It was few days after Spike had his Birthday, as the ponies went to the Gala in Canterlot. The ponies and Spike they went to a hotel in Canterot. In the meanwhile had a letter arrived that they had been invited to take part of the yearly Hearth's Warming Eve's play in the Canterlot castle next month. After the train travel from Ponyville to Canterlot, was the ponies and the baby dragon getting the room where Twilight held her Birthday. The ponies and Spike got awoke the night before the Gala by hearing noises in their room. Invisible things was around. That invisble entity returned the next night after the Gala before they went home. The ponies and Spike got startled by the sight of a nearly invisble filly in a dirty and old nightgown.

"The bad pony will hurt me." the ghostly filly in the nightgown shouted to the ponies and Spike.

"Turn around, as the bad pony right behind you will come and do harm." the entity shouted to Spike and his friends.

The startled baby dragon and the ponies saw nothing. Even if the ghostly filly had went way, was the ponies and Spike staying up the remains of the night. Twilight asked the guards the next morning of what they had seen in the ballroom they slept in.

"For many years ago a mother and her filly once lived here, and she killed the filly." the guard told Twilight.

"Ponies had been awake here, as portraits felt down by themselves at night." another guard told the unicorn pony.

After the ponies and Spike had left Canterlot, was other guests seeing the same ghost at night. It also told the guests that her ghost mother would come to hurt her and the guests. Few days later had the haunted room been sealed of. These hauntings had not been around for decades, but now they had returned. A family of ghost hunters also gave up, as they been chased away by these two evil entities.
