Chapters "Is everything here? " Twilight asked
" Yes! Quills, dresses, jackets, animals, the Widow, Cap. Equestria's suit... Everything is here! " Spike checked the list for the billionth time.
" Hey, why do we need the last ones ? "
" I know, that the Elements of Harmony are allmighty and things, but against street pickpockets they would be useless. " Twilight replied.
" Good thing our pets are coming with us! Fluttershy still hadn't opened that fancy pet hotel of her! " Rarity looked at Fluttershy
" I am gathering ponies. " Fluttershy replied.
" So everything is ready! " Twilight entered the train
" Wait! Who's gonna' look after us, sis ? " Applebloom asked
" Applebloom! " Sweetie Belle and Scotaloo wanted to look after themselves
" Oh, no! I forgot! " Rarity was horrified.
" Applejack! Is Granny Smith free? " Twilight asked
" Makin' rainbow jam for the rest of the week. Very busy. " the mare answered.
" Pinkie! Ms. and Mrs. Cake ? " now the purple alicorn turned to the pink earth pony
" They are making cake for a very importrant wedding in Manehattan. " Pinkie frowned.
" Hmm... there is nopony left but... Hase. " Twilight told them.
" Really ? " evrypony jumped in the air.
" Yupee! He is the second most cool pony I know after Rainbow Dash! " yelled Scotaloo
" You really? " Applejack and Rarity asked Twilight in one voice.
" Well, he proved he is good the last three months. He even stopped the earthquake! " the purple mare tried to defend herself.
"Oh, ah'm not worryin' 'bout 'im! Ah'm worryin' 'bout them! They could squeeze a pony like a lemon! They even made Fluttershy turn ta da Shyulk last time she looked after 'em! " Applejack told her.
" Hey, he is an understanding pony! He knows all that, but he'll agree! " Twilight convinced her doubting friends.
" I refuse. " said Hase
" Oh, come on, Hase! We depend on you! The others are busy! " Twilight bet him.
" No. " he shut the door of the Caroussel Botique, where he was temporarily staying.
" Oh, Hase, come on, they are really sweet! " Rarity entered but was shocked by the inside of the botique. Blueprints were flying everywhere. In the center of the room, a big flashing gadget stod in the middle of the room. Hase stood around it with safety glasses and was using a torch. When the gadget started shining without flashing, he smiled and removed the glasses. And then he saw Rarity's face:
" Ah! I was going to clean that! It is the Arc Reactor, that will power the mansion over the lake, that I built and furnished a month ago! " Hase was really scared from Rarity's face. Infact he was happy, that she wasn't wearing the Widow.
" The same, that is in your chest when you are Pony Stark ? " Twilight wasn't horrified from the horrible face, because Rarity stood with back to her.
" No. That one. In my chest when I am Pony Stark, is the better version of the Arc Reactor. That is a normal arc reactor. It's minuses from those in the chest of my Stark form are, that it is weaker and it poisons. But if it isn't in your chest, it's not a problem. " he was able to reply, because the horrible face dissapeared.
" What have you done to my boutique? " Rarity yelled.
" Well... "
" THAT'S IT! I BREAK UP WITH YOU! GET OUT! " Rarity yelled again
" Celestia! Does she always react like this ? " Hase asked, while he was pushing the Arc Reactor up the hill to his mansion.
" Not always. But the boutique is the most importrant for her. " Twilight replied. She joined Hase in his evening walk.
" So it's the end ? "
" For her- yes. She changes her coltfriends almost every week. "
" The "darling" was getting annoying anyway. "
" I guess we'll have to travel tomorrow. And will you... "
" Yes. I couldn't look after them in the Boutique. But since the Reactor is ready, I guess I can look after them. "
" Thanks. "
" You are welcome. Now I would use a little help. " Hase told Twilight.
They used their magic and pushed the Reactor in it's place. The lights in the whole building lit .
" The Arc Reactor is on, sir. " Djarvis said
" That's good, Djarvis. Twilight... take them here around 8 o'clock."
"OK. Good night."
" Good night. "
Twilight went down the hill and Hase entered his new mansion.
' Celestia, I am so excited! ' Scotaloo thought.
Applejack, Twilight Sparkle and Rainbow Dash were taking the Cutie Mark Crusaders to the new house of Hase, since Rarity didn't want to talk with him. She told them to tell him, that they "remain friends. "
Hase could hardly sleep. When he slept, he only dreamed the same dream: an unclear image, coloured in red, spinning and laughing and yelling : " Did you forget us? ". So this day he was already awake.
" Sir, Twilight Sparkle and two of her friends are at the door. " Djarvis told him.
" Good morning! " Rainbow greated
" Are ya OK ? " Applejack saw, that he didn't look too good.
" Was having some nightmares. Didn't sleep much. You could tell Luna about that. " he replied.
" You're going to need some good sleep in order to deal with these girls, so we will! " Dash pushed the Cutie Mark Crusaders forward.
Applebloom and Sweetie Belle were unsure, but Scotaloo flew like a rocket past Hase, totally waking him up.
' Sweet Celestia! ' he thought
" Oh, Celestia! You're him! Can you fly? Can you shoot? Can you jump 20 feet? Can you fix everything? Can you speak French? " Scotaloo asked.
" They don't teach French in jail! " Hase replied to the only question he heard.
" Ya were in jail? " Applebloom was confused
" What have you told them about me? " Hase asked the adult mares.
" Ah, bye! " Twilight and the others ran down the hill.
' That's even worse than jail. ' the stalion thought
" Yes, what was your name ? "
" Applebloom. "
" And yours ? "
" Sweetie Belle. "
" And yours, Ms. Curiosity? "
"Scotaloo! Nice to meet you, sir! " Scotaloo put her hoof on her forehead.
" Ok, enter the house, girls. "
" Welcome back, sir. " Djarvis spoke
" What's that ? " Applebloom was scared
" Oh, that's Djarvis. He takes care of the house. "
" Is he a robot ? " Scotaloo asked
" No. A computer. " Hase replied annoyed.
" Hey, Dummy! "
The robot turned it's robotical hand to the pony
" Make them a breakfast while I finish with my stuff. "
' Interesting how will he make it. ' Hase thought and went downstairs.
" Sir, I hope you realise, that Dummy will make the kitchen a mess. " Djarvis spoke as Hase entered the door.
" I do. Djarvis, are all the suits already adjusted to me and with a built- in triangular Arc Reactor ? "
" Yes, sir. I currently finished the repair job on the Mark XLI. "
"Good. Because I plan to release my Stark form. "
Smoke and light spun around Hase. The sillouethe of Pony Stark separated from Hase and dissolved in the air.
" I am Stark by personality. But no longer by form. "
" I've always wondered why don't you use the Tesseract in the armours. "
" Because, Djarvis, it emmits a different kind of energy. "
" That wasn't me, sir. "
Hase turned around to see, that Scotaloo held a strange device in her mouth.
" Scan that, Djarvis. " he took it from her mouth with his magic.
" A voice changer. Not made from us, sir. It appears, that the young filly had made it. "
" Good! How did you make that ? " Hase asked Scotaloo
" Well, it wasn't so hard. " the young pegasus replied.
" Hase, Dummy's makin' a mess! " Applebloom walked downstairs. " Hey, what's that? " she looked at one of the suits.
" You don't know what's that? That's the Mark VII Iron Stalion battle armour! " Scotaloo said her.
" Dummy! " Hase flew upstairs. Scotaloo and Applebloom followed him.
The robotic arm turned to Hase again.
" I swear I'll dissassemble you and make a wine holder out of you. "
The arm made a sad noice.
" Go down and don't do anything! "
The silly robot went down while Hase and the Cutie Mark Crusaders cleaned the kitchen.
" I am sorry, that my sister dumped you, Hase. She doesn't know what she wants. "
" Ah, nevermind. I had made a mistake. " Hase replied to Sweetie Belle
" I hope your heart isn't broken. "
"It isn't. She wasn't my greatest love, after all. And I think I've got another marefriend" he sighed
" Who ? " Applebloom asked
" Not your buisness, young pony ! " he hit Applebloom in the face with the towel he was using to clean
" Ha- ha ! " Scotaloo laughed, but received a towel in the face from Sweetie Belle
The clean- up turned to a towel fight, which was finally won by Scotaloo.
