This fanfic was inspired by “The Scarlet Harvest”, “Past Sins” and other horrible things that I have seen myself that I would not wish upon any one, having said so however this is a horrible work of fiction and none of it is canon to anything, characters from Past Sins may be used, yet not harmed in any ways or changed to match something evil, characters from The Scarlet Harvest will be used and some of them made an example of in horrid ways, this is a trial run of my skill in English and delivery of story, it is horrible, a little graphic, may change your view of some characters, not meant for children, strong language, sex scenes. Of things that I have seen don’t worry I am not some weird person it is just there in my country people die in violent crimes and a way to get the image out of my mind I share it with you all ^^… sorry.

Chap 1: the team.
In my dreams I am not so far away from home, but dreams are just that, every waking minute I spend teaching, researching and paying attention to the only one I think I care for enough to keep close, today we would take a walk around the park, see the stars and animals of the night, share conversations about our numerous travels that ended in this little town where now I teach the souls that can’t learn during the day due to work or some other types of royal duties. This town hosts one of five schools in all of Equestria that have a night shift for the ponies that just can’t get the education they want during the day.
Today I am off, don’t have to work, and I have a date with Dark Shine she has being with me since we arrive at this town for the same reason that she had, an invitation from Celestia herself to numerous ponies that worked over the nights instead of days, we all were given education related tasks and put to work in the same department at the bran new Ponyville branch of the Moon Light University.
All was well until my curiosity got me in trouble when I came across with the Spell Nexus “cook book” apparently a book written by Nexus himself to elaborate a ritual to bring back Nightmare Moon so that she would bring nighttime eternal, in my hands this book was decoded, and the ritual was changed, mangled I would say, given the fact that it was no longer useful to generate anything but to “inject” great amounts of magical energy in somepony who wasn’t an unicorn, my modifications of the ritual was meant to give the ability of magic to anypony regardless of the race.
Studies from the pasts few years gave birth to a book that described the short ruling of the queen of the night, Spell Nexus himself wrote part of it, the book is used in the history class that Star Dust a close friend of mine teaches. The book is known to all as “Past Sins” and it describes the happenings that toke place here in Ponyville about a year ago, Nyx the young alicorn that was born out of the ritual now lives under the care of Celestia and Luna back in Canterlot given the tragic events to took place no longer than a week or so ago.
Twilight Sparkle a good friend of mine is dead… so are the other that were known as the elements of harmony. But it was the death of Twilight that stroke me, even when I was there and saw what happened with my own eyes I still don’t understand the event.
One night about a week and two days ago Twilight chased Cheerilee the middle school teacher to the ally where my apartment is at and in a horrific display of powerful magic she dismembered Cheerilee and made her rain all over the ally in the form of chunks of meet and streams of blood. One things was wrong before killing Cheerilee she said something among the lines “you enjoyed every second of it and now here you have your scarlet harvest” then she collapsed and Hooves the criminologist walked in with some cops an picked her up, they called the case “The Scarlet Harvest” and Twilight was somehow executed over those happenings.
Days after Luna came for Nyx and I haven’t seen her since. The university was closed for two days and when we got back there was a new branch for criminology, all of the teachers are now under investigation given our nature of working at night, and some of us like me Dark Shine and Star Dust have being given the week so that they could investigate out research.
Being innocent I am taking this time to have some fun with my friends, but for a few days everything had being and will be a little blue.
Tonight it will be just Dark Shine and me she should be arriving soon and I am getting ready to go out, it is just nice enough to go out without layers and not being cold, the moon is full and everything looks like it could be daytime, but Luna’s work fills the skies with sparks of silver, tonight is just what I need to get back on my cheerful self.
The time arrived and Dark Shine is a the door, there is something wrong however, her knocking is frantic and she is hissing something that I can’t really understand, as I get close I can make out some of her words: “Shadow!... Shadow open up, please open up I think we are in trouble the Princess is here Shadow open please” she said in low voice, I walked unalarmed to the door and opened up to see my Dark Shine with worried eyes, as soon the door was open she darted in and hide behind some furniture, as she did so I saw that indeed the Princess was there now way too close for me to just pretend that I am not home.
Celestia was walking towards me, too obvious to think otherwise, she was followed by two Lunar Guards who didn’t seem happy at all.
“I am innocent, I gave you the Nexus book and all my research, I am free and have nothing to do with anything since my work to better myself, why have you bring guards to my home?” I said as she stopped merely ten feet from my door.
“I am not here for you Shadow Spark, I am here for your services” she said calmly.
“I am a teacher, for tactics you can talk to Shining Armor he has all my designs for combat and rescue, for biology talk to Hooves he is keeping me out of my lab, for alchemy you have a better library than me, magic development my work is done with that, light crystals talk to Dark Shine by mail please she is now heading that department as well as botany and soils” I said with somehow a flat voice.
“New topic Shadow… I want you to help me with laws and criminology studies, do you have any experience” she asked knowing the answer.
“Yes, if you don’t remember… I had to study all the Equestrian laws, to save my tail from your accusations, I know the law and I know the studies of criminology, well at least what was out from Hooves at the moment which is all that is known since he invented the topic” my voice with a little spark of interest to what Celestia was saying, I may not like her but I like knowledge.
“May I come in… we need to talk in a more private environment” she said shortening the distance, I moved to a side and let her in, the guards fallowed without even giving me a look.
Inside Celestia looked around and found a place in the small living room so that she could seat comfortably. “I would have thought that you lived a little better than this being a teacher at the university and teaching so many subjects” she said without looking at me just at all my stuff in the house.
“Look I work for minimal wage, thanks to you no one will pay a bit more, no one hires me except for your university, and no one gives me a bigger place thanks to you as well, so I am stoke here, I hope you like the things that you do… the accusations without proof! that is” I said harshly, the guards reacted but Celestia raised a hoof to stop the motion.
“Sherlock Hooves made a mistake, my sister went on with his mistake and now Twilight is dead… I need you to study the crime scene, I want you to find proof that Twilight was innocent” Celestia went on.
“Why should I help you?… why do you care? She is dead Celestia if she was innocent you can’t do anything”
“I have things in mind that I need you to help me with, including things that are a bit sketchy, but to do so I need to know with proof that she was innocent, Shadow not that you have an option but if you help me all the discrimination will stop, and even with your bizarre magic you will be accepted as well as your friends of the night”
“What if I refuse?”
“Dark Shine… I know you are here, I know where you are hiding, and I know a bit more than just that please just come out we all need to talk” Celestia said focusing in nothing in particular. To that Dark Shine walked into view and seated herself next to me trying to hide her anxiety.
“Sorry it is just that the “Dark Skies” case involved me and gave me a sensation that makes me fear you” she said in an apologetic tone.
“As it should have” Celestia said as her horn began to shine. In a blink of an eye the entire room went white, and as it came it went and the light was gone once again revealing that nothing had being changed except for Dark Shine who was no longer in the room, instead in her seat was a changeling seating as if nothing had just happened, the guards where on edge and I was wearing a frown.
“So you knew… Why Celestia did you do this to her? she is not doing anything wrong” I said angrily
“You need to help me and this was the only way, help me to save… it”
“What happened?, what are you talking about?” Dark Shine said unaware that her disguise was gone
“No… no nonononono! NO!!!! my skin! I am ugly Shadow what happened, NO!!! HELP MEEE! My skin… I am ugly again… YOU!!! CELESTIA YOU EVIL… you took my skin” Dark Shine said crying, she didn’t like her changeling self, and now she was exposed before the guards, she knew what that meant, she had to run and leave everything behind or be killed under the Equestrian banishment law that dictated her kind unwelcome among ponies.
“She is my friends Celestia we will both leave now… thanks for ruining my life once more”
“You can run… but you can’t hide, under the banishment law any party protecting a changeling will be considered a traitor to the crown and there for executed publicly, your friend will meet the same end, so hear me out, you will help me get my revenge, you will find Twilight innocent, and run the case against Hooves, you will teach me biology so that I can entertain myself with my new experiments, and if you are as smart as I think, you will bring all but Cheerilee back to me and their love ones” Celestia said a bit harshly.
“Ok… screw you”
“You will die fast, I promise you that, but your friend there… I will make you watch how inch by inch of her body gets mutilated while I use my magic to keep her alive every single second of the proses, I will make sure you feel her pain if you don’t help me”
“The guards are going to talk Cely we are already dead” I said as I looked at my Dark Shine who was finally consuming enough of my love for her to materialize a new disguise, looking just like she did before, still she wouldn’t quit crying knowing what was coming, something tells me she knows something I don’t
“Celestia… I know what you want, he is good Celestia, spare him, take me I do it for you just… don’t make him do what he isn’t meant to” Shine said between cries
Celestia looked at Shine with disgusted eyes “I know you are in, I need you to help him keep his sanity, but you alone aren’t smart enough, I want the only pony smart enough to match Twilight he is the only one who can do all and try to bring them back”
“How in Tartarus am I supposed to bring back the dead”
“I will help you, but before that… we have to make dead the guards that babysit me, the same that knows the secret about you and Shine… today you teach me biology tomorrow we work re-opening “The Scarlet Harvest” we will need Dust as well to keep track of our steps and modifying the laws so that you can work your ceremony again a couple of times the team will be: me the leader, you the brain, Shine the infiltrator and Dust the document keeper, there may be a few more but for now we will turn Equestria around in terms of law and order to benefit those who work for the good of our society”
The guards uneasy started to walk towards the door, a unicorn and a pegasus getting ready to attack and scape, one of my tactics from my books, Celestia knew them all, the unicorn with his horn glowing and the pegasus revealing the blades a the tip of his wings in defensive pose they would never attack the princess, but they would have to in order to scape and keep the assault until they make it to Canterlot, they knew that it was going to be impossible, but they didn’t want to die.
