“Good morning class.” Said a mature and caring voice to a room full of young ponies.

“Good morning Miss Cherilee.” The class said, half of the young ponies were bored and were saying it like a robot would, while the other half was happy and enthusiastic to start the day and were saying with all the energy they could muster.

“As you all know we have a new student in our class and it is my pleasure to introduce you to her, So let's give a warm welcome to our new student Soul Rune!”

As she said this a little filly entered the room, she was a earth pony and her fur was a bright blue and she had messy hair that spiked out in all directions, but the strangest thing was the colour of her hair and her eyes they were white as snow even though she was only a filly. She looked very shy when she entered the room, she was looking at the ground and was also covering her flank with her tail, making it impossible to see her cutie mark if she even had one. When she stood beside Miss Cheerilee she curled up slightly to try and avoid the gaze of the other school ponies in the room.

“You can take any seat you want so long as it's empty Soul Rune.” Said Miss Cheerilee. Soul Rune then looked for the first time at the desks set up in the class room, there were two empty desks one was beside a silver filly with glasses and a blue colt with yellow hair. The other seat was between a white unicorn filly and a pink filly with a small tiara.

She had no idea who these ponies were but she decided to go with the one that had a white unicorn beside it. She slowly walked over to her desk, once again very interested by the ground and sat down. When she sat down the teacher began to talk about the different types of ponies, she started with earth ponies but Soul Rune was one so she payed little attention to the lesson.

About a minute went by before Soul Rune heard someone whispering. “Psst, new pony, over here.” The pony that was whispering was obviously talking to her so she looked over to see the pink pony with the tiara looking at her. “My name is Diamond Tiara you should remember it beca-” “Ahem!” The sound of someone clearing their throat loudly ended their conversation as they both looked to the board where they saw the teacher glaring at them. Suffice to say this ended their conversation and kept Diamond Tiara from talking to Soul Rune for the rest of the class.

Soon the bell rang and the class hurried out of the class room for recess. Soul Rune was much slower than the other students but eventually reached the door and when she did there were 2 foals waiting for her.

“How old are you?” Said Diamond Tiara “Are a like creepy old mare in disguise” Diamond Tiara and her silver friend laughed mockingly.

The silver one said “And she like doesn't even have her cutie mark yet”

“So your like one hundred years old and you still don't have a cutie mark how sad is that” Said Diamond Tiara

“Now now Diamond Tiara be nice to your elders” said the silver pony. Then they both broke out in a mocking laugh.

“Why are you being so mean?” said Soul Rune

“Because you have white hair like an old mare and your a blank flank” Said the silver one

“But your hair is white too” said Soul Rune.

“No my hair is silver” Said the silver one

Then diamond tiara said “not to mention your...”

While the bullies were making fun of Soul Rune three other fillies were talking. “But did you see her white hair and eyes they're so weird.” said the orange one with purple hair

“So, Zecora looks weirder than her and we still trust her” said the yellow one with red hair and a hair bow.

“I think she's getting bullied by Diamond Tiara we should go help her” Said the white unicorn

“Alright let's go help her then I guess” said the orange one with purple hair.

“And what's with your eyes, are you like blind” Said Diamond Tiara unaware to the fact that 3 fillies were sneaking up behind her. “You're like so- AHH” The purple haired one pushed her and Diamond Tiara fell into a wet puddle of mud with a satisfying splash.

“I'm like so going to tell Miss Cheerilee” said Silver Spoon “And you'll get in trouble”

“You tell her and we'll tell her that you have been making fun of Soul Rune” said the orange one. With that Silver Spoon helped Diamond Tiara up and ran off to dry Diamond tiara off.

Soul Rune's cheeks were wet with tears when the three fillies walked up to her. “Are you alright” said the white one “my name's Sweetie Belle what's yours?”

“M-my name is S-Soul Rune and thanks for getting rid of them” Said Soul Rune.

The yellow one was next to speak “Hi there Soul Rune my name is Apple Bloom”

Then the orange one spoke “And my name is Scootaloo nice to meet you”

Then Apple Bloom spoke once again “Don't worry about those two they are the school bullies.”

Sweetie Belle spoke next “You don't have your cutie mark too! Why don't you join the cutie mark crusaders”

Suddenly Scootaloo pulled Sweetie Belle away “You can't be serious, we just met her”

Then Apple Bloom joined the huddle “I think we should give her a test to see if she is should join us”

Scootaloo nooded “I agree that seems like a good idea.”

Then Sweetie Belle nodded “So we all agree, but what should the test be?”

There was hushed whispering and then they all turned around and Apple Bloom spoke “How would you like to join us at the Cutie Mark Crusaders Clubhouse after school”