" Our cutie marks ? " the three fillies turned around, but no cutie marks stood on their flanks.
" Oooh... " they frowned
" Hey Hase, how did you get your cutie mark ? " Scotaloo asked.
" You mean my original one, not the one, given me by the Elements, right? "
" Yes. " Applebloom replied instead
" By inventing Dummy. That's why I haven't still turned him to pieces- he is my first invention. "
" You mean, that if we assemble a silly robot we will get our Cutie Marks ? " Sweetie Belle asked
" I wouldn't hold on that. "
" Oooh... " the three fillies sighed again
" Than maybe... storm chasing! " Scotaloo supposed
" Fritter eatin' " was Applebloom's idea
" Illusionismism! " Sweetie's came third
" There is no such word as "illusionismism" , it's illusionism. " Applebloom told her
" There is! It is the greater form of illusionism! "
" Nope! "
" Yes! "
" Nope! "
" Yes! "
' Sweet Celestia! ' Hase was getting nervous. Finally, he couldn't hold it. He shot an ice beam with his horn and freezed Applebloom
" Yes! " Sweetie Belle expected a " Nope! " but instead received a "MMmmm! "
" Huh? " Scotaloo was confused
Applebloom was de- freezed with a flame. The three fillies finally were quiet and Hase thought, it was the perfect moment to take their time with something, hopefully, quiet.
" Sorry, Hase. We even turned Fluttershy to Shyulk last time. We ain't angry at ya. " Applebloom appologized
The perfect idea came in Hase's mind:
" Hey, do you want to see my suits? "
Scotaloo immeadietly flew downstairs, followed by the more unsure Applebloom and Sweetie Belle.
" Here we go! " Hase moved aside and revealed 7 Iron Stalion battle armours, one of which was out of his window.
" WOW! " Sweetie was amazed.
" More than thirty for sure. "
" Which do you use the most? " was Applebloom's question
" I currently use Mark VII, the one that's out of the showcase. "
Hase stepped to the suit, whose back part was open, went in it and it closed behind him.
"Djarvis, please set up some targets, so I can demonstrate the Mark VII to the girls."
"Affirmative. Targets marked on your HUD, sir. "
" Take this! " Hase shot a repulsor ray at the virtual glass, projected by Djarvis, which immeadietly broke and made a sound, like if a real glass broke.
" Does the suit have any other weapons than this ? " Sweetie asked
" Well, it has a Unibeam, rockets, lasors and all other kinds of cool stuff, that cannot be tested inside. Now out. "
" That was interesting! " Scotaloo told the other Cutie Mark Crusaders
" Yeah! " the both agreed
" Now, to the beds! " Hase told them
" Oh, come on! " they bet.
" Just kidding. "
" Yay! "
" Aaah... "Scotaloo yawned. " Wake up. Time for school. "
The three fillies woke up, brushed their teeth and went to the kitchen. It was obvious, that they were hiding something. Hase noticed that, spun, turned to Loky and got a huge mashine out of nowhere:
" Be careful what you say, young fillies, it is a lie detector! "
" Celestia! " Sweetie was intimidated
" Just buzzin' " Loky shot the thing with his scepter. It dissapeared and he turned back to Hase.
" Hase? " Sweetie asked
" Yes? "
" Ya'll have to come to school today. " Applebloom told him.
" Oh, no, Dummy will care your backpacks, it's the one of the few things he's good at. "
" No, there is a " Parent Job day" at school, all of our parents are busy and our sisters are in Canterlot. " Sweetie replied to him
" I didn't know, that Scotaloo had a sister. "
" I don't, but Cherilee told us, that we must definitely bring somepony. " Scotaloo said him
" But... I've got work to do! " the stalion defended himself
" Ohh... " the Cutie Mark Crusaders made a very sad face.
" Fine. " Hase gave up
" Yay! " the three fillies jumped in the air
" And remember- 10 o'clock! " Sweetie told him as they entered the school
" Yes, yes, now enter! " Hase replied
" Bye, Hase! "
" Bye! "
The three fillies entered the school and the landicorn walked back to his house.
" Djarvis, prepare the Mark VII. We are going to give them a little show. " the stalion spoke as he entered the house
" ... and that was my dad, the banker! " Diamond Tiara finished speaking
Everypony clapped with hooves
" That was great, Diamond Tiara! " Cherillee told her
" Now I should go, sugarcube! " the obviously busy dad of Diamond Tiara went out of the room
" Next are... Scotaloo, Applebloom and Sweetie Belle! " Cherilee announced
" What is it this time? Another old mare's tale from Granny Smith? A manual how to buck apples from Applejack? A horiible fashion show from Rarity? " Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon laughed at the Cutie Mark Crusaders .
Before they could defend theirselves, a blast of energy broke the window and something, that was coloured in gold yellow, silver and red fell through it. When it got up, the three fillies could recognize Hase's Iron Stalion suit, but complete panic was in the heads in everypony else. Everypony ducked for cover. Ony Snips and Snails were running in circle and yelled
" A robot! Save yourselves! "
"Hey! " Hase spoke.
Snips and Snails looked at each other for a second and then again ran in circle, this time yelling:
" A cyborg! Save yourselves! "
" It ain't no cyborg, it's Hase. Our foalsitter! " Applebloom told them
" Huh? " Snips and Snails looked at Applebloom, slammed in each other and fell on the ground.
" Your foalsitter? " Cherillee got up from behind the desk.
" Yes! Hase, nice to meet you! I'll fix the window, I swear! " Hase stretched his hoof to Cherilee, but she was still afraid.
" Oh. Djarvis? "
The helmet lifted and revealed Hase's face.
" Cherilee. " the teachmare got his hoof and shaked it.
The students also got out from under their desks.
" Aren't you that inventor, that came to live here soon? " Cherilee asked him
" The same. " the stalion replied
" Oh, Celestia! " Cherilee and all the students fell to the ground " Why didn't you say, that you are a prince? "
" He ain't no prince, he just got both wings and horn! " Applebloom told her
" She's right. " Hase supported her.
The confused ponies got up.
" But how do you have both wings and a horn and you aren't a prince? " Snips asked him
" DNA manipulation and other complicate things you wouldn't understand. " the landicorn replied
" Can you do other things but blow stuff up? " Snails asked him.
" Yes, but I need to get outside. "
The class followed the inventor. The Cutie Mark Crusaders were happy. And Diamond Tiara was angry, because she couldn't make a laugh out of them.
" And now... Djarvis? "
The helmet of the suit came down and the Iron Stalion came to action. He saw, that Diamond Tiara was going to pour a cup of lemonade on Scotaloo's head. He immeadietly shot a repulsor ray out of his front hoof and broke the cup. The whole lemonade instead poured on Diamond Tiara herself
" Demonstration number 1. " he spoke
Everypony laughed at the wet fancy earth pony.
" Ha- ha! " a bunch of seniors nearly hit Cherilee while riding on their scateboards. But Hase fired a strong unibeam from his chest through the wheels of the three scateboards and the bullies instead fell in front of Cherilee.
" You got yourself a detention! " the angry Cherilee sent the seniors inside.
" Demonstration number 2. " Hase noted
" Can you do anything else? " Snips asked him
" You haven't seen the half of it. Djarvis, I won't need the suit anymore."
The suit's back part dissasembled the same way it assembled in Hase's mansion and Hase got out of it.
" For the next trick I will need a bunch of old newspapers and a cup of water. " he told them
The young colts brought him the newspapers and the cup.
" Fire. " he spoke and sent a fireball with his hooves at the old newspapers, who immeadieetly turned to ashes.
" Celestia! Cherilee was amazed
" Not yet. Water! " he made the water rise from the cup and washed Diamond Tiara with it.
