Unexpected Situation

Previous ChapterNext Chapter

Sunday had finally come around. It was 9:00 A.M and the city of Canterlot was covered in a blanket of snow. It seemed like a nice day for Seth to go for a walk after having a big breakfast. The other girls had decided to sleep in. Seth didn't mind it at all. He figured they deserve a little good nights rest once in a while. Seth was out in the middle of Canterlot City, enjoying the sites, breathing in the fresh air and the cool winter breeze brushing past him. Walking was also another way for him to clear his mind, other than a nice hot shower. It helps him whenever he's depressed or just frustrated from work. He knows being a detective can drain him just as much as it drains his girls as well. But even his girls can drain him, too... in bed.

He's even had the pleasure of kicking bad guy butt as a stress reliever. One of his most recent ones was the former mafia boss Torch and of course there was Tirek, an international fugitive who would always kidnap and murder children. The thought of Tirek just made his blood boil with all the terror and pain he caused all of those families for years. But the thought of the big guy being beaten with the help of Shining Armor made Seth all the more relieved.

Just as he was about to turn the corner on one of the streets, he heard something from inside an alleyway. He turned to see if anyone was there, but all he saw was a dumpster and a couple of cardboard boxes. He walked into the alleyway anyways to see what that sound was and who or what was making it. He then heard a light thump from one of the cardboard boxes. He turned to see it upside down. The top was sealed, but the bottom was opened up.

He lifted it up to find a little girl who looked to be about 4 or 5. She had blonde hair, wall-eyed yellow eyes, grey skin and a yellow dress with a white skirt and she was crying and curled up like a ball.

"Mommy!" she cried to herself.

"You're lost aren't you?" Seth asked. But his question just made her yelp and back away from Seth in fear, breathing heavily.

"Pwease don't hurt me! I just want my mommy!" the little girl begs with her hands covering her face.

"It's okay, I'm not going to hurt you." Seth tried to reassured. But the little girl was still too scared to go near him. She was shivering like a leaf and started sneezing. "Here." Seth unzipped his jacket and took it off, wrapping it around the little girl. Little by little, she stopped shivering and uncovered her eyes to look at Seth with confusion.

"Y-You really mean it? You're not gonna hurt me?" the little girl asked.

"Of course not. I'm here to help you. There's no need to be afraid. I'm a detective." Seth said.

"Detective?" she asked, still confused.

"A crime fighter. I take bad guys to jail. My name is Seth Brooks. What's your name?"

"I'm...uh... Dinky... Dinky Doo."

"Well, Dinky. What do ya say we get you outta here? I'll even buy you some breakfast if you want."

"Really?"

"Sure, kiddo."

"THANK YOU SO MUCH!" Dinky lunged at Seth and gave him a big hug. Seth gave Dinky a light rub on her head. Dinky then grabbed Seth's jacket and gave it to him. He put it on and carried Dinky like he would if she was an infant. He also made sure to keep part of his jacket wrapped up around her to keep her warm. He walked out of the alleyway and back outside the city. Thinking it might be alright, he took Dinky with him to Sugar Cube Corner. On the way, he and Dinky would chat just to keep their minds occupied.

"So, Dinky. What's your mom's name?" Seth asked.

"Her name is Derpy. She looks like an older me. She's the best mommy I've ever had." Dinky said with a giggle.

"Aww, and what about your father?"

"Mommy said he was "watching over us from the stars," I guess it was a bad thing for her because mommy wouldn't stop crying."

'Then that can only mean one thing, she's being raised by a single mother. The poor kid doesn't even know what death is. I should leave it at that since she's still too young and she's been through enough.' Seth thought to himself. "So Dinky, when did you last see your mom?"

"Last night before I went to bed. Mommy told me a story about a magical pwincess who saved her kingdom fwom an evil witch and soon married her prince charming. But when mommy fell asleep later on, some scary man bwoke thwough my window. He put this towel over my mouth and I fell asleep."

When Dinky said this, his eyes shot wide open in shock. 'A tranquilizer rag. Then that means she was kidnapped last night. I'd better keep an eye on her just to make sure her kidnapper doesn't come after her again. In the meantime, I should find out who this man was' Seth thought to himself. "What did this man look like, Dinky? Was he skinny, chubby? How old did he look?"

"I tink he was young... pwobabwy same age as mommy and she's only 22."

