Ponies, particularly Earth ponies, are shocked when they learn of Celestia's 'convenient' power to turn anyone into an alicorn. Why are ponies even different,if Celestia can just wave her horn and make everyone have powers, make everyone equal? What was even the point of the argument and torment of Equestria's founding if anypony with enough magical ability can just transform everypony into an alicorn?
