Vergil in Equestria

Vergil and Rarity strolled through Ponyville. The dark slayer did get a couple friendly looks and waves at him which he just scoffed at.

"So how did you end up in Equestria?" Rarity asked.

"A strange bright light brought me here and in turn altered my appearance to match the dominant species." Vergil said simply.

"...... That is strange." The white unicorn said.

When the two were walking they came across a pink pony with a very puffy mane and tail with balloons as a cutie mark. When she looked at Vergil she gasped very loudly and then took off quickly.

"What was that all about?" The dark slayer asked.

"Oh that was just..." Rarity started but was interrupted by a southern drawl voice.

"Howdy Rarity." It said.

The two looked ahead and saw an orange pony with a tied up blonde mane and tail with three apples as a cutie mark.

"Say who's your friend over there?" She asked.

"Why this is..." Rarity started.

"Vergil." Vergil interrupted.

"Yes. Vergil. He's new here." The white unicorn said.

"Well it's a very nice please to meet y'all. I'm Applejack." The orange pony introduced.

"..... A pleasure Miss Applejack." Vergil said using the manners he was taught as a child.

"Why thank you very kindly partner. But just call me Applejack your wasting wordplay with the whole 'Miss' thing." Applejack said.

"Very well m... Applejack." The dark slayer corrected.

"Well since your here how about a taste of some good ol' apple pie? I was just about to set up mah shop." The orange cowpony said.

"...... Very well. I haven't had anything to eat in the last couple days."

"I must say that was most delicious. Never had anything so good." Vergil said.

"Well she does live on a farm." Rarity said.

"I guess that explains it. Even I would have figured that out." The dark slayer thought to himself.

Although high above the two a stray storm cloud was following them and on top of it was a blue pegasus with cyan wings, rainbow mane and tail and a rainbow colored lightning bolt as a cutie mark. She was Rainbow Dash, fastest flyer in all of Equestria and top notch pranker.

Looks like Rarity has a new friend. Perhaps I'll give him a little scare and then we'll have a good laugh. Dash thought to herself and snickered.

She was about to buck the cloud when a sword sliced through the cloud and she ended up falling down and crashing onto the ground.

"Nice try pitiful fool." She heard.

When she looked up she saw Vergil with a cold look in his eyes. He then caught the sword that came through the cloud and sheathed it.

"Dang it.... You ruined my prank." Dash said.

"Well you should know better than to prank a pony with a sword who also knows you were there the whole time." The dark slayer said.

"Huh?" The blue pegasus said confused.

"I could sense your power from up above. You stick out very easy foolish mare." Vergil said.

"Hey! I am not a fool!" Dash shouted annoyed and insulted.

"Well by the way you were trying to prank me and failed that cleary prooves you are a fool." Vergil stated.

"Grrrrrr." Dash growled.

Rarity then came over and said,

"Oh do excuse my friend, Rainbow Dash. She can be a little troublesome sometimes. And you must excuse Vergil here. He's very serious and apparently has some anger issues."

"What did you say about me?!" The dark slayer said annoyed.

"Hey cool down bro. And besides I wasn't aiming for you I was only trying to give you a little scare. For fun." The blue pegasus said.

"Well do excuse me.... Miss Dash but I don't take kindly to jokes pulled on me. Neither do I take kindly to troublemakers." Vergil said coldly.

"Troublemaker? Just because I was trying to prank you doesn't mean I'm a troublemaker."

"The definition of troublemaker is a pony who causes trouble for others, especially one who does so habitually out of malice. Other words are delinquant, vandal and ne'er-do-well. Which all three define you perfectly.... You troublemaking, foolish mare." Vergil stated with annoyance and high coldness.

"Grrrr. Why you I oughta..."

"You ought to what?" Vergil asked unsheathing Yamato and pointing the blade at the speedster pony.

"I thought so." The dark slayer said sheathing his sword,

"Come along Rarity. We shall not waste anymore time with this troublemaker."

He then trotted off without a care in the world with Rarity following behind.

What's his problem? Rainbow Dash thought.

"You didn't need to be so rude to her." Rarity said.

"She was a troublemaker so she desereves it. I can hardly believe you are friends with that delinquant Rainbow Dash." Vergil said coldly.

"You could have at least try to be nice to her." The white unicorn said.

"I'd sooner swallow my own tounge than be kind to that ne'er-do-well." The dark slayer stated.