"Oh, okay then." 'So it was a man who's in his early 20's.' Seth thought last before he reached Sugar Cube Corner. He set Dinky Doo down and walked up to the front of the counter with Dinky still clinging onto his leg. "Excuse me? You there Cup Cake?" he called out.

"I'll be right with you, just give me a minute." Cup Cake called out.

"Seth?" Dinky said, tugging on your pants. "Can you give me a piggy-back ride pwease?" she asks, looking at you with those big, puppy-dog eyes and adorable smile.

Seth chuckled and picked up Dinky, placing her on his back. She kept her grip on Seth's neck and legs over your shoulders. "Just hang on tight kiddo, you don't want to end up losing your grip and falling backwards." Seth says.

"I won't fall." Dinky giggled.

"Aww, that's so sweet. Are you baby-sitting little Dinky Doo?" said Cup Cake said, coming out of the doorway.

"Well, actually... um..." Seth was trying to find a way to explain it to Cup Cake without trying to spook Dinky. But he couldn't. Not with Dinky so close to him that she could hear every word from over his head. "Hold on a second." he said to Cup Cake before walking towards one of the tables and sitting the young girl down. "Stay here, Dinky. I just need to talk to Cup Cake. You want anything to eat in particular?"

"MUFFINS!" she shouted happily, bouncing on her chair.

"Okay then." Seth chuckled. "Just wait patiently." Seth walked back to the front of the counter and chatted with Cup Cake. "Anyways, to clear things up... I am watching over Dinky for the time being, but not as a favor for this "Derpy." I found Dinky in an alleyway under a cardboard box, scared and cold. She recently kidnapped last night. I'm guessing her kidnapper's still out there looking for her. I'm keeping Dinky safe until I've caught the guy." Seth whispered.

"Oh dear! That's horrible. Well, at least you're doing a good job of it. Now what would you like to order?" Cup Cake asks.

"Just 2 or 3 muffins for Dinky and a cappuccino for me." Seth replied. He paid Cup Cake for the order before he headed to the table where Dinky was sitting at and took his seat.

"What were you and Mrs. Cake talking about, Mister?" Dinky asked.

"It's grown up business, Dinky. I can't tell you." Seth replied.

"Why not? I can keep it a secwet." Dinky begged.

"I'm sure you would, Dinky. But right now isn't the best time. So right now, why don't we play a little game?"

"A game? Sure! What kind of game?"

"A game of Q&A. I'll ask you some questions and you just answer me as truthfully as you can. Okay?"

"Okay!"

"Alright then, here comes the questions: The man that put you to sleep, what was he wearing?"

"Hmm, it wooked wike he wore a wed jacket and bwack pants. He even had a silly wooking hat."

"A hat? What kind of hat?"

"It wooked wike a baseball cap, only he wore it backwards. And the back of his hat had a silly pink snail on it." Dinky giggles.

'Wait! A man in his early 20s, red jacket, backwards hat, black jeans, why does this man sound so familiar?' Seth thought. "Dinky, was he a bit on the skinny side or did he have a little too much to eat?"

"He was pwetty skinny." Dinky replied, scratching her cute little head. That last clue Dinky gave Seth was enough for him to put the pieces of the puzzle together in his head.

'I think I may have found out the kidnapper's true identity. But it's still too soon to go out and find him. I'll have to set a trap for the guy if he ever shows his face again. One way or another, he's just landed himself into a world of trouble.' Seth thought again.

"Okay, here you go, you two. One cappuccino for Seth and 3 delicious blueberry muffins for little Dinky." Cup Cake said, handing Seth and Dinky their food.

"YAY! MUFFINS!" Dinky shouted before opening her mouth wide and taking big bites of her muffins. She looked so adorable when she was stuffing her face. Seth chuckled and took a few sips of his cappuccino. "Thank you for buying me muffins, Mister Seth."

"No need to thank me or be so formal. You can just call me Seth." Seth replied with a slight pat on the little girls head. She giggled before she went back to eating her muffins.

10 minutes later, after they finished their breakfast, Seth took a walk with Dinky to his house. He couldn't take Dinky home because Dinky might get kidnapped again. And if that happened, she wouldn't be able to return her mom ever again. Another reason why was because he didn't know Derpy's address. Dinky was a bit confused when she was taken to this big pent house.

