Bright Haze was flying. The battlefield below him. Mo'ka and ponies alike fighting each other, near on everypony down there was bleeding or dying, but still they fought. Not giving up. The enemy had advanced through the city so all those inside were now fighting as well. Haze wasn't flying in the normal matter, he had been blasted upwards by his healing spell. Blood was splattered across his face and the scars of his body hurt, that white speck of an eye itched and the other was showing faded vision. As Haze flow through the air he relaxed, to an extent. There was no more he could do. Hopefully Spectra, Heart and Twilight had been saved. Hopefully. As Haze let his good eye close he felt the tug of something and his body change direction. Luna had flown up and grabbed him in mid flight and was now bringing him back down to the ground. He opened his eye and turned his head slowly, watching a red light slice into the Princess of the night. She grunted in pain but otherwise ignored it. Shooting a spell at the ground and causing a large explosion of black fire to fly up. Luna banked left and turned, heading toward Celestia, Faust, who was now getting up, and Dari. Luna landed Haze down and he flopped to the ground, not moving or attempting to get up, just staring at the approaching ponies.

"Haze. That spell nearly killed you.-" Faust muttered, her voice echoing. Darkness over took him for a second. "-We have to do it. For your own safety-" Darkness again. "-Haze? Haze! Stand back, I am going to heal him!" Haze passed out again but felt his body go light and the ground push away as he was lifted into the air.

"My Queen, Princesses. We can't defeat them can we." Haze found himself muttering, blood now covering his eye.

"Yes we can. Just have to keel fighting." Faust replied. The two sisters remained silent.

"For how long? How many need to die?" Haze asked.

"They will not die in vain, hold still." Faust replied, her blue magic sending out tentacle like strands of magic toward Haze. His body was rolled over and the blood dripped away from his face and into his hair.

"I am going in." Haze muttered.

"Hmm?" Faust asked.

"Into the Void. Not alone, I will need ponies. But ponies that know they may not return. At all." Haze added.

"An elite team to hold them back? We tried that. It didn't work." Faust grunted.

"No. Just a few pony volunteers who will go into the Void with me and to fight back the Mo'ka whilst I cast a spell that will destroy the Void."

"But that's impossible. I would have done that if it were possible, even so, destroying the Void would cause mass devasation to the Multiverse, worlds would be closer than ever. The technology actually there for interdimension travel, Interdimensional war! Best case would be every Universe ever, all pushed together into one space. Worse case? Well, I dread to think."

"Well its either the destruction of the Void and the true enemies, making way for some wars, or we let them win."

"It's an impossible choice." Celestia muttered.

"Well I am going in, whether it's fighting the enemy til I die, or destroying them for good. But make your mind up my queen. I am leaving as soon as I find ponies." Haze muttered, the spell stopped and his body fell. He picked up a gun saddle with his magic and charged forward.

Spectra gulped in air. Staring into the sky, pain shot through his body and the sounds of war echoed out. He stood, slowly. Seeing Twilight and Heart likewise getting back up. Spectra looked to his side to where wounds once were and physically watched them heal away.

"Fuck. We are alive!" Spectra shouted, spotting a line of red laser fire shot go over his head.

"Well, we better get back in the fight. Where's Haze?" Heart Breaker asked.

"I'm here! Guys!" Haze shouted from above. Spectra looked up to see the bleeding, scared Pegasus Siren flying over them.

"Haze. What are you doing. What's the plan?" Twilight asked.

"Gather weverypony up we know, Crystal, Dari, Fallen Gears, everyone! If you are with me, I have a plan." Haze shouted. Twilight and Heart nodded and they both ran off into the battle looking for the others. Spectra flow up to Haze.

"What are you planning?" Spectra asked.

"I, we. We, are going into the Void and blowing it up. If you are with me, we stay near the portal, you all keep the enemy of me whilst I cast, just before the spell goes off, you run." Haze replied.

"So you are killing yourself, again?" Spectra asked.