" So the wasps don't sting you! "he joked after the class finished laughing
" Ice!" he made the remaining water freeze
" Earth! " a rock got underneath his feet and lifted him 3 feet over the ground
" Light and darkness... " he sent a ball of dark mist and a ball of blinding light in the sky, where they exploded like fireworks
" ... and Wind! " he sent a tornado at the nearby apple tree. It returned and he got the only thing, that it ripped off the tree with his magic- an apple. "
Everypony but the angry Diamond Tiara clapped with their front hooves
Hase smiled, spun and turned to Loky. A second after that a big jack-out-of-the box appeared next to him.
" Go away! " he yelled at it
" Nope. " the toy replied with the voice of Big Mack
" Go away! "
" I prefer, that I don't leave the place, where I am. " this time it copied Rarity's voice
" Argh! " Loku shot a blue bolt with his scepter and the box dissapeared. In the moment Loky turned to Hase, he was struck by lightning.
" Hase! " Scotaloo was worried
" Nothing to worry about, young filly. " Thorse replied to her. As he lifted his Mjolnir at the sky, clouds started gathering. A lightning struck the hammer and from it it bounced at Diamond Tiara.
" And finally the drying service! " Thorse told the ponies, who laughed immeadietly.
" Oh, yeah! " Hase said as he turned back to normal. " Who bullies who now, Tiara? "
" Ah, Hase, Ah ain't think, ya should brag so much. " Applebloom told him
" Nonsence! To brag means to tell, yhat you are, what you aren't."
" But you ain't almighty as ya said!"
" Really? "
The Cutie Mark Crusaders looked at each other. It appeared, that the huge power, that Hase held, had made him a complete bragger. Even Tiara, who ran away in tears, didn't deserve that. They had this thought in their heads for the whole day.
' What are they worrying about so much? ' Hase wondered while he flew back home in the Mark VII.
The school finally ended but the Cutie Mark Crusaders still felt guilty about Diamond Tiara, who spent the breaks in the toilet, crying.
They slowly walked to Hase's mansion. But, strange, on the doors they were stopped by a pony with sunglasses and an official suit, who asked them for their passes.
" Ah, what? " Scotaloo didn't catch that
" Happpy, leave the kids alone! " a young yellow mare with a red- brownish mane went out.
Nothing else could riddle the three fillies as the two ponies. They stared at them.
" Ah, Hase? " the mare shouted.
Hase quickly came to the door and when he saw the confused faces of the Cutie Mark Crusaders, he remembered, that he forgot to introduce them.
" Ah, Scotaloo, Sweetie, Applebloom, meet my bodyguard Happy Hooves and my personal assiastant, Pepper Pot."
" Oh! Nice to meet you! " the three fillies replied.
The dinner was short and soon it was time to go to bed. But Scotaloo, who still, unlike the other two Cutie Mark Crusaders, felt guilty about Diamond Tiara, couldn't sleep. She decided, that if she go to Hase, she could tell him how wrong he was.
She got out her room and went to Hase's. But when she entered the room, there was nopony.
' Strange. ' she thought. ' Nevermind. '
She decided to leave this for tommorow and take a juice or something from the thing, that Hase called " a fridge" and somehow kept all the things inside cold.
She opened it's door and took out a cup of juice. Perhaps this night would've been much more calm, if Scotaloo didn't hear a noice from the basement. A normal pony would of scared, but Scotaloo instead went down the stairs and hid behind a column. Hase was awake and was there. He was implanting some kind of miniature gadgets under his skin.
" Last implant active. Test for the Mark XLII Cutting Edge Suit is ready. " Djarvis spoke.
" OK, let's start. " Hase spoke
Scotaloo coudln't enter the room, because it was behind a glass screen and the door in the screen opened only with a password, which only Hase, Pepper and Happy knew. She could of broken the glass, but Djarvis would of sounded the alarm. That's why Scotaloo remained behind the column next to the stairs and silencely watched.
Next to Scotaloo, on the other side of the glass wall, a pile of parts stood. At first she thought, that this was a pile of spare parts, but when they began to move, she realised, that it was a suit. One part flew to Hase and he caught it with his front left hoof. It unwrapped and formed the glove of the suit. Soon the other parts also flew to Hase with such speed, that he had to leave them first crash into the wall behind him and then catch them. The mask flew in circles around him, several times hitting the walls, untill it finally attached to his face. This suit looked a lot differently from the other 7. Unlike in the others, the gold yellow, not the red, was the main colour in this suit. When Hase made his tech check, his little fan realised, that the so- called Mark XLII also had more room for missiles, lasor charges and all other kind of stuff. The Unbeam also was much stronger than the one of the Mark VII.
" Impressive, sir. " spoke Scotaloo with her voice- changing gadget, which she, Celestia knows why, had brought with her
" Don't act like if you didn't see the one of the Heartbreaker, Djarvis. " Hase answered with a bragging voice.
" Sir, I am completely well aware of the propulsion possibilities of the Mark XVII Artillery Level RT Suit. I am afraid we have a spy. " Djarvis replied.
Hase quickly spun and shot a repulsor in the glass in front of Scotaloo.
" You'll have to pay for that later. " Hase said as he saw, that the intruder was Scotaloo
" Why did you shoot the window? "Scotaloo was confused.
" Celestia, foal! Do you know how many enemies of Equestria wopuls sell their mothers to have one of this suits? " the landicorn told her
" Well, sorry. Impressive job, after all. But why don't you sleep? And why do you name your suit Mark XLII, after you have only 8 suits after all? " the young filly burried Hase under a pile of questions
" Djarvis, could you reply this ? " Hase asked his computer
" Affirmative. Young mare, your information seems to be inaccurate. The Mark XLII Cutting Edge Armour is named this way, because it's the 42nd Iron Stalion Battle Armour. "
" I'll tell you why I don't sleep later. But now, do you want to see the other 34 suits?"
" Yes! " Scotaloo was exited
" Djarvis! The floor. " the stalion told his assistant
The middle of the floor, which had circular shape, opened and reveled stairs. The walls of the hole were completely covered in show cases, behind which the other suits stood.
" Wow! " the young pegasus spoke, as she followed the stalion.
" I'll say something about the most importrant. Here we see the Mark XLI Skeleton Suit, aka Bones. "
This suit looked really strange. It had the figure of the suits Scotaloo knew, which were these from Mark I to Mark VII., but it wasn't silver, golden or red, but black an it's exterior resembled a skeleton.
" The main idea of this suit was to be extremely agile. The bones were my idea! " the landicorn continued to speak.
" Ah, Hase, why do you need so many suits? " Scootaloo asked
" Each one is ment for a different situation. For an example, when I need to be super agile and manouverable, I'll use this suit, because it was ment for that. Do you understand? "
" Yes. "
" OK, I'll go on.The Mark XL Hyper Velocity Suit aka Shotgun. As you can understand from the name, it's ment for a very big speed. You can even make a Sonic rainboom for just ten seconds with this baby. "
This one was entirely with the original metalic colour and was lacking the fissure for the mouth, which the others had.
" The Mark XXXIX Sub Orbital Suit aka Gemini is ment to travel on the edge of the atmosphere, almost in space. "
This suit was white. It was sealed a lot better than the other suits, because on the edge of space, Hase needed all the oxygen he could get.
" You can travel in space?! " Scotaloo was amazed
" Nope. Only on it's edge. And this is one of my favourites! The Mark XXXVIII Heavy Lifting Suit aka Igor or Shyulkbuster! "
At first the filly was amazed from the suit itself. It was blue, way bigger than the other suits and it's head was lower than it's neck. "
" It can lift anything and it can bust anything! "
" But why Shyulkbuster? " the pegasus couldn't get it.
" Remember last time when you made Fluttershy mad and she escaped in the Everfree forest, smashing everything on her way? "
"Well, yeah. " she felt uncomfortable
" This baby stopped her. And this baby, " Hase went to the next suit ", travels underwater. The Mark XXXVII Deep Lake and Sea suit aka Hammerhead."
This suit resembled Gemini ,but it looked cooler, and unlike it was armed and ready to fight.
