Gummy, unaware of the danger, struggled from her hold. The current quickly carried his small body towards the whisks. Pinkie watched, teary-eyed, as the whisks cut, then smashed her pet. She screamed with grief as the whisks got closer and closer to herself.

The scream had been heard by Mr. Cake, who rushed to the balcony quickly. He reached as far as he could, barely on the balcony still, and grabbed her hoof. He pulled with all his mite as Pinkie's right side started to touch the blades on the whisks. She screamed again, and Mr. Cake pulled one more time, making her fly out of the batter and land on the balcony. Her entire right hooves and the right side of her face had been damaged beyond repair. Pinkie looked up, seeing Mr. Cake's horrified face, before blacking out.