Celestias horn glowed, windows and doors shot, guards were lifted of their hooves and set facing up on my living room table. “Now… Hooves is mine, but you have to teach me what to do, organs, pressure points, everything I must know to cause pain and horror”
“Wait Cely please they don’t have anything to do with this if you want to kill them do it without pain I never agree to this” I said hoping for mercy, knowing that none would be given
“They sited with Luna, Shadow you with me, you don’t have to agree with anything just do… once this is done you will never have to deal with me again” She said as she summoned my kitchen knives and chemistry set from the kitchen and my room “Now be a good teacher and tell me how to create a horrible death”
Tonight I was going to hang out with my special somepony at the park, enjoy Luna's star filled night and eat our favorite treats, tonight I was going to forget about the theater fire that killed some of my favorite foals that came to my house before I went to work to ask about the wonder of college or interesting things regarding nighttime and light, today with the company of the one I love I was going to let rest my friends Twilight and her not as kind friends, I was going to let go of my secret crush for Rainbow Dash and Applejack, I was going to forget about the annoying commentaries that Rarity forced me to listen as she referred to my black coat, I was going to ignore my craving for Pinkie's chocolate muffins, the yellow one was cute but never made an impression to be honest, Spike the one who helped me when I needed to talk to Twilight was also gone, and tonight I was going to move on after saying my final good bye.
Tonight Shine and me where going to be an item, our research moved into our home, moving together only mean building a door thru out kitchen wall because we live next to the other, research at home meant opening our own school at day or night it was going to be ours. Tonight we were going to start our happiness together.
Tonight Celestia came to my home with two guards; she striped my changeling special somepony of herself revealing her kind to the guards, tonight I am guilty of hiding a changeling, of loving, of being smart, and the only way to keep my happiness and my beloved means torturing two innocent strong stallions from the Lunar guard to teach Celestia how to cause pain to those who indirectly killed her beloved student Twilight Sparkle. Tonight even if I can keep what makes me happy I am going to die inside.
“Ok Cely I can’t do this” I grab a knife with my magic thing that I haven’t used since I got the ability and darted it in the eye of the unicorn scrambling his brain, killing him instantly “I won’t make them suffer for something they are trained to do by you, Luna and my own work”
“Oh… you are going to do it or she will get her real skin ripped off and she will bathe in salt until she dries out, and you will watch”
“Ok I will do it" I can't let her take my Shine I could at least save her, "I will forget his pain make him into a science project and you will know what you need but once this is done you let us all go and meet your side of the deal for my services, please just leave us alone” I said getting ready for the most bizarre show of my life.
Celestia nodded and the knife lifted from the unicorn by my magic and floated in front of me, Shine placed a hoof on my shoulder and said to my ear “it will be ok, we all will suffer together, but we have each other, I believe there is a future for us” I know what she means, I know is not just she and I she is talking about Dust and all the poor souls that will be dragged by Celestias vengeance and I am just a tool and as a tool I should act.
The guard stared with fear as the blade neared his wrist and I started to prepare my class for my students, Celestia and Shine who was next to me ready to help at any moment of need.
“Ok Cely pay attention because I am not going to repeat myself, you mustn’t let go of him at any moment of the procedure or I will have to kill him instantly, he is strong and trained, at any chance of freedom he will become a threat and his life will be over”
“To begin there are three forms of torture: pain, mental, and both; today we will work on the hardest one which is what you want, physical and mental trauma, I am about to make this poor subject suffer in pain and see what is making him so uneasy”
“I am going to cut his wrist without damaging the veins or arteries, and then do the same on the lower extremities”
“Now I am about to cut to the abdomen from the cuts at the end of each extremity, from the bottom up till you reach just above the pubic region, on top, from side to the center till both cuts from each front leg meet at the center of the thorax, now a last cut from the center of the thorax down till you meet with the cut from the lower extremities”
The knife move cutting easily on the skin off the stallion until all the cuts met making it look like it was a single cut that divided to each of his extremities, the stallion tried to move as much as he could but Celestia’s magic was keeping him in place, Celstia was smiling, just like my students when something interesting comes up, but in contras my dear Shine was looking very sick I think she knows what is going to happen when I finish my inspections of the cuts.
“Now before anything happens, this will bring adrenalin and the stallion will be extremely strong and aware for some time, so in any case his wings need to be gone”
The knife flew to the base of his wings and with a horrid sound cut thru flesh and bone and the wings were detached, the stallion cried and screamed under the magic that was holding his mouth shot, it was so his pain that he manage to make out some words under the muffled screams “noooo, noo I won’t say anything please don’t, don’t kill me” was what my mind made of his hysterical pleads, my brain push that aside and I merged myself on the task ahead.
Wings off, cuts well made, the stallion under the magic was crying and screaming I had Celestia and Shine watching at this moment everything went silent, no scream, no Cely or Shine just me and the stallion “Sorry dude… I kind of have to do this, and well if I had no option I will do my best to at least enjoy this moment”.
Little did I know that I was talking loud, Celestia grinned, Shine cried and I began my work.
From my chemistry set I toke a small bottle with a blank label, I know what it is, fluoridric acid this will eat away muscle and bone, only a few drops were needed to eliminate the abdomen and expose the organs, and so a few drops fell on the bare abdomen and the muscles tensed… little by little the music intensified in my ears, the stallion cried of what could very well be pain or ecstasy and Cely’s face was not so different from one of an orgasm. My hoof felt shaky as well from the excitement, as the acid slowly but steadily eat away the muscle exposing the organs.
Now where to start, something not to painful so that the stallion will not die before time… intestines, those are always fun… just pull and pull until all of it is out, then yank it out from the sphincter, and then cut it from the stomach. And so the pulling began as the entire world morphed into a world of music and death dances, the convulsions of my new friends made me dance as well, Celestia danced with me when I asked her to help, organ by organ was carefully removed, scream by scream was gracefully accepted as the stallion by magic and skill stayed awake during the entire operation, blood was never splattered it was harvested, organs were never damaged they carefully cooked and feed to the hungry stallion and to us as well, of the mess there was nothing else but an empty carcass missing all four legs, eyes, wings and life. At some point Cely and I may had sex because she was covered with cum shots over her face and flank and I was feeling almost drunk with pleasure.
“Dude… did we do all this in like thirty minutes… I was think that is was a little longer”
“What the hay are you talking about?”
“Dude is like nine thirty and we started at nine?

“Before she left I gave her the pass to Equestria, and explained that you weren’t in control so if you play it right you may still have a chance”
“Now what?”
“Theater, then to the ruins at the Everfree I told Shine to get Dust, she should be with him working at the theater they already sent me mail”
“Cool, what do we do with all this?”
New light
I woke up to the sound of my alarm, meaning the it was seven thirty in the morning, I have thirty minutes to get to the school next to my apartment complex, I am the teacher for Equestrian history and natural sciences. No meal this morning I usually don’t eat this early so I skip right to lunch during my break around twelve o’clock, this is every day for me: wake up, get my stuff, teach three classes in the morning, eat, three more class in the afternoon and the rest of the time grading homework.
Today however there is something different, I walk to my mailbox to find two items, one was my monthly bill, I am never happy when it shows up but I know there is one every month, the other one is a scroll, neat in yellowish paper tied with a maroon riven, it had a golden wax stamp keeping it sealed meaning that it haven’t being open in the delivery, some of my mail get open for some reason but this one was different, this was from royalty, so I knew it was something important.
I open it up to find careful lettering describing a new job opportunity:
To Shadow Spark.
Grades and performance from the School of Advance Studies of Manehattam shows that your students have a great potential, after further studies and interviews we have discovered that your classes are some of the favorites among the young and that your students or students that have taken any of your classes show a greater level of retention that those of different schools or different teachers of the same school.
We are here to offer you an opportunity to come teach at our new facility in Ponyville, the new branch of Moon Light University located at the Night Stone Castle. Feel free to study your possibilities and contact us by Friday in order to make the preparation for your arrival to the town of Ponyville.
We have studied your teaching abilities and we have designed a set of classes for you to teach, as well as a lab facility for research. Please take in consideration that this is a onetime offer whatever your decision may be you will not be judged over it.
Celestia
Over all however, my class this morning was first and I was going to take till the evening to make my decision, except that I know exactly what I am going to do.

Teachers where shifted, students gave me a party and two days later I was on my way to Ponyville, it was going to be a long trip specially because I could not buy a ticket for the train, the trip was going to take a few days but I was happy to finally be away from this city.
Ponyville was nice at first site, yep just upon arrival a set of five fillies come up to me as soon as I set food in the main plaza, I was used to have young ponies around me but this bunch was a bit invasive.
“Excuse mister, you are new here aren’t you?” a white filly started
“Sir, so how come you don’t have a cutiemark? A young orange pegasus asked without giving me chance to answer the first question.
“Will you like to join our club… we help ponies get thir cutiemark” a yellow one with reddish mane asked equally fast, the other two were quiet to my relive.
“Ok girls… here I am from Manehattam so not I am not from here, I don’t know why I haven’t a cutiemark yet I do have many talents so it doesn’t bother much and I am new here, and for sure way too old to be running around with a bunch of fillies so I don’t think that I should join with you” I said with the nicest face that I could show them as they turned down their gazes in disappointment “sorry girls you should know better than to go talking to random people on the streets, next time it could be some weirdo and for sure you should be careful of whom you talk to” I said with an apologetic tone.
As soon as I finish my little explanation a purple unicorn mare approached us, as soon as she reached the children she said in hushes “Nyx come on don’t talk to estrangers, get your friends and lets go, you have tons of homework to do and I am sure the others to” the black little unicorn nodded and signaled her friends to fallow her, so they did and I was alone facing the unicorn now.