" Because you won't see many monsters in outer space, but when you're underwater, just like when I fix the Arc Reactor powering my house, sometimes things get rough. " Hase explained to Scotaloo, when she asked him why does he need weapons when underwater.
" And if you're in trouble, you could depend on this guy. The Mark XXXV Disaster Rescue Suit aka Red Snapper! "
This one was really bizzare. It's forehead was a lot bigger than normal, his hands were very big and had pincers on it's ends.
" We'll skip one, so... the Silver Centurion! Also one of my favourites... "
" You mean the Mark XXXIII Enhanced Energy Suit, right sir? "Djarvis spoke
" Right! " the landicorn replied with an annoyed voice " It's propulsion levels are as high as they can be! "
This one lacked the gold. It had strange looking shoulderplates and unlike the most suits, which had round or rectangular windows for the reactors inside, this one had a triangular one, with it's peak pointing down.
" The construction suit. Mark XXV aka Striker. I am sure you, like all the other ponies wondered, how I built this mansion for only two weeks. Well, this baby is the reason! " the stalion spoke. He described each suit like if they were his foals.
Instead red, this suit had dark- blue and gold. The front hooves ended with huge drills.
" But... I don't understand! You should of kept it somewhere. And the owner of the house would of said this to somepony and the whole Ponyville would of known! "
" Listen, I trust you, and I hope, you won't tell anypony about this, OK? If there is a huge disaster- and I've been through huge disasters- the suits from Mark I to Mark VII might get destroyed. But here, in this hole, I keep all the other suits and a copy of the suits Mark I- VII. This way the enemy would think he's destroyed all of my suits and actually, he would of destroyed none. The mare, in which house I kept the suit, agreed. I hope you would agree too. "
"I agree, but who's that mare? " Scotaloo asked
" I'll give you a hint. She has a multicoloured mane and can walk on clouds. "
The young pegasus was almost going to shout " Rainbow Dash ?!?! ", but Hase made a silence field magic on time and nopony woke up.
" Yes, she! Now don't wake everypony in this house! " the landicorn told to her.
" Rainbow Dash? Does she have one of these suits? "
" You should ask her! This is the Mark XXII aka Hot Rod. It is one of my earlier trials and isn't very good. "
This one looked just like Mark II, but had a machinegun on one of it's shoulders and the window for the reactor was rectangular, not circular.
" We missed the Mark XXVII Chameleon Suit aka Disco, which is the ultimate copycat and can blend in any enviroment and the Mark XXVIII Radiation Suit aka Jack, which is ment to work in radiation zones. Obviously. "
The first one looked like the Mark III, but was multicoloured. When Hase told Djarvis to turn on the cammouflage, Scotaloo could swear, that a suit stood there before a second, but not to see it.
" Aah, what's radiation? " she asked Hase before they moved on.
" Oh. You don't know? "
The young pegasus confirmed.
" Well, it's a kind of energy, that is exremely harmful for ponies and other living things. There are three types of it: alpha, beta and gamma. The first is easily stopped by somepony's skin. The second is stopped by a half- inch metal plate and the gamma ones are only stopped by a 3 inch thick lead plate. Thanks to the Iron Stalion tech, now it's thickness is reduced to a less than a billionth from an inch and this suit is still fast, altough lead is the heaviest none- radioactive element. And by the way, the Tesseract emmits a very low level of gamma radiotion, which is harmless. "
"And where is the Tesseract? "
"I am afraid, that you don't have access to this area. " Djarvis replied instead of hase
" Secret! " Hase smiled. " And now the... "
" Mark XVII Artillery Level RT Suit aka Heartbreaker! " the young filly recognized the suit with the optimal Unibeam and Repulsor Ray power by it's design. The window for the reactor was bigger than the others. It was also very prostustive,because the reactor inside was with the power of two. The whole design led the eye of the pony to the reactor.
" You will replace the Widow one day! " Hase told the young filly, as he realised, that she was spying on him for a lot longer, than he thought.
" And these are the last one I will talk about. The Mark XVI and XVII Black Stealth Suit and Stealth Suit, aka Nightclub and Sneaky. Ment to be stealth, of course. But while Sneaky focuses more on the weapons, Nightclub focuses more on stealthyness. "
The both suits resembled each other, but the Nightclub was black and didn't have so much space for rockets, as Sneaky hat.
Finally, Hase and Scotaloo exited the pit and it closed behind them.
" OK, but why won't you sleep? " the filly asked her foalsitter
" I just can't. And when I do, I have nightmares. Of something, that I think I will remmeber, but I can't. "
" That's bad. But you shouldn't treat Diamond Tiara this way. "
" Yeah. Tell her, that I am sorry. I made a mistake. Even the thing in my dream said, that it is dissapointed from me and I was a way better pony once. I just can't figure out from where does it know about it! You know what, I'll come to your school tommorow and I'll personally apologise. I'll even give her a party gun, so she could continue making her little pranks on you. Hope this will cheer her up. And now, " Hase put the parts of the now dissassembled Mark XLII in a case " , we'll go up and won't tell anypony about it. Right? "
" Right. "
The both ponies went to the kitchen just on time to see the sun rise.
The same day, in which Scotaloo knew the secret of Hase was the worst day in her Diamond Tiara's life. Alone. Humiliated. Left even by Silverspoon, who now just laughed at her all the time. For the first time in her whole life Diamond Tiara felt sad. And all of this because of that nasty, horrible foalsitter of the loosers!
That were the young filly's thoughts, when she ran away from the school and the laugh of the other ponies chasing her. She didn't stop running untill she reached the edge of the Everfree forest.
" Why, for Celestia's sake, why? I want to, I just want to ... " Diamond Tiara yelled at the sky as grief and a wish for vengeance poisoned her hearth.
" They'll pay for that! "
" I am sure, they will. But the path of vengeance you have chosen is a lonely one, young filly. " a mare's voice answered from the wood
The scared Tiara turned around. At first she thought, that it was Zecora, because the stranger weared a hood. But when it came down by magic, it revealed the face of an unknown mare.
" Aah, who are you? " asked Diamond Tiara
" I am known by many names: the Great and Powerful, the Incredible and Wonderful... "
" Trixie? " Diamond Tiara was confused
" Yes. " Trixie answered
" But... didn't you leave this town after you used the Alicorn Amulet to enslave the ponies of Ponyville? "
" No. But I know how you feel. I've got a new life. I live with Zecora, who teaches me to banish the evil away from my heart. "
" Do you know what happened? " the filly asked with an ashamed voice
" Not just that I know, I also saw. Zecora told me to keep an eye on Hase since he came. At first we doubted, that he will become good again, after all these years as a criminal and now armed with unlimited power- who could of stopped him? When he kidnapped Twilight and her friends in the parallel dimension, we were almost sure. But when he returned, we understood, that he never kept evil in his soul. That thing he did to you isn't because of him, it's because of you. "
" Of me? " Diamond Tiara was confused
" Yes. How many times did you humiliate the Cutie Mark Crusaders, who never did anything to you? How many times did you made the others laugh at them as they currently laugh at you? "
" Well... you're right. He isn't guilty, the schoolponies are guilty! "
" And here you have some point. Perhaps you should give them a lesson they'll never forget. "
" Huh? "
" Here, " Trixie levitated a bag to Diamond Tiara " , you'll need this on your path to vengeance. "
" What's it? " the earth pony opened the bag " Oh no! " the scared filly stepped back. Because in the bag there was a beaker with a strange liquid and a familliar looking necklace.
" The first one is a left behind beaker of Hase's alicorn formula. I think you know what the second is. " Trixie replied to her " With the formula you will be able to fly and do magic. The second will teach you magic and make your magic strong like the one of the alicorn. "
" I thought, that the princesses took the Alicorn Amulet away from here! " Tiara was intimidated
" It was a replica. Now you have a choice - to avenge the ponies in your school or to pretend you never saw me and leave immeadietly. But remember- if you choose the first, there will be no turning back. " Trixie warned her
" An easy choice. " Diamond Tiara opened and drank the beaker.
