Legends of Equestria: DemonStorm

"So how is it we are meant to restart the magic of Equestria?" Bright Haze asked. The demons were breaking in and everypony was running out of time. Princess Luna, a rather large man, presumably Heavy and the orange pony Slayer ran in.

"We have tiny problem." The Heavy said. There was a small explosion heard and there was an echo of demons screaming out. "Okay. We have big problem." Heavy added and readied his gun into the rest of the castle.

"Defensive formations. I want shields up now! Prepare for battle! Get the mares and fillies out of here!" Celestia shouted. More noises were heard as windows smashed and spells gave way.

"Haze with me!" Dari shouted and ran to the Heart. Bright Haze ran to the Heart as gunfire sounded. The Heavy to shout out some war cry as he fired his gun. More windows broke and demons continued to pour in.

"How do I do this?" Haze shouted.

"Us Surens. We get more than just magic. Focus on the Heart Haze. Just look at it and cast. It will guide you." Dari ordered. Bright Haze looked to her and saw a demon grab up a pony and rip it apart. Haze looked at the Heart.

"Okay. Tell me what to do." Haze muttered quietly. He closed his eyes for a second. When he opened them again, they were burning white. Magic trails began to form from him and the Heart, slowly, heading toward each other.

Dari was shooting down demons, she had ran from Haze toward the others as he cast. She bumped into Spectra who turned to look at her.

"We need to encircle Haze. He needs cover." Dari ordered. Spectra looked to Haze and nodded, everypony followed Dari and surrounded Haze. Shooting and fighting. Celestia even ran into the circle closely followed by everypony else. The whole garrison had formed in a circle firing upwards without pause.

"Keep firing!" Celestia shouted. She had her own gun and was taking on the hordes. The Heart began to slowly pulsate and groan loudly as the magic strengthened. More Demons ran in, the doors blow down and two of the red demons with maces charged forward roaring loudly. They had grown wings and had fire following their every step.

"Focus on the Red ones!" Crystal shouted and turned, shooting his two guns toward them. Steven broke away from the line and punched one of the creatures into the ground. The serpent screamed out as black acid blood lashed at his fist. Nick was running around trying to avoid all the acid and fires were beginning to start as the blood started to burn at the wood and cobble. The Heavy seemed to be covered in blood and he throw down his gun and brought out a sandwich which he ate. The blood actually disappeared and he cried out again, getting his gun and firing. Bullets lay all around him along with countless demons. But ponies were dying all around the circle. The second red demon had successfully evadied Steven and had a few ponies dead around it. The mace was even more red with blood and all decay shots were to no effect. Demons were everywhere and the pony circle was slowly getting smaller and smaller. Unicorns could do nothing except watch their unprotected brothers and sisters fall to demon. The horns weren't glowing and those that were would send a tiny bit of concentrated magic and do no harm to the demons what so ever. They needed mage support. Soon.

"We can't keep this up. Too many of us are dying. There is acid everywhere." Twilight shouted. Haze was still standing prone, staring at the Heart as it grow louder sending more magical pulses out. The trails were everywhere but it was still not enough.

"We have to make sure Haze survives." Dari shouted back. Bashing a demon back with the butt of her gun. Fire was everywhere, demons were everywhere and the acid of their blood was dripping down from all around. A pony screamed out as some dropped into his eye and his skull began to burn away. He ran for a second but dropped down, either fainted from pain or dead. The skin was still burning away to show raw bleeding muscle.

"Come on! We need this magic now!" Heart Breaker shouted. He had a bad burn on the side of his face from acid contact but not so bad he would die. Nick suddenly shouted out. His left arm had burned off and the tiny trails of purple magic poured out. Twilight screamed out. Nick being her creation gave a link to her, he died, she was hurt. A lot. Twilight screamed her horn vibrating quickly. The lavender mare fell to her front legs and Celestia ran over.

"I am hit!" Slayer shouted. His ear was burning away and he had various cuts on his body from demon claws. So many were dying every second. There was a huge noise as part of the roof fell in, falling down near the back covering the back door, so the rest of the castle was inaccessible. Hundreds more of the creatures soon dived in toward the unprotected ponies.

"I can't help them. I can't do anything!" Some unicorn shouted and ran out of the circle screaming. She was picked apart by hundreds of demons. The group were completely surrounded and there was no hope of survival.

"Des Ro Cani!" Haze suddenly shouted. Nopony knew what he said but after that. The world went white.

Dari stood up, coughing loudly. Rubble and dust lay everywhere. Ponies were waking up to see there were no demons. A quiet pulse came from the sky. Dari looked up to see a white clear shield formed above everypony, the demons flow on the other side. Not able to get in. The circle the shield protected was free of acid or fire. The survivors stood surrounded in their protected shields. The Heart gave one last pulse of magic making the noise of an explosion, everypony was knocked back and the Heart collapsed onto itself. Magic pouring out into the atmosphere. The demon horde were screaming out at that fact. Twilight blinked a few times and touched her horn with a hoof. She made to cast a spell and the horn began to glow a deep purple colour once more. Magic was back. Haze stood in the centre of everypony eyes burning white and a white horn had appeared on his head. Haze looked to Dari and said something else she didn't understand, white circles formed on the side of her body and her blue wings returned to her. Haze looked to the everypony else and cast, the wounds and burns healed completely.

"I am King Sir Bright Haze. I am the Heart of Old Equestria and the most powerful mage in all the Multiverse. Magic has returned to your world and you may do with what you wish. But I have the burden of the Heart Magic and I alone can control it." Haze declared, he sounded like he had two voices again. He levitated slightly and after a brief pause of floating. The horn vanished and he fell to the ground. Passing out.
