Chapters 1 and 2 improved immensely by whatmustido.

The five worst criminals in the history of Earth are put up for public execution. Set in a dystopian future where people can get special abilities based on their talents, these criminals use said abilities to escape through a portal to another world.
The Alchemist - Half Magic/Half Science, he is responsible for over twelve thousand deaths and the destruction of France. Dislikes seeing the results of his actions.
The Woman with a Powerful Mind - She was eight years old when a teacher attempted to molest her, setting off her special ability... And wiping out all life in a fifty mile radius. Swears up and down she doesn't deserve to die.
The Changing Man - A man who takes the likeness of an old legend to stalk his victims before killing them in various gruesome ways.
The Man who could Control Them - While he has never been at the scenes of the crimes, everyone who WAS claims to have seen him in their minds, anyone who survives to report him commit suicide shortly after
The Forgettable One - Nobody can remember what or who it is except for the five, but the trail of thefts left behind it seem to point to it being the cause.

When the five end up in a world none of them recognize, yet all of them feel...
How long can they resist the world's effects before it changes them for the better...
Or, in their eyes, the worse?

Rated Mature for gore and being generally messed up. It's a dark comedy though.