"Seth?" Dinky asked.

"What is it, kiddo?" Seth replied.

"Who lives in this big house?"

"This is where I live. Along with a few... friends of mine."

"They're not... mean... are they?" Dinky asks, giving you the cutest sad face.

"Of course not, Dinky. They're as nice as can be. They just act differently." Seth reassures Dinky. Dinky's sad face then changed to a smile after Seth made her feel more safe. Seth walked up the front door and unlocked it. He opened the door and Dinky became awe-struck at how big and clean the house was.

"Wow! This house is so big! Can I watch TV?"

"Sure. What do you want to watch?"

"Mommy always put on Blue's Clues for me. Can you put that on for me?" Dinky asked.

"Okay. Hang on a sec." Seth walked over to the couch and set Dinky down on the couch. "Wait here." he said. He then walked over to the closet and pulled out a warm blanket. He walked back to the couch and gave it to Dinky. "There, now you can keep warm."

"Tank you, Seth." Dinky replied, snuggling into the blanket. Seth nodded at Dinky and turned on the TV and PS4. He put on Netflix and selected Blue's Clues for Dinky.

"YAY! Blue's Blues!" Dinky shouted happily.

"Enjoy the show, kiddo." Seth walked over to his work desk, making Dinky curious.

"What are you doing, Seth?" Dinky asked.

"I'm just going to look up a few things, Dinky. You just keep watching your show." Seth reassured, earning a nod from Dinky. Seth opened up one of the drawers and pulled out an old Canterlot High School yearbook that Sunset gave him just in case. 'If my hunch is right, Sunset mentioned to me months ago about certain events that took place during the Battle of the Bands years ago.' Seth thought, turning each page in the yearbook. At first, he found nothing. But then the yearbook showed a picture of the very first audition in the Battle of the Bands, which were Snips and Snails.

His eyes darted on Snails. The clothes he wore, the red jacket, black pants, backwards cap with a snail on it. His skinny body, the description of Dinky's kidnapper all too perfectly. Seth began to glare at the photo and closed it up before putting it back in the drawer. He turned on the laptop and searched online for any criminal records Snails had in the past 3 and a half years. There was only one recent crime that Snails had committed back when he was 19: he kidnapped a kid he was hired to babysit.

According to the report, he was caught by the police after they found the child caged up in his bedroom. He said he wouldn't give the child back unless he was paid "extra." He's currently on probation. Never to leave his house unless he has to go to work or if he's in the company of his own legal guardian.

This is it. All the pieces were falling into place. He picked up his business phone and dialed Steel Bars' number. The phone rang three times until finally, his partner picked up.

"Steel, I need to ask a favor of you." Seth spoke quietly in the phone.

'What is it, Seth and why are you whispering? And what could you want on a Sunday?' Steel Bars asks over the phone.

"Did you ever get involved in a case involving a man named Snails? He was wanted for kidnapping a child back when he was 19 years old and is currently on probation."

'Well, actually, yes. I handled that case about a year ago. Why?'

"Well, I got news for you, Steel. He broke probation and kidnapped a little girl eariler last night. The little girl's name is Dinky Doo, she's probably about 4 years old. I have her with me right now, she's safe."

'Why don't you take her back to her mom's?'

"It's too risky. Snails is probably going to come after her again. If that happens, Dinky might not be able to make it back to her mother and plus I don't know the address. What I need you to do is alert the probation officer in charge of Snail's probation and send them over to his parent's house to check up on him. If he's not home, he's probably still out there trying to find Dinky. From what I can tell, Snails probably already knows where I've taken Dinky."

'If you're sure about this, I'll try to get in touch with the Canterlot Police Department. Just make sure that the child is safe and I'll try to do my best handle the rest of this situation.'

"Thanks, Steel. I'll leave the rest of it to you. But if it's more serious than you thought, be sure to let me know."

'Alright, take care, Seth.'

"Bye, Steel."

Steel Bars hung up the phone before Seth did. Looked over at Dinky who had her eyes glued to the TV. Just then, Fluttershy came downstairs yawning and rubbing her eyes, still in her pajamas. She wore yellow bottom PJs with butterflies on it. Her tank top was the same color as her long, silky hair. Her eyes adjusted and looked at Seth, then the TV and then Seth again.