“Hello mam, May I ask you a question” I said politely.
“No sorry I am busy, please stay away from the children, if you keep walking that street you will find the edge of town, have a safe trip… try to avoid the Everfree Forest” she said as she started to walk away.
Ok I was starting to get frustrated, as soon as I arrived children assaulted me with questions, some random mare actel like I was some kind of deviant and pretty much asked me to leave the town and I have already lost my lunch designed time and haven’t any idea where to go get my schedule nor my apartment key.
I walked the street starting to think that I made a mistake coming here when I saw what looked like a big carrousel with windows, everything neat and girly colored all over I was thinking it was some sort of day care yet, inside there were all sorts of dresses and manikins, I was at a dress shop.
“Excuse me mam?”
“Not now I am creating” she said before I could finish
After five minutes of shuffling different types of fabric she finally turned with a smile on her face, I would have said that she was very pretty except that she had horrible manners, as soon as she saw me she said “Oh dear Celestia you are horrible” to which I answer “likewise” and as fast as it toke me to walk in she was throwing me out, the door shot behind me and I was on my way to town once more.
If there is one thing I would suggest to any one is not to talk to pink ponies… I don’t want to get to the details.
Finally some decent looking mare, she was of blond mane and orange coat, she had a hat that really brings up her personality and a way of talking that I have only heard from them folks of the south saying perhaps Applelusa region why not?
“Mam I am looking for the library, nopony around here have being able to help me, I am looking to get my class schedule so I can prepare my class at the Moon Light University… can you tell me where to find the library” I asked trying to keep myself calm, I am not used to talk to such beauties.
“Oh, don’t worry sugar cube, classes don’t start till next week, now can I interest you in some Apple family apples, if you travel you would know this are some of the best apples in all of Equestria” she said showing a set of apples to me.
“They sure look good, but I haven’t any bits at the time mam, and I need to get my schedule to see what classes I am teaching they didn’t tell me that on the scroll that I got inviting me to work here” I said hoping for a better answer.
“You? A teacher? Golly… and you haven’t any bits?... well I am sure you have your reason to be here, so go to the end of the street and find a big tree house that is the library… but it should be close by now” she said without even looking at me. It was around three in the afternoon, I haven’t eaten anything and they are telling me that the library a “tree house” is closed… I will try but I think I should have never come here.
On my way I get hit by a dashing rainbow… funny I used those words for the fact that we she stood up she introduced herself as Rainbow Dash, in the whole day she was the only one who told me her name, she was from my point of view even prettier than the one with the apples.
“Wow you are as fast as you are pretty; I am Shadow Spark nice to meet you Rainbow Dash, can you tell me how far am I from the library” I said trying to hide my pain.
“Pretty!? I am tough, strong, fast, I am the fastest pony in Equestria” she said to my complement
“Ok you are all that that does not mean that someone like me can’t think that your awesome attributes aren’t pretty… may be pretty does not make it justice… a better word would be beautiful” I said clearly flirting.
To that she just smiled and laughed a little, “you are funny dude… any ways I take you to the library I was on my way there to see my friend, it is better this way she is closing early so that she could make the preparations for the teachers that will come for the opening of the university... are you one of them?” she asked smiling a bit, I think I am getting to her may be the trip wasn’t a waste “I am one of the teachers, I am going to see the librarian to get my schedule and ask about my apartment, all paid and picked by Celestia herself I am feeling a bit important by just walking around here it is supposed to be some sort of big deal” I said filling myself with some hope.
We walked and soon the tree house was welcoming out journey and we both quit our chatting when I began knocking on the door. When it opened I was welcomed by one of the fillies from the plaza, she was all black with purple mane, pretty glasses and a vest; I knew her to be Nyx, meaning that the unicorn that set me off was close by. Sure enough she walked to the as soon as she saw that it was me standing outside “sorry sir we don’t have anything to give you and the edge of the twon is the other way if you keep going down the street you will get to…” I cut her off before she kept going with her insulting assumptions. “I am Shadow Spark teacher at the Moon Light University, am I to assume that you are the librarian”
“Oh yes I am Twilight Sparkle sorry about the miss understanding, I was expecting the teachers to be a little more… well more” she said looking at my old saddlebag.
“It is fine I just want my schedule and the address to my new living quarters can I have them”
“Yeah just show me your scroll”
I looked on my bag, it was almost empty for I used must of my stuff to get myself rooms at the inns of the towns on my way here, the scroll was easy to find, I pulled it out and showed it to Twilight who’s eyes widened.
“Oh sorry I… I am really sorry it is just that you don’t have a cutiemark and well a stallion your age is kind of weird… and talking to children… you just seemed off I am sorry I should not have jump to conclusions” she said as she opened the door and allowed me to walk in “Nyx if you may can you please find mister Spark’s papers… girls this is Shadow Spark teacher at the university he will be part of our community for some time try to be kind to him” Twilight said to the girls who were all seating in a circle working on some homework.
I wave to all they did the same and we all got to our business, Twilight and Rainbow got talking I got reading my schedule and studying the map of the town to find the Sunny Days apartment complex closest to the university.
After talking a little Twilight and I understood that the other was indeed smarter that what we had given each other credit of, and that we had a lot in common we had some pleasant talks before I was done with my papers and I was on my way to the complex ready for my first night at Ponyville.

When I opened my eyes I saw Shine, with an upset look on her face, next to her was Dust he had more of a worried face and I was about ten inches above the ground, my body completely parallel to the ground. “You had him kill, you broke him, and you showed up when I was punishing him for being evil… how dare you, why are you here” Shine said to someone I could not see, apparently I was him and I was being punished by Shine so I am sure she is talking to Celestia who must be the one keeping me floating in the air. Sure enough she spoke from behind me “Yes I woke something inside him but that is not reason for you to hit him senseless, in any case it is me who you should be upset with” she said calmly, then I knew what was going, I wasn’t arriving to Ponyville, that happened long ago I was just dreaming or remembering, Shine had hurt me bad I can feel the pain on my face, she must have bucked me hard, and I deserved it, just a few hours ago I was done killing a Night Guard and I was doing Celestia the whole time, drunk with the sounds of death that ran in my ears as the singing of angels that only made the carnage more desirable… I knew now Shine and I may not be able to get over this.
“Cely… let her be, she is right, I am a monster” I said as I was shifting to land my hooves.
“Cely… you have nicknames for her?” Dust asked perplexed
“She is a Student now so I guess I do…”I said with indifference
“So what now… this place have being flattened, the new theater will be build next week there is nothing here” Shine said flatly
“Yes but you guys understand biology, is there no way you can find organic matter in all this stuff” Celestia said with hope
“Well yes but there are plants and everything… better idea, Dust use a locator spell to try find large items that are made of anything from metal to plastic, exclude wood and fabric, focus on metal, plastic, ceramics, and glass… once you have located the large concentrations test for any biological matter attached to that… Cely? You sure Hooves didn’t try this” I said looking for the most logical searching method that I could think of.
“Perhaps but he is an earthpony so I am not sure he was thinking on using magic to find things hard to see” Celestia said looking in the direction that the water toke most of the pieces of the theater, that was Twilight’s last spell before she killed Cheerilee on the alley next to my home.
“I am and earthpony, Cley” I said a bit insulted.
“You honestly are comparing yourself to Hooves” She answered to my statement
“Guys quit, I have something” Dust said looking a bit worried “I don’t like where this is going but I found a plastic cylinder, it is a bit broken but I am sure it is a cylinder, in it there is traces of bio-substances, rich in iron.
Shine’s eyes widened and I could feel mine fallow on the same motion
“So?” Celestia asks
“Big possibility that we may found blood Cely was Twilight ever inside the theater during the incidents” I asked as I moved closer to Dust for the next set of instructions.
“She was during the play” Celestia said low as I found my way above the readings of plastic.
“Ok Cely you are strong with magic, the cylinder is about five feet deep right under me, is the only hard structure under the dirt Cely you have to pull it up”
Little by little the dirt began to shift, and the half a cylinder came to view, it was dirty but there was a clear mark of something that would have being liquid that left a mark on the wall of the container, it was brown, faint but clear to all, iron filled liquid it was blood I could feel it.
“Shine did you bring you sampler kit?”
“Yes… you are a bastard you know… how can you help her after all that she did, and made you do?” she said still upset with me… I was having a good time; I was using my intelligence to prove that I was smarter and more equipped than the pony that tried to take me down no more than just a few months ago.
“Look Shine what happened, Happened and I can’t change it, you can forgive me and get thru this with me, or you can hate me, and work with me till we are done here and then you can leave, I will be sad and may never recover, but it is your happiness and freedom that I am doing this for, hate me if you will but that won’t change that I am good at this, I don’t like it, but I do like it, I don’t want to cheat on you, and I haven’t what happened last night with Cely does not mean that I love her, I was drunk, or high, I was something… I did something that got me there, I am not happy about it, but Cely is, and she holds our freedom, you can have it when we are done, you can share it with me or go alone, but I will finish this for you and Dust, then we can all go separate ways, now please test for blood and try telling me what caused it to spill” I said as composed as I could but I knew that things were going to be the same not after this not ever I knew inside that I was going to kill again and that Cely was going to get her pleasures again so I focused on the only important thing, my friends’ freedom I will never be free from this but I least they will.
Test came positive for blood and fluoridric acid coated the wall of the cylinder as well “ok so here is what happened here, at some point last week inside of the theater a room was equipped with acid containers, the acid was heat up to cause damage on skin and muscle, Cely if you remember the stallion’s muscled were consumed by the acid, but there was little blood, in this case there was a lot of acid, it was hot so it dissolved flash and muscle much faster than my room temperature last night… Dust do you have anything on the expertise of Twilight” I said as I was taking in all of the new found evidence.