" Than tonight you stay with me. I'll need to observe you and study the effects of both the formula and the Amulet on you. Because sometimes, they have some side effects. "
" Like?!? " the filly got worried
" Like getting evil, like the Amulet did to me, and lose yourself, or growing a third wing with the Formula. Anyway, follow me. "
" OK. " the filly followed the Great and Powerful in the wood. It was already getting dark.
' A good sunrise for the kind of night, that passed. ' Hase thought. Now two other ponies but him, Pepper and Happy knew the secret. Luckily, Scotaloo still didn't knew the second. Now he remembered the conversation:
Several Months earlier...
" You are not our only problem, Hase! We've got much bigger problems than you! " Celestia spoke to him
" I don't care! I won't bring back Stark Industries to selling weapons! You've got the Strategic Homeland Intervention and Espionage Logistics Division or whatever it was called! They should handle it! " Hase yelled
" Just call us S.H.I.E.L.D. " Agent Coulson spoke from nearby.
' Ponies in Canterlot have strange names. ' Hase thought
" Director Fury demands, that he speaks personally with you. " Mare Hill, the co- director of S.H.I.E.L.D said.
" Oh. Than we leave. " Celestia replied.
Hase felt strange. He wondered what kind of pony Director Fury was, so that even the princesses left the room, when he demanded. Only Coulson and Hill left in the room.
" Do you think you were the only villain in the world ? " the pony, that just entered, asked
" Aah, who were you again? " Hase actually knew who he was, but he wanted to keep the conversation as far as it can be from bringing Stark Industries back to selling weapons. "
" Nick Fury, director of S.H.I.E.L.D. . And you're Hase Stark, who is currently refusing to continue his father's business and is treathening Equestria! " the hopes of the landicorn were completely broken from the words of the brown earth pony stalion
" I don't think so! It's not like if we depend only on the Elements of Harmony anymore! We've got me, which equals an Iron Legion, a pinpoint accurate bowman- spypony, a norse god of thunder, a norse god of deceipt and the Elements of Chaos, a patriot earth pony with super- strength and a shield, from which everything bounces of, a pegasus with a breath- taking anger problems and another spypony, specialized at martial arts. What could possibly outgun this? We must also not ignore the fact, that you build your own weapons. I already bring Stark Industries back to action, but the closest thing to weapon you'll get from it is an anti- missile sistem. ''
The brown stalion almost laughed.
" You're one hay of a bragger. OK. But if something goes wrong and your pony gang doesn't handle it, we'll have to re- enigotiate. Right? "
" Right. " Hase replied
" And remember... I've got my eye on you! " the stalion looked at him with his only eye, because the other one was under a black eyepatch and left the room together with Coulson and Hill.
' I wonder if he is even currently keeping his eye on me. ' Hase got back to the present days.
" It was amazing! " Scotaloo went down "You should show me them again some day! "
" Hey, foal, quiet! It is a super secret weapon container, not the local zoo! " he told her
Scotaloo frowned, but only untill the other two Cutie Mark Crusaders came down. When they left, Hase went down to regulate the speed of the flying parts of the Mark XLII. When he finished, Djarvis spoke:
" Sir, you might consider that interesting. "
An image from one of the cameras, that Hase had put all over Ponyville, appeared on a nearby screen. On it anypony could clearly see the picture of Diamond Tiara wearing the Alicorn Amulet and now with both wings and a horn, followed by Trixie.
" Aah... Suggested Reasons? " Hase asked Djarvis as he went through the exit and looked at the school in his Hawk form. The camera didn't lie.
" You never completely scanned the Everfree forest for the missing Alicorn Formulas. The presence of Trixie explains the Amulet. "
" That's the one thing Fury needs to make me sell weapons. Let's suit up! "
" Should I prepare the Mark VII, XVII or maybe XXXIII? "
"You know Djarvis, I think it's the perfect time to test the Mark XLII. "
" Sir, it is only a prototype... "
" Djarvis, just switch on the suit. " Hase interrupted him
" Yes, sir. "
As Hase stretched his hooves one by one the parts flew and attached to him, untill the Mark XLII was completely assembled.
" All systems online. Ready to go, sir. "
" Allright. Let's bust the bully. "
" Sure you ready? " Trixie asked
" Yes. " Diamond Tiara answered
" And remember- don't let anger lead you. "
" Yeah, yeah. "
" Oh, who is this? Diamond Tiara, the wet chicken! " one of the bullies, who usually bullied Derpy, came to Tiara
" Who's a chicken! " The hood fell of Tiara and she shot a beam of magic at the bully, who suddenly found, that bellow his neck he was a chicken. He ran around in panic as she laughed.
" Come here! " his two friends grabbed their scateboards in their mouths and ran at her.
" Let's complete the farm! " she replied as she shot two magic bolts at them, making the front two hooves of the first dissapear and the hind two to become a fish tail and the second pony's fat body to fall because of his new deer hooves
" Who laughs now! " she taunted
" A good start. It even made me laugh. " Trixie commented
" Now the others! " the alicorn filly spoke and entered her classroom
" 20 Minutes, young filly! You've got yourself a ... " Cherilee couldn't finish, because she found herself in a net over a bunch of very hungry and bad- looking dogs with very sharp teeth.
" Oh, Celestia! " she yelled "Help! "
" No detentions today, students! Cheer up, why are you so saad? " Tiara said with a voice, that resembled a histle of a viper
She looked Snips and Snails directly in their eyes and the two colts hid behind their desk.
" Don't hide from me! " she enchanted them and Snails turned into a snail and Snips turned into a turtle. They tried to talk, but no sound got out of their mouths.
" And Silver Spoon... Even the silver catches rust! " Diamond Tiara turned the her friend into a rusty old spoon.
" And the others... you'll obay me! " as she said that red sparkles shone in her eyes. Trixie saw that and immeadietly recognized what was happening
" That's enough! Silver Spoon deserved it but the others didn't! Turn them back to normal and free your teacher! "she told her
" Oh! Are you afraaaid of me, Great and Powerful Trixie? Or are you so great? Let's see! " the alicorn shot a much more powerful bolt than the others she shot before, causing Trixie not only to break through the door but also through the outer wall and to fall directly in front of the Cutie Mark Crusaders, who were also late.
" Trixie? " they asked confused
" Call... Hase. " was all she could say before she passed out from the hit.
" Fillies! " Diamond Tiara saw them through the whole and broke both the door and the outer wall. " I've been waiting for you! "
" Diamond Tiara? " the fillies were even more confused
" With these new powers, I prefer... Sparkling Horror! " she touched Applebloom with her horn and turned her to crystal
"Applebloom! " the both fillies yelled and charged at the alicorn.
" Mu- ha- ha- ha! " the Sparkling Horror laughed with an evil laugh and a cage fell out of nowhere and trapped them.
" I have an idea! " she said and went back to the classroom, were evrypony had hidden under the desks. Only Cherilee was still trapped in the net.
" Party's over, critters! "she yelled at the dogs and turned them to puppies, made out of glass
" I always wondered what is it like to be an adult? I guess we'll find out, Cherilee! " Tiara touched her teacher with the horn. Cherilee shrunk and shrunk, while Tiara grew and grew, untill she was the adult mare and her teachmare was just a filly
" You'll pay for that! " Scotaloo yelled form outside
" You shouldn't talk like this to an adult! " the grown up alicorn made Scotaloo's mouth dissapear.
" Why do you do this? " Sweetie almost cried
" Because I can, youngster! " she shot another magic at Sweetie Belle.
" Look, you've got your cutie mark! "
" Really? " Sweetie turned. Her cutie mark resembled a kind of clown. When she turned around to see it, he shot lemon juice in her eyes and dissapeared
" Ha- ha -ha! " the Sparkling Horror laughed, as the pony fell on the ground and yelled.
