--Spectra's POV--

Spectra could hear and feel his heart beating wildly, he could still feel Rainbow's lips on his and he realized he wasn't dead. His eyes were just closed and he was scared.

"I'm dead. I'm dead. I'm dead." Spectra kept saying. He couldn't hear anything. Rainbow stopped the kiss and opened her eyes.

"Spectra. We are not dead." She muttered, slowly. Spectra opened his eyes, around the pair was a large purple shield. Twilight Sparkle was inside next to Rainbow casting the spell.

"We aren't fucking dead!" Spectra shouted.

"No you're not. Now can we get back to the fight. I'm running low on magic. They are so strong." Twilight grunted.

"Oh right of course, let's go." Spectra blushed. He grew his power and became Dark Red, his eyes burned red.

"Let's go!" He shouted and jumped into the fight. He shot his gun aimlessly into the enemy and felled dozens. Rainbow stood next to him and also gave off a volley of gunfire. Twilight stood dazed for a few seconds before aiming down her spear and stabbing at the closest enemy. She pulled the weapon out of the dying body, these things didn't even bleed, they just fell, dead. No noise or anything. Twilight teleported and stabbed another in the back. Her ears were ringing, much like everypony else's.

Spectra, Rainbow and Twi all stood in a line shooting and fighting, tearing through the enemy. But they kept coming. Twilight constantly having to put some kind of protective spell up to avoid the trio being shot. But many ponies weren't so lucky. Dead and dying lay everywhere, some so bloody and burnt it was near on impossible to see anything but blood. Death had a firm grip on this fight and he wasn't letting go. The Equestrians were losing too many too quickly and would need to either rally or run soon. Before the loses become too much everypony dies. An explosion ran and a blue coloured wing flow through the air and landed near a dead Mo'ka. Blood trailing after it. The sounds of battle had dimmed, but not in a good way, both from everypony losing hearing, and the fact the pony numbers were dropping drastically. There was fire everywhere as well, from spells or guns, fire had littered the world. Lighting the place up to show everypony the real death count. They had come here with other two thousand ponies and dragons. Well the dragons were gone and the ponies would be lucky to come out of this with a hundred survivors, if they did in deed come out. But it looked like it really would be to the last mare or colt.

"Rainbow. I love you." Spectra muttered. When there was no reply. His heart dropped.

--Haze's POV--

Bright Haze was charging through the ranks of the enemy. He killed everyone one of them that he saw but more kept coming. Swarming over the battlefield killing ponies left and right. Haze had taken a scratch on the metal plating he had attached to his body and the wound was stinging badly. His wings were bloodied and broken and refused to fly. Everywhere he looked was a dead pony fallen surrounded by hundreds of the enemy. The ponies had certainly killed more, but the Mo'ka had more to spare, Equestria didn't. Every pony dead was another grieving family. Each Mo'ka dead, meant another six would join the fight. Shields kept popping up and gunfire would sound but then cut of, Equestria was certainly losing this fight. The real question was, what would that mean for the Multiverse? The Mo'ka had attacked Equestria out of rage from Humanities defeat and Haze closing the portal. But this time there were a lot more universes at stack. Thomas and Orga had already faced these enemy, and lost. The Mo'ka had killed billions on their world. Or so they say, but Haze had no reason to doubt them. He knew of their power. Every pony on Equestria did. Either way, they needed reinforcements if they were to survive any longer. A rally was out of the question, ponies had come in with friends and family. But now were alone and dying. Like Haze.

More burning pain shot through his body as a Mo'ka shot his back leg. Blood dripped out and Haze fought back a scream. The pony turned and shot with magic, killing the enemy. Haze ran forward, ducking under another and shooting with the gun.

The gun that had killed Dee.

No.

The gun that had killed the leader.

Haze waved his head about in frustration. What good had killing the leader done? The enemy hadn't even flinched. It wasn't for revenge because Haze still felt, empty. Enough hadn't been done against the enemy but it was costing pony lives. Haze stopped at a corpse. A young stallion with only one leg still attached. The body was burned and bloody, only the cutie mark could be seen.

A small red flower in a heart. This pony was a romantic colt. A lover, not a fighter. But he had died nevertheless. Too young to die. Too young for fighting. Haze paused and looked around. There were barely any ponies standing anymore, just Mo'ka and red laser lights of their spears. This had gone to far.

"Retreat!" Haze shouted, turning and running away from the fight. He cast a spell to allow his voice to be louder and repeated it over and over. Some ponies saw him and heard him. They began to run as well. Spear fire followed everypony as they ran away from the fight. Wounded and dying were ahead. Many ponies covering the retreat. Still they were shot and killed. Haze opened a portal for everypony and they ran through. Only when Haze was certain everypony was safe did he run too. Getting shot as he went, Haze came crashing through the portal as it closed, getting back to Equestria, there. He passed out.
