? You said this stone would help our families have a better life" said the younger one with sadness filling in his eyes

Without hesitation, the elder smashed the orb and the mist erupted out with a rumbling sound, and out came a beast  wearing a harlequin with a split of blue an yellow colours and a white mask covering here face.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOIN..." said the younger just before the elder trusted a dagger though his chest causing him to stumble and fall dead.

"You never shut up do you, anyway rise hysteria, be my.."

Hysteria screamed and punched the elder in the chest and set him into a marble pillar

NO, YOU WILL NOT CONTROL ME, FOR I AM PURE INSANITY

The elder look at the monster he created, wincing in pain from his bruise from his chest that had just been inflicted.

"What have i done...." Screamed the elder as he is flung out the cave and hurtles to the ground when

SWOOSH

He is grabbed by a canterlot guard, who calmly replys "Are you ok, even so, you're coming with me".

Back at the courtroom, the elder is charged for high treason and sentenced to the moon for 20 years, but worry is painted across the face of Celestia as she stares blankly into the emptiness of the night

"Hysteria, why do you return" she sighs

Suddenly she springs with a idea and calls a guard

"Yes milady?" Said the Guard

"Fetch me Shining Armour" Demanded the Princess.

"On it" Replied the Guard and ran for the doorway

After ideas and planning and a lot of grass sandwiches, Shining comes with a interesting idea

"Well i do know of a old Guard who i caught studying about these creatures, maybe he will help us, but he left ages ago and heaven knows where he could be."

Celestia says in a calm but suttle voice "Who is he?"

Shining slides a Guard File showing a pony with a red mane with a blue coat, his cutie mark was a Blue Atom with 2 swords circling it.
