Wild Flyer's Epic Adventures
First Day
Load Full StoryIt was a cold morning in August. Wild Flyer had been eating breakfast when her mother, Honeydew Mist, had come in the kitchen from down the hall. "Hurry up dear, it's time for school. Your father will be taking you", she said. "Mom I can fly to school by my self", Wild Flyer replied. Her father, Rainbow Crow, stop reading the Sports section in the newspaper and said, "She's right, dear. She's old enough to fly to school by herself. Rainbow Dash went to school on her first day by herself, I don't see why Wild Flyer can't." Wild Flyer had just finished breakfast as Rainbow Dash came in from the living room. "Don't worry, squirt. Scootaloo still doesn't have her cutie mark, so there's no need to worry", she said. Wild Flyer look at her flank, which was bare without her cutie mark. She quickly covered her flank with her tail in embarrisment.
Her mother sighed then said," Alright Wild Flyer, if it's okay with your father its okay with me. Just don't talk to any-ponies you don't know. Your father will watch you from the window." Her mother stared at her father and said, "Right,Rainbow Crow?" Her father straightened his tie and said" Of course I will." Wild Flyer then sighed, grabbed her backpack and her lunch, and headed out the door. On her way to Straley Elementary, she ran into Rumble, a fellow young pegasi. Rumble just quickly ran to school. "Well. Not even saying sorry", Wild Flyer mumbled. When she entered the school, Silver Spoon and Diamond Tiara and stopped her in the hall. "Well, well, well. Looks like we have a new Blank Flank around here, Silver Spoon", said Diamond Tiara.
"Leave me alone before you end up in the hospital", yelled Wild Flyer. Silver Spoon laughed and said,"Looks like this little kitty has claws, Diamond Tiara." Wild Flyer made a fist and then remembered what her mom had said the day before, " If any pony gives you a hard time, don't fight just walk away and if they continue to, tell a teacher." Wild Flyer took a deep breath and and said," Just leave me alone."
