What Am I Doing Here?

Me and the CMC were walking down the streets of Ponyville going door to door collecting bagfuls of lollies and candy. Although it was rare, if I ever got any candy I'd share it amongst the fillies. I was never one for candy or chocolate, both of which made me sick to the bone. Everypony we visited loved the fillies costumes, but they didn't really notice I was wearing a costume. They kinda acknowledged it more as a suit instead of a costume. I didn't mind though. I still think I looked awesome. All I needed now was a piece of psychic paper and a sonic screwdriver.

As we finished a round of lolly baggin', I noticed that a stage was being set up for some kind of performance. I leaned down and pointed to it.

"You three go over there. I'll be there soon."

They all nod and rush over to the stage. I stand up and look over my shoulder.

"Alright, I know you're there."

A stallion with a brown coat walks out from his hiding spot in the bushes. I turn and fold my arms.

"So, are you who I think you are?"

The stallion nods and sighs.

"Yes. I am the Doctor."

I smile and look back over to the fillies. They were watching the band perform something similar to "This Is Halloween".

I look back at the Doctor and laugh.

"So, you here to take me away and bring me back to Earth?"

To my surprise, he shook his head and pulled out a thin metallic object.

"This is my sonic screwdriver, as you would know."

He walks up to me and grabs my hand, placing the device in my hands. I hold it up to my face and click the button to make sure it was the actual thing. It lit up the same blue colour of David's sonic screwdriver. I look to the Doctor and sigh.

"You're gunna regenerate soon, aren't you?"

He nods and backs away from me.

"Yes, but I'm not here to discuss that with you. Come with me."

He turns around and walks up to a small house with me behind him. He knocks on the door and a blonde pegasus opens the door.

"Ah, Derpy. Mind if I bring along a stray?"

I roll my eyes and follow him inside past the pegasus. He sat in the kitchen and looked around.

"You may have to sit on the floor."

I shrug and slam my arse on the floor. The Doctor turns to Derpy and motions her to leave. She nods and goes upstairs. He stretches and suddenly, his human form appears where he was once a stallion. He looks at me with confusion, a rare look to get from the man who saved the universe countless times.

"Why aren't you surprised to see me like this?"

I lean back and groan.

"Well, it's not everyday you see a brown stallion walk into a blue police box in a land where police call boxes don't exist."

He makes the "Oh right" face and leans back himself.

"I'm here to tell you how our tri-dimension works."

I nod slowly. "I have no idea what that is."

He points a finger at me and folds his arms.

"Which is why I'm here to tell you about them!"

I point a finger at my chest.

"Why me? I'm not special?"

He laughs and leans forward to slap my knee.

"You're older then I am! You aged within a time flux, which by the way no one has ever done! Of course you're special!"

I nod slowly and sit up straight.

"So, tell me about the tri-dimension."

He nods and places his hands in a clasp.

"Right. There are three versions of reality. You live in the one where I'm fictional and most other things are to. The one I live in see's this world as fictional, and the other one see's both mine and this world as fictional."

I nod slowly and look around.

"So, right now I'm in either a TV show, a book or a fairytale?"

He nods and reaches into his pocket, pulling out a DVD case and chucking it to me. The title read "My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic Royal Pony Wedding.

Well I'll be damned. Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, AJ, Rarity and Twilight were on a cover with three others I haven't met yet. He leans in and points to the yellow pegasus.

"That's Fluttershy. You haven't seen her yet because she's been avoiding you. Don't take it personally, she's very shy."

His hand waves over the other two.

"You won't be seeing either of these two for a while. So I won't bother telling you about them."

I nod and pass the DVD back to him.

"Am I in the show?"

He laughs and waves a hand.

"No, you're not. Don't worry. Only the adventures of those six are shown most of the time."

I wipe my forehead and lean back.

"Anything else you wanna tell me?"

He smiles and nods.

"Yeah. Applebloom's birthday is coming up. I think she might like this."

He chucks me another screwdriver, but it was slightly thinner and the light shone pink. I shake my head.

"Where do you get these from?"

He taps his nose and winks.

"My secret."

Within my vision, I had a slight flash of Chrissy winking at me.

Secrets. Everyone has them. And this man had the biggest one. He stands up and nods to me.

"Right I best be off."

I stand up and hold out my hand.

"See ya, mate."

He smiles and shakes my hand.

"You'll see me as a different man, next time."

I laugh and pat his back.

"Aw, c'mon. You'll always be my favourite Doctor."

He chuckles and pats my back.

"Thanks, mate."

I nod and head for the door. I turn around and just see him stagger out into the back alley through Derpy's back door. Me and Derpy have had chats occasionally, so she didn't mind the Doctor bringing me in. As I left, I smile and look up at the sky.

"See ya soon, ya lunatic."

I pull my new screwdriver out from my pocket and grin.

"The crazy shit I can do with this thing."

