In the big city of Canterlot is where a big penthouse stands tall and strong.

The owners of this particular penthouse were a group of 10 girls who were once proud Canterlot High School students and former rivals now turned best friends. It has been three years since 7 of the girls graduated high school, but for the Dazzlings being expelled for a whole year, it had been two years since the Dazzlings graduated. Now as young adults, the girls have been working at one part time job each in order to cover their expenses for the penthouse.

Sunset Shimmer was the manager at the local Canterlot Cinemas. Twilight Sparkle works as an assisstant for the local Canterlot historian in the center of Canterlot City. Rainbow Dash worked as a local gym instructor for women who wanted to get in shape. Applejack had gotten a job at the supermarket where she'd constantly stock food supplies, including the ones her big brother brought over sometimes. Pinkie Pie is the manager at Sugar Cube Corner, taking over to the Cakes in case they weren't around. Fluttershy was a top ranked Zookeeper at the Canterlot City Zoo, caring for all the zoo animals as well as being a wonderful tour guide. Rarity was still working at the Carousel Boutique designing dresses that couldn't get any better than they already are.

As for the Dazzlings, Adagio Dazzle was the manager of a Karaoke bar during the night. Aria Blaze worked as a security guard at a local electronics store in downtown Canterlot. Sonata Dusk was working as the manager of a taco joint providing excellent advertisement and customer service to everyone who stopped by for a bite to eat.