“Ok guys… Cely we have something in hand, my face hurts, and I am tired but I am also confident, that Hooves didn’t do his work right… we need a team to remove the dirt and investigate more” I said with an air of victory.
“Sorry, we have only half a day the construction crew will be here this afternoon... Luna is still keeping me on a leash thinking that I am sick on sorrow… she didn’t allowed my investigation, and she is now working on finding new guards to replace the ones that were under the Changeling attack that you and your friends helped me survive… she even performed a good scan on me before I was allowed to leave the castle” Celestia said annoyed yet proud of her deception
“You little… my kind haven’t come here since the banishment, you are going to start something if you don’t take care of your own wrong doing… I hate you…” Shine said letting a tear run down her cheek, she turned and walked away from us leaving about six feet before she stopped “Shadow dear… I wish I had never met you” she said as she turned around I saw the most heartbroken smile I had ever seen and I could do nothing else but think of our future, we are now what we had being fighting out entire life, I was a killer and she was the lover of a killer she loved me, and that tore her inside, I think she will leave, but I know none of us were going to be happy again, it was just a matter of time till Dust was dragged to our realization.
We walked in the dark, Celestia at my side and Shine at my other, Dust next to Shine we were on the way to my house, tomorrow we will officially re-open the “Scarlet Harvest” case and an entire team of solar guards were going to help clear the ruins at the Everfree. Cely comes with us to keep the guards away, they are all over Ponyville now looking for Changelings, and we had one on our team Cely was going to keep her safe, and us under her wing so that tomorrow we could set foot and trace the events of last week.
Alone in thoughts I saw Shine going to her door, Dust to his Cely walked in with me to my home, she walked to my bed and set herself down “Shadow, I told Luna that I wasn’t coming back tonight, that I needed air, if you don’t mind… can I stay here with you” she said to me here eyes watered, she had never heard somepony actually meaning the words “I hate you” much less someone important to someone who had just become important to her.
“Stay but understand, yesterday was something that if I can help it, it won’t happen again. You know?... I could have had Rainbow Dash, I was crazy about her, see her sexier than Shine, Dash is just all that I want if it was sex only, you… aren’t far you are just a bit tall for me, sexy all over that is for sure, and I think that I could have you now if I wanted to, but is not just sex Cely is… Shine loves me, and I love her, we aren’t an item yet but perhaps I have being waiting too long to make it official” I said feeling my own sorrow.
“Shadow, I… hated you because you challenged my nature, no earthpony should have the ability of magic, and then you come along being smarter than Twilight, beating Hooves and even me with your smarts, and now teaching me… you are becoming my missing piece, and I know what you are saying but I also know from experience, that love is not forever, it can be misjudge, and sentenced to death, it can be misunderstood and it can die leaving nothing but anger and pain behind, you are filling her spot, and giving me the tool to fight what toke her from me, Shadow… I will not take your love away but if it does not last with her you have a chance with me” she said, to this I smiled, not from happiness or joy just to let her know that I know, she had damage us enough for me to try, but not tonight, this will be done, Shine will be gone by her choice and my pain will bring me to her the only one who will understand me, even when we belong to opposite worlds, I the one in darkness and shadows and she the ruler of the sun, the future was going to be something interesting that is for sure.
“Sleep well Cely tomorrow we move to the ruins and if everything works out the way I think the day after we see hooves in court” I said as I walked off to the couch, tomorrow will be an important hard work day and I was going to build my name to be the smartest criminologist in Equestria.
Chap 3
Building a case
I woke up to the sound of banging on my door, it was just horrible, I have a headache and the sounds is not making it better, I got up slowly to find myself in the living room. Little by little I walked to the door, I hate being sluggish but I am just not the kind of pony that likes working during the day, I see the clock on the wall and as I suspected it was way too early for me to be up 7:30 in the morning after spending two nights awake and a full day, I was at least hoping to wait until it was dark before getting up.
“Going!!… for Celestia’s sake quit with all that noise!” I said shortening the distance between the couch and the door; as soon as I opened the door I regretted my lack of manners, standing right before me was a Solar guard that seemed not to be very happy.
“Are you OK?” he asked unconcerned
“Well I have a bad headache, I am sleepy and now I have some authority figure standing at my door… I am not sure if I am actually” I said hoping to lighten the mood
“Is Celestia here” he asked flatly
“Wait… you mean like Princess Celestia ruler of Equestria” I said also flatly
“Yes there are some that say that they saw her walking this way and talking to you… aren’t you Shadow Spark?”
“Yeah I am… if you had any idea about the “Dark Skies” court case you should know that I am like her least favorite pony… yet she was here, asking for help regarding the “Scarlet Harvest” case but she left short after I told her that I couldn’t help her” I said knowing that such would have being Cely’s wishes.
“Well… there are rumors that she and a set of three ponies where looking around at the old theater site… Luna thinks that it isn’t healthy for Celestia to be looking around places that could bring her back memories of Twilight Sparkle so if you see her again please make sure to let a guard know, we are searching for her since she actually did spend the night out from the castle” the guard said unsatisfied with my answer.
“Fine… now can I go back to bed?, as soon as they reopen my branch I want to be able to go to work at the university”
“Yeah sure, by the way sir… you have a bad nose bleed you should clean that up and try sleeping in the right pose” the guard said as the gave a salute and turned to walk away
I closed the door and turned to go back to my room when I remembered that Celestia was actually there, oh right, that was why I was in the living room. Celestia is still sleeping on my bed, I fell from my couch and that is why my head hurts and I have a nose bleed. I got back in the couch and prepared myself for bed when I heard some shuffling from my bedroom.
“Good job Shadow, we are getting in good synchronization here, perhaps we should think of getting a little closer, why don’t you climb in bed with me” Celestia said from my bedroom
“Ok, Cely… I know you are trying and all but I am interested in Shine and I won’t cheat on her if I can help it” I said trying to get back to sleep
“So how do you know she isn’t cheating on you right now” Celestia said with a low voice
“Why would she?”
“She did…” Celestia said flatly
“Is not working Cely I trust her”
“Do you trust Dust?”
“Yeah, he is my best friend”
“Do you trust him with Shine?"
My eyes widened “you are not saying…”
“She and Dust were together since we got here… and they were busy to” Celestia said turning to face me from the room
“Yeah, she knows where I sleep, but I wasn’t in my bed she must have being hungry Cely is not her fault, Changelings have a bad disadvantage when they haven’t much love to feed on… besides probably I have to explain to her why it was you on my bed and not me… I still need to talk to Dust, but I trust shine” I said remembering Shine’s first week at the university, she was known to be loose.
The discussion didn’t go too far Cely went back to sleep and so did I it was going to be a long day and night if we wanted to avoid the guards and still have the investigation.

Four in the afternoon and I am finally well rested, Cely was up working some breakfast and Shine as well as Dust where already in my living room getting ready for the trip to the Everfree.
“Ok so what are you all doing here, and why is Cely cooking” I asked to neither one in particular
“Well you were a sleep, we need food and we need to leave before it gets dark to see a little while in there” Shine said a little harshly.
“Ok now what did I do…”
“You slept with Celestia” Dust said with a smile
“Ok… no I din’t”
“Does not matter you weren’t there when I needed some of your… care” Shine said still upset
“Celestia can’t sleep on my couch it is too small” I said getting annoyed
“Well… I am really sorry but I needed to feed” Shine said emotionlessly
“Yeah, dude you screwed up… you know” said Dust
“Ok cool so what do I do now… damn it!” I said knowing where all this was going
“Well I discovered that you are not the only one I can love… I also discovered that you are not the only one that can love me… and I feel safer with someone that does not kill for pleasure” Shine said still emotionlessly
“Fine… so I loss… damn… lest just finish this, then I can just… go away” I said feeling my eyes watering
“You are giving up?” Shine asked still without even showing any interest in me
“You know, I was close to ask you… the question… I was going to, at the park, before Cely came to me for help, I protected you, and I gave all my sanity for you… I killed to keep you safe… and now you tell me that you can love other just because they feed you with pleasure… go on be happy I won’t stand on your way but I am tired of all this drama I am going to finish this and then… well… I guess I am going away… with you or without… if you can I can to” I said as I stood up and walked to the bathroom
Shine tried to say something but all her talking got muffled by the sound of the water as I was taking a shower.

“So Cely you will have to take us all there with a teleportation spell, you can take us all with your magic and that would make it hard on the guards to find us, once there you have to use an invisibility spell on you and must of our stuff, you should also keep one of us invisible in case there are guards… lastly you need to sign a permit for whoever is visible, not me, to dig and look for clues regarding the new case, also during my bath I wrote the new case and sent it to Luna so that she can get the court ready, the new case is known as “hooves on Hooves” case Luna sent a reply saying that we should not help you Cely, but that if we go on with this that it would be hard to find Hooves guilty over a closed case, Knowing what you want for him Cely I think it would be best if we just have him pass a bad time but allowed him to win the case and then find him outside a dungeon, if he loses the case then you wait about a week before you go biology on him” I said as I was getting ready with my saddlebag.
