Author's Note

Twilight and her friends act as wedding crashers to rescue Megan from a forced wedding.

7. Wedding Bells (or should I say 'Blues')

The group arrived at the village of Marrymore. After chasing Booster throughout the countryside, they came to this village with an impressive church as it's centerpiece.

"This place is very nice." Geno said. "Too bad we have no time for sight seeing."

"Geno's right." Twilight added. "We have to save Megan from being married to that maniac."

I still can't believe I'm helping Princess Twilight. Chrysalis thought. And somehow, It doesn't feel that bad.

The group saw a group of mushroom people very upset. Mallow went up to the group. "What's the matter?"

"My lovely lady and I were ready to get married in this church." A mushroom male informed.

"But then, this freaky man with raggedy beard pushed us away so he can have his own wedding." The bride added while sobbing. "This is terrible."

"Did this freaky man have a young lady with blond hair which is tied with a red bow?" Twilight asked.

"As a matter of fact, yes,"

The group got scared. Twilight is now more determined. "We've got to crash this wedding and save Megan."

"But how?" Geno asked. "From what these people told us, these Sniffets won't let anybody in."

"There must be another way in. Let's start looking."

Twilight and her friends looked around the church. Mallow sees something on the side of the building.

"Hey, you guys." Mallow calls out. "I found it!"

Twilight, Geno, and Chrysalis went to Mallow and found a side door.

"Good work, Mallow." Twilight praised. "Follow me, guys."

Everybody quietly followed Twilight through the side door. They are amazed at the sight of this place.

"It's beautiful." Geno said. "Once Booster is ejected, that couple will be glad to return here."

Twilight noticed tears coming from Chrysalis. She was shocked. "Chrysalis, are you crying?"

Chrysalis turned to her unlikely ally. "I guess I'm feeling a little sorrow, Twilight. I'm starting to regret trying to ruin your brother's wedding to Cadence."

Chrysalis felt bad for that misdeed? I guess being with me is starting to change her perspective.

Meanwhile, inside the alter, Booster walks out wearing a tuxedo while Megan is forced into a wedding dress. She started crying, fearing that she'll never see Twilight and any of her friends again.

"No need to cry, my dear." Booster said with confidence. "When all is said and done, we will be happy together forever."

"If only Twilight Sparkle is here." Megan sobbed. "She'd get me out of this mess."

"Sorry the Princess of Friendship couldn't attend. But, I'll show her pictures of our honeymoon."

Suddenly, a Sniffet barges into the alter. "Hey, boss! We have a problem."

"How dare you interrupt my great moment!" Booster protested. "You better have a good reason to disrupt my wedding."

"It's that peaky alicorn!" The Sniffet reported. "She and her rag tag group are heading this way."

At that moment, Twilight and her friends came into the alter to confront Booster and his Sniffets.

"No wedding bells for you, Booster!" Twilight said with authority. "Let Megan go!"

"Give up my beautiful bride?" Booster gasped. "Isn't that a little hasty?"

"I'd do as she says if I were you." Megan said. "This is one pony you don't want to mess with her."

"And, I know that fact from experience." Chrysalis added.

Megan was shocked to see her kidnapper joining Twilight. "Chrysalis? What are you doing here?"

"I came to Booster's little hideout because I heard you were there. I was fortune that Twilight showed up and offered me to help her."

Booster's eyes widened. "Chrysalis? The fearsome Changeling?"

"I didn't know I was known even to creeps like him." Chrysalis said with shock.

"I guess your reputation is known by other creatures besides ponies." Mallow figured.

A group of Sniffets showed up to block the group.

"You will not disrupt our leader's wedding." The lead Sniffet said.

Mallow sees Twilight's necklace glow. "Twilight, I think it's time for a triple move."

"I have a new triple move we can use." Geno said. "I call it the Shooting Star Shot. Twilight, Chrysalis, the three of us should pull that off."

The two ponies nodded. Chrysalis lifted up Twilight and Geno and tossed them in the air. Geno started blasting the army of Sniffets. They were all shot down as Twilight floated down. This shocked Booster a lot.

"That's some teamwork." Booster admitted. "Princess Twilight, this maiden shall return to you."

Megan cheered as she ran back to Twilight. As she hugs her friend, one of the Sniffets was upset. "What'll we do with that wedding cake we made?"

"There was a couple who were about to get married before we showed up." Booster realized. "Let's save it for them."

The Sniffets cheered, knowing that their cake won't be wasted.

"Come on, everypony." Twilight said. "Let's go back to Canterlot."

As the group leaves the church, Booster watches them, and has a thought. I think I'll stick around. Maybe I'll learn what a wedding is really all about.

Later, Twilight and her friends were back in Canterlot, talking to the princesses.

"This story you tell us is deeper than we thought." Celestia said.

"I agree." Luna said. "A world without wishes and dreams is a frightening thought."

"Which is why we are now looking for the stars to rebuild the Star Road." Geno said.

"And, along the way," Mallow added. "I'll be able to find my real parents."

Megan comes out wearing her pink and blue outfit. "Good thing those Snippets took care of this outfit. They're good at somethimg."

Celestia then turns to Chrysalis. "We are all surprised that you're joining them, Chrysalis."

"I feel that I should help in some way." Chrysalis informed. "The Smithy Gang are more dangerous than me or any other villain of Equestria."

"That's true. Claymorton is one vicious little monster."

Everyone agreed. Later that night, Megan dressed in a short sleeved blue nightgown, ready for bed. She looks out the window, and is getting over her experience with Booster. And, she thought about this big mission Twilight and her friends are involved in.

"From what Twilight said," Megan said to herself, "she is helping Geno to find the seven stars of the Star Road. And, they found three so far. With four more to find, this Smithy Gang is going to get relentless."

Megan climbs into bed and starts to think about this. "Even with Chrysalis on her side, Twilight and her new companions will still need more help. That crew saved me. So, I go along with them."

The young girl soon drifted off to sleep. In the morning, the search for the stars continues.