They were about to walk furthur when they noticed that something was blocking their way. A yellow pegasus with a pink mane and tail with butterflies as a cutie mark was leading some chickens across the road.

"Okay stay steady. Make sure your with your travel buddy." She said.

"Excuse me!" Vergil shouted.

"EEP!" The pegasus went and quickly hid her face behind her mane.

"I don't mean to be rude but your chicken trail is blocking our way."  The dark slayer said.

"Uh... Um... Eh.... Um."

"This is Fluttershy Vergil." Rarity said.

"I can see where she got her name." The dark slayer said,

"Well Miss Fluttershy. If you want I could lend you some help."

"Eh.... If it's alright with you I guess." Fluttershy said.

Then in a flash Vegil quickly rushed from one side of the road to the other with the chickens and back.

"Oh my.... No regular pony can possibly be that fast." Rarity said.

"That's because..... I'm no regular pony. I have special powers." Vergil said,

"I'd like to share them but we're on a tour. I'll see you around Miss Fluttershy."

He then quickly rushed off with Rarity trotting after.

The two ponies had reached a tree house.... Literaly.

"And this is the Golden Oakes Library." Rarity said.

"..... It's a tree. Huh I guess it's an actual tree house." Vergil said.

The dark slayer then trotted up to the door and knocked on it. He heard whispering and then without any hesitation he opened the door. Then out of nowhere the lights flickered on and tons of ponies came out of hiding and shouted,

"SURPRISE!!!!"

"Gwaaaaa!!!!!" Vergil shouted shocked.

Then the same pink pony Vergil ran into came up and said,

"Hi there! I'm Pinkie Pie and I threw this party just for you!"

"I can see that. But it was a useless effort because I already knew you were in here. I can sense your energy and boy is it wild." The dark slayer said and then trotted off.

"Woooow. You can sense my energy? Do you have a special sense as well?" Pinkie asked.

".... Something like that." Vergil said.

"Well when I first saw you I just knew that were new here and that you didn't have any friends. Although you were hanging with Rarity which means that you made friends with her. But I just wanted to throw this pinkie party to make you feel special." The pink pony rambled.

She then continued rambling on and on when Vergil sighed to himself.

She reminds me so much of Dante..... She's just as annoying. He thought to himself.

As he was about to put his hoof in her mouth he looked up and saw a lavender unicorn with a hime cut and a some stars as a cutie mark trotting down the stairs.

"You must be the certain somepony that Pinkie was throwing this party for. It's a pleasure to meet you. I'm Twilight Sparkle." She said extending her hoof.

"Vergil. A pleasure to meet you Miss Sparkle." The dark slayer responded shaking her hoof.

"Vergil huh? That's a very interesting name." Twilight said.

"So does Twilight Sparkle. Sounds like a star glittering in the night sky." Vergil said,

And a pretty one at that.

"Well thank you. Hope you enjoy Pinkie's party." The lavender unicorn said.

"Okay." The dark slayer said.

He then trotted off with a smile on his face... not a sarcastic, cold smile or smirk. An authentic smile.

That Twilight. She seems to remind me of someone. And that someone.... Appears to be me. Vergil thought.

The party lasted for twelve hours. Many ponies tried to talk to Vergil but he just ignored them. Even Pinkie tried talking to him which just annoyed him. Annoyed him so much he actually had to result to drinking champagne to calm his nerves. Although he drank a little bit to much and ended up passing out on the ground.

Vergil awoke from unconsciousness and saw that everypony had left.

"I guess I must have drank a little too much. Which is surprising cause I never drink." Vergil said.

"Good, your up. About time." A voice said.

He looked up and saw Twilight looking at him.

"You went a little crazy and then passed out on the ground. Although I did manage to clean you up. Rarity told me everything about you and it's amazing. A real human transformed into a pony. Facinating. Normally I'd ask you some questions but I'm really tired." She said.

"Do you think I could live here.... just until I can figure a way back home?" Vergil asked,

"Okay I guess. I'll have Spike show you the guest room. SPIKE!!" Twilight shouted.

Then a baby dragon with purple and green spikes rushed down.

"Here I am." He said.

"Spike, please show Vergil the guest room."

"Right away." Spike answered.

Vergil and Spike then walked upstairs and then turned left and got to a door.

"Here's the guest room. If you need anything just call." Spike said.

Vergil just walked inside and shut the door. He then trotted over to the bed and laid on it. He put Yamato on the desk next to it and then closed his eyes.
