The Hypnotic Adventures of Blank Sheet
Ace in the Hole
Previous ChapterNext ChapterFor the most part, the trip into town was uneventful, but hushed whispers from passersby gave me what I wanted to know.
“Did you hear? Half of Ponyville, going at it right in front of Sugarcube Corner!” exclaimed a gossipy mare.
Her friend wasn’t about to be one upped. “Hear? My own brother was in that mess! Half the family wants to disown him, and the other half is jealous!”
Spiral and I kept walking. It took a little effort not to smirk as the rumors kept flowing.
“They say Nurse Redheart finally snapped! She drugged any patient she could get her hands on, and mounted the stallions herself, whether they could move or not! No shame at all, when they pulled her off!”
Well, at least she wasn’t tense. As we walked, I spotted a young mare popping the last bite of a cupcake into her mouth and halted Spiral so we could watch. Sure enough, seconds later, she blinked, and her eyes got glassy. It was tempting, but I had other goals that day, and moved on before she settled on me as her fuckbuddy of the moment. I was satisfied, though. Three for three on my chaos. No wonder Discord gave me Spiral.
Speaking of Spiral, she had started to look at me a little differently—not only with fervor and loyalty, but awe. She didn’t leave me wondering long. “You did all that?”
I nodded as we kept walking. We had just reached the section of street where the orgy had happened the day before, and frustrated shop owners were mopping at the street, their outdoor benches, and anything else low enough to the ground to have been covered in mixed juices the day before. Needless to say, they seemed irked. Spiral seemed astonished.
“That’s amazing, Blank!” Spiral planted a kiss on my cheek as if it were the most natural thing in the world. I wondered, briefly, what it would’ve been like to have her as a real special somepony, but discarded the curiosity quickly. This was better.
Eventually, we spotted one of the four remaining major targets: Fluttershy, leading a train of ducks through town. I admit it. I almost said, “Aww.” I decided to act before she could get away.
“Spiral, do you see that yellow mare with the pink mane? The one with the ducks?”
Spiral nodded. “Yes.”
“Go talk to her. She’s as shy as they get, so be sure not to scare her off, but offer her help with her assertiveness through hypnosis. Do what it takes to convince her, no matter what, but don’t get caught taking her under where ponies can see.”
“Understood!” Spiral trotted off toward Fluttershy. The pegasus was uneasy at first; I could see it from my vantage point easily. Spiral won her over, though, crouching to fawn over the ducks. She acted a little dense when we were alone, sure, but Spiral was no fool. Watching their conversation from my vantage point, I saw Fluttershy playing with the ducklings, talking to them and Spiral both, and generally opening up just a tiny bit. Though I had misgivings, I decided not to fuck Fluttershy after all—she was just too innocent. I also decided not to hold myself to that, should I ever change my mind—those wings…
Before too long, Fluttershy and Spiral began walking away. I followed, keeping my distance, and enjoying the rush of becoming a shadow from time to time, when the opportunity presented itself. I’ll never know why ponies didn’t want Discord in charge, I swear.
Fluttershy’s cottage was a fair walk from the center of town. I watched Spiral and Fluttershy enter, but continued to keep my distance myself. After letting a good ten minutes pass, I halted time and entered. Fluttershy lay on her couch, eyes closed. Spiral sat next to her, stopped in mid sentence. Just in case, I stepped into the couch’s shadow before waiting for time to reassert itself.
“Good. Deeper and deeper, Fluttershy…”
Angel Bunny was near. Before I could take real action, that had to be dealt with. Reaching over, I poked the rodent’s head from the shadows, and he flopped over unconscious. Was my power stronger on animals? I didn’t know, but this wasn’t the time for experiments. I moved from behind the couch, and Spiral let out a squeak of surprise.
I smiled reassuringly. “Just another present. Sorry to startle you.”
Spiral calmed quickly, and waved a hoof at Fluttershy. “I got her under for you, Master.”
Nodding in approval, I touched Fluttershy’s head. Spiral’s hypnosis probably didn’t have any one day limit, but I was confident my power was more potent while it lasted. “Fluttershy, you’re a bit more assertive now. Your natural personality isn’t gone, and you can still be timid, but you’re not the pushover you were earlier today.”
Unable to resist, I ran a hoof through Fluttershy’s pink mane, and stroked a wing gently. “Do you know what happened to Pinkie and Applejack, Fluttershy?”
Fluttershy nodded sluggishly before responding. “Yes… Twilight said they were put under some kind of hypnotic spell. She told Rainbow that as soon as her shift ended, she should find a hypnotist who just moved here.”
“When does her shift end, Fluttershy?”
“Two…”
I looked at the clock. Half past twelve. Enough time for preparations, to be sure. “Fluttershy, listen. I’m a good friend, and you trust me completely. I was here when Spiral hypnotized you, as a precaution. Understand?”
Fluttershy nodded, and I took a place next to Spiral. “Wake up.”
Blinking a few times, the pastel pegasus flashed a brilliant smile. “Oh, thank you both! I definitely feel much more assertive now!”
I returned her smile. “It was a pleasure, Fluttershy. Spiral and I have some things to attend to, so we’re going to go. You have a good day, though!”
As Spiral and I left the cottage, Fluttershy continued to offer a warm smile as she waved goodbye.
I smiled a bit wistfully. Maybe I’d let a prize go, but reclaiming it later wouldn’t be hard, if I chose. In any case, she was on our side now, even if she didn’t know it. It was time to get back to work.