“Are you ok?” Cely asked concerned
“I am sorry ok I just wanted to be sure…” I cut Shine as she tried to apologize “Keep it to you self… you should think before you talk… I don’t wanna hear from you anything unless it has something to do with the case” I said coldly
“Shadow look it was only to have her strong for today there was no feelings...” Dust started
“Keep it Dust… our friendship is on hold as if now, don’t say anything that is not related to the case” I said walking to the center of the group
“Time to go Cely… don’t make me wait” I said coldly even to Celestia
“So it is Shine who will remain invisible with me and you two get whatever you may need before the guards get here” Celestia said from behind us and then we were alone
This place is different from anywhere I had ever being before, there were trees everywhere and after only a week some have even started to grow from the ruins, a large pile of rocks and rubbish is all that is left of what once was a large building, over all it seemed beautiful, if it wasn’t because the air was stale with the smell of death I would be thinking that we were at the wrong place.
The place had not yet being cleaned up which mean that all the evidence is still here, yet that very well means that it could be dangerous and that some traps may still be set for unwelcome visitors, it toke nothing but a single step to realize that I wasn’t wrong, every step needed watching and with careful eyes.
As soon as I took my first step the ground bellow me cracked and I fell, it was a short fall and I didn’t get hurt but I was sure I needed more caution that what I was prepared for, I landed on my hooves, the rubbish just landed around me, I was safe at least from the piles that made what was left of the room.
This must have being some sort of interrogation room, there was nothing more but a small holding wall which was still holding its last victim.
In a stone plaque that was the holding wall near the center of the round room was still hanging from the front hooves the body of a young filly. Messy mane and cream body the young filly was bore in two halves, maggots eating what was left of her both halves boiling with the larvae of flies, something about as horrid if not even worst of the scene at my apartment.
A closer look gave it all away, it was Twist her big glasses and what was left of her face meant no possible mistake, the question now is, how did she die?, looking around I found nothing of interest, I looked up to see where had Dust gone and why haven’t he helped me yet, what I saw made my heart sink, his eyes where filled with tears, his hooves trying hard to hold what was left of breakfast and I heard the horrid sound of crying while puking, such a stallion wasn’t made for this carnage.
“Dust! A scan please I need to know how to get out of here and I need to know if there is anything else but a body and maggots here, scan for stone structures and bio matter please” I said loud to get his attention from the scene.
He looked back at me and his horn glowed, the pattern of the ruins materialized in midair showing every passage and all the bio matter, I was standing in the first room which seemed to be right below the entrance, one of the few places that was still standing after the place was stripped from the magic that was holding it up.
“Shadow there are several pebble size creatures around you, not maggots, that are little by little getting close to you… perhaps you should get out of there” he said looking at what I was seeing myself on the floating tridimensional map in the center of the room.
“Ok find a way the get me out of here I can’t really climb up you know” I said a little annoyed
Looking around I saw nothing walking towards me so I suspected of insects, little did I know that insects where a close fit for what was coming my way, little after I started looking to the ground in suspects of insects I saw something move, I saw something that gave me chills, it wasn’t an insect it was an arachnid, an Everfree beetle was slowly making its way to me, I know very well, where there is an Everfree beetle there are several nearby, I looked up to the map there where hundreds, nearing on my location, almost next to me a big pile of bio matter, I looked around and saw pink hair, with my magic I got a three bottles from my saddlebag and had them floating before me, I picked with magic the closest beetle and a hoofful of the pink hair and a little bit of the of the hair from what was left of Twist.
Without any more time to wait for Dust I packed my bottles and jumped to the air, as soon as I was of the ground my back glowed and reviled a pair of wings that even when trans lucid had enough force to lift my body and allow me to fly thru the same whole I felt in, landing awkwardly next to Dust who was still trying to transmute some rope out of plants I gave out some air in relief and readied myself for the obviously incoming questions.
“So you can fly” Celestia said from somewhere on my right
“Why didn’t you tell me” Shine’s voice rang from the same direction
“Why didn’t you just come out of the whole before then?... why did you ask me to get you out if you could fly?” Dust asked a bit upset
“Ok I wasn’t ready for you all to know, I was keeping it a secret, and you must to, I don’t use magic unless I need to and I don’t fly unless there is no other option” I said harshly “please don’t ask anymore of me, I wanted to be more, to be special, to help pony kind with my intelligence, instead I am a deviant, I hide and love enemies of the crown, and I kill the very stallions that my books train to protect royalty… I am none of what I wanted to be and all what I hated to even think about” I said as I turned around to bring up the map from the whole.
“You aren’t the only one with secrets” Dust said behind me
“Whatever you wanna say, I don’t wanna hear much less when we are being watched” I said looking at the map that now showed more bio matter nearing our location.
“I am assisting Star Dust here to collect some samples from this crime scene, we have a permit from Celestia to work this area in order to shed some light on a case that even when close it should be re-opened” I said calmly
"You said that you couldn't help Celestia just this morning"
"I am not helping her I am helping Dust, he asked me to help him find and work the samples to see if could be considered evidence" I said with a friendly tone to my voice
“Star Dust have you seen Celestia today” the guard asked my friend who seemed confused by the question
“I haven’t seen her she wrote to me sent me the permit I am just here investigation and sampling some stuff, I may not even be part of the case if it re-opens but I was asked to help given my expertise” Dust explained.
“And what may that be” the guard insisted
“Well for example, we had some believes that there where acid involved to clean the scene at the theater, if there was any acid and somehow that could be proven, then I can say that Twilight the believed guilty party at the event would be hardly a suspect given the fact that her expertise involve merely magic, she has some knowledge of alchemy and potions but not enough to figure out what would be best to clean organic matter, that alone may point out to somepony with experience with lab equipment” Dust said sounding as the teacher that he was
“Well sounds interesting” a commanding voice sounded from the right
The guard turned and let out space for his superior, it was no other than Shining Armor who was still a bit down from last week’s events.
“You two think that you can prove Twilight innocent” Shining said with a frown
“Well we are studying the evidence on the princess' requests” I said watching my emotion over the situation
“Ok I am not saying that isn’t a good deed… but what is it important FOR?!!!, my sister is dead…” Armor said with watery eyes
“Well it may not bring her back but, do you really want her to go out as a blood thirsty killer, or would it be better to prove her a victim of an unfair trail” I said slowly
To that everyone in the campaign turned to look at Armor who looked back at me with the long lost hope flourishing again in his eyes “go on we will not disturb Celestia's wishes, find as much evidence as you can, my sister was no killer and you may be able to prove that, with just that I will be able to live with my wife without thinking what was that made my sister go out to do such heinous things” Armor said leading his party away from us.
The afternoon was ours; we studied every room of the maze finding horrible things in each, we found the rests of Pinky Pie, it was easy to take samples of each, but I was heartbroken when I saw that Pinky’s head was resting on Rainbow Dash’s hind legs I saw a sharp object in Pinky’s chest, Dash somehow was forced to kill Pinky, then I saw Dash’s body, she dug out the arteries on her own neck she killed herself after Pinky. We found a syringe; it was strong evidence specially knowing that Twilight didn’t have much medical experience.
Applejack was unrecognizable samples where still taken of a mess that seemed more like modern art, and we found Rarity at two side of a torture donkey, room after room sample after sample the evidence pointed out in many different ways but we haven’t actually found anything to prove Twilight innocent yet.
Finally we found Spike, he was the best preserved body, because he was a dragon his scales protected him from the environment, taking samples of him was hard but we managed from the scale less spot on his chest, all the tissue was a bit old and contaminated but we could ID each of them with some of Dust’s technology at the lab once they let us back in.

In our way back I somehow managed to fall back in the same whole that I did earlier, I was prepared for the beetles but something got my attention, mosquito net on a rectangular window, on the other side of it a well preserved room, there was a blanked and a makeshift pillow, but under the pillow was a pink rectangle, something similar to a book.
I used my magic to grab it and pulled my way, I removed the mosquito net and the book was in my hoof. It was hoof written on the cover in darker pink was carefully written the words “how to care for a good garden development” and inside a great set of instruction of how to care for a garden, after a few pages the book started to get a little estrange, especially regarding a theater play and ways to set different items, tools and traps to eliminate weeds.
Of all things I understand about eliminating weeds I can’t think of anything that would need a theater play, the analogy clicked and I was finally smiling, Twilight wasn’t guilty of the theater killings, nor the one behind the events of "The Scarlet Harvest” I can’t prove Cheerilee guilty but I can prove Twilight innocent now.
I once again flew out of the whole happy to have good news to Celestia, our case was wide open, we have real evidence and samples, if Hooves was as smart as everypony thinks he is maybe he would have found all this, apparently he was more interested on getting that branch at the university.
I stood at the same place where we arrived and spoke clearly “time to go home I have something interesting to read” and as soon as I was done talking I was back in my living room, Celestian and Shine where in front of me and Dust was at my side, the floating map was still on the air at my right clear for all to see, I stepped to the center and positioned myself to use the map as educational aid.
“Fillies and gentle courser I am here to announce that we have a case and I am about to explain every event in the ruins in order to bring everypony to my level: as you all can see here are the ruins that we were at today, I can’t say for sure but I think they all die around the same day, except for Twist, I can’t tell when she died due to the work the Everfree beetles did on her, I can say however that she was put in there and used to incubate the beetles, the beetles killed Fluttershy who was in that same room for some reason, then we have Applejack, she was squashed on a torture table I think there is not much to go on regarding her body, Rarity was cut in half from her privates to her head on a torture Donkey which is just a wage in between her legs, for some reason her yaw was missing, Pinky was cooked alive before Rainbow Dash finished her off, then she killed herself I assume because she was drugged somehow, Spike died from blood loss and lung trauma due to the penetration of a sharp object, it could have being a knife, and last we have just a pool of dry blood that I assume it was Twilight's except that it was way too big, Twilight would have died out of blood loss, according to the case she said that she was given life by the Elements of Harmony, I don’t know how those work but from what I see we need to identified every piece of evidence” I said preparing my next speech
“Now thanks to Dust modified locating spell we have a good map of the ruins and the kind of bio matter that we can find in there, plus we have this book that tells in detail how everything was done during the killings, including the incubation period of the beetles, Twilight’s harsh stabbing is here too, and something else I quote “I got her last breath” which I assume mean that whoever killed Twilight was happy with her on performance” I said looking at my students
“Now Cely get ready, you have a case, we have tomorrow to prepare it, and a hearing the day after, it will be hard to get any kind of conviction for Hooves but you don’t want that you want him to walk free, we can scare him but we want him free, if he is free we can get him on our terms and you can play biologist, all in all we can prove Twilight innocence, I will help you all you want but you have to be very careful on how you manage things ok?” I said looking at Celestia in the face.