I place it back in my pocket and walked over to where Applebloom, Sweetie Belle and Scoots were. I decided to give Applebloom her present early. What kid hasn't dreamt of the day they got early presents? I tap Applebloom's shoulder, making her turn around. The other two don't notice me yet. I kneel down and hold her shoulder.

"Applebloom, how would you like an early birthday present?"

Her eyes grew wide and she violently nodded her head.

"Yes yes yes!"

I laugh and pull her screwdriver out from my pocket. She eyed it in my hand before reaching out and grabbing it.

"Is it real?"

I nod and pull my one out.

"Yep. And so is mine."

She grappled me in a tight hug-o-death.

"Thank ya thank ya thank ya!"

She released me as the other two fillies turn around and notice her. She holds it in her hooves and gives me a suspicious look.

"Where did ya get it?"

I smile and point behind me. The fillies followed my gaze and saw the Doctor standing next to his TARDIS. They all smile and went running for him, but I grabbed them and gave them a sad look.

"He just saved Donna's dad after stopping the Master. You know what happens now."

Their faces shrunk from excitement to sadness. The Doctor will regenerate into Matt Smith in his TARDIS. Let me explain something about Regeneration. When you regenerate you keep all your memories, but lose everything else. Your personality and thoughts are completely re-written. Before David Tennant regenerated into Matt Smith, he didn't seemed too overjoyed about it.

We all waved at him and he waved back. He turned and entered his TARDIS. We all saw it slowly disappear as it would take off to another time. We all just stared at the spot where the most amazing man in history just stood. I jumped up and clapped my hands together.

"Right. Me and Twilight decided to put together a sort of play. It'll be our time in a bit. Cheer me on!"

I began running around the crowd and towards the set of stairs that lead to the back stage. I saw Twilight and walked up to her. She gave me a happy smile.

"Ready?"

I laughed and strolled by her.

"I'm so ready."

-----Sometime Later-----

The crowd cheered on as I walked up to the stage wearing my normal clothing. I saw the fillies eye me weirdly, but they would love this. I had taken off my Matt Smith clothing so all I was wearing was my hoodie and pants. I clap my hands together.

"Right, so I hope you enjoyed the latest performances by many talented ponies! For those of you who didn't know, my name is Crystal. Now, me and Twilight have-"

Without warning, a sharp object had penetrated my chest. I looked down as everyone gasped. A long pointed shape escaped my chest. When it was withdrawn, my hands and head began glowing a shade of yellow.

My hands and head erupted with great force of time energy. When it all cleared, I was wearing my Matt Smith costume with my hair styled the same way.

"Hello! I'm the Doctor!"

The crowd cheered for me as I bowed. See, the spear was Twilight's magic, but it didn't hurt me. The Regeneration energy? Twilight again. The mare bounded on stage and I picked her up in a hug. I let her down and motioned both my hands to her.

"I'd like to thank this mare for a lovely helping hoof!"

The crowd roars for the mare as she bows her head. I smile and make a bow myself.

"Thank you ladies and gentlemen you've been a lovely audience!"

I comically jump off the stage to the side and run around and meet up with the fillies.

"Tha' was amazing!"

"It was so cool!"

"I love your hair!"

I laugh and kneel down. I grab the three fillies in a massive hug.

"Thanks, girls."

I stand up and motion my head down the street.

"C'mon, girls. We gunna go eat the candy!"

The fillies smile and laugh as we walk down the street towards the tree we sat at to watch Doctor Who. Well, I sat down at the stump as they all sat around me. Applebloom was screwing around with her sonic screwdriver. I pulled out my DSi and my screwdriver and tapped her on the head.

"Like this, Applebloom."

I held the screwdriver to the DSi and sonicked it. The DSi lit up and was able to connect to the Internet from the other Earth the Doctor told me about.

"Sweet!"

I spin the screwdriver and kiss it.

"Oh the fun I'll have with you."

I stow it back in my pocket and saw Applebloom look down the screwdriver. I panicked and grabbed it from her.

"Sorry, Applebloom. I have no idea what that could do to you."

She nods sadly as I pass the screwdriver back to her.

"It works on a large variety of other things, though. It can unlock stuff, I know that."

She hums in thought before shrugging and putting it away. She turns to me and hugs me.

"Thanks Crystal."

Scoots and Sweetie Belle saw Applebloom hugging me. They joined in and started hugging me to. I smiled and hugged them all back.

"You're the best, Crystal."

I smiled and hugged them tighter.

"Nah. I'm just a broken soul who found angels."

Scootaloo looked up at me and held her hooves to her face. At first I thought she was crying, but then I realized she was impersonating a Weeping Angel. I laugh and grab her back in the hug.

"Not that kind of Angel!"

We all share a good laugh and lie as we were. After a while all the energy from the sugar had passed and they fell asleep on me. I grinned and closed my eyes. These girls were the best thing to have happened to me.

Was that creepy because I'm over 3,000 years old?
