I Am(Now)The Gardener

      “Ugh, my head hurts. Man that was one weird dream.” I moved my right arm but something stopped it. “What the?”

I tried to move it again, but a shot of pain was the only response my arm gave me.

   “Great…” I grunted, “So my lightning strike and broken arm dream was real then...although, that doesn't explain the figures.”

So far two things from my dream were true, but the figures. I didn’t know if I was hallucinating or something. I cracked open my eyes for a brief second, until the blinding light from the nearby window forced me to close my eyes. I slowly sat up and used my left arm to rub my eyes.

   “What the heck?”

   Well I knew that I was in a room of course but how it looked like, got me. First it looks cartoony. I could see the outlines on the walls and furniture. There were three doors in this strange cartoony room, two were open and one was not. One door lead to the bathroom, next probably the hallway and the last one lead to a balcony. From the bed I couldn’t see what that structure from the distance was. Heck I couldn’t even see the clouds.

   “Hmm, where did I put my glasses?” I turned my head towards the bed counter on my right. When I eyed it I suspected to see my belongings, but all I saw was a strange looking lamp and book. “Can these people at least put my stuff here? I mean I know you guys are helping me, but come on!”

   A gust of wind came through the balcony door which sent shivers down my spine. “God, why is it so cold in here?” That’s when it hit me. I felt naked in the bed that I was recovering in. I didn’t even notice that I didn’t have my shirt and pants on, just underwear. I was confused and scared on why they took them.

“Don’t worry Geoffrey, maybe they are just friendly people trying help you out?”  I thought, trying to calm myself down. Once I did I looked at my hands and all of my worries came flooding back to me.

   “WHAT THE HELL'S GOING ON HERE!?” I screamed and then I started to panicked.

Meanwhile on the other side of the door…

   After last night’s strange events, Celestia placed two of her Royal Guards to…you guessed it, guard the strange monkey ape thing. Both of them were pegasi and their names were Sky Shield and Thunder Strike. They spent the past twelve hours standing and guarding the creature waiting for it to show any signs of waking up. Now these two were very bored of their duty.

   “Ugh why won’t that thing just wake up,” complained Sky Shield while leaning against the door.

   “I don’t know but-” Thunder Strike was interrupted by a loud cry.

   “WHAT THE HELL'S GOING ON HERE!?”

   “Finally, that thing woke up,” said Sky Shield.

   “Alright then you stay here and guard the creature while I tell the Princesses,” replied Thunder Strike.

   “Aright then I will stay here and guard…Wait a minute?” But Thunder Strike had already left. “Great I still have to guard this thing.”

   “I hope something interesting happens.” Sky shield leaned back against the door and continued his duties.

Back to frighten Geoffrey…

   “W-what's going on,” I panicked looking at my hands and my body. My body was now a cartoon.

“Maybe it’s just a dream. Yeah all of this is just a sick twisted dream that the evil part of my mind made.” I moved my left hand and pinched my leg.

   “Ouch,” I rubbed the area I pinched.

   “No it’s not dream.” I looked at the closed door. “Dream or not, I'm getting the hell out of here! Find the person who made me like this and kick his ass!”

   I slowly got myself out of the bed. Another gust of wind came in, “While I’m at it, I might wanna find my clothes.”

I walked towards the door and slowly open it. I froze in place when I fully open the door. In front of me was a pony, not just any pony. It was a member of Royal Guard from My Little Pony. He turned his head towards me. Me and him were standing there, staring at each other eye to eye.

“I don’t know if I should A) be excited, B) be scared, C) go back to the room, or D) run like hell!” I thought about it for a few seconds. “Um, neither lets YOLO it!” (Big Whoop, Wanna Fight About It?)

   “Um…Hi,” I said waving my hand towards him. He flinched and backed away from me. “Um…Look…I'm not going to hurt you,” I moved towards him but he grabbed his spear and pointed it towards me.

   “S-stay back!” he shouted.

“Great he is scared. Well I'm scared too so…”

   “Heyheyhey look, all I want to know is where I’m at. Please don’t be scared. I’m just as just as scared as you,” I said trying to calm him down. I knew where I was at, but if I revealed to them that I already knew them, it could have led to problems. I thought that it would be best to say it to the Princess first, just to be safe.

   “Hey, I'm not scared of some monkey!” he said moving towards me.

“Really? I could have sworn you were just scared of me.” I thought looking at him with a ‘really’ face.

The guard kept walking towards me, trying to put me back to the room. “Now go back to your room like a good little monkey,” he said.

“Ok, I am really tired of being called a monkey.”

   I balled up my fist and said, “First off, I’m a whole two feet taller than you...and if call me a monkey one more time, I’ll make sure that you're the one looking like a monkey afterwards.”

   He gasped from my comment, but hey he had it coming.

   “Hey man, I’m not going to hurt you or anything like that. Look my name is Geoffrey, a human, what's yours?” I raised my hand towards him. He looked at my hand then my face and back to my hand. He held out his left hoof and shook my hand.

   “Umm…mine is Sky Shield and I’m a pegasus. How is a going?” He smiled now knowing that I was friendly.

   I smiled back to him and said, “I'm doing fine at the moment Sky Shield...just don’t call me a monkey. Ok?”

   “I won’t call you that again. I’m sorry.”

   “It’s ok, but why do you want me go back to my room,” I questioned.

