--Spectra's POV--

Spectra ran through the portal that Haze had opened, the Siren Pegasus didn't seem to notice the pair as Spectra carried the passed out Rainbow. The gun on his saddle had fallen off when he picked her up, but right now he didn't really care for a gun. His wife was dying. Spectra ran straight through back to Equestria without even glaring back. There were medical unicorns, who really had their hooves full right now. Spectra placed Rainbow down onto a bed as a few unicorn healers arrived, but it wasn't enough. There were wounded everywhere and dead littered the floor. Ponies kept pouring through the portal, even Celestia and Luna were even helping the healing and rushing through the crowds of unicorns and wounded. Spectra had tears in his eyes and pain through his body. Screams and shouts had filled the air and the stink of blood filled the noses of everypony. Spectra was close to throwing up, the only thing that stopped him was the fact Rainbow was laying there dying. Spectra was tired and hurt, but wouldn't rest until Rainbow was safe. There was a loud noise and Spectra watched as Haze shot through the portal, it closed and he feel to the ground, blood dripped from his body.The portal promptly closed behind him.

"Haze is down! What the fuck do we do! They are going to come here and kill us all!" Heart Breaker shouted, Spectra could see the others around a bed, one of Spectra's friends was dying, but right now, he had Rainbow to look after. Spectra felt a tap of a hoof on his own and he looked down to see Rainbow was looking up to him, with tears in her eyes.

"S-Spectra." She muttered. Her voice was weak and quiet.

"Rainbow, look at me, just look at me. Don't you dare die. You are going to be fine. You hear me?" Spectra shouted, crying already.

"That's a lie and you know it." Rainbow muttered, smiling weakly. Her voice was weakening and her breathing was shallow.

"Come on Rainbow. Stay with me!" Spectra shouted. "You can't die!"

"Spectra. Don't worry, just look after the kids. And don't die." Rainbow muttered.

"I won't and neither will you. Rainbow, stay with me!" Spectra shouted, his eyes were glowing red.

"Spectra. Stop. It's okay." Rainbow muttered, her hoof dropped down. She closed her eyes slowly.

"Rainbow. Nononononononononono!" Spectra shouted, Rainbow smiled once more and stopped breathing. "NO!" Spectra shouted, he started panicking and called for help. The unicorns around Rainbow stopped casting and looked to Spectra, one tapped his shoulder and waved his head.

"I am so sorry." The unicorn said and walked off, the other healers began to heal other ponies. Spectra just looked at Rainbow.

"Please." Spectra muttered, he pushed his muzzel into Rainbow's chest and wept. He could feel something pulling away from him, he looked up to see a ghostly figure of himself, his, it's eyes were glowing red and the cutie mark was a red colour. It was Dark Red. The ghost disappeared and Spectra knew it. Dark Red was gone, his rage was gone. Another figure appeared, the eyes of Spectra's ghost were glowing white and the cutie mark was all white or light grey. The ghost entered Spectra. He had lost rage and gained fear, grief and pain. Spectra wept into his dead wifes chest.

--Dari's POV--

Dari watched over Shadow, Diamond Ray and the mad Professer lay dying on three beds. The Professer seemed to be mubberling about some small man named Mr Onion but Dari wasn't really listening. It was Shadow who was the only one talking, Diamond seemed to be asleep and would die in his sleep most likely.

"This was all for nothing wasn't it. Everypony has, and will die in vein here won't they?" Shadow muttered, holding his hoof over a wound, three unicorns stood over him. Casting.

"No, now the enemy will think twice before attacking the Multiverse again, they have seen the power of just this world alone and now see that we can and will, fight back. The Mo'ka will think twice, we may have lost. But we sure as shit won't lose the war." Dari replied.

"You really believe that don't you?" Shadow muttered.

"Of course, I, we have to." Dari replied. Shadow nodded.

"Thank you." He muttered, then laughed. "Who will look after the Everfree now?" He asked. Then he closed his eyes and the unicorns stopped casting.

During the night, as predicted both the Professer and Diamond also died. As did so many more. The healing went all through the night and only until morning did the last pony die and the numbers were truely shown. They had gone in with over a thousand dragons and three thousand ponies, now they numbered just over four dragons and four hundred ponies.

Dari could see Spectra sitting and standing with the corspe of Rainbow, not letting anypony move her he had sat there all night. Haze had woken up and limped over, but after a quick conversation left the Pegasus alone and was now talking with Celestia and Luna.

The two Hunters of Split had spent the entire night shouting and screaming at each other and were now standing close to the Princesses waiting to speak to them. They had probably decided to leave and move on to Earth, as the women and the two children were with the bloodied and armoured men.

"What the hell do we do? We are down to under four hundred, we had thousands. What do we do?" Dari asked nopony.

"I dunno Dari. What left is there to do? We are broken, dying and vastly outnumbered. We have nothing left to do. We should never had gone to battle." Heart Breaker replied.

"No we shouldn't have, but we needed to show the enemy that we can and will fight back." Dari muttered.

"Aye. But that didn't answer your question. What the hell do we do now?" Heart Breaker replied.

"No. It didn't, I guess we are about to find out." Dari grunted and stood up as Celestia, Luna and Haze walked toward them. The trio looked to the ponies and nodded.

"The Hunters are going back to Earth and we have decided to send everyone else who aren't from this universe home. It's better that way." Celestia declared. Nick seemed puzzled.

"How is that better? Equestria has been defeated and so many ponies have died in vein." The Knife grunted.

"They are leaving so they can go home to their own homes. Defend themselves. It has been decided I will open a portal as soon as-" Celestia was cut off by a loud noise. The sound of a portal, but it was big. Everypony who wasn't resting stood up and aimed weapons. The portal began to form, two more could be seen outside the gates. The two were giant, the biggest anypony had seen. The portal in front was smaller, but still huge.

"Goodbye my friends." Haze muttered, not even raising his gun.

"Everypony fall back to the castle!" Luna barked, panick quickly spread and ponies began to run. A few brave souls decided to stay, the knights of Equestria among that number. Celestia also stayed.

"You have all been so brave my little ponies. Thank you." She said.

"Kill as many as you can, hold them as long as possible! Let the civilians prepare!" Heart Breaker shouted aiming his gun. The portal was now fully formed and creatures came out.

It wasn't the Mo'ka.