" You know, there are some things grown- ups are better at and one of it is kicking asses . And I am a lot older than you are- maybe about 993 to 973 years. " a voice spoke
" Who's that ? " the mare turned to see the Iron Stalion. " Aah, it's you! I've been expecting you! "
" Really? "
" Yes. How can my carrier of a supervillain begin better than beating up the local hero? "
" Try me. "
" Hase, I hope you aren't doing anything crazy. " Pepper spoke to Hase on the radio- connection
" Define crazy. " he replied
" Too easy. " the Sparkling Horror shot a magic bolt, but it just flickered and went out as it touched the suit
" Magic blockers, foal. " Hase replied and shot a repulsor at the filly
" Argh! " she grabbed a nearby rock and threw it at him. He suceeded to avoid it
" Sir, it would be much easier, if I send the Mark XLI... " Djarvis told Hase
" I don't need Bones, Djarvis. I am nimble enough this way. " he replied
Sparkling Horror threw a few more rocks and trees at hase, but the was able to avoid them. She also suceeded to dodge his missile bombardments and unibeams, but she was getting tired. She needed help and she needed it quick. Than she remembered, that Scotaloo was the pony, that is best in science in the class. After she made a shield for 5 minutes, she returned to the cage. Tiara brought her mouth back and enchanted her, so she would only speak the truth.
" Now tell me, Scotaloo, how to turn this suit off? "
Scotaloo tried to keep her mouth shut as long as she could, but the spell won:
" An EMP. "
" And what's an EMP? "
" Electro- Magnetic Pulse. You can perform an EMP spell and it will shut down every machine in a range of 2 kilometers for one hour. "
" Thanks. " she replied and returned to the battlefield, while Scotaloo blamed herself
" It was the spell. Not you. " Sweetie told her and tried to calm her down
" What, you tired? " Hase asked her, when the Sparkling Horror returned
" We'll see who is! " she replied. Her horn glowed and send a powerful pulse in all directions. In the suit it became dark and it fell to the ground. It's front part opened and Hase jumped out of it.
" Djarvis, what just happened? " he asked.
" An EMP, sir. The only reason I am not shut down is, that you've plated my central processor with vibranium, as also this headset you are wearing. "
" Does this mean, that all of my suits won't work? "
" Affirmative, sir. "
" Bad. Can you reboot the systems? "
" Negative, sir. The power of the Amulet will hold the power of the spell for an hour. "
" Very bad. Atleast I've got my forms. We'll still win. "
" I don't think so! " the Sparkling Horror jumped out from behind the bush and shot a spell at Hase.
" Djarvis! I feel dizzy. What happened? "
" My sencors say, that with a strong psychic spell Diamond Tiara has blocked your access to your alternate forms and to the controll of the Elements of Chaos. "
" That's impossible! My magic is too strong for this! Unless... "
" The Amulet is made out of Chaos. With it anything is possible! " Tiara taunted at him.
" That explains it. Remind me to destroy it later, Djarvis. "
" I may lack your optimism, sir, but without your magic, machines and forms how would you win that battle? "
" The simple way. "
" Which is? " Tiara looked at him.
" With some hidden tricks! " Hase got a grenade out of his tail and threw it at Tiara.
"Arrrgh! " Tiara yelled
" Good thing I always bring some flashbangs. " Hase spoke to himself " But how to defeat her? An hour without my powers is enough for her to knock me out. "
" Affirmative, sir. My sencors say, that she's gaining even more power from the Amulet
' Darn it. And now what? ' Hase thought
" Jericho Missiles? " he asked Djarvis
"Negative, sir. Altough the factory wasn't in the range of the EMP, you're in range of the falling missiles and will be harmed. Besides, you'll reveal the location of Stark Industries, treat hundreds of ponies, working there and producing weapons for the defence of the factory. The defence sistems you sell won't help you with Tiara, sir. Besides you'll also reveal to the world, that you're manifacturing weapons , if I am right, sir? "
" Right. If only there was no S.H.I.E.L.D. ... " Hase continued to think, as he flew deeper and deeper in the forest.
Suddenly, an idea got into Hase's mind.
" Djarvis, the Tesseract can't lose power, right? "
" Yes, sir. It is a power source by itself. What are you planning to do? You have no access to your scepter in this form. "
" Remember what happened, when we tried to use it for portals the first time? "
" When we didn't add iridium, sir? "
" Yes. "
" The portal collapsed on itself after a minute and the energy created a powerful explosion", sir. "
" Which range was...? "
" 1 mile, sir. "
" Stark Industries is how many miles far away? "
" 2, sir. "
" And Ponyville... "
" 1 and a halph, sir. "
" Perfect! "
Exactly when Hase said that Tiara landed on the same lawn as he did. Luckily, Hase had hidden himself in a bush.
" Sir, I hope you aren't going to blow up this place. "
" I am. Prepare to turn on the portal system of the Tesseract. If I am not wrong, it is the only thing in my house, that hasn't turned off, because it runs itself. "
" Yes, sir. Positioning reflection satelites will take 5 minutes. "
" Good. "
" Sir, I hope you have chosen another way for the portal then your home, because it threatens Ms. Pot. "
" Of cource, Djarvis. Remember that group from Sidny- ES\DS- I invested in? "
" Yes, sir. "
" They were having a concert in Marebourn today, right? "
" Yes, sir. "
" Put the radiation mark there. I don't want to miss their concert. And Tiara has no business in Marebourn. "
" Affirmative. But I suggest keeping her away from the portal. She can wreck havoc trough Marebourn. "
" OK. Let's go. "
" Sir, I thought you were joking. How will you deal with the explosion yourself? "
" Djarvis, sometimes you learn to run before you learn to walk. I will handle it. "
" Affirmative. Marking satellite in position. Marking. "
In Marebourn the song of the unicorn band ES\DS was in it's end. The ponies were literally screaming.
" That's a public. " Brian Coltson, the singer, thought to himself. He never thought, that a newbie like him would ever replace Bon Colt. Meanwhile Engus Young, the guitarist was driving the ponies crazy with his solo. The drums, Hike Young, his brother was also giving his best.
" YEEEEELLL BEEEEELLS! " Brian ended the group's most famous piece " Yell Bells" Nopony didn't even notice the little blue beam, that left a very tiny blue spot over the heads of the ponies.
" Mark in place, sir. One minute left for the reflectors. "
" Don't hide from me! " Tiara yelled and turned the bush next to the one, in which Hase was hiding, to ashes.
" Gotta go! " Hase jumped out of the bush and revealed him in front of the Sparkling Horror.
" Ah, here you are. Let's continue, shall we? " Tiara charged at Hase, who barely avoided it.
Meanwhile in Marebourn the piece " Back with a " Hack! " " began. This was the first song the group made after Bon passed out. It was named like that because everypony thought, that the group would fall apart after that, but as Big Mac says, nope. Instead, they found Brian, the singer of the group they once played with, and asked him to join ES\DS. He gladly accepted and the group made it's way back to the top with a " Hack! " as Engus said.
" Reflector satellittes in position, sir. " Djarvis told the landicorn
" DO IT! " Hase was barely getting out of all the magic bolts Tiara shot at him. He already hat a few burns and had no more flashbangs.
" Do you sence that, Happy? " Pepper felt a strange pulse in the mansion
" Aye. " he answered
The both got out the house to see how a strong blue ray got out of the chimney.
" I always wondered why did he want a chimney after we got only a heating system and not an oven. " Pepper told Happy
" Why would he use the Tesseract? " asked Happy, who together with Pepper were the only ponies, that were understating what was the blue column doing in the end of the hill near the lake of Ponyville.
Way high in space, the beam reflected in two satelites and fell down again.
" Haaaa! " Diamond Tiara sent the final hit to Hase, who was lying down with a lot more burns than before. But before it reached him, a huge blue beam fell between them, a portal opened and sucked the Horror's magic.
" Yees! " Hase jumped
" Cause we're baaaack! With a haaack! " now not only the ponies, who bought their tickets, but also two fighting ponies could hear the chorus of the hit.
" A perfect soundtrack for your defeat, Tiara. " Hase spoke
" But not as great for yours, Hase, so let's finish this before the end of the track! " Diamond Tiara doubled her efforts and Hase had no choice but to hide behind the portal. Luckily, the portal stood in such position, that it was opened to the sky and not only Tiara's magic hurt nopony, but also nopony saw the portal, because all of them looked at the group.