"Seth, why are you watching this show? Are you feeling nostalgic?" Fluttershy asked.

"No, I'm on guard duty. Although, it's more like babysitting if you consider the situation." Seth replies, pointing to Dinky. Dinky lifted her head up and turned to see Fluttershy.

"Hi, Fwuttershy, you wook so pwetty!" Dinky said with a cute smile.

"Is that... Dinky?!" Fluttershy asked.

"Wait, how do you know Dinky?" Seth asked.

"I use to babysit her when she was just a baby. But look how big you've grown Dinky. You look so cute." Fluttershy gave Dinky's head a light and gentle rub, earning a giggle from the little girl. "So why'd you bring her here?" she asks Seth.

"Well, if you want to know..." Seth paused and got up from his work desk. He walked to Fluttershy and whispered in her ear. "She was kidnapped last night by a man named Snails. I found her hiding in a box in an alleyway and gave her some breakfast over at Sugar Cube Corner about 15 minutes ago. I'm keeping her safe until either Snails has been taken into custody or if detective Steel Bars has some info about Snails that might require me to take immediate action."

Fluttershy gasped. "That's terrible! Are you sure you can do this?" she whispers.

"I was able to help save Twilight's neice from a madman from the U.K, hopefully I can handle a simple guy like Snails, but I'm not going to take any chances and get reckless. I have to wait for the phone call from Steel before I can make a move." Seth explains.

"Well, at least you're careful. Good luck. And it's great to see you again, Dinky Doo." Fluttershy gave the wall-eyed little girl a gentle hug and nuzzled her cheek, earning a giggle from her.

"Tank you, Fwuttershy. I gwad to see you, too." Dinky replied.

Fluttershy set Dinky back down on the couch and let her watch her favorite TV show. Fluttershy walked into the kitchen and pulled out some food from the fridge. Seth went back to his desk while he kept an eye on Dinky for the remainder of the day. He could already feel that this Derpy woman was wondering where her loving daughter is and is freaking out. It was also tearing up Seth that Dinky had been seperated from her mom and by a greedy man at that.

Just then, his business phone rang and he ran to his desk, answering it.

"Hello, Seth and Co. Detective Agency, this is Seth, how can I help you?" he asked.

"Hello? My name is Derpy. I need your help, please! My daughter, Dinky is missing!" Derpy said over the phone.

"Ma'am, relax. I've got good news. I found your daughter, she's safe with me. If you want, you can come over to my office and you can stay over until it's safe for you to take your daughter back home." Seth said, trying to remain calm.

"Oh, thank goodness, I was getting worried. I have your address, so I don't need directions. Just please keep my little girl safe until I get there, I don't want anything to happen to her."

"You can rest assured, your daughter is in perfectly good hands. I'll be waiting for you to come by at any time. I've even alerted my partner about your daughter's kidnapper."

"Oh thank you so much! I'll be right there as soon as I can."

"Alright. See you then." Seth hung up and leaned back into the chair, sighing. "This is one messed up case."

About 10 minutes rolled around and so far, Steel Bars hasn't called back. Dinky Doo was on her second episode of Blue's Clues and Fluttershy had finished up her breakfast. Soon, the other girls all walked downstairs, finally rested up and ready to start their last weekend day off before they all have to get back to work. Immediately after they see the TV show.

"Seriously? You're that into kiddie shows, Seth?" Rainbow asked.

"Nope, we have a guest that I've watching over until the heat dies down." Seth explained, still sitting at his desk chair and staring up at the ceiling all bored and waiting a bit impatient.

"You know, you don't have to deny it. You can tell us anything, we'll understand." Sunset says.

"It's no lie, girls. You don't believe me..." Seth paused and got out of his desk, walking towards the couch. He picked up Dinky Doo, showing her to the rest of the girls. "...ask this little angel." Dinky turned to see the other girls and waved at them.

"Hi evewybody! I'm Dinky Doo! Nice to meet you." Dinky says, waving her cute little arms excitedly.

"Awwww." some of the girls exclaimed.

"If Ah remember right, she's Derpy's daughter." AJ says.

"Yeah. And she's staying with me for a good reason." Seth says before he walks up to the girls and tells them everything. When he finished explaining, they all got shocked expressions on their faces.

"No way, that skinny little gangster-wannabe loser is out to get her?" Aria asked.

