It had been the week after Spike's Birthday in Ponyville. Cheerilee had crossed the park, as was going home after working at the school on a sunny autumn day. While Cheerilee had walked across that park had nshe heard screaming for help. Cheerilee got startled, as she thought she saw ghostly ponies running out of the forest by the park.

"Help, the murder is out in the forest, and I met him last night by this park." a ghosly pony shouted to the pony.

"Run away from him." another pony told Cheerilee.

That made Cheerilee run through the park. Cheerilee had not seen any hauntings before in that park. She had not heard about any murder loose in the forest either. Cheerilee could not sleep after what she had seen. That next morning had Cheerilee found some old newspaper in an archive in Ponyville from 50 years ago. Tourists came by, and crowded that park she had been to every Hearts and Hooves Day. Ponies from the cities moved to the cottages by the park. Fillies from the school went out in the forest. But then the ponies moved away, as the park got abandoned. A murder had been loose in the forest. Few years later had the murder still told to be loose. Ghosts of the murdered ponies came out every night in the dark of the forest. These entities still ran away, and shouted as they got chased by the murder. Ponies sold their cottages after these events, and none would be there after some home invasions. At last had the abandoned cottages been demolished.
