Wild Flyer, a young pegasus, sister of Rainbow Dash, and cousin of scootaloo, embarks on an adventure to gain her cutie mark. She meets a Unicorn named Glitter, and an earth pony named Starr Wave, and form the second set of Cutie Mark Crusaiders.