"I say he needs a little healthy dose of butt kicking." Adagio says.

"Shh, girls, not in front of the little girl, she's only a toddler." Seth says

"Either way, this guy needs to be taught a lesson for endangering the little kid." Rainbow says.

"Yes, but acting too hasty could be considered dangerous. Snails might be armed or something." Seth said.

"Seth's got a point, girls." Sunset adds.

Just as they were still arguing with each other, the door knocks and Seth immediately headed over to see who it was. He opened the door and revealed it to be a woman with grey skin like Dinky's and wall-eyed yellow eyes and blonde. She had the look of sadness and anxiety in her eyes like she was looking for someone.

"Am I in the right place? My name is Derpy and I'm looking for my daughter!" Just as she said that, Dinky looked over at the door entrance and shouted out to the woman with joy and ran towards her.

"MOMMY!" Dinky shouted.

"DINKY!!!" shouted Derpy. She kneeled down and held her daughter in a tight and warm embrace, hugging her little girl. Derpy felt the tears running down her cheeks. They were tears of happiness and joy. "I'm so glad you're okay sweetie! Mommy was so worried!" she cried over Dinky's shoulders before she looked to Seth. "Are you Seth?"

"Yes I am, Derpy." Seth reassured her. Derpy then stood up and walked towards the detective and shook his hand.

"Thank you for saving my baby girl's life. I was so worried when I found her bedroom empty and the window wide open. It's all my fault I hired that horrible man to babysit Dinky." Derpy said.

"You hired Snails to babysit you? Why?" Seth asked, shocked.

"He said he's had experience with babysitting children. He even showed me pictures of him and the children he looked after and they all looked so happy."

"It's very easy to be decieved by simple pictures, but there's more to it when you look behind the mask." Seth says. Derpy and the other girls were a bit confused by Seth's words. "In other words, it's always best to do a "thorough" background check before you even consider hiring a babysitter at all. Right now, I'm waiting for detective Steel Bars to give me a call about Snails' whereabouts, so for the time being, you'll have to stay here under our surveillance. Do you have any questions?"

"I've got no problems, as long as we're all together we won't have to worry abo--" Twilight's words were suddenly cut off by the sounds of the glass windows being shattered, followed by the sound of a gunshot. All the girls yelped and ducked. Seth kneeled down behind the couch with Derpy in one arm and Dinky in his other. Dinky was screaming from the sound.

"Shhh! Stay calm, girls! Take shelter in the upstairs bedrooms!" Seth told everyone.

"What are you going to do, Seth?" Dinky asked, still scared.

"What I do best: Beat up the bad guy and send him to jail." Seth reassures Dinky with a warm smile before handing her to Derpy, "Now hurry up and head upstairs, I've got an armed wannabe gangster to bust!" he ordered, earning aa nod from Derpy who grabbed her daughter and ran upstairs with a few of the other girls.

"HEY!" shouted another male voice. Seth turned and saw that it came from outside. "I'll make this easy for you: Give me the damn girl right now or I'll put a bullet through your head instead of another window!"

Seth didn't need to figure it out too long to know that it was Snails. 'Damn it! He must've followed me when I was walking Dinky over to my house earlier this morning.' Seth thought to himself. "Shit! How the hell am I suppose to get to him if he's still got that damn firearm still loaded in his hand?"

"I ain't got all day! Give me the girl or I'll blast your brains out!" shouted Snails.

"I don't got any other choices other than bash through that door and--" Seth paused and found out how to confront Snails. 'Wait, that's it, I'll create a diversion!' Seth kneeled up and rushed over to the front door and pulled it open and jumped out of they in time for Snails to take a few shots at the entrance. Seth then ran towards the sliding door where the pool was. He slid it opened and rushed over the ledge and leaped onto the sidewalk, dashing over to the right where Snails was. Snails eyes darted towards Seth and fired his weapon at him. Seth tackled Snails to the ground at the same time. Snails lost his grip on his gun as it landed on th sidewalk, barely out of his reach.

"LET GO OF ME, BASTARD!" Snails shouted, trying to brake free from his stranglehold.

"Not likely, you coward! Where do you get off with kidnapping innocent little kids?! What the fuck is your problem?!"

"Not my fault their parents wouldn't pay up with interest! What's so bad about wanting a little extra cash?! As soon as I've saved up all the cash I've made off those ungrateful bastards, I can finally show I'm the greatest!"