"Hopefully not. If I cast right I should know just before the spell goes off and be able to shoot it at the enemy. Then I can run with you."

"And if you fail the casting?"

"Then we all die."

"I'm in. But what of the effects of destroying the gap between worlds?"

"Well, Faust says that we either force all the Universes into one place, probably causing millions and billions of Interdimensional wars. Or we destroy all of reality. Maybe, I am only guess that second one."

"So either way we fucked up."

"Yeah, but at least we defeated the true enemies to the Multiverse. After this, people can murder each other to no end, they won't have the threat of destroying a Universe." Haze replied, then smiled grimly.

"Well, fuck. I will go get the others. How many do we need?" Spectra asked.

"As many as are willing to go. But if they don't, it's just me."

"Me,and you. And probably Heart, Dari. Ya know. All the ponies and people you had to get yelled at by the fucking queen to realize they will fight til the end with you."

"I didn't mean it like that, I mean. If no one wants to come. Stay here Spectra. I just need a few guards, dont die for me. Die old, not today." Haze replied.

"You really do put your life before all others don't you."

"Hey, if I fuck this up, you will be able to meet infinite possibilities of me. And you."

"Oh, joy." Spectra muttered and flow off. Leaving Haze alone to shoot at the enemy. Bright Haze just flow there still for a few moments, pondering on this plan of his. What if I didn't work, what if I did? The consequences the Multiverse would face with either side of the coin would be devastating, unless it wasn't the Void he destroyed..

"Yes, of course! Faust!" Haze shouted and flow backwards, toward the fighting queen. "Faust!" He shouted.

"Haze. What is it?" She asked.

"I don't need to destroy the Void, just the portal between the Void and the Multiverse." Haze shouted.

"It can't be done Haze, I have tried. For a spell that powerful you would have needed billions of years of practice, and more magic than anypony has ever harboured before." Faust replied slowly, quietly.

"That's why I need you. I need you, Luna, Celestia and any other free unicorns we have to store magic into one gem. Then I can take it once we get into the Void and cast. It should work."

"But still. You don't know what spell to cast."

"Well I have to try something Faust!" Haze shouted, horn burning white.

"Haze. Calm down."

"NO!" Haze shouted, he seemed to have two voices as his two eyes began to set alight in white flame. "WE WILL DEFEAT THEM! TELL ME THE SPELL." Haze added.

"Haze. I don't know. Really. We can't defeat the enemy, I thought with these numbers we had a chance, but look around. We are failing again. This time there is nowhere to run." Faust replied quietly.

"You created Equestria Lauren, started infinite possibilities of life and expansion. Yet you can't finish the threat of your land." Haze muttered, the fire dying away.

"I'm sorry Bright Haze. There is nothing I can do."

"Well, I haven't given up. If I can't close the portal, the plan is to blow the fuckers up again."

"Didn't you try that?"

"The explosion was their own magic, it did nothing to them. This time. They can't fight real; pure magic." Haze grunted, smiling. Spectra flow down from the sky, the others either flying or running behind.

"Ah, just on time. Mares, stallions, humans. We cannot won't this fight as you already know. And you already know we have lost a good deal of friends and lovers to this war. But today, today we end the enemy. They came here to destroy us, leaving their home, the Void, realitively undefended. Giving us the perfect time to attack. My plan is for me, along with you, if you are willing to join me, to go into the Void. I will cast a spell big enough to destroy the Void and you guys keep the enemy off me. Once i am ready to cast. You run." Haze said.

"Question." Twilight asked. "How do you know if the spell will be powerful enough?" She added.

"I won't. I can only believe the Mo'ka survive from the Void, rather than the other way around. So I will presume that once the Void dies, so do they. Hopefully." Haze replied.

"Well I am already in." Spectra muttered, stepping forward, gun aimed down. Heart Breaker looked to Celestia and nodded.

"I will also join." Heart Breaker muttered.

