Something Tugging At Your Heartstrings...

You walk down one day to see Lyra talking with someone(pony?), a cream-colored mare with a blue and pink mane "Bon-Bon, right?" You try to keep out of sight, you do not know how others would react...

"Hey, come on down" Lyra came up and bit the bottom of your shirt "come on, come on" You try to form a rebuttle to no avail as you are dragged by your new friend, "wow...you weren't just going crazy" you saw a hint of sadness in Lyra's eyes..."no she is not crazy...sorry..." you don't know what it was that made you stand for her honor like that...? Bob-Bon smiled "no need to get defensive, I was only joking" you avert your eyes, wanting to kick yourself, "smooth introduction..."

An hour later, you are talking with Bon-Bon and Lyra like they were already your closest friend in the world...or any world for that matter...

"Hmm..." Bon-Bon stares at you "what, something wrong?" she shakes her head "no...I just wonder what Lyra would see in humans, not much to go on..." you don't know how to take that, you don't know whether to be hurt or defensive, but Lyra jumps right in "well, so what if he has thumbs, if he has hair, not just a coat..." Bob-Bon smirked and giggled mockingly "everyone has their fetish..." you both blush at that and you silently make you way into the kitchen "why would THAT come up..." you think about Lyra, she is a pony...nothing like that would ever work...right? You shake the thought out of your head and walk back...

"s-sorry about that.." Bon-Bon was laughing on the floor "I just had to see the look of your faces!" You and Lyra stare at each other and began to join in on the laughter "of course nothing like that could happen..." as you and Lyra turn, you end up staring into her big gold eyes...blushing slightly, "right?"

Bon-Bon stands up and brushes herself off, "well, I got to get back to the candy store, come by sometime, you two" she winked as she made her way out "what was that about?" you ask Lyra "I don't know..." she smiles as she meets your eyes..."awkward..."