“Dust get your bio kit, we need to know who is who with the samples that we have no identification”
“Shine you will have to turn into a Lunar guard and work yourself inside, we need to make sure everything will be in place for out hearing”
They all nodded at the same time and Celestia started walking towards my room, Shine gave me a look, which I returned with the same intensity and she lowered her view “I am sorry you know please don’t forget that” and she walked away Dust tried to get next to her but she wasn’t happy about it.
“I am free Shine… I am free to moan my pains and to cry my memories away, you do what you want but you today told me what I needed to be free once more” I said coldly
She turned and looked at me for a moment, that was it, I was remembering why I liked her, she knew what she did and then became a bit more happ,y she knew that I saw in her the same filly I saw when we met, but I was way too broken and tired tonight I may not have sex but I am going to share the bed with Celestia and Shine knew it but she also knew that I was back on the track to ask her the question.
Chap 4 the hearing

“Ok Shadow… it was you… you feed me too much I am having a hard time holding it in” She said blushing.
“Will you not be upset” she asks behind me.
“Nope if it was too much you should have said something… I don’t know why… you did hurt me in many ways, you changed me in many other ways, but the only thing that I want now is to be happy, and I think that by making you happy I am going to reach my own happiness, so go on, get read of what you don’t need and allow yourself to be happy so that I can be happy about that to” I said without slowing my pace.
“By the way, Nyx is in the north tower at the top… she has being taken care of by Sunny Days a Solar Guard that I kind of had history with” she said dropping her gaze.
“Cool let him know that shine is cool to see Nyx” I said without giving though to her actions.
“She may not be a child any more Shadow” she said in a low voice.
“What did you say?” I said a bit harsh.
“You telling me that your Sunny Days would do things to a little filly, Twilight’s daughter of all fillies, and you let that happen” I said now walking towards Celestia my invisible horn glowing with anger “my favorite student, I really hope Cely that nothing happened to Nyx or there would be Sunny Days all over Equestria” I said without thinking “just go and clear up for the food, let us finish the case and then we talk, I am making you happy Cely but you should know by now than that little filly deserves it more than you” I said reaching the table and taking my seat.
Dust was still waiting with his dish empty and shine was just fixing the final touches to her special meal.

Meal was good, Shine fixed hay and daisy soup my favorite, she added some cinnamon and peppers to give it a special flavor, it was all new to Celestia, but it was one of our common meals to celebrate good days, and being thankful to the things we could actually have being so alienated given our nature.
Everyone was in good spirits, Celestia was finally feeling well after her little episode earlier, she seemed a little more confident regarding the Sunny situation, to that very motion I was feeling a bit less upset as well, I mean seriously he is a Solar Guard for Celestia’s sake; Dust was getting ready with his graphics and Shine was fixing her disguises for when she would need them, I was getting a mental line up for my part on this court, the game was going to be interesting, but I am sure of our team and I have a piece of evidence that has pretty much won us the case.
The time passed slow, everyone was ready we were walking towards the door, no words were spoken, I was going to fight a battle, with a well prepared team, we all knew what was in play here, we all had our own little worries. Celestia just couldn’t lose, she would be considered too emotional to rule for some time, I and my friends couldn’t lose neither, our freedom and acceptance was going to be set back in case that we didn’t win.
“Ok Cely, as soon as we step outside we should be standing at the entry to the court, Shine as soon as we get there you go to the north tower to find Nyx she would be under the custody of some Solar Guard called Sunny Days, just let him know the Celestia allowed you to talk to her, Cely please do prepare a letter so that she can show to the guard, Dust you have everything in place; use your point card to make sure not to bring up the wrong visuals at given times” I said with a
Celestia prepared her letter for Shine and we were on our final steps to teleport to the Caterlot Court House with sure steps we were outside, I lock my door and before I could realize it we were standing before the door to the court room… It never ceases to amaze me how fast and accurate the teleporting magic works, for sire something I will have to learn in a short future.
There where guards everywhere, and a large group of ponies to enter the court room, I didn’t know that the case was going to be public but this is a good thing, now we could show to everyone that Hooves works out of his own teachings. Shine walked away, but as soon as she was out of view I spotted little Nyx close to me, for sure she saw her first, I just hope that she finds something to keep busy till court is over.
Nyx saw me and I could see her eyes water, she ran towards me and jumped to hog me tight, I fell to the ground unsure of the filly’s intentions.
“Oh Shadow, you have no idea how nice is to see a familiar face” Nyx said with tears in her eyes.
“Hey Nyx how have you being” I asked knowing that it has being hard for her.
“Well I am ok I mean for someone whose mother died in such a matter” she said looking up trying had to smile.
“It will be ok kid I am going to try to prove her innocent… I know it isn’t much but at least she won’t be considered a murderer” I said feeling bad for the filly.
She let go of me and I could see Shining Armor walking towards us, he spare a grim look to the filly and walked towards me “Shadow Spark, I know you helped Dust on this investigation, I know your issues in court from the past, and I know how much you know about Equestrian law, and even when I am not a fan of your… friends and such I like to thank you for being the only one taking Twi’s case seriously… do your best” he said with a sharp tone, it was more like a warning that anything else.
Everyone in the waiting room was looking at us, some with concern faces, some with angry looks but I wasn’t showing any signs of worry, everyone knew that Dust was leading the case but they also knew who was the brains behind it all, it wasn’t Celestia, it wasn’t Dust, it was me and more ponies in the room would rather see my burn that give me any sympathy or appreciation for my work.

The door opened and we all waked to take our places; the court room was large and even so every inch was taken by the ponies who were going to witness the greatest display of law knowledge in history, Hooves walked in with his best students as his team and he prepared his desk for the confrontation.
Celestia toke her place next to me and Dust was at the center of the desk with his papers laid in order, Luna walked to her spot as the selected judge of today’s display, the jurors seated themselves on their places and put out all means they had to take notes, this was actually exiting it was almost like a play, and all the actors were in place.
The Gavel hit the table and every one was quiet, the game has just started “fillies and gentle course, we are here to re-open the Scarlet Harvest case that found Twilight Sparkle guilty of high treason, several accounts of murder, insanity, and unfit to commute with the rest of Equestria. Knowing her unchangeable behavior which was shown over and over again during her hearing with displays of aggression a foul language, she was given to what the evidence has shown the highest punishment of our laws, the death penalty, which toke place in a unconventional matter when my sister Celestia princes of the day try to out rule the court an escape with the accused, due to her relationship with the accused she was given time to rest and get back to her senses time in which she decided to conduct her own investigation” Luna began with a loud voice.
“Your majesty… may I, I think that for the importance of the case everything needs to go by the book, and I have important information to share before the case begins” Hooves began before our team could get up to show our first piece of evidence.
“I will allow this” Luna said as Hooves stood from his desk.
“Objection, it was determined that we would have the floor first” I said loudly.
“This information is impertinent to the case just regarding the defense” Hooves went on
“I allow it” Luna repeated
“Before we can start with this case re-opening everyone needs to know that it is baseless… to begin Equestrian law does not recognize foreign law enforcers in our courts, and neither Shadow Spark or Star Dust have valid Equestrian documentation regarding their birth in the land of Equestria… I also like to say that any testimony from Princes Celestia can be processed given her attachment to the accused, her feeling would cancel out any veracity of her speech your majesty… that is all” Hooves moved back to his desk with a victorious look to his face.
“Has the defense anything to say” Luna went on
I stood and moved to the floor, well your majesty even though it is true that we haven’t any papers to show that we were born in Equestria it is also true that Star Dust as well as me have being living within Equestrian borders for more than ten years paying taxes and being an important part of our fine society, which give us both naturalization rights, we also have being summon by the throne to work on government facilities, a right only given to Equestrian citizens and we also have the naturalization documents as proof that we belong to Equestria, documents that are kept here in Canterlot, copies of which are in the documentation branch of this very building, perhaps Hooves wasn’t looking for new citizens even though we have being part of this country for over four years now, as for Celestia she is just here to aid us while showing our work she is just here to watch and help” I said calm and clear which leaved many wide eyed.
“Ok Shadow you are right regarding your documents, please proceed with the case if you may” Luna said with indifference.
“I may not… Dust has the floor now he is the one who worked the investigation” I said giving a nod to my friend who was getting his work and began walking to the floor.
Hooves again seemed a bit upset I think he wanted me to go on with the case yet in file it says that Dust was the lead investigator and I am not going to leave anything to chance.