" Baaaack! Baaack! Oh, back with a "hack! ". Baack with a haaaaack! "
" Not doing a great job. " Hase spoke to Tiara, while they were both running around the portal.
" Oh, really? " Tiara flew twice faster than before and Hase wasn't flying fast enough, which resulted in a few more burns.
" Got loose... from the news! " the song continued, but the time of the portal ran out and it closed with a loud noice. Luckily, a strong chord of Engus' guitar covered it.
Meanwhile, on the other side of the portal, the energy from the portal gathered into a ball. Hase had nowhere to hide so he jumped in the nearby bushes.
" Doon't hide! " Tiara burned the bushes and Hase had no choice but to run in circles.
" Sir, the energy levels will get critical after 20 seconds. " Djarvis told him
" Alright, then. One last trick " Hase saw, that Tiara was very close to the ball of energy and threw a web grenade, the one Fury gave him as a gift . And now it saved his life. While Tiara was trying to get her off her face, Hase flew as far as he could from the ball. It suddenly shrunk and then exploded, sending a wave of blue light in all directions. The Amulet fell of Diamond Tiara, both turning her back to an earth pony and making her small again. She was knocked out, but Hase was too.
" ... ... ""
' Ah? ' Hase thought
" S..., S... "
Hase finally got to full conciousness and saw, that the enemy was awake too. She had put her amulet again. Her horn glowed, but strangely, nothing happened.
" Ah, Djarvis, what is she trying to do? " he asked
" Welcome back, sir. It appears she is trying to make a psychic spell and bring you down with extreme headaches. "
" Flat. And why isn't she suceeding? "
" The explosion had several unexpected positive effects. "
" Which are? "
"First, it broke the mental barriers and you now have access to your full powers. Second, the energy from the Tesseract somehow took the form of the same barriers and is currently are blocking any external access to your mind. My sencors read, that the effect isn't permanent. "
" Good. Let's bust her. Are my suits ready? "
"Negative,sir. Systems still rebooting. Will take a few hours. "
" Ah, nevermind. I will bust her this way. " Hase replied and sent two balls- one of light and one of darkness- at Diamond Tiara. They blew up and she flew backwards.
" And now you reaally bucked me up, foal. Face the real me. " Hase sent a mini- tornado at her. She avoided it. After several rocks, ice beams, water spheres and other tricks Hase decided, that he needed to slow her down. He jumped backwards and flew in the dark.
After she stopped running around, Tiara suddenly noticed, that Hase was missing. In the moment she stopped an arrow stuck in her left back flank and some kind of electrical current paralized her back left leg.
" Stun arrows. Classic! " Hawk's voice spoke from the dark
Tiara immeadietly sent a fireball at the tree, from where the voice was coming, but nothing happened. Now, since they were away from the spot, where the explosion brought down the trees, the trees were on his side. And on the lawn she was a sitting duck and soon another arrow flew to her. This time it fell in the air, but it's peak fired hundreds of little arrows, who stuck in Diamond Tiara.
" Arrrgh! " the tips of the arrows contained a hemmoraging poison and she bled really strong. Anypony would be afraid of the little filly, covered in blood and sending fireballs at the forest. Anypony but Hase.
" That's not good. My new automaticaly reloading quiver doesn't help me if the enemy can regenerate. And I see, she can. " Hawk noted, as he saw her wounds closing and the needles falling to the ground.
" I suggest targeting the Amulet, sir. " Djarvis adviced
" You're right. " Hawk jumped out of the dark. But before the filly could send her fireballs at him, a lightning struck him and turned him to Thorse, the god of thunder.
The forces were equal. Any fireball was blocked from Thorse, but the filly also suceeded to get up after the multiple hits of Mjolnir. So finally he hit the earth and the created shockwave made Tiara fall 30 feet away. She got up and was instantly hit in the face from the flying Mjolnir. Finally, she got tired. Thorse called back his hammer and lifted it at the sky. Storm clouds gathered.
' Well, this was the end. Good bye. ' Tiara thought and closed her eyes. The lightning struck.
1...2...3 seconds. She wasn't dead and opened her eyes. The lightning was targeting the Amulet, not her. It got very hot and fell from her neck. Finally, the eye of the alicorn on the amulet turned to million pieces and the created shockwave knocked out both Thorse and Tiara.
" D..... T....?
' Huh? ' Tiara opened her eyes and saw, that the Cutie Mark Crusaders where over her head. When they saw, that she was awake, they smiled and yelled "Hooray! "
When she looked around, she realised, that their faces were the only happy ones. The Princesses, who Celestia knows why, had arrived, were looking at her like if they were going to execute her. Applejack in her Captain Equestria suit had a very hostile look. Pinkie looked like Tiara had stolen her birthday cake, the Shyulk looked with very angry eyes, untill he turned back to Fluttershy, whose eyes still resembled the Stare, Twilight's look resembled the princesses' but was somehow not so sinister as theirs, Rarity looked like she was going to perform a flying kick at her and Rainbow Dash was almost so angry as Fluttershy. In the end of the column stood Hase, who was tired. Three unknown ponies, one of witch weared an official suit, the second, which was the only mare of the newcomers, weared a strange looking suit with a gun in it's front pocket and the third one weared a big black coat and had only one eye. The other was under an eyepatch. They all weared a badge with an eagle on it and looked at Tiara, like if she was a bomb they had to disengage. Trixie and Cherilee were also there, with a huge dissapointment in their eyes.
" Just what were you thinking? " Trixie broke the silence " Wearing this Amulet means fighting with it, not letting it use your body! "
" If Hase didn't stop you on time, I think, we would of lost you, Diamond Tiara. " Twilight agreed
" Ya turned mah Applebloom tah crystal? Ya didn't even deserve that! " the earth pony in the blue suit yelled at her
" Wasn't funny. " Pinkie told her
" Nor kind. " Fluttershy continued
" Nor loyal. In fact it was evil. " Rainbow was very angry
" I don't know what kind of detention this deserves. " Cherille spoke
" We'll handle that. Maybe. " Luna replied to her and sent a cold look at the filly
" Not maybe, but for sure. We must. " Celestia told her sister and sent an equally cold, if not colder, look at Tiara.
" But... " the filly tried to defend herself
" No " but" s, young lady! You ruined all of your life just to deal with the enemies, that are actually your friends. You deserve any kind of punishment the princesses will think of. " Rarity told her
The one- eyed stalion neared Celestia and whispered something in Celestia's ears. She smiled.
" We let you on the behalf of S.H.I.E.L.D.. No villain ever returned from her headquarters. "
" We'll make an exception for you, young filly, but only if you are very, very cooperative. Otherwise... " the mare said her
" ... You won't return. " the third pony finished her sentence
" Be careful! The Amulet is a powerful is a powerful tool and she may be still able of using magic, though she has no horn. " Luna warned them
" She can't. I've destroyed it. " Hase said her
The two princesses were very confused
" Destroyed it? But how? We used the most powerful spells... "
" Ever tried with a million volt lightning? "
" Ah, no. "
" We still don't trust you. Show it to us. "
Hase smiled and got it out from a bag.
" And what exactly did you destroy? " Luna asked him.
Hase opened his eyes and saw, that the Amulet was just like it was before the explosion.
" But... I... I saw it blow up! "
Luna and Celestia looked at each other and spoke:
" It's indestructible, as we told you. We leave it to Twilight. That's your first task, my ex- student. Study the Amulet. " Celestia told the purple alicorn
" But we'll take Tiara, as we said. " Luna said her.
Two royal guards lifted Tiara and dropped her in the strange flying mashine of the one- eyed pony, that Hase called "a helicopter".
The Princesses went in their carrets and flew away. Cherilee also returned home. Now the Mane 6 remained with Trixie and Hase. It was obviously who they blamed.
" It's always you! " Rarity yelled at Trixie. The group had chosen Hase's mansion for the meeting, on which they were going to decide whose fault it was. Realising, that the Mane 6 and Trixie are very old enemies, Hase, Pepper and Happy just stood next to the wall and listened how they argue.
