First Impressions

: Crash site:

“AAAAGGGGHHH” I shouted in pain. I got up off the ground and got out of the crash site. I looked around; it looks like the land was not touch by war. Flat land every were I look. Off in the desistance there was a nearby forest. The sky and the sun are beautiful. I not big on describing, but the best way to put is, peaceful. Too bad this land scape is going to use for a battlefield in a few minutes. I looked around for one last minute and then….

CRAP!

“What, what is it! SPEAK BOY!”

I lost the fucking battery when we came into the atmosphere.

“YOU FOOL! You better get it back; it is the only thing that can help you if I run out of power. You have enough rage to let me stay with you, but you need produce an endless supply of rage. The battery is just slowing us down, but I know how much you need it.”

The ring is right; I don’t have my own kind of rage to produce. After I went rouge, my rage dropped so much, that I need to steal a Red Lantern Battery to have an endless supply.

In a few minutes the Greenies will come. The fight will take most of our energy, but enough to find the battery. I was just admiring the view. Why the galaxy won’t just leave me alone.

“Maybe if you fought them in space, we wouldn’t be in this mess. And we could have hid from every lantern too.”

Hey I want to do it so we don’t have to fight in space. It’s too quiet, no loud noises.

“For once we can agree on things. WE LIKE LOUD NOISES! Strikes fear and shows power.” I yelled in to the air, because I know my ‘Blade’ side of me and the ring will like that. I was forced to be cooperative with them. It was the only way I can almost control my body, by meeting their bloodlust. The ring still has control of me and ‘Blade’, but sometimes I get carried away with it.

“Yeess…Blade…LIKES…our POWER!!” I shouted then the acid blood started to come out of my mouth. Good, I am ready to fight. My rage started to boiled, and I am in a battle stance waiting for my enemies to come. Close range, we can do more damage and the fight would be quick.

“I can’t wait until we ripped their hearts out of there frail bodies.”

I cringed when my ring said that. I may hate the Lanterns but I hate being a murderer. I kill some Black Lanterns and Lanterns from the Sinestro Corps. They want to use fear to rule the galaxy, but I since I am still a Red Lantern, the galaxy should fear the Red Lanterns. Part of me said that, but it’s true, and also my bloodlust. The Green Lanterns and Blue Lanterns don’t want to rule the galaxy, but they are still the enemies of the Red Lanterns. As for the other Lanterns Spectrum Colors, it depends on how they treat me. Every time encountered a Lantern (that is not Black or Sinestro) I run away from them with fear. Fear of me was losing control when I battle them. I don’t want to lose control of my body to the ring and the Red Lanterns. I don’t care for the war. I want them to leave me alone. No! We only kill Sinestro and Black Lanterns that was our deal. Let’s just-

“NO! We are Red Lanterns we kill! It is our nature it is in our blood. We don’t show mercy to our enemies, we only give death. Out of all the Red Lantern Corps, you are the weakest one. You let your emotions blind you of becoming a true warrior.”

No, I am a warrior, and a true warrior does not kill the innocent. I will not be treated as slave! THIS IS MY BODY AND I WILL CONTROLL IT AND YOU!

“YYESSSS! THERE YOU GO FEED ME WITH YOUR RAGE! I like it when you get mad. The angrier you get, I become stronger. The stronger I get, the harder it gets for you to control me.”

One day I will find a way and you will be the one serving me!

“Don’t make me laugh and let’s take care of this.”

Fine The Green Lanterns surround me with their rings fully charge for an attack.

“Aaarrrgghh!! KILL…..LANTERNS!” I scream into the air with my blood acid flew around me hitting the ground. The ground sizzles as my blood destroy anything it touches. My rage feels…..good, good for my power.

: 10 minutes before:

The girls and Spike walked towards the crash site to investigate it. While walking they saw something that caught their eyes.

“Umm girls what is that?” Pinkie said pointing at a strange red object. It looks like a red ball, with two funnels coming out of the sides, and has a handle. What is strange about it is it is glowing red, but there is no flame in it. “Let’s bring it back to Ponyville!” Pinkie was about to pick it up, but Twilight stopped her.

“Pinkie I don’t know if you should touch that still, don’t know what it is, or what it does,” Twilight moved Pinkie away from the object, “look I just pick it up with my magic.”

Twilight lifted the object with her magic and about to return to Ponyville to study it until…

“AAAAGGGGHHH”

The girls and Spike were shot up with fear from the yell off into a distance.

“W-what w-was that?” Fluttershy said hidden behind Apple Jack.

“Well whatever it is, let’s go find it.” Rainbow said as she prepares her flight.

As soon as Rainbow was about to fly, she was stopped by Apple Jack, “Whoa there Rainbow, lets travel together. We don’t know what is over there.”

“Fine” Rainbow flew down with her friends to find the creature.