“Your majesty without more interruptions I like to show evidence that Twilight Sparkle wasn’t part of the theater fire… here I have visual aids that show how the fire could have started” Dust horn glowed and a three dimensional map appeared taking most of the free space in the room. “From our investigation, we found traces of incendiary liquids on wood and not only that but we found rest of a plastic cylinder with organic matter on its walls, now you may ask how does that proves that Twilight wasn’t involved, we did research, Twilight was well known to have incredible knowledge of magic, decent understanding of potions and some comprehension of alchemy, chemistry however being an exact science and all is one of the fields that she never actually mastered, we found in her library research over some compounds but it didn’t escalated from making ink, compounds were out of her reach, one needs to know that even when chemistry and potions are similar one works with magic as buster and the other work with the compatibility of the electrons of each element to mix, she may have being able to create a talent buster out of different compounds, but she would didn’t have any idea how to generate Fluoridric acid which we found also in the walls of the plastic cylinder… to top this up we found large amounts of acid and other machines and tools that where delivered to the theater and other nearby areas including middle school teacher Cheerilee’s house a pony with the knowledge to use such articles, not only that but all the articles were purchased with two different identification numbers both assigned to the same middle school where she worked at. Both numbers were then deemed expired even when there was no record of ever being created, all that leads me to believe that it was in fact Cheerilee who committed the crimes at the theater or is somehow involved… like Twilight had pointed out in her testimony when she was accused of this very same crimes” Dust walked in and out of his own model of the theater as he pointed out the pieces of wood that we found, and the cylinder in the place where it could have being if the theater was still up in place.
Hooves stood up and walked to the floor “Even though it seem like a solid piece of evidence to say that Twilight didn’t know about Chemistry, and for sure she has no idea what to do with tools like what we saw on the receives of those ghost identification numbers that have no beginning but a very conclusive end, it is also true that Twilight Was very good at keeping secrets even from her closest friends, for example, there are people who knew Twilight very well and didn’t know about her brother until his wedding, not only that but she was good a lying to like when she told everyone that Nyx was her family but it toke research from Celestia herself to find out where the filly really came from; Twilight was smart perhaps too smart, this simple ponies with little education in forensics or criminology could very well be deceive by a well prepared plan, especially when the evidence is so… circumstantial, any one could have generated the ID numbers, shipped the items to those addresses and for sure Twilight could create a scenario knowing how similar chemistry and potions are to fake a lack of magic in well generated plan” Hooves said calmly.
“With what reason, Twilight was friends with all of the ponies at the theater, when in contrast Cheerilee had just became the teacher of the hardest class she ever had, it is easier to believe that she snapped over the pressure of not being able to teach that particular group of foals than to say that Twilight randomly went crazy” Dust said a bit upset.
“Well the fashion in which she killed Cheerilee allows me to think that way” Hooves answered.
“Mmm perhaps from a different point of view, thinking of the way that Twilight killed Cheerilee we can say that she was somehow desperate, filled with anger and determination to end Cheerilee’s life, she offered no mercy and the crime was committed with passion, to such point that she almost died, now knowing how such a smart mare could go out of character in such a manner, screaming as loud as possible and without any intention to hide her act what would make you think that she would comfortably seat by while acid eats the flesh of a young foal, not only that but even when her work was so grizzly she did finish her victim of in such a fast manner that there was more terror in contrast to the torturous manner in which whoever was in contact with the acid was dissolved, just think about it a horrible fast death against a slow painful one does not suit the killing spree we find at the crime scene” I said from my seat.
“Mmm perhaps we should think that someone actually did die at the theater out of being dissolved in acid, with only blood residue as evidence” Hooves said mockingly.
“Perhaps we should move on, to the ruins then where the crime scene hasn’t even being cleaned up… I shawl begin with our trip to the ruins where Dust and I worked alone for Celestia’s investigation, I fell in on room about as soon as we arrived, I found bodies perhaps this would shed some light in the way that the actual killer worked…” Dust showed his map of the ruins and the investigation route that we toke when there “here you can see me as a green dot, all the smaller red dots are organic matter, those where actually Everfree beetles, the bigger red dots are cadavers, by visual recognition we could say that the smaller dot was Twist and we can only assume that the bigger one was the Yellow one of Twilight’s friends… I think her name was Flutterfly or something” I said embarrassed given the fact that I had just forgotten the name of one of Twilight’s friends who was also a friend to Luna.
“Yeah sure let’s move on to the next topic once you find a dead end in the original scene in question” Hooves said mockingly.
“Indeed I moved on to the next scene under our investigation merely to gain weight at the matter of interest at the moment, it is true that Twilight could have very well stage the theater scene to make it hard to study but the patter of the killings are completely different from the known Twilight attack, which in fact shows the little experience Twilight would have as a killer in contrast to the complex ways that her friends died by” I said showing the intricate design of the maze that was the ruins.
“Ok seriously Shadow, you can’t really think that an earth pony could take down six ponies of which five where grown mares, with battle experience, and the representation of the elements of harmony, or that a mere school teacher could memorize the complex twists and turns of that structure, sorry but you can’t make me believe that without magic an earth pony would manage to kill a dragon of all creatures… as for motive Twilight could have indeed being crazy, I mean we are talking about a mare who toke in Nightmare Moon as her daughter” Hooves finished turning his gaze at Nyx who was now afraid and again with watered eyes.
“YOU CAN NOT BRING UP THAT FACT INTO THIS CASE!!! Even when I have no feeling one way or the other regarding the Scarlet Harvest you can not say that Nyx is under any circumstances Nightmare Moon and the happening of the Past Sins documentations show Twilight as a mare that went hoof to hoof with the definition of love, having you bring that up I am starting to believe that Twilight have less to do with this case that what you lead me to believe” Luna said standing at her place in the room.
“Your majesty one last piece to close this up with the innocence of Twilight and to move on to the incompetent work of Hooves and his so call investigation team” Said loud for all to hear, and as if I was made out of gold all eyes turn on me leaving Luna’s burst completely forgotten.
“In turns of magic I believe that everything can be measured regarding to amount of magic used for a particular task, for example, how hard is it to move the moon and the sun, if my studies are correct only Celestia and yourself are strong enough to decommission full working Resistance Fort, that even when Twilight was strong enough to banish Nightmare Moon she would need the power of all the elements of harmony to be able to destroy the facility the way that it was, not only that but the great amount of blood that we found at one of the rooms that matched Twilight’s blood from samples of her health records at the Ponyville Hospital, if it would make any sense to even check the date of the blood that given decomp and environmental contamination it shows to be two days before the death of Twilight, all that need to be taken in consideration, especially when in her testimony she said that she was brought back to life by the elements of harmony before she killed Cheerilee, in short: the blood in the ruins that belonged to Twilight was too great for any pony to survive such a blood loss, she was dead, and before she died her friends were all dead, from the other side Twilight determination to live called upon the power of the elements, only with that power she could destroy the fort, only with that power she could find Cheerilee before she actually got into town and only then after using must of her energy bust she managed to kill Cheerilee and gave up completely her magic and was dying at the scene, and she being so smart and all wouldn’t have used every bit of power to kill someone without thinking on making it to the next day, she could have run if Cheerilee was in fact a witness or would have killed here in an easier fashion but the irrefutable truth is that she punished Cheerilee, and it cost her the ultimate price under the judgment of all that she found close friends” I finished gazing around to all that where present giving a little nod to little Nyx in her place assuring that I know how sad she is feeling right now.
“There is no proof” Hooves finally said after a few seconds of silence.
“Here is the proof” I walked to Lunas desk and throw on table the gardening book that I found at the ruins.
“All this stupid confrontation could have being avoided, if Hooves, his sciences and his team would have done their job like he describes on his books, paying attention to details… before Luna there is Cheerilee’s gardening book describing the best way to kill weeds… except that the weeds where her students and all who were getting close to her secret. You all would have seen that Twilight was innocent, and she would be alive now it is wasn’t for Sherlock Hooves who did not do his work as he shows on his own work and I demand that he pays for his crime, sentencing an innocent mare to death for his own incompetence” I said slaming my hooves at Sherlock’s desk.
He just stayed back with wide eyes
“Dear Celestia… everything is here, the key and the description, and is all hoof printed, and there are images of her contractions and work with acid and beetles, how do I know that this belongs to Cheerilee” Luna said looking at me with signs of desperation.
“at the back are tests, from all the dead foals, you can compare hoof writing, and you can see all our research that link the book from its purchase to Cheerilee’s hoof, I am sorry but the more you try the more painful it will be that the truth is that Twilight died an innocent mare” I said walking back at my chair, Hooves talked to his team and Luna let out a tear as she slammed the gavel changing the verdict from guilty to innocent as soon as the jury unanimously made their decision to find Twilight innocent.
A final order was given to ask Hooves team out of our labs and offices, the university’s criminology branch was reduced to three classrooms and given the attachment to Twilight from Luna and Celestia no case was filed against Hooves poor investigation.
He was free, Celestia was happy, the first phase of our work was successfully completed and she didn’t even had to say a single word, Dust was finally calmed about his investigation, and we walked out of the court room as heroes to be accepted in the society.
Nyx asked Luna and Celestia to come home with me, Celestia said that she was going to be at Ponyville for a few more nights, that Nyx could very well stay with us so we are like a little family… seriously take a load of this, Celestia, Shine, Nyx and me all under the same roof which for the mean time will be Twilight’s library I should be writing a book out all this crazy stuff, I mean seriously living with the Princes of the sun, A young alicorn that once was capable to move the sun and moon, not even considering that she also saved the town of Ponyville from Everfree creatures, and a changeling… may Dust will be there to.
The Experiment
It was a beautiful day, Shine is back to the library and Celestia is fixing lunch, Nyx is still in town, looking for new friends, she may be shy but there wasn’t any one her age back in the castle, she is finally feeling the need for someone her age to talk to, and be friends with.
Dust is unpacking, we didn’t know how things were going to be, but none of us wanted to leave the other behind, so to keep it as it was we just built a door at the study room’s wall and moved the study area to the leaving room which was quiet big, the library was no longer a stay in place reading facility, you could just check out the books and read at your own place, the main room was divided in two large ones one for Nyx and the other for Celestia, Shine and I were going to sleep in the living room but we knew we three were going to end up in the same bed, locally this was big enough for all of us.