" It wasn't me! She wanted it! "
" And wha did ya give it to her? " Captain Equestria was almost going to throw her vibranium shield at the Great and Powerful Trixie.
" Well, I thought she would use it just for a few little tricks! "
" Do you ever learn? This Amulet isn't ment for little tricks, it is ment to search and destroy! " Twilight said her.
Currently Pinkie, Fluttershy and Rainnbow Dash weren't part of the argue, so Hase made a little sign and both of them with Rainbow Dash got out.
" What is it? " Dash asked
" I think this is far from it's end. I want you to keep the War Mareshine battle armour at steady. " Hase replied
" You think it's not over? "
" Yes. But we can't do anything... yet. We have to be ready. "
" OK. " the both returned. Nopony but Pepper and Happy, who already knew of Dash' secret identity, noticed they were missing.
" And? " Hase asked how far with the argue did they get
" Well, it really isn't her fault. She didn't do such damage during it was with her, so she couldn't really know. I guess some ponies are more vulerable to it's power. " Twilight answered
" Great. And now can you leave, please? I want to go to sleep. "
" Right. Sorry, Hase. " Rarity and the others went to the exit.
" Can I sleep by you? " Trixie asked Twilight
" Of course. "
It was the end of a very exhausting day. Even Hase caught sleep. But the nightmares continued to torture him.
Another sunny morning in Ponyville. Altough Hase still couldn't sleep, the morning made his mood better, up to some point. The dreams have changed a bit. Now, instead of one pony, in the dream there were 2 ponies and something else he didn't recognize. The words were the same as before, but the trio spoke together. The red coloured pony was still there, together with a white pony and something orange on something gray.
' Nevermind ', he thought
" Sir, a strange object has been noticed over Ponyville. I suggest investigating. " Djarvis spoke from the house
" Really? And how does it look? "
" It looks like a screen, sir... a flying screeen. "
Hase nearly spit out the juice he was drinking
" A flying screen? "
" Affirmative. Flying is possible through jet engines. "
" That's impossible! Nopony else but me has access to such tech!"
" Affirmative, sir. Atleast nopony I know of. "
" Nevermind, Djarvis. Prepare the Mark VII... "
" I already had, sir. "
" OK, then call Dash. I may need her. "
" Calling. "
Hase went down to the basement and waited untill the machine assembled the Mark VII. The doors opened and Hase flew out of his house.
" Connected. Sir, you currently speak to Rainbow Dash. "
" Hey, Dashie, how is it going? I might need your help, pal. "
Rainbow Dash was still a bit sleepy. A call from Hase wasn't the best start of the day for her.
" It's seven o'clock! Can't you handle it yourself? "
" Ah, nope. It's a piece, that looks like my tech, but according to my satellite photos, it isn't. "
" And? "
" And if somepony knows how to build this tech, somepony will also know how to assemble my weapon systems, that defend my factory and can terrorize whole of Equestria. that enough for you? or maybe I should mension, that S.H.I.E.L.D. will hunt us down and blame us for all of it. And I've been in jail once. Trust me, it isn't pretty funny in there. Nor is it warm as they say. "
" Alright,alright. Coming. "
" Djarvis, turn on the assemble device in her house, would you? "
" It's already turned on. "
Meanwhile in Dash's house, one of the few ponies, that could match with Hase' humor, wasn't pretty excited about the ongoing task.
' Celestia, this suit is a curse. ' Dash thought and stepped on the assemble platform. The War Mareshine battle armour didn't look exactly like the Iron Stalion ones. It was in different shades of grey. The eyes shone in orange orange, not in white, a huge minigun stood on the left shoulder and the suit looked more pumped- up. Hase knew, that Dash admired the awesome, so he personally modified this Mark II for her, so she would keep her mouth shut for the suits she saw, when she once accidentaly crashed near his house after she trank a bit more cider.
' That's what I call looking badass. ' Dash thought as the War Mareshine flew out of the house and headed towards Ponyville
" Coming to you, Hase. " she said
" Alright. Cause the party is just geting started. " Hase answered on the radio, as he reached his destination and landed exactly in front of the mayor's office. Most of the ponies feared the huge flying thing so they hid in their houses. The only ponies on the street were Twilight, Applejack with her suit on, Fluttershy, Pinkie and Rarity, also with a suit on
" Any idea wha' tha'thing is? " AJ asked him, as his helmet lifted
" No idea. Djarvis says it isn't my tech. " the landicorn replied
The screen was slowly moving. The ponies stopped fearing and instead got out and gathered on the square. There was barely enough place for Dash to land.
" You were right Hase. Really strange. " the mare told him, as her helmet lifted
Suddenly, an image on the background of an untuned channel appeared. There were 10 rings in a circle and two swords in that circle. Hase got white as paper.
" Are ya alright? " AJ asked him
" This is the sign of the terreorists, that kidnapped my Stark form in New Equestria! I never knew, they existed here too. This could only bring bad. " the stalion replied
Soon the image dissapeared and a video began. On it there was a stramge looking earth pony with a long beard and hair, wearing a long darkgreen mantle, who sat on a throne and spoke:
" Citizen, fillies, foals, sheep. My name is the Mandarin. Some ponies consider me a terrorist, but I consider myself a teacher. Lesson Number 1- Heroes... there is no such thing. Do you think they'll always be there for you? They are ponies like you and me, not gods. Each and every one of them has it's weakness. And I'll prove it to you. But as we talked about gods... Lesson Number 2- Do you really want to live that way? Under the rule of two ponies, who think they are almighty, beause they have a horn and wings? Nooo, if you think like me, than you think it's time for this country to rule itself. That's why I will personally kill the princesses. "
The ponies made a step back from the screen.
" In the following 2 weeks, I'll expect for the Princesses to get off the throne. If they don't, each and every two days I will kill many ponies in many towns. And finally I'll take the throne myself. Don't think of stoping me, because you'll neeeeevvveeer ssseeeeee meee coooming. Thank you. " the screen showed the symbol again and flew backwards with the same slow speed as before.
" I guess you were right. " Dash told Hase
" Yeah, that's bad. I expect, that Fury will call us soon. " the stalion replied on the radio.
The next day complete chaos ( even for Discord) ruled in the town. Ponies ran everywhere, yelling " We will die! Save yourselves! ", several pickpockets took advantage of that and stealed everything on their way. The only place, where complete Order ruled, was inside Hase' mansion, where Mare Hill, Pill Coulson and Hick Fury himself had come to talk with Hase and the Mane 6.
" OK. You handled Tiara and now comes this! I don't say you're guilty, but you sure are a magnet for trouble, Mr. Stark! " the director of S.H.I.E.L.D. told the landicorn
" So... what do we do? " Dash asked
" I'll tell you what we do! We travel through the whole country and find him! " Rarity spoke
" No, absolutely no. That's what he'll expect. He knows about you, didn't you hear? Besides, we don't know where he will strike first. " Hill replied to her
" Sir, several ponies are hurt from thieves. They currently run to the Everfree forest. " Djarvis joined the conversation
" That's it. I'm going. " Dash ran to the door, where her suit stood.
" Ah, no. "
" No? " Dash was confused from the thing Hase just said " You'll just let them escape? "
" No. Djarvis, turn on the remote control and adjust it to the Mark XLII. "
" Yes, sir. "
" May I ask what are you doing Stark? " Fury asked as the whole gang followed the landicorn down th stairs
" You're gonna love this. " Hase lied on his belly on a bed. The Mark XLII assembled without anypony inside and the screen in front of the bed showed what was seen from the suit
" But... " Dash wondered how will the suit work without anypony inside.
" Just watch. " Hase put some kind of sencors on his hooves and head. The door opened and the suit flew out. The ponies saw, that hase was tilting from side to side, like if he was in the suit. The screen showed, that the suit got to three ponies, who were really running in direction the Everfree forest. They also saw the three repulsors, who made them unconcious.
" Done. I guess the Police could handle them now. " Hase said as he piloted the suit back to the basement and the doors closed.