"And I" Crystal said, he appeared to be an arm short and had burns and cuts all over his body but still held a Decay Gun in one hand.

"Trust the Aussies to go first." Haze muttered, smiling. "Anyone else?" He asked aloud. Soon enough, all his friends volunteered to join in this dangerous mission. "Well then. Lets get to it. Grab weapons, clear a path. Ponies, we charge." Haze muttered, shooting gun and spell as he galloped forward. The group, lead by Steven, who ran forward, swinging the huge tree club of his as he went, ran through the enemy and allied forces heading toward the huge portal where the Mo'ka were pouring through. It looked as if the Void itself was leaking through, black trails were slowly forming on the ground and in the sky.

"Here we go!" Dari shouted, flying up and taking flight, jumping over a laser shot.

"Ready?" Haze asked.

"No. Lets just get this done!" Spectra replied. The Mo'ka running forward aimed their spear guns, the ponies and other creatures did likewise with their own weapons and began to fire. Dodging shots and attacks from the enemy. A few took hits but they kept running. Eventually passing into the Void and drifting into the silence again. The group just stood for a moment not knowing what to do. The Void was as empty as it should be. No sign of anything. The only sound was of the portal humming gently.

"Casting, just stay close to the portal and defend this area. I see them." Haze muttered suddenly, making Fluttershy jump.

"Hurry. Tell us when you're ready." Spectra replied slowly.

"Will do. If you guys get pushed back or whatever, just go back to Equestria. Now focus, here comes their next wave." Haze replied, then in the darkness the red lights of the enemy weapons glowed bright. The group prepared weapons and Haze's horn formed and began to glow. Magic leaking down.

"This. Is going to hurt. A lot." Haze muttered.

"Do you even know what you are casting?" Twilight asked.

"Not really, just, if you aren't fighting. Lend me some magic will you?" Haze asked.

"Of course." Twilight replied, horn already glowing. The Mo'ka forces were nearing and everyone ran forward to defend the portal.

"Here we go!" Spectra shouted and jumped into the fight. Wings flapping. Gun down. He gave of a volley of three shots toward the enemy, downing two straight off, the third shot blasting into one of the dead enemy's shoulder. The two pieces of Decay turning the Mo'ka to dust in seconds. Those who had close combat weaponry ran forward, cutting down the enemy and ducking and running under and over gunfire. Haze stood still. Horn glowing brighter and stronger.all the time. Every now and again Twilight stopped fighting and gave off some magic to him. Haze nodded and thanked her everytime. But still looked in deep pain. Grunted and closing his eyes every now and again, but held the casting.

"Be ready!" Haze shouted suddenly. Spectra turned and nodded, firing his gun again. He soon spread the word and the unicorns of the party moved back and began giving Haze magic.

"Move back! Move back!" Haze shouted, crying nearly. His horn was sparking brighter than had ever been seen and the magic ball covered much of his head. Twilight's horn began to glow purple as she cast her own spell. After a minute she let the magic out and blasted the enemy back. The others stepped back, Steven had one leg going through the portal, stepping back, he was obviously on edge.

"Go!" Haze shouted and shot. The Void went white for a second as a huge ball of white fire shot from Haze's magicly made horn. The group ran out of the Void, Haze turned and slipped. Falling. Spectra, Heart and Nick noticed his fall and turned to help him. Time seemed to slow down as Haze got up and the four began to run. The enemy following close behind, the spell had already stopped it's movement and was expanding in mid-air. Sparking energies out in white lightning. "Run! Go!" Haze shouted to his friends, galloping forward, the trio who had come back for him also turned, a few slipping but otherwise okay. They were so close to the portal, the sounds of the battle on the other side could be heard, only to be interupted by the sound of an explosion. Haze saw his life flash before his eyes, his life here. And Earth.