Kitchen was big, added a few places to make us all feel a little more comfortable, good for us the basement was filled with chemistry and alchemy equipment, Twilight may have being working hard on learning chemistry but she could only managed to make poor quality ink and there was lots of it, regarding alchemy she was pretty good at it and there was a different set of ink bottles made with alchemy, I am guessing she was trying to mimic them with conventional chemistry. All this is good for us; I was getting a personal lab in my new home that I could use to my experiments of how to bring the dead victims back to life.
Celestia was finally being a little more like herself, we haven’t yet spend a single night here but her expression is different from the first time we met at the beginning of our little student teacher trip, she smiles, and when Nyx was unpacking she even helped her, her tone is more kind and her facial expression was her natural one, the one she had when Twilight was alive.
“Hey Shadow… do you want anything special on your carrot soup” she asked with a nice kind tone, all the way from the kitchen “mmm sure what do you have in mind?” I answered from the lab as I was fixing the place for my new experiments “I could add a little bit of Cely’s juice” she said with a cheerful voice “ok what is that?” I asked skeptically “same stuff you were feeding me last morning but from my juicy spot” she said before giggling “ok that is just gross and remember we don’t live alone Cely at this moment I have Shine with me and Dust is fixing his room and we don’t even know when Nyx is going to be back”.
“I knew she was out, and Dust would like it I think… I was just trying to be funny, relax a little we are all still young, besides you will have me here until Hooves is dead and Twi is back… I am taking a break from sex till I need another spanking to, so relax… by the way regardless of sex and all we three are sleeping together from now on” she said with a nice kind voice.
“Sure, I don’t think that there are going to be any problems I don’t really care if you see or you join when I am showing my skill to Shadow, and it is also kind of kinky to just go nuts with someone watching, now out of jokes, where do I put all this samples” Shine said with a tone similar to Celestia’s.
“Just fix the soup however you consider it better… without any weird juices please Cely, take them to that holder in the wall and make sure we have every one… oh yeah regarding sex… I think given the fact that everyone has being so good at it yet everyone have being playing with my feelings since my biology class thing with Cely, I will be the once calling the shots regarding time and intensity of our little adventures, sorry gals but I think that would be even fair given all that I have put myself into for the both of you” I said trotting towards Shine to help her with her task.
No one said anything, I may have being out of line except that I saw a smile in Shine’s face, then I knew she was in, just as I reached Shine, Cely appeared with a glass of orange juice “you know… if you were less of a gentle course I would have said something bad about what you just said, but you have being nothing but kind even with your overpowering trusting, that was exactly what I needed at the time, I have nothing to hold from you… you can take all that you want” she said turning around and lifting her tail.
“Not now Cely… really I was just letting you know how I was going to act not asking for tail, thanks for the juice by the way, I haven’t have orange in a long time” I said to the princes who was begging to walk away “and I was just displaying to be honest I am not in the mood neither… I offer my self to you but give me some time to get used to be here before you take advantage of me”.
“Ok cool… as soon as we get some lunch we need to talk about how to bring Twi and the others back, I will need every one’s help so we need to tell Dust to stick around for a bit after lunch, and we need to do it before Nyx gets back I don’t want her to know about what is going on unless we are sure that we can do it” I said as I was looking over the samples, I am having a hard time finding Scootaloo’s
Lunch was fine, Nyx didn’t come to eat with us, she was back at the apple family farm talking to Big Mack, Granny Smith wasn’t happy with Nyx since the Nightmare Moon thing, but at least now she was able to get to the farm without the old mare giving her a hard time, she was the only memory that they had of their loved ones caring for some pony at least.
Once the meal was done we all moved to the living room, Dust was almost done fixing his room, his was the only room with a private exit, everyone else had to share the front door, that gave him a little more privacy, us in the other hand were fine with the fact of shearing everything, Shine was my family, and apparently I became Celestia’s family… and we three cared for Nyx enough to take care of her as the little nice family that we were going to become.
So once in the living room our little time of rest from what was actually at task was gone and I stood before everyone ready to begin with our next topic “ok fellas we need to talk about the next thing in hoof, there are two possibilities, one would be to start working on bringing the dead back to life, I had a hard time finding Scotaloo’s sample, so is there a problem with that, Shine?” I asked as if directed to the entire group.
“Well there is a little problem, apparently Scotaloo is actually from Cloudsdale, according to the hospital her record Equestria wide are only found at the cloud city, and not only that but it is about three years old, would also be the first time that she started going to the school here in Ponyville records of her name are as blank as ours so I think that she may very well be an orphan or a runaway, yet they do have a record of her with picture, and I did a short test to determine if such a record matches any of the samples that we toke, and there is an eighty percent match with one of the samples from the theater, the one that we found under the stage if the structure would have still be there, I am waiting for the sample to arrive, I had it transferred here, it should be about five hours before it reaches our hooves” Shine said with a determined voice “ok our second thing to do would be going after Hooves, however the smart thing would be leaving that to after we work the experiments to bring the victims back” I said looking at Celestia who was showing her signature thinking face.
“So we do that, Cely tell me what you have in mind to bring them back” I decided before she could say anything “we use the original Spell Nexus ritual to bring Nightmare Moon back, but we use it with the samples of each of the victims to shape each pony, now as a soul we harvest every lingering bit of their personality that may still be out there from the moment they died, plus the added memories from each one of us, if my calculations are right ye should be able to gather enough information from the environment to bring the real one of them back from the other side” Celestia said studying my reaction.
“Mmm, ok problem here… I didn’t know them very well I don’t even remember the yellow one most of the time, so the only way I can see it happening is to bring one by one so that they can use their memories to help us bring the other one, we may need Nyx for this she and you are the only ones who could bring the exact Twilight back… mmm no you will have tendencies to change her personality, we need to bring them back from the very moment they died, meaning they will remember dying and how it happened, so here it is… it’s the moment itself what we need to bring back, and if it is still fresh, we can harvest the energy of the happening, locally all death were very intense and we can get it back with… witchcraft… I need magic, incantations and energy oils, this will be the biggest show of all sorts of magic display, I will need the alicorn amulet and a way that you all have to device to get it off me when I am done” I said with my hooves in some paper, my horn glowing and a pencil drawing all the possible forms I could think of to absorb an event from time.
Nyx was back home, news were that she was going back to school, she had talked to other young ones and was getting to know a little more of different families in Ponyville, our work was out of her reach and she had her hooves full getting back in track with school and finding friends that would risk talking to the former queen of the night, her life will never be normal but at least she is trying she will be busy so we can work without having to explain our work to her.
So it began, Celestia worked a finding spell to get the amulet, Dust started working with me using his knowledge of devising spells, Shine got up and went away, I am not sure what she will be doing but I am sure that it has some sort of importance to our needs.
Papers with drawing began to pile, the task seemed impossible, it was easy enough to get a hint of how to harvest the energy of each happening, but how to direct it to each pony… how could I direct the energy that belonged to each one of them, at least we determined that we didn’t need to use our own memories to bring them back.
Zekura made an appearance after hours of work over the subject, I know what Shine was doing now, she was finding everyone who could be useful to our task, Cely finally came back with the amulet and the plan to get it of me apparently was already designed with many ways to manage the task in case that it becomes some kind of problem.
Luna gave us a temporal permit to continue in the Everfree she was also making herself availed to help us with the project in case we needed her help, I think she was feeling guilty about all that happened.
A day has past, no sleep and very little food, our growing task force was now up to over twenty ponies and different creatures such as zebras and griffons who have being studying the properties of potions, oils and minerals. Our first trial was near, we found a way to direct the energies by using magic to drive them to the specific being that we wanted to bring back by using intricate drawing of circles, shapes and lines which would guide the unicorns when the event takes place, I am the designer so I will be in the center of everything shaping the flesh of the pony we are bringing back. This is going to be in deed the biggest show in equine history.
Documents of every one’s work were written and a new law was made out to be decreed at the very moment that everyone came back, it was a bunch of talk but in the end the important thing is that any information that at any point could leave this event would be considered a high offence with the possibility of the death penalty, if at any other time this even is duplicated or at the attempt of duplication everyone in the involved party would be executed, this even was going to be forgotten by history and all the practices to make it happen would be washed out and never spoken of again, this aberration against the laws of nature will take place this one time and never again.
And as everyone was ready to proceed, the lines carved in a stone bed, the circles and lines generated a beautiful design, and about three weeks or so after the death of several members of the Ponyville community they were about to set foot on existence once more, the question was… who are we going to test all this with?, we have limited samples and we aren’t sure how things will turn out at the end of this experiment. Decision came from logic, Scootaloo was the one that he have less samples of, and her sample was a eighty percent match to what we actually believe is the right Scootaloo, so in case that something goes wrong she would not come back but we would not waste any samples from other that we actually have full information of, besides as much as we try we didn’t find any one missing Scootaloo not even in Cloudsdale when we found loved once to all the other so is she didn’t come back only her two best friends would be upset about it in contrast to any other of the departed.
Scootaloo was going to be the experiment and we are finally ready to begin.
The sun was coming out, everyone was a sleep except for Luna, yet she had already deemed the experiment a failure. The light was now covering the entire circle and it had being like that for hours, I was finally done, it was time to finish, the amulet began to glow and the light became more intense and the in concentrated at the center of my work, it hold for a second or two and then exploded sending me several feet away from the circle, I crashed hard against a tree and began to feel the incoming darkness, I manage to remove the amulet and to take a little view of my work, in the center of the circle laid and orange shape, the darkness was moving in I was drifting, I could not hold myself from unconsciousness everything
Yet I think that before I lost track of reality that orange blur… did it move?
