Nopony showed up...

This was a special room, not many ponies knew about it. The Cakes couldn't keep up with demand and decided they couldn't make every single cake by themselves. So, to solve their problem, they built an addition to their house. They filled the room up with all sorts of machines to help them bake their cakes, one of which was a large mixer. This was used for pre-making batter so the Cakes could have it later.

Pinkie bounced to the mixer, and climbed up a tall ladder. The ladder lead her to a balcony over the batter. She leaned over cautiously, noting that the mixer was still running. She scanned the batter for any lumps, to see if it was ready or not.

"Is that a bump?" she asked herself leaning over the edge and squinting. She had been too distracted by what might be a bump to realize Gummy was on the edge of the balcony, looking at the batter. He fell off the balcony, letting out a small shriek-like noise.

"Gummy!" Pinkie cried, her attention shifting to the small gator swimming in the batter. She jumped in after her beloved pet and quickly grabbed him. She struggled to get back to the balcony, but it was useless. The batter was too thick to walk through and the mixer made a strong current, pulling her towards the whisks. She cried out, wearing herself out quickly.