"That's why you resorted to kidnapping little children, for some petty chump change and a so-called like of luxury?! People like you make me sick to my stomach!" There was no denying it, Seth was really pissed off with the man he pinned down. He lifted his left arm, but felt a sharp jolt as he lifted it over his head, clenching it to a fist. He grunted in agony and turned to see that Snails had landed a clean shot in his left shoulder. The blood from his wound dripped down and collided with the concrete sidewalk. "Damn you!" he exclaimed.

"Spare me!" Snails retorted, kicking Seth off of him. Snails crawled over to his gun to get it, but Seth grabbed him with his right arm, while his left arm was limp and bleeding. With all his strength, he pulled Snails away from the weapon far enough for him to body slam Snails flat into the ground, paralizing him. Seth took off Snails hat and gripped his hair tightly. "GAAH!!! LET GO! THAT HURT!"

"SHUT UP! Stay down or I'll knock you out! Threatening the lives of little children just because of your greedy obsession with wanting live the high life is a disgusting crime in itself! A human life is much more valuable than all the money in the world! When a human dies, that's the end, they don't come back from the dead, even if you WANTED them to!" Seth shouted over Snails.

"What would you know?! I'm doing this to show my dad I'm not some useless son who he thinks can't amount to anything no matter how hard I try to impress him! You've probably been through the same thing as I was, don't even try to deny it!" Snails says before he suddenly gets punched in the back of his head hard. There was a long silence before Seth spoke up... less hostile.

"You're only half-right, Snails. My dad always had his drunken fits whenever I would go out solving cases on my own. He always argued with my mom that it was "about time for the damn boy to feed himself." But his actions and words were hidden behind the fact that I was growing up and making a name for myself. He told me that he was so proud of me and to keep moving forward on the very same day he laid down his own life before my very eyes." Seth explained, ignoring the burning pain in his left shoulder.

"I just... wanted to please him." Snails said.

"If you wanted to please him so much, you should've tried either furthering your education in college or finding a job that best suits your abilities instead of resorting to kidnapping kids and holding them for ransom."

"I... I'm sorry."

"It's not gonna work like that Snails." Seth and Snails heard the sound of police sirens getting closer and closer to them and pretty soon, cop cars and an ambulance were dashing towards them. "Actions like yours can only be resolved by a court of law. Just pray that they don't give you a life sentence and also pray that you'll see your buddy, Snips." Those were Seth's last words before he stumbled onto his back and stared at the sky, slightly breathing. He was beginning to lose conciousness from the blood loss in his left shoulder.

Shortly after that, the girls ran outside the door to check on Seth, only for Fluttershy to scream in shock. She found Seth lying on the ground and losing blood. The other girls were just as scared for Seth's life. Fluttershy ran past the girls and got to Seth first, checking to see if he still had a pulse or a heartbeat. Both checked out. Seth looked to his left to see Fluttershy's tear-filled eyes.

"Be strong... Fluttershy. I'll be okay! Just a *grunt* flesh wound." he said before he was carried into the ambulance. Once the back doors closed, the ambulance rode off out of the girl's eyesight. Meanwhile, the cops hand-cuffed Snails and escorted the man into a cop car and drove him back to the station.

"Oh... please be okay, Seth!" Fluttershy said to herself, wiping the tears out of her eyes.

"Mommy? Can we go see Seth?" Dinky asked Derpy.

"I don't know if that's a good idea, sweetie. Seth is hurt and he needs to get better." Derpy said slightly sad.

"But Seth wescued me fwom that meanie man! And he even bought me bweakfast and let me stay at his house. Pwease mommy, at least when he feels better?" Dinky begged with her cute and big wall-eyes. "I just want to tell him thank you."

Derpy could feel the gratitude from her daughter and how she was really high-strung about it. If anything, she really looked up to Seth for having saved her little life. So with a sigh of defeat, Derpy kneeled down and looked her daughter straight in the eyes.

"Alright sweetie, we'll stop by the hospital so you can tell him that." Derpy said.

"YAY! Tank you, mommy!" Dinky lunged at Derpy, giving her a big hug, with Derpy following it up with a big hug of her own.

'Detective Seth Brooks, huh? I owe you everything for saving my little girl's life. Thank you so much.' Derpy thought to herself.