"Haze!" Spectra shouted and was blasted into the air by the spell, Haze was also lifted of his feet and flow straight over the portal, the closed shut under the pressure of the spell. The cries of the Mo'ka joined the sounds of the boom. Haze blacked out for a moment and only woke up when he felt the smack of his body on the ground.

"I'm sorry, I'm so sorry." He muttered. Spectra stood up and ran forward, the spell was collasping into itself, after a minute of everypony lying or standing in silence whilst the spell disappeared. Once it did, Haze stood up, staring into the Void, it certainly hadn't been destroyed, but there was no sign of the Mo'ka. Nothing. Haze's horn began to glow, but after a minute, he shock his head, tears forming.

"Did we win? Did we do it?" Nick asked. Spectra was limping, as was Heart Breaker.

"Yeah we won. We won Nick." Haze muttered in reply and began to walk away.

"Where are you going Haze? Open the portal, we can go home." Spectra called to him. Haze turned, tears in his eye.

"I am so sorry Spectra, you should have left me. You should have gone home, all of you, you shouldn't have tried to help." Haze muttered.

"What the fuck does that mean?" Spectra shouted.

"Haze? What are you saying?" Heart Breaker asked.

"I'm." Haze paused, the gulped down, unclipping his gun saddle and letting it drop to the ground. "I'm saying, I can't. There is no magic to open a portal anymore. I can't find the magic."

"Hm?" Heart asked.

"I can't open a portal home, the magic doesn't excist anymore."

"So, we're stuck here? Forever." Spectra asked slowly.

"Maybe, I am not overly sure, but I can't cast a portal this side. We have to either wait for the magic to return, or Equestria to open a portal for us." Haze muttered.

"What the fuck have you done." Spectra muttered quietly. "We are going to starve out here. WHAT HAVE YOU DONE HAZE!" He shouted, spitting at Haze as he shouted. Eyes going red.

"Do whatever you want to me Spectra, I didn't mean for this to happen, you should have left me." Haze muttered and sat down, he looked to his friend then the floor, closing his eyes waiting for the punch that he expected. But nothing came.

"What's the point, at least I die with friends eh?" Spectra asked.

----Equestria----

Queen Lauren Faust stood at the portal as the group ran through, the enemy stopped pouring through and after a minute, the remaining Mo'ka, just turned to dust. Cheers of victory went up but not all was right, the ground were missing a few. Heart Breaker, Bright Haze, Spectra Speed, and that knife; Nick.

"Where are the others?" Faust asked as Twilight limped out of the portal. Twilight paused and turned to the portal, there was a loud explosion and the portal shut. "NO!" Faust shouted, running forward. She wasn't sure where she was running to, as the portal had closed, but forward the queen galloped, flanked by her daughters. Faust paused and began to cast, but everytime the spell failed, over and over she cast a portal spell into the Void, but over and over her horn stopped glowing and the spell failed.

"Mother?" Celestia asked.

"They are trapped. Haze hasn't destroyed the Void, he has destroyed portal technology itself, Universes can't get to each other anymore, and the Void can't get into the Multiverse. There isn't any technology to get from world to world, so Fallen Gears and his men are trapped here as much as Haze and the others are trapped out there." Faust replied.

"But how? I thought that was impossible." Celestia asked.

"It is, so that makes the situation even more worrying." Faust replied.

"Well, what do we do?" Luna asked.

"What do you mean, there is nothing we can do. I know we can't leave them, but we genuinely can't help them, if I can't open a portal, then we can't save them, they are stuck there, forever." Faust replied.

"Then we put whatever unicorn powers we have into fixing this and rebuild Equestria, all we can do is move on. They saved the Multiverse, and will never be forgotten in our history books. They are heroes, and will forever be the knights of the Multiverse, I hope we can save them, but until that day, may they rest in peace, knowing they saved us all." Celestia replied and moved off to tell Gears he couldn't go home.

"I am sorry Haze, I will do everything in my power to bring you four home, I swear it." Faust muttered, tears dripping down, she limped off toward Celestia, Luna following close behind.