   “Well one of my buddies is getting our Princess here to speak to you,” he replied.

   “Oh…ok then...I’ll go back into my room then...” and with that said I went back and closed the door.

“Hmm so the Princess is coming here, huh?” I thought. “That makes things a lot easier. Now I’ll just wait.”

I walked to the bathroom to release some liquids caused by my first encounter with one of the locals.

Princess Celestia’s Room

   Princess Celestia, Luna, and Shining Armor all sat in Celestia’s room to discuss the strange events of last night. Blueblood summons a monkey looking creature out of thin air. How the creature looked like was very odd to them.

First it had no fur anywhere over its body, besides its head, and it had clothes covering it. Its face was flat and the eyes were small. Its skin had a light brown color and its mane was dark brown. Let’s not forget its voice. It sounded like a stallion, so it was a definitely a male. His appendages were quite interesting to them. Two of them had hands at the end, which is what lead them to believe that it was some sort of monkey, and the other two were flat and they had claw looking things sticking out.

   But how it appeared to them was violent. Judging on how it looked like a small version of a Minotaur, his right arm was broken due to the landing. The food that was all over him it caused him to slide across the table. So in order to help him, they brought him to one of the guest rooms. Once there, they took off all of his clothes, until they also found another reason why he wore clothes. So they left his undergarments on. They checked the pockets of the clothing. Inside were two objects: a small rectangular beige case and small black rectangular device.

   “Sister what are going to do with this monkey?” Luna question while looking at the black device.

   “Well we can’t send him back that’s for sure,” replied Celestia.

   “Why?”

   “Well when Blueblood was performing the spell, he had something with him.”

Luna raised her brow, “What was it that Blueblood had?”

   Celestia frowned, “He took a magical artifact from the artifact room.”

   “Well what was it?”

   “It was the El Dorado statue. I think he thought it would help him with the spell, but that artifact was only meant for teleportation. So when Blueblood cast the spell the monkey came about.”

   “Well how come we can’t send him back?”

Celestia averted her gaze towards the ground, “Well he dropped it.”

   “What?! Doesn't he know that once the El Dorado statue is broken, nopony can fix it, not even magic!?” Luna was worried. The creature cannot return to where he came from.

   “What will we do with him?” questioned Shining Armor.

   “We must wait for the creature to awaken from his sleep. Then we will found out what we will do with him.”

Luna and Shining Armor nodded until some pony knocked on the door. Shining walked to the door to find Thunder Strike.

    Thunder Strike saluted, “Sir, the creature has awoken from his sleep.”

   “That is good to hear, I will tell the Princesses myself. You can now take the day off, Thunder.” Thunder Strike saluted again and flew off. Shining went back to the Princesses to tell them the news.

   “Princesses the creature has awoken,” Shining stated.

   “Good now let’s go meet this monkey and find who he is,” said Celestia and walked towards his room. Shining Armor and Luna followed Celestia, but Luna stopped and looked at the monkey’s objects.

“Hmm I want to find out what these objects are. Well, might as well bring them along,” Luna thought. She levitated the objects with her and continued to walking to the room.

Geoffrey’s Room

   “Ugh this is sssooo boring,” I thought. “Hmm...Maybe if I talk to Sky Shield, it'll help me out of my boredom.” I walked back to the door and opened it.

   “Hey, Sky?”

   “Hey, what’s up,” He responded.

   “Hey, I am pretty bored in here. Want to talk about something?”

   He nodded no and said, “In a few minutes the Princesses will come here and I must be seen guarding the door. You know it’s my job to guard you. I can’t lose it.”

    “I understand,” with that said I closed the door and walked towards the balcony. I looked over the balcony and looked down at the city of Canterlot.

   “Man this place is something. Too bad I have to go back, but it’s for the best. My family must be worried sick right now, especially my brother,” Just thinking about it made a tear form in my eye. “I hope he's ok.”

U.S.A, Earth

        Josh had been dancing around his room all day yesterday and today, not knowing what was going on in the world. He was feeling confident for this week’s exam and he was ready to pass them. Nothing in the world was going to stop him now. He continued to dance and he eventually danced out of his room with his I-pod in his ears. Then he made his way outside completely ignoring the lightning storm.

   “Now jump up and get krazy,” Josh sang with the song, and then something magical happen. He got struck by lightning in the same place where his old brother was.  (Don’t worry he is not dead.)

Back to Cantorlot

“I really hope he’s ok,” I thought again. I walked back into the room and lied back on the bed. As soon I did I saw Princess Celestia and Luna walk in.

“Hmm who is that guy behind them,” I thought. He was a white stallion with a blue mane. I continued to look at them, not sure what to say.

   When they stop walking Celestia was the first one to speak, “My name is Princess Celestia ruler of Equestria. This here is my sister Luna Co-Ruler of Equestria and this is Captain Shining Armor of the Royal Guards.” She stopped and I sat there speechless on what to say. All of this was still unbelievable to me.

   “Umm…my n-name is Geoffrey, Geoffrey Hurnyak,” I stuttered. I was pretty scared or astonished...whichever one fits. If I said anything wrong I might have ended up in deep crap.

   Celestia smiled and said, “There is nothing to be scared of Geoffrey. Now you must have many questions to ask right now and so do we.”

   I chuckled, “You have no idea.”

   “Good let’s get started.”

“Great…this is going to be long day,” I thought.
