A New Resident

He was standing upon the flourish green fields of the Everfree forest, he closed his eyes and inhaled through his nose to smell the wilderness and he was not disappointed by the fresh smell he was greeted with.

"It's time." A voice said behind him, he turned around and looked at the pony, the figure simply moved closer to him and whispered: "You have your orders, and target. Do not disappoint us." Before he could answer though, the figure disappeared in a sudden burst of flames, soon enough everything was on fire, he was screaming in pain.

A figure came racing towards him and calmed the fire. A pair of green eyes looked worried upon him before taking him away.

"So, you have never seen him before?

"No, but I wasn' going to leave him like that, would you Twi?"

"No no of course not, sorry I didn't mean it like that. I am just saying that after the Wedding we have to be careful of who we take in."

Who was talking? He could hear two voices, one familiar.

He tried to open his eyes but they quickly closed again feeling tired.

He didn't know for how long he slept, but soon enough he finally woke up and stretched out his forelegs with a long yawn as he saw on the couch looking around. There was no one here. He soon enough got out of bed, and used a levitation spell to put the blankets neatly together, before moving on. He didn't move long before he heard a somepony behind him and a young voice calling. "Hey Mister! Did you sleep well? Are you ok?" he turned around to see a small filly: A yellow coat with red mane with a cute bow in her hair.

He smiled at the young filly before answering. "Yes, I am feeling fine thank you. Would you mind telling me, where am I? Who brought me here? And...what is your name?"

The young filly smiled as she seemed very eager to help. "My name is Applebloom! You are at Sweet apple achres, the prized source of apples for Ponyville, a town not far from here, really down the road. And it was my sister Applejack who came here with you on her back Mister. And what is your name?"

He smiled and thought about it for a moment, maybe it was safe to tell. "I am Zorian, it's very nice to meet you Applebloom, do you know where I can find your sister?"

"She is out in our applefields bucking, as soon as she woke up she knew that she had to return to work, even though she wanted to stay and make sure you were safe." Zorian felt a sudden heat burn a bit in his stomach, she wanted to stay and check on him. A pony she had never met.

He smiled widely at the little pony and nodded. "Thanks Applebloom, I will find her myself." The filly nodded before running outside and down the road, she met a couple of other small fillies there, one of them were on a small wagon while the other one was on a scooter. One an dark orange one with a purple mane and driving the scooter while the other was snowwhite with a pretty little mix of colors in her mane sat in the wagon. Applebloom said something to the two other fillies that made them look over at him, he waved back and smiled before they waved as well.

They soon enough though yelled something and clapped their hoofs together before they drove off at the direction of, what he could guess was, Ponyville.

After seeing them disappear he trots down over the farm's grounds, admiring the huge building a long with the barn, he could see it was a great place, with quite a success. The great fields of apple trees were plenty, the animals they had seemed happy and right at home. Such a great place.

Soon enough he got into the apple fields when he saw her. Applejack was standing next to several trees and barrels beneath them all. She walked around and took her hindlegs back a bit before thrusting them forward, and struck the trees with such an force that the apples fell down and all landed in the barrels. Such an incredible strength.

He walked closer and called out . "Uh, hello! Miss Applejack." He said with a smile as he came closer to her, when she looked up at him, she gave a smile. After brushing the sweat off her forehead she also got a bit of an confused look on. "How do you know mah name?" "Your little sister Applebloom told me. She seems like a nice filly." He said with a nod before Applejack smiled again and took an empty barrel over to a nearby tree.

"I just wanted to thank you very much for saving my life out in the forest." "I was only happy to help partner, what is your name?" "It's Zorian and is there anything I can do in return for you saving my life?" He thought he had either asked it in a weird way or something like that, cause the sudden look the orange mare was giving him was a bit skeptical. "Ya'll are not about to pledge your entire life to help me are ya?" He looked at her confused. "What? Why would I do that?" She got a relieved look on her face as she bucked the tree and saw the apples fall down nicely. "Uhh...no reason."

Zorian then spend the next few hours helping out Applejack bucking the trees, though she was done with six by the time he had only bucked half of a trees apples down. She showed him ways to move his legs right and strike with the right amount of pressure and strength, and soon enough he was bucking more apples, he was still way behind, but at least he had made progress.

All the time they were working he kept looking at her strong body at work, he was nowhere the same strength as her but, there was something about her that made his stomach warm.

After a couple of trees were bucked down he looked at the farm and saw a big muscular colt walk towards the barn with a big barrel with a huge tower of apples on his back. "Hey Applejack, who is that?" He asks and nods towards the red colt. "Thata be my big brother Big Macintosh, we just call him Big Mac." "Like the food?" "What food?" "Never mind." They both laughed a bit before Zorian walked closer to her. "So Applejack. I just wondered, would it be alright with you if you could give me a tour around the town? It's my first time and I don't wanna get lost or anything.

The orange mare looked at him smiling before nodding. "Sure thing sugercube. Come on, Ah'll show ya the way." As she walked past him and towards the road he blushed a bit from her calling him Sugercube. "'Ey! Ya going to stare at apples all day?!" He heard from behind him, apparently she was waaay ahead of him. "hey wait! I'm coming!" He yelled as he ran up towards her, and soon they were both down the road and towards Ponyville.
