Friendship is Nexus

The Elements of Harmony slowly got into position. Everything was going according to plan. All of the Elements had grim looks upon their faces. All except for the Element of magic who had what could be called a sadistic grin. While Celestia gave the rest of her speech unassuming the Elements readied themselves. When Celestia finished she turned towards the Elements with a smile. It quickly vanished a she saw the look upon her elements faces.

"Is there something the matter my little ponies?" Celestia asked.

They didn't answer but instead moved in closer. They began to circle Celestia and Luna like a pack of timberwolves.

"What is this?" asked Luna.

Without warning Twilight fires a large disabling beam from her horn at the sisters. This disables them for just long enough to dispatch the royal guards. They rushed to protect the princesses and were blinded by a searing light emitted from Twilight's horn. While they were trying to rub their eyes and regain vision Applejack and Rainbow Dash took them out with bucks to the face knocking them unconscious

While they dealt with the guards Rarity and Fluttershy got hold of the esteemed Mayor of Ponyville. Rarity was holding the Mayor in her magic while Mayor Mare begged for Mercy.

"Fluttershy dear, we simply do not have time to waste you have to do this now!" commanded Rarity.

"O-okay Rarity" Fluttershy managed to mutter. "Im sorry Mayor."

After her apology Fluttershy bucks the Mayor in the face as hard as she possibly can. The mayor goes down like a ton of bricks. She was knocked out cold.

"I wish I shared Fluttershy's sentiments Madame Mayor" said Rarity looking down in disgust.

Meanwhile Pinkie Pie was working crowd control. Bucking anyone trying to save their beloved Princesses. So far she was doing an admirable job as nopony had managed to break through.

When all the guards and the Mayor had been dealt with it was on to their main objective. Once again the Elements circled the princesses. Celestia began to stir and rise to her hooves. Twilight stepped forward and promptly laid another beam into Celestia. This weakened her further but still she began to rise. Twilight nods to Applejack and she steps in front of Celestia and looks her in the eyes. Applejack then turns and bucks Celestia right in her face with a sickening sound of hoof meeting skull. This shot lays Celestia out flat on her back.

Twilight then turns her gaze to Rainbow Dash and nods again. Rainbow returns the nod nervously and steps forward. Twilight then looks up and fires a beam and blows a large hole in the ceiling. Rainbow then takes flight through the hole. She flies a few hundred feet in the air and hovers momentarily. She then takes a dive to the Earth aiming directly at Celestia. She makes contact with Celestia's sternum causing catastrophic damage. Celestia was alive but completely incapacitated.

They then turn their attention to princess Luna. Applejack steps forward to give Luna the same treatment she gave her sister. But Twilight stops her and instead motions for Fluttershy to take care of Luna. Fluttershy gives a timid nod and steps forward. Luna and Fluttershy lock eyes for a few moments. Luna's eyes seem to plead with Fluttershy. But she just says a silent apology and lays into Luna with a buck in the head. She then tries to mimic Rainbow Dash's actions by taking off in the air and coming down on top of her. She manages to do so but with a lot less force. It sent an effective message regardless. Fluttershy seems astonished by her own actions. She is almost to the point of tears.                                                                                                            Twilight smiled at her handiwork. They had done what they had set out to. They had just taken out the two most powerful beings in Equestria by themselves. Weeks of planning had culminated in the best possible outcome. For over a year the Elements of Harmony had been at Princess Celestia's beck and call. No longer. The Elements are out for themselves now. And if anypony didn't know who they were already then when the news of them attacking the princesses reaches them they will become very well educated in who they are. The Elements took up a new name Nexus. And the message would soon be spread all across Equestria. You're either Nexus or against us.
