Hearts of Corruption

Jack and I stopped at a waterfall that was in the middle of a forest. "Prepare for your defeat." Jack said, getting in a fighting position. "You're the one that's going to be defeated..." I say, getting in a fighting stance. "Raaahhh!!!" Jack cried out, running towards me. I ran at him as well. We punched each other at the same time, knocking us both away. "Tch. Not bad." Jack said, summoning an ax. I said nothing and summoned my sword. Jack ran at me again but this time with more speed. I can barely see him! "Take this!" Jack leaped up and striked down his ax at me. However, I blocked his attack. I felt the force of his ax on my sword. " Geh...." I said as I started to lose balance due to the force. "Heh. You think that was it?" Jack said, kicking me in the stomach, pushing me back. "Gah!" I cried out, coughing blood. Jack ran at me again, trying to strike me with his ax, but I kept on dodging. "Heh... So that's it?" Jack asked as his eyes started forming a symbol. "What's wrong with his eyes?" I thought to myself. Jack attacked me once again, but this time hitting me with his attack. "What?! How'd he hit me?!" I thought, enduring the pain. "Hah!" Jack chuckled as he kept striking me over and over with his ax, hitting each attack on me. "Like this... I'll be finished..." I thought to my self. "Too easy." Jack said jumping over me and charged a blast. I was too slow to see when he was charging his blast. "Die!" Jack said releasing the energy blast at me. "Crap! I can't block it in time!" I thought. The energy blast hit my back and I fell to the floor. "Really? That's it?" Jack asked and sighed "I thought you said you were going to defeat me.". The darkness inside me started to take over but this time, I could communicate with it.

Inside Leon's conciousness:

"Hey." I heard a voice say. "Who's there?" I asked. A dark version appeared. "I'm your darkness, but you can just call me: DL." DL answered. "What do you want?" I asked. "Well we're about to die. If you die, then I die as well." DL answered "So this time and just this once... I shall aid you in this battle." . "Alright..." I answered "Nice to know you're actually on my side this time." . "Yeah yeah... Let's just do this." DL said.

A tremendous power started to shake the ground. "Hm? What's going on?!" Jack said. The darkness started forming a dark purple aura around me. I could feel the darkness surround my body. "I thought I killed you!" Jack said. "You thought wrong... I will defeat you...for my friends and for the world!" I shouted, running towards Jack at blinding speed...
