The Mystery Within.

Samlight entered the room, the interior had not changed much since is first arrival, the same painting, the marble pillars and floor, the luxurious seats and rugs, and the throne, made from gold and a expensive red velvet cloth, Sam remembered it all to well.

Shining Armour was already at the table, skimming though Sam's file, before putting the book down and shaking Sams hoof, before saying "Welcome back Sam, we missed you, but first, tell me, why did you leave?" asked Shining.

Sam replied "Well, your suspicions were putting me off, If I have to read about the Dark Arts as my job, why the fuck do you stop me?

Shining sighed and replied "That monster was a test, you beat it easily, showing you can learn quickly, but when you continued reading, I got worried that you would turn, so I had someone monitor you.

Sam looked puzzled but suddenly realised what he meant

23 June, 2011...

Samlight was reading his book, when his friend Estel, and Twilight strolled in and picked up books of the same genre, they started talking about the books until Sam spotted Shining and ran off, worried.

Twilight came to comfort him, and then they spoke about the magic, and what it could do...

Samlight was flushed with anger, and started to storm out the room, when suddenly

THUMP

Samlight landed right into someone, he cursed and looked up and saw...

Estel, Nightwing and Lightrift We're standing in front of him

Nightwing shouted "If Sam is returning, we want to... oh, hey Sam"

"Wh.. what the heck are you guys doing here" Asked Samlight

"We thought you were rejoining, so we wanted to help" Giggled Estel.

After a long conversation, Samlight came up with his decision.

"I did read about Hysteria, Element of Insanity, but not much, I'll read some more, but *sigh* I guess I will help you" Said Samlight

Cheers emitted though the room as Sam strolled to his dormitory to catch some rest he so dearly needed.

Sam was about to drift to sleep when the door opened, revealing a shadowy figure, walking over to Twilights Dorm, Sam was at a awkward position, but he saw the pony brandish a steak knife, and shove a rag ball full of knockout gas into Twilights mouth and drag her outside

5 Minutes Later, another Pony walks in and tries to shove one into Samlight's mouth, but Sam does a twirl and bucks the Pony in the abdomen, knocking him out.

Sam stumbles outside where he sees the same shadowy pony holding Twilight hostage with Shining and the Guards on the other side

Sam had one shot to stop him, he has the advantage of surprise, Sam thought to himself *Where's a Frying Pan when you need one* but Sam noticed his weapon on the floor

A stick from a Birch tree in the Gardens...

One shot...

One Chance...

Sam Lunges and swipes the stick across the figures neck, blood gushes from a cut near his forhead, the shock allowed Twilight to escape and push him knocking him back while Sam launches a back kick into the assailant. Sam then pulls the figure and removes his cape to see... A man, with a Mask on, screaming "She is coming... She is coming..." As he evaporates. Sam tells everyone that the assailant was a pony infused with insanity, oh, and that one was knocked out in his room.

Stumbling back to bed, he notices 2 guards taking position near the dormitory, knowing he is safe. He crashed onto his pillow and falls asleep.
