August 11-Time Jinx / Monster Seeking Monster night 2

It's a beautiful Sunday morning. Apple Bloom toasted a bagel, buttered it, and enjoyed it.

"Morning, Apple Bloom." Amy greeted as she came downstairs.

"Amy!" Apple Bloom gasped. "I didn't know you wake up early on a Sunday."

"Of course. I always get up early to get the Sunday Newspaper. My husband often looks at the sports section before I do."

Later, Kevin and Amy enjoy their breakfast and paper as Apple Bloom heads for the front door.

"Hey!" Kevin called out. "What's the rush, Flash?"

"I got a text from Twilight Sparkle." Apple Bloom answered. "She said she wants to show me something special."

"Well, it is early in the day. Just, don't be gone too long. We have a date with the Laundromat, you know."

Apple Bloom nodded and went out. Soon, she met Twilight in front of a house with a satellite dish on the roof.

"Morning, Apple Bloom." Twilight greeted. "You made it."

"So, what are you getting me into this time?" Apple Bloom wondered.

"You'll see."

They were soon greeted by a woman with raggedy red hair and wearing a light brown lab coat and a visor on her head. "Hello, friends. Welcome to my humble abode."

Apple Bloom looked at her with interest. "Say, aren't you miss Jerri Rig from Time Jinx?"

"Good guess. I see somebody recognizes Jackbox characters. Come on in, girls."

The girls entered the house. They were seated with six other people. Jerri speaks to everybody. "Okay, folks. It's time to learn of history like never before. To start, let's travel to the year when rap icons Run-DMC collabed with Aerosmith. Type on the pads that are on your chairs the year I'm referring to."
Everybody thought about it. They know it's in the eighties. Apple Bloom typed in 1986. Jerri spoke up. "Let's see where you wound up."

The time waves showed the eight players their destinations. Apple Bloom was correct. The time door closed as a red haired man talked to Apple Bloom. "How did you figure that out?"

"That's the year when Transformers: The Movie came out." Apple Bloom explained.

"Good point."

Soon, Jerri Rig gave them their next challenge. "Let's try some Time Hopping. You'll mingle in a party in a certain decade. See if you can blend in."

The group found themselves in the 1980s. A woman with black hair spoke up. "After that movie I saw, I'll never look at circuses the same way again."

"I agree." Twilight replied. "Killer Klowns from Outer Space does leave a big impact."

As the day continues, Jerri Rig guides them through other tests. Like spotting an imposter from an alternate timeline, fixing the time stream, and going through more missions, Jerri Rig speaks to the people.

"You guys are amazing." Jerri said happily. "We have one more mission. This time, we're heading to the future."

This got Twilight Sparkle intrigued. Apple Bloom was still nervous. Jerri Rig gave them their mission. "We're heading for the year where New York City opens new Twin Towers at a different location than where the originals were destroyed 100 years earlier."

The crowd were confused as they punched in their numbers. Twilight and Apple Bloom punched in 2101. That was the right answer.

"That's right!" One of the female players gasped. "My mom was pregnant with me the day those towers came tumbling down."

After everybody returned to the house, Jerri Rig applauded the crowd.

"Okay, guys." Jerri praised. "You did excellent. Especially you, miss Sparkle. Your knowledge of history was exceptional."

"Thanks, Jerri." Twilight replied. "This was a unique experience."

"It sure was." Apple Bloom added. "Especially for me."

Jerri chuckled, knowing the farm girl is right. Later, at the laundromat, Apple Bloom and her guardians were having their clothes washed.

"That experience with Jerri Rig was so wild." Apple Bloom said. "That's one way to learn about history."

"You know, while you were time hopping," Amy told her, "Trixie Lulamoon called. She said she would like you to meet her at the haunted house tonight."

"Sounds like the Great and Powerful one is ready for night two." Kevin figured.

Later that night, Apple Bloom arrived at the haunted house. She was greeted by the scaly bodyguard and made her way to the main room. There, Trixie and the seven other people were there. She was then approached by hostess Felicia.

"Welcome back, miss Bloom." Felicia said. "Come to see the next round of possible dates?"

"Yes, ma'am." Apple Bloom replied as she sits down on a chair.

"Well, you came in a good time. There's a full moon out. That could affect some of these people's monster powers." She turns to the players. "Time to message each other."

Trixie saw a woman with light brown hair in a ponytail. She figures it's a good time for a date.

"Good evening, friend." Trixie said happily. "Would you like to meditate with me since there's a full moon out?"

"Why, I would be delighted to." The woman said with a southern accent."

"Reminds me of my sister." Apple Bloom said while enjoying some vanilla frozen yogurt. Later, some of the people, including Trixie, got a successful date. Two of these players didn't.

"Since this is the second night," Felicia said, "it's time to reveal your monster powers, one for each night. Starting with you."

The man Trixie dated last night started growing, his clothes ripped up, and his features are now more dog like. He howled and growled his identity. "🎶WEREWOLF!🎶"

"A werewolf?!" Apple Bloom gasped.

Felicia went to the startled farm girl with information. "The werewolf get an extra heart each time they successfully date on a full moon. But, when the full moon is out and he doesn't get a date, he loses half a heart."

"I dated a werewolf last night?" Trixie said. She then gives off a sly smile. "Wait until he finds out who he dated."

The people leave the mansion satisfied. Apple Bloom said good night to Trixie and headed for her summer home. "Well, two nights over, four more to come."