“Yeess…Blade…LIKES…our POWER!!!!!”

They knew that they were close to the creature and hide by a nearby bush. What shocked them is a creature that they never seen before. In fact it was a living breathing red and black alien. Alien was a biped and from the looks of it was tall as Celestia. They could not tell if there was any fur on its body. Its mane was short and on fire. The face was tanned and it wore a mask around its white eyes. What made them fear it the most is its mouth? The teeth were sharp like it can pierce throw armor. The coming out of the mouth was blood, but it did not look harmed. But when they looked at the blood when it hit the ground it started to sizzle. Can it this creature shoot down lava at its enemies? Then they look lower at it arms then at its claws. They kept on looking at the alien until; the alien looked at the air and prepare itself for a fight. They look at what the alien was looking.

“Aaarrrgghh!! KILL…..LANTERNS!” The creature yelled.

There in front of them was two creatures wearing the same type of armor, green and black. One of the creatures looked like a griffon, but the other they never seen before. Both of the green creatures hovered in the air looking at the red one. Silence was upon them until the griffon spoke.

“Hey Red Lantern,” He shouted, “Get out of my planet! You are in Green Lantern Space. So get out here before we-”

The Red Lantern growled at them and anger was all over its face. It yelled at them with full rage. The Red Lantern raises his arm at them and shot a red light at the Green Lanterns. As soon as the Green Lanterns evade the light, the Red Lantern flew right towards them. The other Green Lantern was toe to toe, or hoof to hoof, with the Red Lantern.  The Red one struck first and hoof to hoof combat. The Green one was struggling to defend itself, but the unthinkable happen. The Red one took its claw and struck the Green one in the stomach.

“Aaaghh” the green one yelled in pain. The griffon looked in fear at his fallen friend as he crashed bellowed them.

The Red Lantern yelled in victory then looked at the novice lantern. Below the fighting the girls and Spike looked at the entire scene. Since the Cantorlot wedding, they fought against the changlings without fear. But fear consume them, for they never seen so much violence before. Fluttershy was on the ground closing her eyes and started to cry. Apple Jack, Pinkie, and Spike try to cheer up Fluttershy. Twilight and Rarity looked at the Red Lantern then to the fallen Green Lantern with fear and concern in their faces. Rainbow on the other hand was full of anger. Who is this creature that came out of now where and scares her friends?

The Red Lantern flew towards the griffon but stopped.

: Back to Blade:

What? Why did we stop?

“I can feel the battery its close”

Well what do we do now?

“Find the battery first then we can finish this later.”

Ok then, well, where is it? As soon as I said that my body looked at a bush.

“There”

Alright then let’s get!

I flew down to the ground, but I was stopped by the novice Lantern.

“Hey! What are you doing come and fight me!” he yelled.

“No.....need…..battery.” I growled.

The novice Lantern eyes shrank, “W-what? Did you just talk? No Red Lantern I encountered talks.”

“Different” is all I said and walk past the rookie. I did not even looked at him all I care is the battery. When I got close to the bush it started to move. I went back to battle stance, then it attack. It was blue and fast plus it has a rainbow trail at the end? What the hell?

“Hmm, does not even look tuff. Kill that pathetic thing.”

As soon as it got close, I held my arm out and grab it by the throat. It was struggle to get itself free, but I grip harder to get a better look.

Wow

“I know”

In front of me is a pegasus, not just any pegasus a rainbow mane pegasus. Too bad I am going to kill it, it standing in front me and the battery.

“L-let go of me!” she cried trying to break free.

It talks, but more importantly it’s a she.

“Not surprise, throw it.”

I threw her away from me and walk towards the bush. As soon as a get there, there were six scared creatures. There was another pegasus, two regular horses, and two unicorns. What unicorns, is this place full of mythology? Then I look at the last creature and it looks like a large purple lizard. I looked away from them and looked at my battery covered in a purple aurora. The purple horse’s horn was also having the same aurora. I bent down to it. It looked away from me because she was afraid of me. I know that look anywhere. The same look that I get everywhere around the galaxy, fear.

Then I spoke to it, “Battery.”

But something hit me, something sharp and painful in my back. I fell to the ground and look behind me. It was the novice Lantern.

“That young inexperience fool. He used a cheap move to take us out.”

Maybe we should have taken him out too.

“P-please battery,” I pleaded in pain.

“T-this,” she spoke in fear.

“Yes,” I spoke. The pain is unbearable. I am becoming weaker by the second. If she does not give me the battery I will surely die.

“No”

“WHAT!”

She took a step back. “I said no.”

“Please, I die.” To late I am about to pass out. That novice took out must of my energy. I need to stay awake long enough to get the battery.

“Sorry you need rest. We will deal with them when you are ready.”

Fine, I need to rest. Then the blackness took over.
